Description

Vibration-isolating member, outdoor unit, and vibration-isolating member mounting method

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a vibration-isolating member, an outdoor unit, and a method for attaching the vibration-isolating member.

[0002] It has been known to provide a vibration-damping member that suppresses vibration of the compressor during transportation to prevent damage to the compressor and the refrigerant piping connected to the compressor due to vibrations and shocks that occur during transportation (for example, Patent Document 1). Patent Document 1 discloses a vibration-damping cushion that can be detachably attached to prevent excessive vibration of the compressor when the outdoor unit is transported to an installation site. A plurality of such vibration-damping cushions are provided, and each is placed on a terminal block provided at the top of the outer surface of the compressor or on the top surface of the compressor.

[0003] Patent No. 6762421

[0004] However, in the outdoor unit described in Patent Document 1, multiple vibration-damping cushions are installed so as to come into contact with the front and rear surfaces of the compressor. Therefore, the vibration-damping cushions installed so as to come into contact with the rear surface of the compressor can get in the way of the compressor during installation, which can make installation work more complicated.

[0005] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to provide an anti-vibration member, an outdoor unit, and an installation method for an anti-vibration member that can improve the workability of installation work.

[0006] A vibration-damping member according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a vibration-damping member attached to an outdoor unit having a compression device that compresses a refrigerant and an adjacent member arranged adjacent to the compression device, and has a first opposing portion that extends in a predetermined direction and is provided in a gap formed between the compression device and the adjacent member and faces a first surface of the compression device, and a second opposing portion that extends in a transverse direction that intersects the predetermined direction and faces a second surface of the compression device, and is equipped with a vibration-damping portion that suppresses vibration of the compression device, and a support portion that supports the vibration-damping portion from below.

[0007] A method for installing a vibration-damping member according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a method for installing a vibration-damping member to an outdoor unit having a compression device that compresses a refrigerant and an adjacent member arranged adjacent to the compression device, wherein the vibration-damping member has a first surface opposing portion that extends in a predetermined direction and is provided in a gap formed between the compression device and the adjacent member and faces a first surface of the compression device, and a second surface opposing portion that extends in a transverse direction that intersects the predetermined direction and faces a second surface of the compression device, and has a vibration suppression portion that suppresses vibration of the compression device and a support portion that supports the vibration suppression portion from below, and includes an insertion step of inserting the first surface opposing portion into the gap from the predetermined direction, and a placement step of placing the vibration suppression portion on the support portion.

[0008] According to the present disclosure, the workability of installing vibration-damping members can be improved.

[0009] Fig. 1 is a front view showing an outdoor unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing an outdoor unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, illustrating a state in which a front panel has been removed; Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing a state in which a vibration-damping member has been attached to a compression device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing a vibration suppression portion of a vibration-damping member according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing a support portion of a vibration-damping member according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0031] The left front surface facing portion 32b is provided between the front surface of the compressor 10 and the machine room front panel 3cb (see FIG. 1). A surface 32ba of the left front surface facing portion 32b facing the compressor 10 faces and abuts against the front surface of the compressor 10. A portion of the surface 32ba facing the compressor 10 is curved to conform to the front surface of the compressor 10.

[0032] 3 and 5, the support portion 40 has a first pillar portion 41 and a second pillar portion 42 standing on the upper surface of the bottom panel 3b of the housing 3, and a connecting plate portion 43 connecting the first pillar portion 41 and the second pillar portion 42. The first pillar portion 41 and the second pillar portion 42 are arranged to be spaced a predetermined distance apart in the left-right direction. The first pillar portion 41 and the second pillar portion 42 are arranged to sandwich the compression device 10.

[0033] The first columnar portion 41 and the second columnar portion 42 are hollow members extending in the vertical direction. When the first columnar portion 41 and the second columnar portion 42 are cut along a horizontal plane, the cross section is substantially triangular. [0037] Next, a method for transporting the outdoor unit 2 will be described. The outdoor unit 2 is transported with the vibration-isolating members 20 attached. Therefore, before transportation, the vibration-isolating members 20 are attached to the outdoor unit 2 in a state where the machine room front panel 3cb has been removed (see FIG. 2). The method for attaching the vibration-isolating members 20 will be described later. After the vibration-isolating members 20 are attached, the machine room front panel 3cb is attached. The work of attaching the vibration-isolating members 20 is carried out, for example, in a factory or the like.

[0038] Next, the outdoor unit 2 is transported to the installation site by a transport vehicle or the like. Next, the outdoor unit transported to the installation site is installed. The vibration-damping member 20 is removed from the installed outdoor unit 2. The removed vibration-damping member 20 is discarded on site. The removed vibration-damping member 20 may also be transported to a disposal site and discarded at the disposal site.

[0039] Next, a method for attaching the vibration-damping member 20 to the outdoor unit 2 will be described. First, as shown by the arrow in Figure 2, the support part 40 is attached from the front of the compressor device 10. At this time, the support part 40 is moved until the rear surface 43b of the connecting plate part 43 abuts against the front surface of the compressor device 10. With the rear surface 43b of the connecting plate part 43 abutting against the front surface of the compressor device 10, the first pillar part 41 and the second pillar part 42 of the support part 40 are erected relative to the bottom panel 3b.

[0040] Next, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2 , the vibration suppression unit 30 is attached from the front of the compressor 10. Specifically, first, the right side surface opposing portion 31a of the first vibration suppression unit 31 is inserted from the front into the gap formed between the right side surface of the compressor 10 and the partition wall 3g (insertion process). At this time, the first vibration suppression unit 31 is moved until the compressor 10-side surface 31ba of the right front surface opposing portion 31b abuts against the front surface of the compressor 10. With the compressor 10-side surface 31ba of the right front surface opposing portion 31b abutting against the front surface of the compressor 10, the first vibration suppression unit 31 is placed on the upper surface of the first column portion 41 (placement process). At this time, the right side surface opposing portion 31a is sandwiched between the right side surface of the compressor 10 and the partition wall 3g.

[0041] Next, the left side surface opposing portion 32a of the second vibration suppression portion 32 is inserted from the front into the gap formed between the left side surface of the compression device 10 and the water piping 11 (insertion process). At this time, the second vibration suppression portion 32 is moved until the surface 32ba of the left front surface opposing portion 32b facing the compression device 10 abuts against the front surface of the compression device 10. With the surface 32ba of the left front surface opposing portion 32b facing the compression device 10 abutting against the front surface of the compression device 10, the second vibration suppression portion 32 is placed on the upper surface of the second column portion 42 (placement process). At this time, the left side surface opposing portion 32a is sandwiched between the refrigerant piping 9 and the water piping 11, which are provided adjacent to the left side surface of the compression device 10.

[0042] In this manner, the vibration-damping member 20 is attached to the outdoor unit 2. The support portion 40 and the vibration suppression portion 30 may or may not be bonded together. When removing the vibration-damping member 20 from the outdoor unit 2, the above-described steps are performed in reverse order.

[0043] This embodiment provides the following advantageous effects: The piping (particularly the refrigerant piping 9) provided in the outdoor unit 2 according to this embodiment is formed to have elasticity so as to absorb vibrations in order to reduce noise, etc. Furthermore, since the legs of the compression device 10 are also provided with vibration-damping materials such as rubber, if the outdoor unit 2 is subjected to large vibrations during transportation, causing the compression device 10 to vibrate, the refrigerant piping 9 may also vibrate significantly in response to the vibrations of the compression device 10, potentially resulting in damage.

[0044] In this embodiment, the outdoor unit 2 is provided with the vibration-damping member 20, which suppresses vibration of the compression device 10 during transportation. Furthermore, vibration of the refrigerant pipes 9 caused by vibration of the compression device 10 is also suppressed, which suppresses damage to the refrigerant pipes 9.

[0045] Furthermore, since vibration of the compression device 10 is suppressed by providing the vibration-damping member 20, costs are reduced compared to when vibration is suppressed by changing the shape of the compression device 10, etc.

[0046] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a support portion 40 is provided that supports the vibration suppression portion 30 from below. As a result, the position of the vibration suppression portion 30 in the height direction is uniquely determined simply by supporting the vibration suppression portion 30 on the support portion 40. Therefore, the vibration suppression portion 30 can be easily installed at a predetermined height position. This improves the workability of installing the vibration-damping member 20.

[0047] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the installation height position of the vibration suppression unit 30 is determined according to the height of the support unit 40. By appropriately setting the height of the support unit 40, the vibration suppression unit 30 is installed at a desired height position. Therefore, the vibration suppression unit 30 is installed at a height position where the vibration of the compressor 10 is effectively suppressed. Therefore, the vibration of the compressor 10 is suitably suppressed.

[0048] In this embodiment, the vibration suppression unit 30 has right side surface facing portions 31a and left side surface facing portions 32a extending in the front-rear direction and right front surface facing portions 31b and left front surface facing portions 32b extending in the left-right direction. Thus, when the right side surface facing portions 31a and left side surface facing portions 32a are inserted from the front-rear direction into gaps formed between the compressor device 10 and adjacent components (such as the partition wall 3g and the water piping 11), the right front surface facing portions 31b and left front surface facing portions 32b face the front surface of the compressor device 10. Thus, the vibration suppression unit 30 is installed simply by inserting the right side surface facing portions 31a and left side surface facing portions 32a from the front into gaps formed between the compressor device 10 and adjacent components (such as the partition wall 3g and the water piping 11). Therefore, the vibration suppression unit 30 is easily installed, improving the workability of the vibration suppression unit 20 installation work.

[0049] Furthermore, after the outdoor unit 2 is installed, the vibration suppression unit 30 and the support unit 40 may be removed from the outdoor unit 2, and the removed vibration suppression unit 30 and support unit 40 may be disposed of. In this embodiment, the vibration suppression unit 30 and the support unit 40 are formed from cardboard, and therefore the removed vibration suppression unit 30 and support unit 40 can be disposed of more easily than when the vibration suppression unit 30 and the support unit 40 are formed from a metal material or the like.

[0050] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from cardboard, so the cost required for production is reduced compared to when the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from a metal material or the like.

[0051] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure. For example, in the above-described embodiments, the first vibration suppression unit 31 and the second vibration suppression unit 32 are separate bodies, but the first vibration suppression unit 31 and the second vibration suppression unit 32 may be integrated. Furthermore, in the above-described embodiments, the vibration suppression unit 30 and the support unit 40 are separate bodies, but the vibration suppression unit 30 and the support unit 40 may be integrated.

[0052] The vibration-isolating member, outdoor unit, and method of mounting the vibration-isolating member described in the above-described embodiment can be understood, for example, as follows.

[0053] The vibration-damping member according to the first aspect of the present disclosure is a vibration-damping member (20) attached to an outdoor unit (2) having a compression device (10) that compresses a refrigerant and an adjacent member (3g, 11) arranged adjacent to the compression device, and has a first surface opposing portion (31a, 32a) that extends in a predetermined direction and is provided in a gap formed between the compression device and the adjacent member and that opposes a first surface of the compression device, and a second surface opposing portion (31b, 32b) that extends in an intersecting direction that intersects the predetermined direction and that opposes a second surface of the compression device, and is equipped with a vibration suppression portion (30) that suppresses vibration of the compression device, and a support portion (40) that supports the vibration suppression portion from below.

[0054] In the above configuration, a support portion is provided that supports the vibration suppression portion from below. As a result, the heightwise position of the vibration suppression portion is uniquely determined simply by supporting the vibration suppression portion on the support portion. Therefore, the vibration suppression portion can be easily installed at a predetermined height position. This improves the workability of installing the vibration-damping member. Furthermore, in the above configuration, the installation height position of the vibration suppression portion is a position that corresponds to the height of the support portion. As a result, by appropriately setting the height of the support portion, the vibration suppression portion can be installed at a desired height position. Therefore, the vibration suppression portion is installed at a height position that can effectively suppress vibration of the compression device. Therefore, vibration of the compression device is suitably suppressed.

[0055] Furthermore, in the above configuration, the vibration suppression unit has a first surface opposing portion extending in a predetermined direction and a second surface opposing portion extending in a transverse direction. As a result, when the first surface opposing portion is inserted from the predetermined direction into a gap formed between the compressor device and an adjacent component, the second surface opposing portion faces the second surface of the compressor device. In this manner, the vibration suppression unit is installed simply by inserting the first surface opposing portion from the predetermined direction into the gap formed between the compressor device and an adjacent component. Therefore, the vibration-damping member is easily installed, improving the workability of the vibration-damping member installation work.

[0056] In the first aspect, the vibration suppressing portion and the supporting portion may be formed of cardboard.

[0057] After the outdoor unit is installed, the vibration suppression unit and the support unit may be removed from the outdoor unit, and the removed vibration suppression unit and support unit may be disposed of. In the above configuration, the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from cardboard, which makes it easier to dispose of the removed vibration suppression unit and support unit compared to when the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from a metal material or the like. Furthermore, in the above configuration, the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from cardboard, which reduces the cost required for production compared to when the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from a metal material or the like.

[0058] The outdoor unit according to a second aspect of the present disclosure comprises a compression device (10) that compresses a refrigerant, an adjacent member (3g, 11) that is arranged adjacent to the compression device, and a vibration-damping member (20) that suppresses vibration of the compression device, wherein the vibration-damping member has a first surface opposing portion (31a, 32a) that extends in a predetermined direction and is provided in a gap formed between the compression device and the adjacent member and that opposes a first surface of the compression device, and a second surface opposing portion (31b, 32b) that extends in an intersecting direction that intersects the predetermined direction and that opposes a second surface of the compression device, and further comprises a vibration-damping portion (30) that suppresses vibration of the compression device, and a support portion (40) that supports the vibration-damping portion from below.

[0059] In the second aspect, the vibration suppressing portion and the supporting portion may be formed of cardboard.
