Abstract

The subject matter of the present invention is a mechanism for cutting, subsoiling and scarifying the soil which seeks to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by combining a pair of cutting discs (20) with a scarifying shank or subsoiling shank (40) which is provided with a support (30) and is positioned interiorly, with the aim of breaking the mirror cut of the discs, breaking up the soil and causing its particles to become loose and soft, creating a planting furrow suitable for accommodating seeds and providing them with the best possible environment for germination. This new construction improves the conditions for plant root development, improving fertiliser distribution and anticipating the time of planting, even in soils that are still wet, for better utilisation, as well as contributing to a significant increase in production in the planted area.
