Abstract
Description
Built-in Rawlplug
[0001] In this patent, the need for easy to install wall plugs or anchors is addressed in order to improve upon prior art and create a design that is both efficient and safe. The proposed method of installation no longer depends on drilling through layers of plaster and wallpaper. Instead it is done before any plastering or tiling has begun.
[0002] The installation of this dowel is performed by professionals in a similar manner to installing an electrical distribution box. The rawlplugs are placed at a distance of 20 cm under the ceiling and at a distance of 20 cm next to the windows to accommodate curtains. The process results in a neat finish where no layers are broken or damaged.
[0003] In this proposed solution, the wall plugs are sent to customers with their corresponding screws, so, in addition to simplifying the installation, there is no need to find and buy specific ones. The professionals who work with tiles and ceramics are responsible for installing these plugs and integrate them into the wall, so that they can support any extra weight on the fixtures.

[0006] WALL PLUG ANCHOR ASSEMBLY FOR MOUNTING IN A PREFORMED HOLE
[0007] The wall plug anchor assembly is applicable to heavy-duty and reinforced concrete and the like, of a construction component such as a wall and the like environments. The wall plug anchor assembly includes a metallic sleeve having a head of a respectively greater diameter than the sleeve body, of a metallic material, such as a plastically deformable steel of German steel quality ST 34 or ST 37, and wedge means for permanently modifying the sleeve at a location remote from the crown end thereof, particularly to permanently modify the transverse cross-sectional dimension of the sleeve, for example to enlarge the diameter by plastic deformation of the sleeve walls.
[0008] This mentioned invention involves the installation of a wall plug anchor in a preformed hole while our claimed patent is about a method of wall plug installation which uses no drilling. Even though they are both used in construction for anchoring purposes, their designs and methods are completely different.

[0014] IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO WALL PLUGS
[0015] A wall plug in combination with a capsule containing a setting agent for the wall plug and adapted to be ruptured to release the setting agent during the insertion of a screw into the wall plug. The capsule 4 may be embedded in the wall plug 2 () or the capsule 10 may be received in a hole 8 (). The plug may have an outer wrapper of paper, foil or the like impermeable material. The material of the plug may be a mixture of plaster and hair (), the capsule containing no water, or the plug 6 may be made of asbestos fibre treated with a resin settable by reaction with one or more diamines (), the capsule containing a diamine reacting with the resin to harden the plug when expanded. The material of the capsule may be gelatinous or may be of thin glass or like frangible material. A length of wall plug material may comprise a number of capsules as described, which can be cut into individual wall plugs.
[0016] This inventions relates to improvements in the design of classic rawlplugs and involves a capsule that is released after insertion, while ours involves an installation process that needs no drilling and happens before the outer layers of plaster or tiling are done on the wall.

[0018] IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO FIXING DEVICES SUCH AS WALL-PLUGS
[0019] Wall plugs for use in hollow tiles, thin plaster boards, &c are made from thermoplastic synthetic resins such as methyl methacrylate, polystyrene, and polyvinyl acetatechloride, or from cellulose acetate.
[0020] This mentioned invention is similar to our claimed one in that they both aim to minimize damage to the wall caused by rawlplugs. However, they have different methods, as this one focuses on proposing new material, but ours is more about changing the installation process.
[0021] This invention revolutionizes the traditional method of installing fixtures on walls by introducing a built-in wall plug and an installation mthod that eliminates the need for drilling. Instead of creating unsightly holes in walls, the rawlplugs are inserted before the plastering and tiling process, ensuring a seamless and professional finish. Installed by professionals, the rawlplugs are strategically placed 20 cm below the ceiling and alongside windows for curtain rods. The corresponding screws are specifically designed to fit with the rawlplugs, guaranteeing a secure attachment. This innovative approach not only saves time and effort but also ensures that the correct screws are always used, eliminating the risk of damage or inefficiency.
[0022] Furthermore, the design of the rawlplugs can be customized to suit different needs, including variations in shape, size, and the number of holes. For instance, quadrangular rawlplugs are utilized beneath ceramic tiles, featuring a narrowed section near the screw entry point to preserve the aesthetics of the tiles. Professionals specializing in plaster and ceramics handle the installation of rawlplugs without the need for drilling. The rawlplug comprises essential components such as a chassis, base, rawlplug, a specifically designed bracket, and the embedded hole, ensuring a secure and durable mounting solution for a variety of fixtures and accessories.
[0023] A Rawlplug is a device used as a strap or anchor which was patented by Mr. John Joseph Rawlings in 1911 under the title rawlplug. The technical problem of this invention from the beginning was that it was necessary to drill the wall, which would destroy the plaster or ceramic tiles. Moreover, it is impossible not to use a hammer to fully insert the plug into the created hole, which sometimes causes the plug ends to bend and stick out and we are forced to cut it with a knife. As a result the anchors are damaged and we have to replace them, which causes financial damage and additional time and imposes an incomplete result on us. Not to mention the potential damage to the pipeplines when using a drill in the existing installation process, which causes structural and financial damage.
[0024] Moreover, placing the anchor in the hole in the wall, no matter how professionally it is done, creates a gap between the plug end and the base of the hole. This existing gap or dislocation causes the rawlplug to be loose which can be considered a defect in the matter of building engineering. In this innovative step, due to the huge difference in the shape of the rawlplug and the proposed way of placing them in the wall, all the defects mentioned above will be eliminated. Furthermore, there are limitations in the predominating round shape of rawlplugs and there are not many functional variations.
[0025] This new method not only omits the need to drill the wall and cause destruction but also consumes less time. Instead of having to push a small plug into the wall with difficulty, it is possible to place plugs as big as 21 cm long and 2 cm wide within a few seconds by mixing and integrating the relevant rawlplug with the plaster on the wall. A process which is exactly similar to placing the electrical distribution box within the wall. In this innovative solution there is no empty space between the plug end and the wall since the plaster completely fills the entire space, the highest possible strength is created. As a result, the loosening, curving and cutting of the end part of the rawlplugs will be completely unnecessary and the structural defects are resolved. Undoubtedly, this invention will bring other advantages that have not yet been identified after being recognized among the users. The main motivation behind this invention started when a lady fell from a ladder and unfortunately passed away while drilling the roof to insert a rawlplug.
[0026] Foretunately, with the proposed method of rawlplug insertion, the work will have to be done by a professional who is trained, so accidents and mishaps will be minimized. Among the other goals of this invention is spending less time in installing the rawlplugs and preventing damage while being structurally sound.Solution of Problem
[0027] In this claimed invention, there is no need to drill on the wall to place the rawlplug, because the insertion happens when the plastering operation has not yet been done. The built-in rawlplugs are installed by professionals in plaster or ceramic installation in a manner similar to the installation of the electrical distribution box. These rawlplugs can be placed at a distance of 20 cm under the ceiling and at a distance of 20 cm next to the windows in order to install curtains. The only parts that will be visible afterwards are the corresponding self-tapping screws inserted in the rawlplugs.
[0028] In fact, in this proposed solution, the rawlplugs are presented to the consumers along with the screws, so that in addition to facilitating the installation, there will not be a need to search for and buy the right screws. The corresponding screws will also be a tool that the professional installers will use to adjust the rawlplug placement. In this method of integrating the plugs into the wall, the professionals who work with plaster and ceramics will be responsible for installing the rawlplugs with no drills.
[0029] It is necessary to explain that single quadrangular rawlplugs will be used for placement under the ceramic tiles on the walls, and the narrowed part near the entry point of the screws is meant to minimize the distance between the tiles so as not to reduce the beauty of the tile work. Other than shape, the size and the number of embedded holes in the designed plugs can be modified to suit the need of the customer. The proposed rawlplug includes several components: 1. Chassis 2. Base 3. Rawlplug 4. Bracket 5. Rawlplug embedded hole. It can be made of any material that suits the needs of the consumer such as plastic or metal and It can be installed in plaster, concrete, tiled walls or any other sueface.
[0030] The brackets used in this design act as metal gaskets at the tip of the plug and provide extra support for the screws. A second bracket can be added to the design and act as a large gasket for variations as long as 50 cm with 13 embedded holes. This bracket is placed on the bases of the rawlplug and helps with stability and support for the adjustable screws. In the tested prototype, the rawlplug supports the weight of a 50 kg bag of cement because of this supporting gasket feature.
[0031] This rawlplug can be used for any type of wall fixture including but not limited to curtains, mirrors, cabinets, lights, hangers, televisions, air conditioning units and wall posts. Additionally, the design is very flexible and can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes, including the square or rectangular type, the L shaped typed, the bracketed version and it can feature any number of embedded holes according to the project's demands. The rawlplug pieces are adjustable therefore they can be changed or moved to suit the installation site and function.Advantage Effects of the Invention

[0067] The invention involves a built-in rawlplug designed to be embedded in the wall. To begin the installation, there is no need to drill the wall, because the proposed method of installation happens when the walls of the building are still bare and have not yet been plastered. The rawlplug is placed in the desired and pre-determined locations in the building by professionals in plastering and tiling, and the process will erase the need for drills. The only visible part of the contraption after the installation process is the embedded hole of the plug, so that the outside view remains neat. For instance, in order to fix kitchen cabinets to the wall, first the rawlplugs are fixed into the hollow bricks with a small amount of concrete, and then after the tiling, the cabinets are installed using self-tapping screws that are designed as corresponding parts with the rawlplug holes. With this method, it is not necessary to completely fill the hollow bricks with concrete and only a limited amount suffices. Saving on both concrete and workers and reducing the weight of the building is one of the merits of this plug.
[0068] It is necessary to explain that the rawlplugs used in ceramic covered walls is a small and delicate type of built-in single square plug that is placed between the lines of four tiles. The edges of the base are specifically made narrower so that the tiles will have a neat finish. Due to the placement of the rawlplug in a built-in manner, it will offer the highest possible support and there will be no gaps between the screw and the wall.
[0069] This built-in rawlplug can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes. The possibility of quadrangular plugs and also the possibility of placing a 21 cm piece that enables 4 roll plugs to be integrated together is unique to this invention. Existing rawlplugs usually have a diameter of less than one centimeter, and this invention has provided such a possibility for the first time in the world, to have such shapes and sizes to optimize their function.
[0070] This design has also greatly reduced the operation time of installing the rawlplugs. The installation method takes less than 40 seconds. Since our job is industrial turning and molding, a sample of the industrial mold as well as a sample of the built-in rawlplug have already been produced and tested in a 5-story building. The samples were implemented without any problems and the tested rawlplugs can easily bear a 50 kg bag of cement hanging from the ceiling.
[0071] [Pic 1] Here a three dimensional view of a variation of the claimed design is displayed.
[0072] [Pic 1]
[0073]
[0074] This invention will be very widely used in all types of residential, office, commercial, schools, hospital buildings where the wall fixtures need strong support. The installation of wall posts, which is important in creating stability and support in any construction can benefit from this built-in rawlplug. For instance, post brackets in projects that use a mix of concrete and wood or any other combination can be more efficient using this invention.
