Description

Work reception device, work reception method, work request system, and work reception program

[0001] The present invention relates to a work reception device, a work reception method, a work request system, and a work reception program. This invention claims priority to Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-193564, filed on November 14, 2023, and the contents of that application are incorporated by reference into this application in designated states where incorporation by reference of documents is permitted.

[0002] When cleaning hotels and other establishments (including various rooms, buildings, structures, signs, etc.), the cleaning content of the rooms being cleaned often changes depending on the situation. As a result, the on-site manager who oversees the cleaning work tends to receive real-time changes in instructions from the hotel or other client via verbal or chat, and then instruct the workers on the cleaning tasks. However, because the on-site manager is busy dealing with on-site issues, they are prone to making mistakes, such as forgetting to give instructions or not following instructions thoroughly, when changing work instructions, which can lead to problems with the quality of the cleaning.

[0003] Patent document 1 describes a business support system that includes a character information generation means that generates character information from speech in a meeting using voice recognition, a task generation means that obtains the to-do items decided in the meeting from the character information generated by the character information generation means and generates tasks corresponding to the to-do items, and a task notification means that notifies the tasks generated by the task generation means to those involved in the tasks.

[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2019-207612

[0005] The above system can generate tasks based on the decisions made in the meeting and notify the relevant parties. Therefore, it is effective in situations where tasks need to be generated from scratch and notified, but its effectiveness is limited in the case of cleaning work at the inn mentioned above, where tasks that have already been set up need to be modified and executed.

[0018] Problems, configurations, effects, and the like other than those described above will become clear from the following description of the embodiments.

[0019] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of an overview of a work request system. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of an embodiment of a work request system. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of a default work list. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of a work reception device. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of a work request sequence. FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a work list update sequence. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an example of a work reception screen. FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an example of a work list update screen. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example of a system prompt.

[0020] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0021] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of an overview of a work request system. In this example, the work request system 1 is illustrated as targeting cleaning work (hotels, office buildings, etc.). The client and work manager refer to the person who requests cleaning work and the person who serves as the contact point for cleaning work requests, respectively. Furthermore, the facility to be cleaned does not necessarily have to be a hotel or office building, and may include various rooms, buildings, structures, signs, etc.

[0022] In the work request system 1, a requester inputs work request information (e.g., changes to work content) from a requester terminal 100 via a network 50 in a chat room of the work reception device 300. A work manager interacts with the requester in the chat room of the work reception device 300 from a work manager terminal 200 via the network 50, and the work reception device 300 appropriately reflects the changes to the work in the work list using the results. If the work management device 400 manages the work list, the work reception device 300 instructs the work management device 400 to reflect the changes to the work via an API (Application Programming Interface). Note that the conversation between the work manager and the requester is conducted using a chat room, but is not limited thereto. For example, any conversation that takes place in a space where the conversation content can be recorded in chronological order, such as a social networking service (SNS), short messages, or video chat, may be used. Furthermore, the conversation is not limited to text-based chat, and may also be voice calls or video-based chat.

[0023] Furthermore, it is desirable that the client terminal 100 and the work manager terminal 200 are highly portable information processing devices such as a smartphone, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), PC (Personal Computer), or tablet terminal that can communicate with the work reception device 300 and the work management device 400 via the network 50. The functions of the client terminal 100, the work manager terminal 200, the work reception device 300, and the work management device 400 are realized by software that runs on an OS (Operating System).

[0024] 2 is a diagram showing an example of a work request system according to the present embodiment. The work request system 1 includes a client terminal 100, a work reception device 300 communicably connected to the client terminal 100 via wired or wireless communication, a work manager terminal 200 communicably connected to the work reception device 300 via a network 50, and a work management device 400 communicably connected to the work reception device 300 via the network 50.

[0025] The requester terminal 100 is basically an information processing device carried by the requester himself / herself, or an information processing device loaned for business purposes by the company to which the manager belongs. In this embodiment, the person who uses the requester terminal 100 is the requester. The work manager terminal 200 is basically an information processing device carried by the work manager himself / herself, or an information processing device loaned for business purposes by the company to which the manager belongs. In this embodiment, the person who directly uses the work manager terminal 200 is the work manager.

[0026] The network 50 is, for example, a network such as the Internet or an intranet. However, the network 50 is not limited to this and may also be a WAN (Wide Area Network), a mobile phone network, or a communication network that combines these. Alternatively, the network 50 may be a VPN (Virtual Private Network) on a wireless communication network such as a mobile phone communication network.

[0027] The work reception device 300 and the work management device 400 are information processing devices such as so-called server devices. The work reception device 300 and the work management device 400 are connected to the client terminal 100 and the work manager terminal 200 via a network 50.

[0028] The client terminal 100 includes at least a processing unit 120, a display unit 130, an input unit 131, and a communication unit 140. The processing unit 120 includes a chat processing unit 121 and realizes a so-called chat function. For example, the processing unit 120 logs in to a chat room provided by the work reception device 300, displays a chat log, and controls browsing and input. The communication unit 140 communicates with other devices via wired communication or wireless communication. For example, the communication unit 140 communicates via various wired communication cables such as a wired LAN (Local Area Network) cable or via radio waves of a wireless LAN.

[0029] The work manager terminal 200 is basically the same as the client terminal 100. The work manager terminal 200 includes at least a processing unit 220, a display unit 230, an input unit 231, and a communication unit 240. The processing unit 220 includes a chat processing unit 221 and realizes a so-called chat function. For example, the processing unit 220 logs into a chat room provided by the work reception device 300, displays a chat log (dialogue log), and controls viewing and input. The communication unit 240 communicates with other devices via wired communication or wireless communication. For example, the communication unit 240 communicates via various wired communication cables such as a wired LAN cable or via wireless LAN radio waves.

[0030] The work acceptance device 300 includes a storage unit 310, a processing unit 320, and a communication unit 340. The storage unit 310 includes a default work list 311 and a work list 312.

[0031] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of a default task list. The default task list 311 stores tasks related to each room (e.g., a room to be cleaned) as tasks 311b for each room number 311a that identifies the task location. For example, the default task list 311 stores the following tasks 311b for "Room 303": "Collect trash from the room into trash bags," "Place new trash bags in trash cans (two places)," "Make the bed," "Collect used amenities," and "Prepare one toothbrush." For example, the default task list 311 stores the following tasks for "Room 501": "Collect trash from the room into trash bags," "Place new trash bags in trash cans (two places)," "Make the bed," "Collect used amenities," "Prepare two toothbrushes," "Prepare two bath towels and two face towels," "Prepare one foot towel," and "Return the hair dryer to its designated location."

[0032] Returning to the explanation of Fig. 2, the task list 312 is basically the same as the default task list 311. The task list 312 is information that reflects changes to the tasks in the default task list 311.

[0033] The processing unit 320 realizes application functions. The processing unit 320 includes a chat providing unit 321, a work management device access unit 322, a transcription unit 323, an instruction statement creation unit 324, a correction work generation unit 325, and a correction application unit 326. The instruction statement creation unit 324 and the correction work generation unit 325 can use a generation AI that has acquired a language model (not shown). Specifically, the instruction statement creation unit 324 and the correction work generation unit 325 can use output data output by the generation AI by inputting input data to the generation AI. The generation AI is a trained model, such as GPT-4, in which a language model using a neural network (NN) is trained in advance using language data through machine learning or deep learning. The generation AI is not limited to a neural network (NN), and other known methods may also be used. Furthermore, it is desirable to use a generating AI that has been tuned using few-shot learning, fine tuning, or the like.

[0034] The chat providing unit 321 provides a function for realizing chat between the client terminal 100 and the work manager terminal 200. For example, the chat providing unit 321 sets up a chat room each time or permanently, invites the client and the work manager, and realizes text chat and voice chat.

[0035] The work management device access unit 322 inquires about information from the work management device 400 via the network 50, receives provided information, and instructs the work management device 400 to modify the information.

[0036] If the chat function provided by the chat providing unit 321 includes a voice chat, the transcription unit 323 converts speech information of the voice chat into text information (Speech To Text function).

[0037] The instruction creation unit 324 summarizes the chat text and generates an instruction related to the work. The instruction creation unit 324 can use a summary generation AI (Artificial Intelligence) that has learned to extract instructions for changing the content of the work for each room included in the text. The instruction creation unit 324 can use a summary generation AI that has learned to identify breaks in the dialogue included in the text and extract instructions for changing the content of the work.

[0038] The correction work generation unit 325 reads the instruction statements generated by the instruction statement creation unit 324 for each room in the work list to identify the changes to the work. Specifically, the correction work generation unit 325 reads the instruction statements generated by the instruction statement creation unit 324 for each room to be worked on, such as "Room 101," and extracts the changes to the related work. After extracting the changes to one room to be worked on, such as "Room 101," the correction work generation unit 325 launches a new generation AI to extract the changes to another room. This can have the effect of preventing changes to work in other rooms from affecting changes to work in other rooms, depending on the specifications of the generation AI. Furthermore, the correction work generation unit 325 can use a change identification AI that has learned to ignore instructions when changes to work content already changed in the work list are indicated by the instructions.

[0039] The correction application unit 326 updates the work list using the work change content identified by the correction work generation unit 325. When correcting the work list using the change content, the correction application unit 326 outputs the change content by text chat or voice chat in a chat room provided by the chat providing unit 321, and updates the work list when a positive response (e.g., "Yes," "That's fine," etc.) is received. When updating the work list, the correction application unit 326 instructs the work management device 400 to correct the information via the work management device access unit 322.

[0040] The communication unit 340 communicates with other devices via wired or wireless communication. For example, the communication unit 340 communicates via various wired communication cables such as a wired LAN cable or via radio waves of a wireless LAN.

[0041] The work management device 400 is basically the same as the work reception device 300. The work management device 400 includes at least a memory unit 410, a processing unit 420, and a communication unit 440. The memory unit 410 includes a task list 411. The task list 411 stores tasks related to each work location (e.g., a room to be cleaned) and each room number that identifies the work location. The task list 411 serves as master information for the tasks and is used separately, for example, for viewing by workers performing tasks under the direction of a work manager and for managing the progress of the tasks. The task list 411 may be stored and managed in a database or the like, or may be managed as an object or data structure in memory, or may be managed as a file in storage.

[0042] The processing unit 420 includes an inquiry processing unit 421 and a modification receiving unit 422. The inquiry processing unit 421 receives an inquiry about the task list from another device, for example, the task reception device 300, and transmits the task list 411 stored in the storage unit 410. The modification receiving unit 422 also receives changes to the tasks and updates the task list 411.

[0043] The communication unit 440 communicates with other devices via wired or wireless communication. For example, the communication unit 440 communicates via various wired communication cables such as a wired LAN cable or via radio waves of a wireless LAN.

[0044] 4 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of a work reception device. The work reception device 300 has a processor 11, a memory 12, a storage 13, and a communication device 14, and each component is connected by a bus. The power source may be a primary battery or a rechargeable secondary battery, which can be replaced when worn or deteriorated.

[0045] The processor 11 is an arithmetic device such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit) or a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and executes processing according to a program recorded in the memory 12 or the storage 13. In the work reception device 300, processing is performed by the processor 11 operating according to a program read onto the memory 12 or the storage 13. The processing unit 320, the chat providing unit 321, the work management device access unit 322, the transcription unit 323, the instruction statement creation unit 324, the correction work generation unit 325, and the correction application unit 326 each realize their respective functions by the processor 11 executing the program.

[0046] The memory 12 is a storage device such as a RAM (Random Access Memory) or a flash memory, and functions as a storage area from which programs and data are temporarily read. The storage 13 is a writable and readable storage device. The functions of the storage unit 310 are realized by the memory 12 or the storage 13. Note that the functions of the storage unit 310 may also be realized by a storage device connected via the communication device 14.

[0047] The communication device 14 is an interface for connecting the work reception device 300 to an external device for communication. For example, the communication device 14 performs wireless communication using an antenna that can use a predetermined radio wave (e.g., 5 GHz band, 2.4 GHz band, etc.) that establishes a connection with the work management device 400 according to the Wi-Fi standard.

[0048] The processing of each component of work reception device 300 may be executed by a single piece of hardware or by multiple pieces of hardware. Furthermore, the processing of each component of work reception device 300 may be realized by a single program or by multiple programs.

[0049] The client terminal 100, the work manager terminal 200, and the work management device 400 have generally the same hardware configuration as the work reception device 300. However, the client terminal 100 and the work manager terminal 200 often include input / output devices such as a touch panel display and a microphone, similar to a typical smartphone.

[0050] Next, the processing flow of the work request system 1 will be described. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of a work request sequence in the work request system 1. The processing in this sequence diagram covers the sequence from opening a chat room in response to an instruction from the work manager terminal 200, confirming work changes in the chat, to starting updating the work list in response to an instruction from the work manager terminal 200. Depending on the specifications of the chat room, some are opened at any time, while others are opened once and maintained semi-permanently. However, this sequence includes the situation where the chat room is opened for the first time. Therefore, from the second time onwards, the chat room may already be opened, or it may be newly opened.

[0051] First, the work manager terminal 200 performs a chat room opening process on the work reception device 300 (step S01). Specifically, the work manager terminal 200 transmits a room opening instruction.

[0052] Then, the work manager terminal 200 transmits a request to the client terminal 100 to participate in the chat (step S02).

[0053] Then, the client terminal 100 that has accepted the participation request transmits the user data to the work acceptance device 300 and performs participation processing (step S03).

[0054] Then, while participating in the chat, the requester inputs a work request statement via the chat processing unit 121 of the requester terminal 100 (step S04). The input work request statement is transmitted to the work receiving device 300 as text information (work request text) on the chat.

[0055] Then, the work manager, having referenced the work request text posted in the chat log, inputs a response to the work request text via the chat processing unit 221 of the work manager terminal 200 (step S05).

[0056] After the dialogue regarding the work request text has taken place one or more times, the work manager transmits a work list update instruction to the work reception device 300 via the chat processing unit 221 of the work manager terminal 200 (step S06).

[0057] The above is an example of a work request sequence. According to this work request sequence, a work request is made in a chat room where a conversation can take place between the work manager and the requester, and once questions and responses are exchanged, the dialogue log can be used to input changes to the work.

[0058] 6 is a diagram showing an example of a task list update sequence. The processing in this sequence diagram covers the sequence from when an instruction to start updating the task list is issued from the task manager terminal 200 to when the task list is actually updated.

[0059] First, the work reception device 300 performs a transcription and segmentation identification process (step S11). Specifically, if the chat function provided by the chat providing unit 321 includes voice chat, the transcription unit 323 converts the voice chat utterance information into text information (Speech To Text function). Then, the transcription unit 323 identifies a segment of the dialogue based on the text information of the text chat or the text information converted from the voice chat. Note that the transcription unit 323 may identify a segment of the dialogue if the text information contains a speech indicating that the work manager has understood the work request, such as an utterance such as "I understand" or "I got it," or if a predetermined time (e.g., five minutes) has elapsed since the dialogue stopped. The transcription unit 323 may also use a generation AI that has learned to extract such segments of dialogue.

[0060] Then, the instruction creation unit 324 creates an instruction for each segment of the dialogue based on the text information (step S12). Specifically, the instruction creation unit 324 summarizes the chat text for each segment and creates an instruction related to the work. The instruction creation unit 324 can also use a summary generation AI that has learned to extract instructions for changing the content of the work for each room included in the text. The instruction creation unit 324 can also use a summary generation AI that has learned to identify segments of the dialogue included in the text and extract instructions for changing the content of the work.

[0061] For example, when the instruction creation unit 324 receives the following dialogue text information as input: "Hotel: Please provide two towels in room 301. Cleaning site manager: Room 301 is a double room, so there are already two. Hotel: Sorry, it was room 101. Cleaning site manager: Understood. Hotel: Please place an additional air purifier in room 303. Cleaning site manager: Understood," the instruction creation unit 324 extracts instructions for changing the work content by dividing the text into a first half and a second half, using the expression "Site manager: Understood." The instruction creation unit 324 then summarizes the first half to extract instructions for changing the work content for each room, and creates an instruction such as "Provide two towels in room 101." The instruction creation unit 324 also summarizes the second half to create an instruction such as "Add an air purifier to room 303."

[0062] Then, the correction work generation unit 325 inquires about the work list from the work management device 400 (step S13). Specifically, the correction work generation unit 325 inquires about the work list of the target room for which change work is required from the work management device 400 via the work management device access unit 322.

[0063] The inquiry processing unit 421 of the work management device 400 transmits the work list for which the work list inquiry was received to the work reception device 300 (step S14). Specifically, the inquiry processing unit 421 reads the work list 411 stored in the memory unit 410, extracts the work list for the target room, and transmits it.

[0064] The correction work generation unit 325 then generates changes for each room in the work list in accordance with the instruction statement (ignoring any work that has already been corrected (treating it as no change)) (step S15). Specifically, the correction work generation unit 325 reads the instruction statement generated by the instruction statement creation unit 324 for each room in the work list to identify the changes to the work. Furthermore, if the instruction statement indicates changed content in the work list transmitted from the work management device 400 in step S14, the correction work generation unit 325 can use a change content identification AI that has learned to ignore the instruction statement (to eliminate duplicate work changes).

[0065] The correction applying unit 326 then displays the changes on the work manager terminal 200 for confirmation (step S16). Specifically, the changes are output via text chat or voice chat in a chat room provided by the chat providing unit 321, and corrections or an approval response are accepted.

[0066] The chat processing unit 221 of the work manager terminal 200 inputs the correction content or approval via chat (step S17). Specifically, when the chat processing unit 221 receives the input of the correction content or approval response from the work manager, it adds it to the chat utterance in the work reception device 300.

[0067] If there are any corrections, the correction application unit 326 reflects the corrections in the changes and issues an instruction to correct the work list (step S18). Specifically, the correction application unit 326 reflects the corrections in the changes, or if an approval response is received, issues an instruction to the work management device 400 to correct the work list via the work management device access unit 322.

[0068] The modification receiving unit 422 of the task management device 400 then receives the modified content of the task and updates the task list 411 to reflect the modified content (step S19).

[0069] The above is an example of a task list update sequence. According to the task list update sequence, the task list managed by the task management device 400 can be updated to reflect the contents of the dialogue log and the like.

[0070] 7 is a diagram showing an example of a work reception screen. The work reception screen 500 is a screen on the work manager terminal 200 that displays a dialogue log made in steps S04 and S05 of the work request sequence. The work reception screen 500 includes a dialogue log display area 510, a comment input field 520, a comment confirmation instruction acceptance button 521, and a work list update instruction acceptance button 530. The dialogue log display area 510 displays the dialogue log. The comment input field 520 and the comment confirmation instruction acceptance button 521 are input areas for making chat comments. The work list update instruction acceptance button 530 is a button that accepts an instruction to start a work list update sequence, with the dialogue shown in the dialogue log display area 510 as the target.

[0071] When input is received on the work list update instruction reception button 530, in the example dialogue log shown in this figure, the instruction sentence creation unit 324 separates the first half of the dialogue 510A, which reads, "Hotel: Please provide two towels in room 301. Cleaning site manager: Room 301 is a double room, so there were originally two. Hotel: Sorry, it was room 101. Cleaning site manager: Understood," from the second half of the dialogue 510B, which reads, "Hotel: Please provide an additional air purifier in room 303. Cleaning site manager: Understood."

[0072] 8 is a diagram showing an example of a task list update screen. The task list update screen 600 is a screen resulting from the transition of the task reception screen 500. After the dialogue log display area 510, a confirmation utterance 610 of the changes made by the correction application unit 326 is displayed. When the task manager makes an utterance of the correction, "Cleaning site manager: Please change the number of towels in room 303 to '3'," a confirmation utterance 620 of the changes made by the correction application unit 326 is displayed. The confirmation utterance 610 of the changes and the confirmation utterance 620 of the changes are invisible to the client but visible to the task manager.

[0073] 9 is a diagram showing an example of a system prompt. System prompt 700 is an example of a summary of a prompt given to the generation AI of the correction work generation unit 325 to execute a work list update sequence. System prompt 700 includes instructions such as having a work list for each room, displaying, correcting, and deleting work, and outputting correction differences.

[0074] Although the above describes an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is not limited to the above-described exemplary embodiment and includes various modifications. For example, in the above embodiment, updating the task list is a process that is executed independently. However, updating the task list may require additional processing, such as re-cleaning. In such cases, the present invention is not limited to this, and additional processing may be executed, or the additional processing may be conditionally disabled. Specifically, in the case of a task such as increasing the number of towels placed in a room, re-cleaning is not particularly required, so the re-cleaning flag managed by the task management device 400 may be set not to be raised. In contrast, in the case of a task such as changing a mattress, the re-cleaning flag may be raised. This makes it possible to eliminate missed tasks and unnecessary tasks when changing tasks, thereby enabling more appropriate task changes.

[0075] The above-described exemplary embodiments have been described in detail to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to those including all of the components described herein. Furthermore, it is possible to replace part of the configuration of one embodiment with the configuration of another embodiment. Furthermore, it is also possible to add the configuration of another embodiment to the configuration of one embodiment. Furthermore, it is also possible to add, delete, or replace part of the configuration of each embodiment with other configurations. Furthermore, some or all of the above-described configurations, functions, processing units, processing means, etc. may be realized in hardware, for example, by designing them as integrated circuits. Furthermore, the control lines and information lines in the figures are those considered necessary for explanation, and are not necessarily all shown. It is also possible to consider that almost all of the components are interconnected.
