Abstract
Description
[0001] ĂĚƵŶŽy^'ŵď, - 1 - adu-11tKP ϭ^.^September 202ϰ Driving tool Description Field of the invention The invention relates to a driving tool and a driving screw stop tool. Background and general description of the invention The technical field of connection technology is in constant development. Portable devices in particular, with which fasteners can be driven into a structure, are available on the market in a wide variety of versions and are used in tough, continuous operation. Especially when large objects have to be fastened, or when the same type of fastening has to be made using the same fastening tools, such as constantly recurring screw connections, it can be tedious to always set a similar screw connection. The present description also deals with reducing the working time required for driving a fastener, as well as with reducing sources of error and reducing the potential error rate, in order to ultimately provide an even more satisfactory result for the user. Specifically, the present invention solves a still existing problem in a particularly elegant way of providing a uniform connection quality for a large number of similar screw connections. One object of the present invention can therefore be seen in providing an improved device for driving fasteners into a workpiece or a surface. In one aspect of the present description, the aforementioned problems and challenges are solved and improvements thereto are presented.ĂĚƵŶŽy^'ŵď, - 2 - ĂĚƵ^ϭϭtKW^ ϭ^^^^ĞƉƚĞŵďĞƌ^ϮϬϮϰ The object of the invention is achieved by the subject matter of the independent patent claims. Dependent claims form further developments. A driving screw stop tool for a driving device according to the present invention has a drive that can be driven by the driving device and a tool holder for holding a driving tool or a connector, prepared for driving the connector into a workpiece until a screw stop condition is reached. A frequently used example of a connector is a screw. A driving tool or tool is, for example, a screwdriver bit arranged or arrangeable in the device, which can be inserted into a corresponding holder in order to be able to fit precisely into fastener heads. A prominent example of this is a Torx or Philips screwdriver. If necessaryThe driving screw-stop tool can be designed so that the connectors can be inserted directly into the driving screw-stop tool, i.e., without the use of a separate tool. This can be advantageous if the intention is not to use different fastener heads, but rather to always screw in heads of the same type. The use of an interchangeable tool is known, particularly using different screwdriver bits. In one example, Torx screws size 20 can be driven first, and after changing the tool, Philips screws size PH2 can be driven in a next step using the same driving screw-stop tool. The driving screw-stop tool is designed to automatically stop driving when the screw-stop condition is reached. The screw stop condition can, for example, be that the fastener head comes into contact with the workpiece, or is sunk a pre-definable depth into the workpiece. In a particularly interesting case, a sealing element is arranged on the fastener. The sealing element can be arranged on the shank of the fastener to be driven in, below the fastener head, so that the sealant seals the screw hole when the fastener is driven in. Such a sealing element can exert the sealing effect when it is clamped sufficiently tightly by the fastener head to the workpiece, but not too tightly so that the sealing element is not damaged by the connector or displaced outwards by the fastener head.In other words, the fastener must not be screwed too far into the workpiece, but also not too loosely, so that the sealing element can develop its full sealing effect. The screw stop condition can, for example, be the screw-in depth of the connector. The screw stop condition can also be the distance of the fastener head from the workpiece - this is particularly interesting in the case of the sealing element arranged below the fastener head. In other words, a distance of the head from the workpiece can be set as a condition so that screwing in the fastener automatically stops at the set distance. The set distance can, for example, correspond to a thickness of the sealing element, or can correspond to a thickness that corresponds to a compressed sealing element. In other words, the condition, i.e. the set distance, can correspond to the thickness of the sealing element less a compression discount. The screw stop condition can be adjusted using an adjustable screw stop. In other words, the moment at which the screw stop condition is reached can be set. This is advantageous when different sealing elements or connectors are being processed, and a different screw stop should be adjustable depending on the type of sealing element or connector. For example, one type of sealing element can be thicker, or one type of sealing element can be pressed more tightly against the workpiece than another type of sealing element, which would already shear off under such pressure or would not achieve the optimal sealing effect. For example, setting the screw stop condition can be adjusted by adjusting the screwing of the connector head so that the connector head is positioned more or less tightly against the workpiece before the screw stop condition is triggered. For example, the screw stop condition, in particular the distance of the connector head from the workpiece, can be adjustable in individual steps, for example in individual steps of 1 / 8 mm each, or 1 / 10 mm each, or 1 / 12 mm each, or comparable. A depth adjustment can be included for setting the screw stop. In other words, the time or the depth at which the screw stop condition is met and the driving-in process ends automatically can be set by means of the depth adjustment. In a preferred embodiment, the depth adjustment can have a screw stop sleeve. Alternatively or cumulatively, the depth adjustment can have a manipulable adjustment sleeve. Further alternatively or cumulatively, the depth adjustment can have an adjusting element, in particular a compressible adjusting element such as a helical spring, for adjusting the manipulable adjusting sleeve to the screw stop sleeve. The screw stop sleeve can preferably be connected to the drive so that the screw stop sleeve rotates with the drive when the drive is moved. For example, the drive is typically driven by the driving tool so that the screw stop sleeve rotates when the driving tool is in operation. Alternatively or cumulatively, the screw stop sleeve can have at least one inner driver for rotatingly driving the manipulable adjustment sleeve on the screw stop sleeve. Such a driver is preferably arranged on the inside, which advantageously eliminates the risk of injury when the screw stop sleeve rotates. A driver can be designed, for example, as a retaining lug, toothing, locking element, or rotating mechanism. The manipulable adjustment sleeve can have an external finger rest. Such a finger rest is designed to simplify the adjustment of the tool; it is therefore an adjustment handle. For example, the finger rest is designed as a constriction on the outside of the adjustment sleeve. Alternatively or cumulatively, the manipulable adjustment sleeve can have at least one counter-driver. The counter-driver is designed to cooperate with the driver of the screw stop sleeve. In other words, the counter-driver engages in the driver or coacts with the driver in such a way that when the screw stop sleeve is rotated by means of the driver and via the counter-driver, the adjustment sleeve also rotates. Alternatively or cumulatively, the manipulable adjustment sleeve can have at least one adjustment stop. The adjustment stop can also be arranged on the screw stop sleeve. For example, the adjustment stop can be designed to limit the adjustment range of the adjustment sleeve. In other words, the adjustable depth adjustment can be configured such that the screw stop condition is adjusted by adjusting the adjustment sleeve in the axial direction along the driving screw stop tool. For example, this can be used to shorten or lengthen the adjustment path for the tool holder, via which the connector is driven in, or from which point onwards the connector is automatically no longer driven in by the driving screw stop tool. The adjustment element can preferably be configured to adjust the adjustment sleeve against the screw stop sleeve over the entire adjustment range of a closed position of the depth adjustment. In a closed position of the depth adjustment, the manipulable adjustment sleeve can be adjusted or held against the screw stop sleeve, for example in the direction of the driving tool.Furthermore, the adjustment sleeve can be designed so as to be rotationally fixed relative to the screw stop sleeve in the closed position. This can be configured such that it is "carried along" by the screw stop sleeve during a rotational movement. Alternatively or cumulatively, in an adjustment position of the depth adjustment, the manipulable adjustment sleeve can be positioned away from the screw stop sleeve, for example in the direction of the tool holder or tool. In the adjustment position, the adjustment sleeve is preferably rotatable relative to the screw stop sleeve. Thus, rotating the adjustment sleeve relative to the screw stop sleeve can bring about an adjustment of the depth adjustment. In other words, the screw stop can be designed to bring about an adjustment of the depth adjustment by rotating the adjustment sleeve relative to the screw stop sleeve in the adjustment position. To adjust the depth adjustment, all you have to do is put the adjustment sleeve away from the screw stop sleeve or push it away, after which the screw stop can be adjusted. Furthermore, the screw stop can include a tamper protection to at least temporarily prevent any adjustment of the depth adjustment. The tamper protection can be designed to be pluggable, so that it is plugged or clipped on next to the adjustment sleeve, for example, to prevent movement of the adjustment sleeve. The tamper protection can be designed as a plug-on ring or as a partial ring element. Alternatively, the adjustment sleeve can also include the tamper protection, for example designed as a fold-out stop. The driving screw stop tool can also include a front-side contact element for contact with the workpiece. The contact element can be bell-shaped.The contact element can have a contact element sliding bearing so that the contact element is freely rotatable relative to the drive. For example, this can make it possible to grip the contact element by hand during use. The contact element can be designed to cover a front part of the driving screw stop tool. For example, the contact element can also cover part of the mechanism so that it is protected from interference or damage. Furthermore, the front-side contact element can have a protective ring on the workpiece side. The protective ring can be designed to protect the contact element and, if necessary, can also be slightly compressible so that a certain tolerance is achieved with regard to an oblique application of the driving tool. A decoupler is also preferably included for decoupling the tool holder from the drive. In other words, the workpiece side can be mechanically separated from the driving tool side by means of the uncoupler. Further driving of the driving screw stop tool from the driving tool in the decoupled state then no longer leads to a rotational movement of the workpiece side. The driving screw stop tool can furthermore be configured such that when the tool is placed against the workpiece, the contact element comes into contact with the workpiece at or before a screw-in depth set using the screw stop is reached and triggers the screw stop. In other words, the positioning of the contact element against the workpiece can trigger the screw stop or prepare for the triggering of the screw stop. When the contact element is applied to the workpiece and the driving in of the connector continues, the uncoupler in particular can automatically release the tool holder from the drive. In an exemplary embodiment, the driving screw stop tool is always uncoupled as long as it is not applied to a workpiece. If the driving screw stop tool is applied to a workpiece or a surface, a contact force on the workpiece or the connector inserted into the driving screw stop tool can be converted into a coupled state, for example by a workpiece side of the uncoupler engaging with a driving tool side of the uncoupler. When the connector is driven far enough into the workpiece or surface, the contact element comes into contact with the workpiece or surface so that the driving screw stop tool can no longer be applied to the workpiece. However, the connector and the workpiece side of the uncoupler continue to engage as the driving tool is operated, so that the connector is driven further into the workpiece. The workpiece side of the uncoupler thereby moves visibly away from the driving tool side of the uncoupler, causing the two sides of the uncoupler to separate from one another. When the predefined or preset driving depth is reached, the uncoupler is triggered and separates the tool holder from the drive. Further driving of the connector is thus prevented. The present description also shows a driving tool, in particular a cordless screwdriver, which has a driving tool body ĂĚƵŶŽy^'ŵď, - 8 - ĂĚƵ^ϭϭtKW^ ϭ^^^^ĞƉƚĞŵďĞƌ^ϮϬϮϰ, and which is characterized by a combined driving-screw stop tool connected to the driving tool, in particular as described above, for driving connectors such as screws until a screw stop condition is reached, at which driving ends automatically. The driving tool can have a tool holder arranged in or on the driving tool body; in this case, the driving screw stop tool can be connected to the tool holder. The present description further includes a method for driving a connector using a driving tool as described above or with a driving screw stop tool as described above, and comprising the steps of inserting a tool or a connector into the tool holder of the driving screw stop tool, driving the connector into a workpiece using the driving screw stop tool until the screw stop condition is reached, at which the driving operation ends automatically. Before the screw stop condition is reached, the step of applying a contact element of the driving screw stop tool to the workpiece can be carried out, and continuing the driving of the connector after the contact element has applied to the workpiece.Alternatively or cumulatively, the step of setting the screw stop condition, in particular the screw-in depth, can be carried out by means of an adjustment. A driving axis is preferably formed from a driving device drive to the fastening means arranged on the front, the driving axis leading through the driving screw stop tool. For example, the driving axis intersects the driving screw stop tool centrally or along the force transmission axis. The fastening means are in particular screw means. Alternatively or cumulatively, the driving tool is a screw tool. The driving tool is preferably a screw tool, prepared for the rotating driving of the screw means into a workpiece or a surface. The driving screw stop tool can be designed as a single piece or as a single piece with the driving tool. The invention is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments and with reference to the figures, wherein identical and similar elements are sometimes provided with the same reference numerals and the features of the various exemplary embodiments can be combined with one another. Brief description of the figures It shows: Fig. 1 side view of an embodiment of a driving screw stop tool, Fig. 2 side sectional view of an embodiment of a driving screw stop tool, Fig. 3 exploded view of an embodiment of a driving screw stop tool, Fig. 4 side view of a further embodiment of a driving screw stop tool, Fig. 5 perspective view of an embodiment of a driving screw stop tool, Fig. 6 side view of a driving device with an inserted driving screw stop tool. Detailed description of the invention Fig.Figure 1 shows a side view of a driving screw stop tool 10, which is designed to screw connectors 90 into a workpiece 70 until a screw stop condition is reached. A drive 30 of the driving screw stop tool 10 can be coupled to a driving device 80 (see Figure 6), so that the tool 10 is driven by the driving device 80. The driving screw stop tool 10 has a depth adjustment 8, by means of which the screw stop condition can be adjusted. In particular, this can be used to set a screw-in depth for the connector 90, at which the driving screw stop tool 10 automatically terminates the driving process. ĂĚƵŶŽy^'ŵď, - 10 - ĂĚƵ^ϭϭtKW^ ϭ^^^^ĞƉƚĞŵďĞƌ^ϮϬϮϰ The depth adjustment 8 has a screw stop sleeve 12 and an adjustment sleeve 14. By means of the finger rest 16, the adjustment sleeve 14 can be grasped and moved laterally along the driving axis 60 in the direction of the workpiece side 11.This moves the depth adjustment 8 from the closed position to the adjustment position. In the adjustment position, the adjustment sleeve 14 can be adjusted relative to the screw stop sleeve 12, i.e. it can be rotated while the screw stop sleeve 12 The driving screw stop tool 10 further comprises a contact element 18 which is designed to be placed against a workpiece 70. Furthermore, the contact element 18 is connected to the housing element 22, which together accommodate the front part 11 of the mechanism of the driving screw stop tool 10. The entire section consisting of the contact element 18 via the constriction 20 and the housing element 22 is arranged or mounted so that this part can be held in place during operation, for example when driving in a connector 90, and thus the entire driving tool 80 can be supported. Nevertheless, the depth adjustment 8 is secured in the closed position and cannot be accidentally adjusted during operation. This allows for very convenient and comfortable handling of the device without accidentally changing the depth adjustment 8 and thus the screw stop condition. A protective element 24, for example a plastic cap, is also arranged on the front 11 for a softer placement of the contact element 18 on a workpiece 70 or to protect the contact element 18. In the embodiments, the same reference numerals represent the same features, so that the features of the embodiments shown in the individual figures can be combined with each other and the feature described for one figure also applies to another figure, unless otherwise emphasized. Referring to Fig. 2, a driving screw stop tool is shown in a sectional view, whereby the internal mechanics are clearly visible. The adjusting sleeve 14 is adjusted by the adjusting element 26 against the screw stop sleeve 12 into the closed position, which is also shown here. The adjusting element 26 is implemented here as a spring element, which exerts a preload force on the adjusting sleeve 14 and adjusts it in a lateral direction along the drive axis 60 in the direction of the drive 30 against the screw stop sleeve 12. The adjusting element 26 is supported against a projection of the housing element 22. The projection of the housing element 22, in turn, encloses the stop piece 34. In this example, the stop piece 34 is formed integrally with the drive 30. An axis 42 is arranged, which drives the workpiece-side part 40 of the uncoupler 45 in the coupled state. For this purpose, the axis engages in axis receptacles 48 which are arranged on the front part 40 of the uncoupler 45. In order to be able to engage, in the embodiment shown the drive side with axis 42 is rotated by 90°, so that in the embodiment shown it can engage with both axis receptacles 48. It is also conceivable to provide a total of four axis receptacles 48, each arranged at a 90° angle to one another, instead of two axis receptacles 48, in order to further simplify the coupling of the uncoupler 45. Furthermore, on the workpiece-side part 40 of the uncoupler 45 there is a tool receptacle or connector receptacle 38, into which either a tool (for example a screwdriver bit) or directly a connector 90 such as a screw can be inserted. In the embodiment shown in Fig.In the decoupled state of the uncoupler 45 shown in Figure 2, the workpiece-side part 40 is positioned away from the drive-side part 41 by means of the spring element 36 shown, so that a distance remains between the axis 42 and the axis receptacles 48 and the axis 42 does not engage the axis receptacles 48. Referring to Figure 3, an exploded view of the components of a driving screw stop tool 10 is shown. This shows how the adjusting sleeve 14 acts on the adjusting nut 28, whereby the adjusting nut 28 can be moved along with the adjusting sleeve 14 in order to be adjusted axially along the driving axis 60 on the adjustment path 32 (thread path). By adjusting the adjusting element 28 along the drive-in axis 60, the relative position between the uncoupler 45 and the contact element 18 is adjusted. Thus, for example, if the drive-side part 39 of the uncoupler 45 is adjusted along the drive-in axis 60 in the direction of the workpiece 70, a connector 90 can also be driven further into the workpiece 70, since the axis 42 remains longer in the axis receptacle 48 before the uncoupler 45 separates. By finely adjusting the drive side 39 using the adjusting element 28, it is therefore possible to adjust how strongly the screw head 92 is pressed against the workpiece 70 when the connector 90 is driven into the workpiece 70. Fig. 3 shows the axis 42 aligned with the axis receptacle 48, so that it can be seen that when the drive-side part 39 is placed against the workpiece-side part 40 of the uncoupler 45, the axis 42 engages in the axis receptacle 48 and thus the coupled state is assumed, wherein the spreading force of the spring element 36 may have to be overcome in order to couple the parts 39, 40 together. Furthermore, Fig.3 clearly shows the interlocking of the adjustment sleeve 14 and the screw stop sleeve 12, with the counter-drivers 46 of the adjustment sleeve 14 engaging between the drivers 44 of the screw stop sleeve 12. During a rotary movement of the drive 30, during which the screw stop sleeve 12 arranged on the drive 30 also rotates, the adjustment sleeve 14 will therefore also rotate when the depth adjustment 8 is in the closed state. The drivers 44 and counter-drivers 46 can be toothed, or they can also be retaining lugs. By adjusting the adjustment sleeve 14 along the drive axis 60, i.e. moving it away from the screw stop sleeve 12, the toothing of the drivers 44 and counter-drivers 46 is released, so that the adjustment sleeve 14 can be freely rotated against the screw stop sleeve 12. Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of the driving screw stop tool 10, which additionally has a tamper protection device 50.The tamper protection device 50 prevents movement of the adjusting sleeve 14 in the direction of the driving axis 60. Thus, the adjusting sleeve 14 is securely held in the closed position, and accidental actuation of the depth adjustment 8 is reliably excluded. Referring to Fig. 5, the embodiment with tamper protection 50 is shown in a perspective view, wherein it is visible that the tool holder 38 is slightly behind the protective element twenty-four, so that when the driving-screw stop tool 10 is placed against a workpiece 70 and a compressive force is applied via the driving device 80 to the driving-screw stop tool 10, the tool holder 38 is displaced relative to the protective element 24 or the contact element 18 in the direction of the driving axis 60 or the workpiece 70.As soon as the contact element 18 (or, if inserted, the protective element 24) comes into contact with the workpiece 70, the drive 30, which is held rigidly relative to the contact element 18 by means of the adjustment element 28 and the contact element 18 connected thereto, can no longer be adjusted in the direction of the workpiece 70. The result is that the workpiece-side part 40 of the uncoupler 45 continues to move towards the workpiece 70 as the driving tool 80 continues to be operated, and when the connector 90 is driven in, it detaches from the drive-side part 39. Fig. 6 shows the driving screw stop tool 10 in an operating position arranged on a driving tool 80, wherein a connector 90, which has a sealing washer 94, is inserted with its connector head 92 into the tool holder 38 and is already partially driven into a workpiece 70. In the position shown, the uncoupler 45 is uncoupled. This occurs when no more force is exerted on the driving screw stop tool 10 in the direction of the driving axis 60, after which the spring element 36 separates the two parts 39, 40 of the uncoupler 45. As soon as the driving device drive 82 of the driving device 80 imparts a rotary movement to the driving screw stop tool 10, only the drive-side part 39 of the uncoupler 45 rotates, but not the workpiece-side part 40. When a force is applied in the direction of the driving axis 60, the uncoupler 45 is engaged, and the rotary movement is also transmitted to the workpiece-side part 40, whereby the tool holder 38 and the connector 90 arranged in the tool holder 38 also rotate. The connector 90 is driven further into the workpiece 70 until the contact element 18 comes to rest on the workpiece 70.Further adjustment of the drive-type part 39 of the decoupling device 45 along the drive axis 60 in the direction of the workpiece 70 is then no longer possible, since the contact element 18 prevents this. However, the workpiece-side part 40, with the connector 90, will continue to be adjusted just farther toward the workpiece 70 until the decoupling device 45 decouples. The set position of the adjustment element 28 defines the screw stop condition or the screw-in depth of the connector 90. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the embodiments described above are to be understood as examples, and the invention is not limited to them, but can be varied in many ways without departing from the scope of the claims.Furthermore, it is clear that the features, regardless of whether they are disclosed in the description, the claims, the figures, or otherwise, also individually define essential components of the invention, even if they are described together with other features. In all figures, the same reference numerals represent the same objects, so that descriptions of objects that may only be mentioned in one figure or at least not in all figures can also be applied to those figures and embodiments with respect to which the object is not explicitly described in the description.
