Abstract
Description
Fascia massage belt and fascia massage garment
[0001] The present invention relates to a belt and garment for massaging the fascia, and in particular to a fascia massage belt and garment that can be easily worn to massage the gluteus maximus and medius muscles and that allows for effective massage simply by wearing them.
[0002] A large number of massage tools with various ingenious features have been used in the past, and massage devices with a wide variety of structures have been developed and used. Here, fascial massage, which massages the fascia, is a massage technique that removes adhesions between muscles and fascia.
[0003] All muscles are covered by a thin membrane called fascia, which supports the muscles. When deep muscles become fatigued or severely damaged, adhesions form between the muscle and fascia, or between fascia and fascia, preventing the muscles from moving smoothly. This manifests as stiffness, numbness, and pain.
[0004] Fascia massage is a type of massage that applies pressure to the fascia and muscles from the outside while moving the muscles inside to remove adhesions, relieve stiffness and pain, and allow sufficient movement of joints. Fascia massage belts and fascia massage clothing make it possible to perform this massage easily and effectively.
[0005] One example of technology related to such massage devices is found in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-222. This publication discloses a garment structure that provides one or more protrusions on the areas of underwear, socks, and other undergarments that come into contact with the acupressure points of the human body, as a technology that enables acupressure therapy by wearing underwear or the like.
[0006] With this structure, it is certainly possible to press acupressure points simply by wearing it, but there is a problem in that it is not suitable for performing fascial massage because the size, number, and position of the protrusions that are optimal for fascial massage are not clearly defined.
[0007] Furthermore, Utility Model Registration No. 3010666 discloses a belt that can fully exert the effects of localized acupressure. The belt can be wrapped around the waist and tightened to hold the waist, and the corresponding part on the back side of the belt is made of a stretchable and flattenable elastic hose, with multiple acupressure devices arranged at intervals along the length of the hose inside the elastic hose.
[0008] This technology certainly makes it possible to create a belt that can exert a localized acupressure effect, but similarly, there is a problem in that the size, number, and position of the protrusions that are optimal for fascial massage are unclear, making it insufficient for effective fascial massage.
[0009] To massage the gluteus maximus and medius muscles, it is necessary to install protrusions of the appropriate height and width in the appropriate positions and apply pressure with the optimal strength. A structure that ensures optimal positioning is also required. Therefore, there was a need for the development of a fascia massage device that is easy for users to wear and allows for effective massage simply by wearing it.
[0010] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-222 Utility Model Registration No. 3010666
[0011] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention aims to provide a fascial massage belt and garments for massaging the fascia, particularly for massaging the gluteus maximus and medius muscles, which are easy to put on and allow for effective massage simply by putting them on.
[0012] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the fascia massage belt of the present invention is a fascia massage belt consisting of a belt body and massage protrusions, wherein the protrusions are semi-spherical with a diameter of approximately 41 mm to 80 mm and an apex height of 31 mm to 50 mm, and a pair of left and right protrusions are arbitrarily placed on the inner side of the belt body that comes into contact with the user's body, at positions that abut the user's left and right gluteus medius muscles, and a positioning portion that serves as a reference for the wearing position is extended downward in a detachable manner in the central part of the belt body.
[0013] The belt body is also configured with a long protrusion mounting section on the inner surface thereof for detachably mounting the protrusion at any desired position. The protrusion mounting section is made of a male or female hook-and-loop fastener, and the bottom surface of the semi-spherical protrusion is provided with a joint made of a female or male hook-and-loop fastener that can be detachably fixed to the hook-and-loop fastener. Furthermore, the center of the belt body is made of an elastic material that can stretch left and right.
[0014] In addition, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the fascia massage garment of the invention is a fascia massage garment consisting of a garment main body for the lower body and massage protrusions, wherein the protrusions are semi-spherical in shape with a diameter of approximately 41 mm to 80 mm and an apex height of 31 mm to 50 mm, and a pair of left and right protrusions are arbitrarily placed on the inner side of the garment main body that comes into contact with the user's body, at positions that abut the user's left and right gluteus medius muscles.
[0015] The garment also has a long protrusion mounting section on the inner surface of the garment body that detachably mounts the protrusion so that the protrusion can be mounted at any position. The protrusion mounting section is made of a male or female hook-and-loop fastener, and the bottom surface of the semi-spherical protrusion is provided with a connecting section made of a female or male hook-and-loop fastener that can be detachably fixed to the hook-and-loop fastener. Furthermore, the garment has a fastener on the upper front side of the garment body that can be separated and joined to the left and right sides from the abdomen.
[0016] The present invention has the configuration described above in detail, and therefore has the following effects: 1. The belt is configured with a pair of semi-spherical protrusions, each with a diameter of approximately 41 mm to 80 mm and a vertex height of 31 mm to 50 mm, on the left and right, making it possible to massage the fascia with optimal pressure. 2. The belt is configured with a long protrusion installation section on the inner surface, making it possible to adjust the installation position of the protrusions.
[0017] 3. The protrusions are attached to the belt using hook-and-loop fasteners, making it easy to attach and remove the protrusions. 4. The belt uses an elastic material in the center of the belt body, making it possible to provide a fascia massage belt that fits regardless of body type.
[0018] 5. The protrusions attached to clothing such as spats are semi-spherical, with a diameter of approximately 41mm to 80mm and a vertex height of 31mm to 50mm, and are provided on the left and right sides, making it possible to massage the fascia with optimal pressure simply by wearing them. 6. The protrusion placement position can be adjusted by providing a long protrusion placement section on the inner side of clothing such as spats.
[0019] 7. The protrusions are attached to the garment using hook-and-loop fasteners, making it easy to attach and remove the protrusions. 8. A fastener is provided on the upper front of the garment, making it easy to put on and take off the garment.
[0020] The fascia massage belt and fascia massage garment according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. Fig. 1a is a front view of the fascia massage belt according to the present invention, and Fig. 1b is a front view of an embodiment of the fascia massage belt. Fig. 2 is a plan view and a side view of the protrusions, and Fig. 3 is a view showing an embodiment of the positioning portion. Fig. 4a is a view showing the fascia massage garment according to the present invention, and Fig. 4b is a view showing an embodiment of the fascia massage garment. Fig. 5 is a view showing another embodiment of the fascia massage garment.
[0021] As shown in Figures 1a and 1b, the fascia massage belt 100 of the present invention consists of a belt body 110 and protrusions 120, and is a fascia massage belt that is easy to put on and allows you to effectively massage the gluteus maximus and gluteus medius muscles simply by putting it on.
[0022] 1a and 1b, the belt body 110 is the main body of the fascia massage belt 100 according to the present invention, and is a belt-like member that the user wraps around their waist to secure it in place. In this embodiment, the belt body 110 is made of a material that is difficult to stretch from the left and right sides of the waist to the buttocks in order to position the protrusions 120 in a fixed position, and the left and right ends of the belt body 110 can be made of a stretchy material such as rubber to firmly secure it around the user's waist, but the material is not limited to this and any suitable material can be selected and used.
[0023] In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 1a, connecting portions 114 made of hook-and-loop fasteners are provided at both ends of the belt body 110. The belt body 110 is wrapped around the user's waist and the left and right connecting portions 114 are connected together at the abdomen to wear the belt. This configuration makes it easy to wear the fascia massage belt 100 and allows the belt length to be adjusted according to the user's body type. Also, as shown in Figure 1b, a fastener 116 may be provided at one end of the belt, and the other end equipped with a hook-and-loop fastener may be configured to swivel and secure the fastener 116. This allows the fascia massage belt 100 to be securely fastened to the body.
[0024] The protrusions 120 are convex members used for massage, and in this embodiment, as shown in Figures 1a, 1b and 2, are semi-spherical in shape with a diameter of approximately 41 mm to 80 mm and a vertex height of 31 mm to 50 mm.
[0025] The protrusions 120 are provided as a pair on the left and right sides of the inner surface of the belt body 110 that contacts the user's body, at positions that abut the user's left and right gluteus medius muscles. By making the protrusions 120 this size, it is possible to massage the gluteus maximus and medius muscles in an optimal state, making it possible to perform an effective fascial massage. The number of protrusions 120 is not limited to one pair on the left and right, and it is possible to select an appropriate number depending on the patient's condition, such as two pairs on the left and right.
[0026] In this embodiment, the belt main body 110 is configured to have a positioning unit 130 installed, as shown in Figures 1a, 1b, and 3. The positioning unit 130 is a member that serves as a reference for the position at which the fascia massage belt 100 is worn on the human body, and in this embodiment, it is configured to extend detachably downward from the center portion 111 of the belt main body 110. In this embodiment, the positioning unit 130 has a mark on its extended tip, and this mark is the part that comes into contact with the coccyx. In other words, simply by wearing the fascia massage belt 100 so that the positioning unit 130 comes into contact with the coccyx, it is possible to adjust the fascia massage belt 100 to the appropriate position.
[0027] 3, the positioning part 130 can be configured to be detachably installed on the belt main body 110. The positioning part 130 can be made of a stretchable material, and can be configured to be attached and installed using a hook-and-loop fastener provided on the center part 111 of the positioning part 130 and the belt main body 110.
[0028] In one embodiment of the fascia massage belt 100 according to the present invention, a long protrusion mounting section 112 can be provided on the inner surface of the belt body 110, i.e., the side that comes into contact with the user's body. The protrusion mounting section 112 is a member for detachably mounting the protrusion 120 on the belt body 110, which makes it possible to mount the protrusion 120 at any position and to fine-tune the mounting position.
[0029] Since the user can arbitrarily change the installation position of the protrusion 120, there is a risk that the protrusion 120 may be installed in an inappropriate position. For this reason, it is possible to print or add a mark such as a figure on the protrusion installation section 112 to indicate the optimal installation position of the protrusion 120.
[0030] In this embodiment, the protrusion mounting portion 112 is configured with a male or female hook-and-loop fastener. Furthermore, in this embodiment, a joint portion 122 is provided on the bottom surface of the semispherical protrusion 120, as shown in Fig. 2. The joint portion 122 is configured with a female or male hook-and-loop fastener that corresponds to the hook-and-loop fastener provided on the protrusion mounting portion 112, thereby enabling the protrusion 120 to be removably fixed to the protrusion mounting portion 112.
[0031] In one embodiment of the fascia massage belt 100 according to the present invention, the central portion 111 of the belt body 110 can be configured to be made of an elastic member that is stretchable left and right. This configuration makes it possible to prevent the protrusions 120 from shifting when the user wearing the fascia massage belt 100 squats.
[0032] Next, we will explain the fascia massage garment 200 of the present invention. As shown in Figures 4a and 4b, the fascia massage garment of the present invention is composed of a garment body 210 and protrusions 220, is easy to put on, and is a fascia massage garment that allows you to effectively massage the gluteus maximus and gluteus medius muscles simply by putting it on.
[0033] 4a and 4b, the garment body 210 is the main body of the fascia massage garment 200 according to the present invention, and is a garment for the lower body that is worn and secured by the user. In this embodiment, the garment body 210 can be configured as spats or the like that are stretchy and can tighten and secure the lower body, but is not limited to this, and lower body garments of any shape and material can be appropriately selected and used.
[0034] The protrusion 220 is a convex member used for massage, and as shown in Figures 2, 4a, and 4b, in this embodiment, it is configured in a semi-spherical shape with a diameter of approximately 41 mm to 80 mm and a vertex height of 31 mm to 50 mm.
[0035] The protrusions 220 are provided as a pair on the left and right sides of the inner surface of the garment body 210 that contacts the user's body, at positions that abut the user's left and right gluteus medius muscles. By making the protrusions 220 this size, it is possible to massage the gluteus maximus and medius muscles in an optimal state, making it possible to perform an effective fascial massage. The number of protrusions 220 is not limited to one pair on the left and right, and it is possible to select an appropriate number depending on the patient's condition, such as two pairs on the left and right.
[0036] In one embodiment of the fascia massage garment 200 according to the present invention, a long protrusion mounting section 212 can be provided on the inner surface of the garment body 210, i.e., the side that comes into contact with the user's body. The protrusion mounting section 212 is a member for detachably mounting the protrusions 220 on the garment body 210, which allows the protrusions 220 to be mounted in any position and allows for fine adjustment of the mounting position.
[0037] Since the user can arbitrarily change the installation position of the protrusion 220, there is a risk that the protrusion 220 may be installed in an inappropriate position. For this reason, it is possible to print or add a mark such as a figure on the protrusion installation section 212 to indicate the optimal installation position of the protrusion 220.
[0038] In this embodiment, the protrusion mounting portion 212 is configured with a male or female hook-and-loop fastener. Furthermore, in this embodiment, a joint portion 222 is provided on the bottom surface of the semispherical protrusion 220, as shown in Fig. 2. The joint portion 222 is configured with a female or male hook-and-loop fastener that corresponds to the hook-and-loop fastener provided on the protrusion mounting portion 212, thereby enabling the protrusion 220 to be removably fixed to the protrusion mounting portion 212.
[0039] 4a and 4b, an embodiment of the fascia massage garment 200 according to the present invention can be configured with a zipper 216 that can be separated and joined to the left and right sides from the abdomen on the upper front 214 of the garment body 210. This configuration makes it easier to put on and take off the garment and prevents the protrusions 220 from shifting or falling off when putting on or taking off the garment.
[0040] Furthermore, as an embodiment of the fascia massage garment 200 according to the present invention, as shown in Figure 4b, it is possible to install a fixing belt 230 having a fastener 232 at one end and a hook-and-loop fastener at the other end near the left and right protrusion mounting sections 212. With this configuration, the hook-and-loop fastener at the other end can swivel and fix the fastener 232, making it possible to perform a pressure massage with stronger pressure from the protrusions 220. The fixing belt 230 may be attached to either the inside or outside of the fascia massage garment 200.
[0041] Another embodiment of the fascia massaging garment 200 according to the present invention is a configuration in which the fascia massaging belt 100 or a belt-like member with a pair of protrusions 220 attached thereto is placed on the inside or outside of spats or the like, as shown in Figure 5. This configuration makes it possible to perform a fascia massage using the protrusions 220 using any lower body garment, and provides a highly convenient fascia massaging garment 200 that can be worn with any outerwear.
[0042] In this embodiment, it is possible to provide a structure in which one end of the belt-like member is provided with fasteners 116 and 234, and the other end is provided with a hook-and-loop fastener to swivel and fix the fasteners 116 and 234. The belt-like member is also fixed to the garment body 210 by hook-and-loop fasteners or by sewing. This allows the protrusions 120 and 220 to apply a stronger pressure to perform a pressure massage.
[0043] Another embodiment of the fascia massage belt 100 and fascia massage garment 200 according to the present invention can be configured so that a bag-shaped member 300 for placing a heating device such as a pocket warmer is placed between the protrusions 120 and 220. With this configuration, it is possible to perform a fascia massage with the protrusions 120 and 220 while warming the affected area of the user, thereby enabling a more effective massage.
[0044] With the above configuration, it has become possible to provide a fascial massage belt 100 and a fascial massage garment 200 that can be easily put on and that allows for effective fascial massage simply by putting them on.
