Description

Scroll fluid machinery

[0001] The present invention relates to a scroll fluid machine, and more particularly, to a scroll fluid machine capable of cooling both a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll by allowing a cooling fluid to flow directly between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll without using an external cooling fluid connecting pipe such as a hose, tube or pipe.

[0002] Typically, scroll fluid machines include scroll vacuum pumps and scroll air compressors.

[0003] These scroll fluid machines include a fixed scroll fixed to a housing, an orbiting scroll that is engaged with the fixed scroll and rotates, a crankshaft that orbits the orbiting scroll, a motor that drives the crankshaft, and a cooling system that cools the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll.

[0004] The fixed scroll has a fixed wrap, and the orbiting scroll has an orbiting wrap, which engages with the fixed wrap. By orbiting the orbiting scroll with respect to the fixed scroll, the compression space formed between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap gradually decreases in size as it moves toward the center, thereby compressing the working fluid (e.g., air, refrigerant, etc.). The compressed working fluid is discharged through a discharge port formed at the center of the fixed scroll and supplied to the required location.

[0005] Figures 24 and 25 illustrate examples of conventional scroll fluid machines having two types of cooling systems developed by the inventors.

[0006] Referring to FIGS. 24 to 25, a scroll fluid machine includes a housing (10), a fixed scroll (20) fixed to a front end surface of the housing (10), a rotating scroll (30) rotatably accommodated within the housing (10), and a crankshaft (40) rotatably supported on the housing (10) and having an eccentric shaft (42) connected to the rotating scroll (30).

[0007] An output shaft of a driving source, such as a motor (not shown), is coupled to the crankshaft (40). In addition, a casing that accommodates the driving source is coupled to the rear end surface of the housing (10).

[0008] The axis (X2) of the eccentric shaft (42) is misaligned with respect to the rotation axis (X1) of the crank shaft (40) by an eccentric amount (Y1). The turning scroll (30) is rotatably supported on the eccentric shaft (42) through a bearing (52), and the crank shaft (40) is rotatably supported on the housing (10) through a bearing (54).

[0009] The fixed scroll (20) has a fixed wrap (20a), and the orbiting scroll (30) has an orbiting wrap (30a). The wrap (30a) of the orbiting scroll (30) is engaged with the wrap (20a) of the fixed scroll (20) with a phase difference of 180°. Therefore, several compressed spaces (28) sealed in a crescent shape are formed between the wrap (20a) of the fixed scroll (20) and the wrap (30a) of the orbiting scroll (30).

[0010] The rotary scroll (30) is supported so that it cannot rotate but can only rotate by means of an unillustrated rotation-preventing idler mechanism.

[0011] As the rotating scroll (30) rotates, the compression spaces (28) move toward the center of the fixed scroll (20) and their volumes are reduced, thereby compressing the working fluid. The compressed working fluid is discharged through the discharge port (22) formed at the center of the fixed scroll (20) and sent to the intended use.

[0012] In order to seal the compression spaces (28), tip seals (20b, 30b) are provided on the end faces of the fixed wrap (20a) and the rotating wrap (30a). However, as the compression operation progresses, the tip seals (20b, 30b) generate heat by friction with the opposing scroll. The heat thus generated deteriorates the tip seals (20b, 30b), while increasing the temperature of the compressed fluid, thereby reducing the compression efficiency, and thus requiring cooling.

[0013] The cooling device illustrated in FIGS. 24 and 25 is configured to have a cooling chamber (C1) on the opposite side of the fixed wrap (20a) of the fixed scroll (20) and a cooling chamber (C2) on the opposite side of the rotating wrap (30a) of the rotating scroll (30).

[0014] As a coolant, pure water, pure water mixed with additives such as antifreeze or rust inhibitor, or other liquids with a cooling effect can be used.

[0015] In the cooling chamber (C1) on the side of the fixed scroll (20), an inlet fitting pipe (24) for supplying cooling fluid and an outlet fitting pipe (26) for discharging cooling fluid are installed. In addition, in the cooling chamber (C2) on the side of the rotating scroll (30), an inlet fitting pipe (32) for supplying cooling fluid and an outlet fitting pipe (34) for discharging cooling fluid are installed.

[0016] This is a structure in which a cooling chamber (C1) on the fixed scroll (20) side and a cooling chamber (C2) on the rotating scroll (30) side are provided with separate cooling fluid inlets and outlets, respectively. Therefore, separate cooling fluid supply and discharge lines must be provided for each cooling chamber (C1) and cooling chamber (C2), so the overall structure of the scroll fluid machine becomes complex and its size increases.

[0017] In addition, in the example shown in Fig. 24, a cooling fluid hose is connected to the inlet-side fitting pipe (24) and the outlet-side fitting pipe (26) on the fixed scroll (20) side, but the cooling fluid hose rotates together with the rotating movement of the fixed scroll (20) and the fitting pipes (24, 26), so there is a risk that the cooling fluid hose may be easily damaged due to fatigue.

[0018] In addition, in the example shown in Fig. 25, a separate rotation absorption mechanism (60) is installed to prevent rotational movement of the cooling fluid hose, thereby making the structure more complex and increasing the number of components, while also increasing the size.

[0019] The present invention was developed to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a scroll fluid machine that has a simple structure, a small size, and a low manufacturing cost, and is capable of cooling both a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll.

[0020] The above object of the present invention can be achieved by providing a scroll fluid machine having a simple structure in which an inlet and an outlet for a cooling fluid are provided on the fixed scroll side, and the cooling fluid flows directly through between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll.

[0021] Specifically, a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention comprises: a housing (100); a fixed scroll (200) fixed to a front end of the housing (100), having a fixed wrap (210) on a first surface (201) and a first cooling chamber (CC1) formed on a second surface (202); a orbiting scroll (300) rotatably installed inside the housing (100), having a orbiting wrap (310) formed on the first surface (301) to engage with the fixed wrap (210) of the fixed scroll (200) and to rotate, and a second cooling chamber (CC2) formed on the second surface (302); and a crank shaft (110) rotatably installed in the housing (100) and having an eccentric shaft (112) that rotates the orbiting scroll (300). The fixed scroll (200) is provided with a second inlet hole (IH-2) and a second discharge hole (OH-2) formed to penetrate across the first surface (201) and the second surface (202) of the fixed scroll (200) while maintaining a gap in the circumferential direction radially outside the outermost part of the fixed wrap (210), and the orbiting scroll (300) is provided with a third inlet hole (IH-3) formed to penetrate across the first surface (301) and the second surface (302) of the orbiting scroll (300) while communicating with the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the second discharge hole (OH-2), respectively. It is characterized by having a first discharge hole (OH-1).

[0022] In a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200) is partitioned into an inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and a discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) by a partition wall (240) crossing the first cooling chamber (CC1); the second inlet hole (IH-2) is located in the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1), and the second discharge hole (OH-2) is located in the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2); the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300) is partitioned into an inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) corresponding to the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and a discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) corresponding to the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) by a partition wall (340); The third inlet hole (IH-3) is located in the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1), and the first discharge hole (OH-1) is located in the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2); and a connecting passage (342) connecting the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) is formed in the partition wall (340) of the rotating scroll (300).

[0023] In the scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, the diameter and position of each of the third inlet hole (IH-3) and the first discharge hole (OH-1) of the orbiting scroll (300) are set such that a circumferential orbital trajectory (P2) drawn by the outermost points of the third inlet hole (IH-3) and the first discharge hole (OH-1) according to the orbiting movement of the orbiting scroll (300) is positioned radially inside the inner diameter of the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0024] In the scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, a plurality of cooling fins (250) are formed in each of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the fixed scroll (200), and a plurality of cooling fins (350) are formed in each of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the orbiting scroll (300).

[0025] In a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, an annular seal groove (251, 252) is formed on the first surface (201) of the fixed scroll (200) radially outside the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the second discharge hole (OH-2), and a seal (261, 262) is installed in the seal groove (251, 252) to block leakage of cooling fluid by being in close contact with the first surface (301) of the orbiting scroll (300).

[0026] In the scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, the fixed scroll (200) side is provided with a first inlet hole (IH-1) for supplying cooling fluid from a cooling fluid supply source to the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1), and a third discharge hole (OH-3) for returning cooling fluid from the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) to the cooling fluid supply source.

[0027] In a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, a first cover plate (400) is further provided to cover and seal the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200), and a first inlet hole (IH-1) is formed through the first cover plate (400) to supply cooling fluid from a cooling fluid supply source to the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1), and a third discharge hole (OH-3) is formed through the first cover plate (400) to return cooling fluid from the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) to the cooling fluid supply source.

[0028] In a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, it is characterized by having a second cover plate (500) that covers and seals a second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300), and a connecting plate (600) having one side joined to the second cover plate (500) and an eccentric shaft (112) of a crank shaft (110) connected to the opposite side.

[0029] According to the scroll fluid machine according to the present invention, a cooling fluid line having a simple structure is formed so that the cooling fluid flows directly through the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, thereby allowing the cooling fluid to flow directly through the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll without using an external cooling fluid connection line such as a hose, tube, or pipe.

[0030] Therefore, only two inlets and outlets for the cooling fluid are required (previously, four were required), and the structure of the scroll fluid machine including the cooling fluid line is simplified, and a compact scroll fluid machine with low manufacturing and maintenance costs can be realized.

[0031] In addition, since there is no need for a cooling fluid line, such as a pipe or tube for introducing and discharging cooling water to the orbiting scroll, there is no problem with the cooling fluid line being damaged, and a separate device (e.g., a conventional orbital absorber) for absorbing the movement of the cooling fluid line as it rotates along the orbiting scroll is unnecessary.

[0057] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0058] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention includes a housing (100), a crank shaft (110), a fixed scroll (200), and a rotating scroll (300).

[0059] The scroll fluid machine according to the present invention may further include a first cover plate (400), a second cover plate (500), and a connecting plate (600).

[0060] The fixed scroll (200) is fixed to the front end of the housing (100). The fixed scroll (200) has a first surface (201) facing the rotary scroll (300) and a second surface (202) opposite the first surface (201).

[0061] A fixed wrap (210) is provided on the first surface (201) of the fixed scroll (200), and a first cooling chamber (CC1), which is a cooling fluid space, is formed on the second surface (202).

[0062] The cooling fluid indirectly cools the fixed wrap (210) of the first surface (201) by cooling the second surface (202) in the first cooling chamber (CC1).

[0063] The pivoting scroll (300) is pivotally installed inside the housing (100). The pivoting scroll (300) has a first surface (301) facing the first surface (201) of the fixed scroll (200), and a second surface (302) opposite the first surface (301).

[0064] A rotating wrap (310) is provided on the first surface (301) of the rotating scroll (300), and a second cooling chamber (CC2), which is a cooling fluid space, is formed on the second surface (302).

[0065] The rotating wrap (310) of the rotating scroll (300) is engaged with the fixed wrap (210) of the fixed scroll (200) with a phase difference of 180 degrees and performs a rotating movement.

[0066] The fixed scroll (200) has a discharge port (220) formed in its center. The discharge port (220) penetrates the central portion of the fixed wrap (210). The working fluid compressed by the fixed wrap (210) and the rotating wrap (310) is discharged through the discharge port (220) and supplied to a required location.

[0067] Next, the crank shaft (110) has an eccentric shaft (112). The crank shaft (110) is rotatably supported in the housing (100) via a first bearing (130).

[0068] The second surface (302) of the orbiting scroll (300) is rotatably supported on an eccentric shaft (112) via a second bearing (140). Therefore, the orbiting scroll (300) performs a orbiting motion by the rotation of the eccentric shaft (112).

[0069] In addition, the housing (100) is provided with an anti-rotation idler mechanism (120) (illustrated in FIG. 3). This anti-rotation idler mechanism (120) supports three points of the orbiting scroll (300) by an idler shaft having an axis (not shown) whose center axis is misaligned by the amount of eccentricity of the eccentric shaft (112). Accordingly, the orbiting scroll (300) cannot rotate and can only perform a rotational motion.

[0070] A scroll fluid machine according to the present invention has a cooling fluid circulation path that allows cooling fluid to directly pass through and circulate between a first cooling chamber (CC1) of a fixed scroll (200) and a second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300).

[0071] Specifically, the fixed scroll (200) has a second inlet hole (IH-2) and a second discharge hole (OH-2) formed penetrating across the first surface (201) and the second surface (202).

[0072] The second inlet hole (IH-2) and the second discharge hole (OH-2) are formed with a circumferential gap radially outside the outermost edge of the fixed wrap (210).

[0073] The rotary scroll (300) has a third inlet hole (IH-3) and a first discharge hole (OH-1) formed penetrating across the first surface (301) and the second surface (302).

[0074] The third inlet hole (IH-3) of the orbiting scroll (300) communicates with the second inlet hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200). The second discharge hole (OH-2) of the orbiting scroll (300) communicates with the first discharge hole (OH-1) of the orbiting scroll (300).

[0075] The cooling fluid introduced into the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200) passes through the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the third inlet hole (IH-3) and enters the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the rotating scroll (300).

[0076] The cooling fluid that enters the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the rotating scroll (300) passes through the first discharge hole (OH-1) and the second discharge hole (OH-2) and re-enters the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0077] According to one aspect of the present invention, the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200) may be configured to be open toward the second surface (202). In this case, a first cover plate (400) may be further provided to cover and seal the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0078] In this first cover plate (400), a first inlet hole (IH-1) for supplying cooling fluid from a cooling fluid supply source to a first cooling chamber (CC1) may be formed through the first cover plate (400), and a third discharge hole (OH-3) for returning cooling fluid from a second cooling chamber (CC2) to the cooling fluid supply source may be formed through the first cover plate (400).

[0079] Meanwhile, the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300) may be configured to be open toward the second surface (302). In this case, a second cover plate (500) may be further provided to cover and seal the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300).

[0080] In this case, the orbiting scroll (300) is connected to the eccentric shaft (112) of the crank shaft (110) through the second cover plate (500). The second cover plate (500) can be fastened to the orbiting scroll (300) by means such as bolts. In addition, in order to simplify the workability and assembling of the second cover plate (500) while preventing leakage of fluid (cooling fluid and working fluid), the second cover plate (500) can be connected to the eccentric shaft (112) through an intermediary member called a connecting plate (600). At this time, the connecting plate (600) is connected to the eccentric shaft (112) by the support of the second bearing (140) and is fastened to the second cover plate (500) by means such as bolts.

[0081]

[0082] Next, with reference to FIGS. 7 to 11, the fixed scroll (200) according to the present invention will be described in detail.

[0083] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the first cooling chamber (CC1) of the fixed scroll (200) is partitioned into an inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and a discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) by a partition wall (240) crossing the middle portion of the first cooling chamber (CC1). By partitioning the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) by the partition wall (240), the inlet and discharge paths of the cooling fluid can be clearly distinguished, and the inlet cooling fluid and the discharged cooling fluid are prevented from mixing.

[0084] The second inlet hole (IH-2) is located in the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1), and the second discharge hole (OH-2) is located in the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2).

[0085] In this case, it is preferable that the first inlet hole (IH-1) of the first cover plate (400) described above is located in the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1), and the third discharge hole (OH-3) is located in the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) (see FIGS. 1 to 4).

[0086] It is preferable that the first inlet hole (IH-1) of the first cover plate (400) and the second inlet hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) be located near the point that is furthest from each other within the space of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) (near the point where the furthest distance can be maintained) (see FIGS. 1 to 4). As a result, when the cooling fluid that has entered the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) through the first inlet hole (IH-1) flows toward the second inlet hole (IH-2), the fixed scroll (200) and the fixed wrap (210) can be uniformly cooled as a whole.

[0087] Likewise, it is preferable that the third discharge hole (OH-3) of the first cover plate (400) and the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) be located near the point that is furthest from each other within the space of the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) (near the point where the furthest distance can be maintained) (see FIGS. 1 to 4). As a result, when the cooling fluid flowing into the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) through the second discharge hole (OH-2) flows toward the third discharge hole (OH-3), the fixed scroll (200) and the fixed wrap (210) can be uniformly cooled as a whole.

[0088] Meanwhile, a plurality of cooling fins (250) are formed in each of the inlet side cooling chamber (CC1-1) and the outlet side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0089] A plurality of cooling fins (250) may be formed so that their longitudinal direction coincides with the flow direction of the cooling fluid. Alternatively, the cooling fins (250) may be formed so that their longitudinal direction intersects with the flow direction of the cooling fluid, thereby forming a labyrinthine flow path.

[0090] Next, as shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, annular seal grooves (251, 252) are formed on the first surface (201) of the fixed scroll (200) radially outward from the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the second discharge hole (OH-2), respectively.

[0091] A seal (261, 262) is installed in each seal groove (251, 252).

[0092] The seal (261, 262) is in close contact with the first surface (301) of the rotating scroll (300) to prevent leakage or mixing of the cooling fluid and the working fluid.

[0093] The seal (261, 262) can be made of rubber material, felt material, etc.

[0094]

[0095] Next, the rotary scroll (300) will be specifically described with reference to FIGS. 12 to 16.

[0096] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the orbiting scroll (300) is partitioned into an inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and a discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) by a partition wall (340) that crosses the middle of the second cooling chamber (CC2). By partitioning the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) by the partition wall (240), the inlet and discharge paths of the cooling fluid can be clearly distinguished, and the inlet cooling fluid and the discharged cooling fluid do not mix.

[0097] The inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) corresponds to the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) of the fixed scroll (200), and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) corresponds to the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0098] At this time, the third inlet hole (IH-3) is located in the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1), and the first discharge hole (OH-1) is located in the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2).

[0099] The third inflow hole (IH-3) of the rotating scroll (300) communicates with the second inflow hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) described above.

[0100] The first discharge hole (OH-1) of the rotating scroll (300) is connected to the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) described above.

[0101] In addition, a connecting passage (342) is formed in the partition wall (340) of the rotating scroll (300) to connect the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2). Through the connecting passage (342), the cooling fluid introduced into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) can flow into the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2).

[0102] The connecting passage (342) is formed near a point far from the third inlet hole (IH-3) and the first discharge hole (OH-1). As a result, the cooling fluid introduced into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) through the third inlet hole (IH-3) flows toward the connecting passage (342), and then flows from the connecting passage (342) toward the first discharge hole (OH-1), thereby uniformly cooling the entire orbiting scroll (300) and the orbiting wrap (310).

[0103] Meanwhile, a plurality of cooling fins (350) are formed in each of the inlet side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and the outlet side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the rotating scroll (300).

[0104] A plurality of cooling fins (350) may be formed so that their longitudinal direction coincides with the direction in which the cooling fluid flows. Alternatively, the cooling fins (350) may be formed so that their longitudinal direction intersects with the direction in which the cooling fluid flows, thereby forming a labyrinthine flow path.

[0105]

[0106] Next, FIG. 17 shows a drawing for explaining the relationship between the cooling fluid inlet and discharge holes (second inlet hole (IH-2) and second discharge hole (OH-2)) of the fixed scroll (200) according to the present invention and the cooling fluid inlet and discharge holes (first inlet hole (IH-1) and third discharge hole (OH-3)) of the orbiting scroll.

[0107] The diameter and position of the third inflow hole (IH-3) of the rotating scroll (300) relative to the second inflow hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) are set as follows.

[0108] That is, the circular rotational trajectory (P2) drawn by the outermost point of the third inflow hole (IH-3) according to the rotational movement of the rotational scroll (300) is set to be located radially inside the inner diameter of the second inflow hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0109] This configuration is advantageous in preventing damage to the seal (261), preventing leakage of cooling fluid, and ensuring smooth flow of cooling fluid by preventing the third inflow hole (IH-3) from leaving the second inflow hole (IH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) even when the third inflow hole (IH-3) rotates.

[0110] Similarly, the diameter and position of the first discharge hole (OH-1) of the rotating scroll (300) relative to the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) are set as follows.

[0111] That is, the circular rotational trajectory (P2) drawn by the outermost point of the first discharge hole (OH-1) according to the rotational movement of the rotational scroll (300) is set to be located radially inside the inner diameter of the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0112] This configuration is advantageous in preventing damage to the seal (262), preventing leakage of cooling fluid, and ensuring smooth flow of cooling fluid by preventing the first discharge hole (OH-1) from leaving the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) even when the first discharge hole (OH-1) rotates.

[0113]

[0114] Next, FIGS. 18 to 23 illustrate drawings for explaining the cooling fluid circulation process in a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention. These drawings are described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 6.

[0115] Fig. 18 illustrates the overall cooling fluid circulation process in a scroll fluid machine according to the present invention. In the direction of the arrows in Fig. 18, the first figure shows the front view of the first cover plate (400), the second figure shows the second surface (202) of the fixed scroll (200), the third figure shows the second surface (302) of the orbiting scroll (300), the fourth figure shows the second surface (202) of the fixed scroll (200), and the fifth figure is a drawing showing the front view of the first cover plate (400).

[0116] Referring to FIG. 18, FIG. 19 and FIG. 5 together, a cooling fluid line (hose or pipe) from a cooling fluid supply source (not shown) will be connected to the first inlet hole (IH-1) and the third discharge hole (OH-3) of the first cover plate (400).

[0117] The cooling fluid supplied along the cooling fluid line flows into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) of the fixed scroll (200) located immediately behind the first inlet hole (IH-1) of the first cover plate (400). The cooling fluid flowing into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) is blocked by the partition wall (240) and cannot enter the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2).

[0118] Referring to FIGS. 18, 20, and 5 together, the cooling fluid introduced into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) through the first inlet hole (IH-1) as described above flows toward the second inlet hole (IH-2). In order to uniformly cool the fixed scroll (200) and the fixed wrap (210) as a whole, the second inlet hole (IH-2) and the first inlet hole (IH-1) are formed near the point furthest from the air within the space of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) (near the point where the greatest distance can be maintained).

[0119] In the process of the cooling fluid flowing from the first inlet hole (IH-1) to the second inlet hole (IH-2), the heat of the cooling fluid is transferred to the bottom surface of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC1-1) (i.e., the second surface (202) of the fixed scroll (200)) and the fixed wrap (210) formed on the opposite surface (the first surface (201)) through the cooling fins (250), thereby cooling it.

[0120] The cooling fluid that has moved to the second inflow hole (IH-2) passes through the third inflow hole (IH-3) of the rotating scroll (300) that is in communication with the second inflow hole (IH-2).

[0121] Referring to FIG. 18, FIG. 21 and FIG. 5 together, the cooling fluid that has passed through the third inlet hole (IH-3) flows into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) of the rotating scroll (300) in which the third inlet hole (IH-3) is formed.

[0122] A partition wall (340) that divides the second cooling chamber (CC2) of the rotating scroll (300) into an inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) and an outlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-2) has a connecting passage (342) formed at a point far from the third inlet hole (IH-3). The connecting passage (342) may be formed in the form of a portion of the partition wall (340) cut away, as in the example illustrated in the drawing, or in the form of a hole formed in the partition wall (340).

[0123] Accordingly, the cooling fluid flowing into the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) of the rotating scroll (300) flows toward the connecting passage (342) of the partition wall (340) and then flows into the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC2-2).

[0124] The cooling fluid flowing into the discharge side cooling chamber (CC2-2) flows toward the first discharge hole (OH-1) formed near a point far from the connecting passage (342).

[0125] In the process of the cooling fluid flowing from the third inlet hole (IH-3) toward the connection passage (342) and from the connection passage (342) toward the first discharge hole (OH-1), the heat of the cooling fluid is transferred to the bottom surface of the inlet-side cooling chamber (CC2-1) (i.e., the second surface (202) of the rotating scroll (300)) and the rotating wrap (310) formed on the opposite surface (the first surface (301)) through the cooling fins (350), thereby cooling it.

[0126] The cooling fluid flowing toward the first discharge hole (OH-1) of the rotating scroll (300) passes through the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) which is in communication with the first discharge hole (OH-1).

[0127] That is, referring to FIG. 18, FIG. 22 and FIG. 6 together, the cooling fluid exiting the first discharge hole (OH-1) passes through the second discharge hole (OH-2) of the fixed scroll (200) and flows into the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) of the fixed scroll (200).

[0128] The cooling fluid introduced into the discharge side cooling chamber (CC1-2) flows toward the third discharge hole (OH-3) located near a point far from the second discharge hole (OH-2).

[0129] In the process of the cooling fluid flowing from the second discharge hole (OH-2) toward the third discharge hole (OH-3), the heat of the cooling fluid is transferred to the bottom surface of the discharge-side cooling chamber (CC1-2) (i.e., the second surface (202) of the fixed scroll (200)) and the fixed wrap (210) formed on the opposite surface (the first surface (201)) through the cooling fins (250), thereby cooling it.

[0130] Referring to FIG. 18, FIG. 23 and FIG. 6 together, the cooling fluid that has moved to the third discharge hole (OH-3) is discharged to the outside of the first cover plate (400) through the third discharge hole (OH-3) and returned (recovered) to the cooling fluid supply source through the cooling fluid line.

[0131] In this way, the scroll fluid machine according to the present invention has a configuration in which an inlet hole and an outlet hole are formed in the fixed scroll (200) and the orbiting scroll (300) to directly penetrate between the first cooling chamber (CC1) and the second cooling chamber (CC2), thereby allowing the cooling fluid to flow through a simple and direct path.

[0132] According to this, there is an advantage in that the connection structure of the cooling fluid flow line between the fixed scroll (200) and the rotating scroll (300) is simplified. In addition, there is no need to use an external cooling fluid connection pipe such as a hose, tube, or pipe.

[0133] In addition, only two inlets and outlets for the cooling fluid need to be installed, one each for the fixed scroll (200) (previously, four in total were required, two each for the fixed scroll (200) and the rotating scroll (300).

[0134] Therefore, the structure of the scroll fluid machine including the cooling fluid line is simplified.

[0135] Furthermore, if the structure of the cooling fluid flow line between the fixed scroll (200) and the orbiting scroll (300) is simplified as described above, the number of parts, manufacturing cost, and maintenance cost of the scroll fluid machine can be reduced. In addition, a compact-sized scroll fluid machine can be realized.

[0136] In addition, the cooling fluid line (hose or pipe) for supplying cooling fluid from the supply source is not connected to the moving orbiting scroll (300) side, but only to the stationary fixed scroll (200) side. Therefore, since there is no need to connect the cooling fluid line to the orbiting scroll (300), the problem of the cooling fluid line rotating together or being damaged thereby fundamentally does not occur.

[0137]

[0138] The above has illustrated and described specific preferred embodiments of the present invention. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and anyone skilled in the art will be able to make various modifications without departing from the scope of the invention as claimed in the claims.
