The seat structure is basically categorized into parts, which are a base portion and a backrest portion. The base portion of the seat structure is provided to support the buttocks of the user and the backrest portion of the seat structure is provided to support the back. A variety of cushion materials is embedded in the base portion and the backrest portion of the seat structure to provide comfort to the user.
[0004] Typically, the conventional seating structures are manufactured based on standard sizes. However, the body shapes and sizes of users are different, therefore the conventional seating structure is not capable of providing comfort to every user. Further, some conventional seating structures are provided with contour- shaped cushion materials, which are also ineffective in providing comfort to the body having different shapes and sizes. Due to uncomfortable seating / posture, the back pain may be raised in the user's body, and this pain may continue for a long time, which is undesirable.

These devices include adjustable elongated straps that are mounted on the back portion of the conventional seating structure. The adjustable straps are actuated through a crank and slider mechanism to be adjusted to provide back supportto the user. The deflated position (DF) may be referred to as a position of the spring member in which a portion of the spring member is shifted back to the preset position of the spring member from the inflated position (IF). The inflated position (IF) and the deflated position (DF) of the plurality of spring members (50) may be illustrated in Figure 9.

Claims
We claim:
1. A support assembly (100) for a seat (S) of a vehicle, the support assembly (100) comprising: a mounting plate (10) connected to a seat frame (SF) of the seat (S); a cam (30) rotatably mounted on the mounting plate (10); a plurality of followers (42) pivotally mounted on the mounting plate (10), wherein at least one portion of the plurality of followers (42) is engaged with a cam profile (32) of the cam (30), wherein the plurality of followers (42) is movable based on the movement of the cam (30); and a plurality of spring members (50) connected to the plurality of followers (42), wherein the plurality of spring members (50) is configured to be moved between an inflated position (IF) and a deflated position (DF) based on the movement of the plurality of followers (42) for comfort.
2. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein each spring member of the plurality of spring members (50) comprises one end connected to the seat frame (SF) and the other end connected to the plurality of followers (42).
3. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of followers (42) comprises a first follower (42a) and a second follower (42b), wherein the first follower (42a) and the second follower (42b) are pivotally mounted at a single mounting point (14) of the mounting plate (10).
4. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first follower (42a) and the second follower (42b) extend from the single mounting point (14) and define a first engagement portion (42c), and a second engagement portion (42d) respectively.

The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the first follower (42a) and the second follower (42b) are biased towards the cam (30) to keep the first engagement portion (42c) and the second engagement portion (42d) engaged with the cam profile (32) of the cam (30) through the plurality of spring members (50).
6. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cam profile (32) of the cam (30) is defined with at least one concave-shaped portion (34) and at least one convex-shaped portion (36).
7. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claims 4 and 6, wherein the first engagement portion (42c) and the second engagement portion (42d) are engaged with the concave- shaped portions (34) of the cam profile (32) at the deflated position (DF).
8. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claims 4 and 6, wherein the first engagement portion (42c) and the second engagement portion (42d) are engaged with the convex-shaped portions (36) of the cam (30) at the inflated position (IF).
9. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cam (30) comprises a protruding portion (30a) extending rearwards through a mounting hole (12) formed at the mounting plate (10) to mount a knob (20).
10. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the knob (20) is adapted to move the cam (30) in order to actuate the plurality of followers (42) for selectively moving the plurality of spring members (50) from the deflated position (DF) to the inflated position (IF) for comfort.
11. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of spring members (50) comprises a first spring member (50a) attached to the first follower (42a) and a second spring member (50b) attached to the second follower (42b).
12. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 11, wherein the first spring member (50a) is configured to be moved from the deflated position (DF) to the inflated position (IF) by rotating the knob (20) in a clockwise direction at 90° angle and the second spring member (50b) is configured to be moved from thedeflated position (DF) to the inflated position (IF) by rotating the knob (20) in an anticlockwise direction at 90° angle.
13. The support assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a cushion member (60) configured to be positioned between the plurality of spring members (50) and the seat frame (SF).
