Abstract
Description
CHILD SAFETY SEAT AND BASE THEREOFTECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of child carrier, and in particular, to a child safety seat and a base thereof capable of indicating whether the child safety seat is mounted in place.BACKGROUND
[0002] Car child safety seats become essential items for children during traveling by vehicles. The child safety seat mainly includes a base and a seat body engaged on the base. The child safety seat is required to be used correctly to achieve the effect of protecting the child. In use, the base is connected to a car seat through an ISOFIX connector and abuts against a backrest of the car seat, so that the child safety seat can be effectively prevented from turning over backwardly, thereby guaranteeing connection stability of the child safety seat.
[0003] Currently, most child safety seats do not have indicating devices, and whether the child safety seats are mounted in place (for example, whether the bases abut against the backrests of the car seats) is required to be judged subjectively by operators, which is prone to bring risks to the seated children due to artificial misjudgment. In addition, when a car is running, continuous jolts are prone to cause the position of the child safety seat to be shifted, the bases thus cannot abut against the backrest of the car seat, and in this case, if such problems are not checked and solved by the operator in time, the safety of the child safety seats can also be influenced.SUMMARY
[0004] According to various embodiments of the present application, a child safety seat and a base thereof are provided.

These orientational terms are used only to make the description of the embodiments of the present application clearer, and are not used to unduly define the protection scope of the present application.
[0049] As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 5, the base body 1 includes a first base housing 101 and a second base housing 102. The first base housing 101 and the second base housing 102 together form a receiving cavity 103. The rear end part of the base body 1 is provided with an abutting part 12. The abutting part 12 is configured to abut against a backrest part 310 of the car seat 300. Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, when the base 100 (i.e., the child safety seat) is mounted on the car seat 300, a lower side of the first base housing 101 is stably placed on a seat part 320 of the car seat as a placement plane, and the abutting part 12 of the base 100 faces the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300 and abuts against the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300.
[0050] As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 3, when the base 100 is mounted on the car seat 300, an end of the supporting leg 4 is pivotally connected to the front end part 11, and another end of thesupporting leg 4 is supported on the floor mat of the car, so that the child safety seat is stably mounted on the car seat 300.
[0051] Still referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the base 100 is provided with two ISOFIX connectors 5. The two ISOFIX connectors 5 are slidably arranged on left and right sides of the base 100. The two ISOFIX connectors 5 are detachably connected to the connectors provided on the car seat 300, thereby detachably mounting the base 100 on the car seat 300. The abutting part 12 is located between the two ISOFIX connectors 5.
[0052] As shown in FIG. 5 to FIG. 6, the base 100 further includes an indicating mechanism 2 and a display mechanism 3. The display mechanism 3 is arranged on the base body 1 and has a display window 31. The display window 31 is arranged at the front end part 11. Specifically, an opening in communication with the receiving cavity 103 is formed on an upper side surface of the front end part 11. The opening forms the display window 31. The display mechanism 3 further includes a transparent member 32 arranged at the front end part 11. The transparent member 32 covers the opening. The display mechanism 3 arranged at the front end part 11 of the base 100 is more convenient for an observation of a user. In other embodiments, the display mechanism 3 may be arranged at other positions of the base 100, such as the side part of the base 100, but the present application is not limited thereto.
[0053] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 5 to FIG. 8, the indicating mechanism 2 is arranged on the base body 1. The indicating mechanism 2 includes an indicating member 21 , a trigger member 22, and a pulling assembly 23. The indicating member 21 is slidably arranged on the base body 1. The trigger member 22 is rotatably arranged on the base body 1 , and connected to the indicating member 21 in a driven manner through the pulling assembly 23. When the trigger member 22 is triggered to rotate by an external force, the indicating member 21 can be driven by the pulling assembly 23 to slide relative to the base body 1, to indicate that the base 100 (or the child safety seat) is in a correct mounting position or in an incorrect mounting position. In some other unillustrated embodiments, the pulling assembly 23 may be omitted, and the trigger member 22 is directly connected to the indicating member 21, so that when the trigger member 22 is triggered to move by the external force, the indicating member 21 can be driven to move relative to the base body 1, which is not limited herein.
[0054] As shown in FIG. 10, the indicating member 21 includes a body part 215, a driving part 212, and an indicating part 211. The driving part 212 and an indicating part 211 are arranged at twoends of the body part 215. The driving part 212 is connected to the pulling assembly 23. The body part 215 extends substantially in the first direction DI . The direction in which the indicating member 21 moves relative to the base body 1 is substantially parallel to the extending direction of the body part 215. That is, the indicating member 21 moves substantially in the frontward-rearward direction. The body part 215 has a first straight section 2151 and a second straight section 2152 arranged in parallel with each other. The driving part 212 is arranged at an end of the first straight section 2151 away from the second straight section 2152. The indicating part 211 is arranged at an end of the second straight section 2152 away from the first straight section 2151 and extends in the second direction D2 (i.e., the leftward-rightward direction) substantially perpendicular to the first direction DI . In the present embodiment, the base body 1 is provided with a guide groove 17. The guide groove 17 extends in the frontward-rearward direction. The guide groove 17 receives the indicating member 21 and guides the indicating member 21 to slide in the frontward-rearward direction relative to the base body 1. A groove opening of the guide groove 17 is provided with a limiting part 171. The limiting part 171 stops the indicating member 21 from being upwardly separated from the guide groove 17. Specifically, the driving part 212 extends through the guide groove 17, and is limited by the limiting part 171 and a sidewall of the guide groove 17, so that the driving part 212 moves in a direction parallel to an extending direction of the guide groove 17. The guide groove 17 has a first sidewall and a second sidewall that extend in the first direction DI and are spaced apart in the second direction D2. A length of the first sidewall in the first direction DI is greater than a length of the second sidewall of the guide groove 17 in the first direction DI. The driving part 212 (i.e., the indicating member 21) is guided by the first sidewall with a larger length in the first direction DI and moves in the first direction DI.
[0055] The indicating part 211 is partially exposed at the front end part 11 or the side part of the base body 1. In the present embodiment, the indicating part 211 is in the front end part 11 of the base 100 and exposed at the front end part 11 through the display window 31. The indicating part 211 has a first indicating region 211a and a second indicating region 211b. The first indicating region 211a and the second indicating region 211b selectively face the display window 31 directly to indicate that the base 100 is in the correct mounting position or in the incorrect mounting position. The first indicating region 21 la and the second indicating region 21 lb may be marked, for example, by colors, characters, symbols, shapes, or the like, so as to distinguish the mounting positions of the child safety seat (i.e., the base 100) The correct mounting position may correspond to the position where the basemounting position may correspond to the position where the base 100 of the child safety seat does not abut against the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300. In the present embodiment, the first indicating region 21 la is located behind and adjacent to the second indicating region 21 lb in the first direction. The first indicating region 211a is, for example, marked in red, and the second indicating region 211b is, for example, marked in green. The indicating part 211 has a first indicating position and a second indicating position. When the indicating part 211 is in the first indicating position, at least a portion of the first indicating region 211a directly faces the display window 31 , which indicates that the child safety seat is in the incorrect mounting position. When the indicating part 211 is in the second indicating position, only the second indicating region 211b directly faces the display window 31 , which indicates that the child safety seat is in the correct mounting position.
[0056] As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 9, the trigger member 22 is arranged at the abutting part 12. The trigger member 22 has a driving connecting part 221, a pushing part 222, and an intermediate part 223 located between the driving connecting part 221 and the pushing part 222. The intermediate part 223 is pivotally connected to the abutting part 12 of the base body 1 through a connecting pin 26. the connecting pin 26 defines a pivot axis of the trigger member 22. The driving connecting part 221 is accommodated in the receiving cavity 103 and connected to the indicating member 21 in a driven manner. Specifically, the pulling assembly 23 includes a pulling member 231. An end of the pulling member 231 is connected to the driving connecting part 221, and another end of the pulling member 231 is connected to the driving part 212 of the indicating member 21.
[0057] In the present embodiment, the trigger member 22 can at least partially protrude from the base body 1, so as to allow the trigger member 22 to be triggered by the external force to retract towards the base body 1. The trigger member 22 has a first position and a second position. When the base 100 is in the incorrect mounting position, the trigger member 22 is in the first position, at least a portion of the pushing part 222 extends out of the receiving cavity 103 through a through opening 13 formed on the base 100, and protrudes from the base body 1, to allow the pushing part 222 to be triggered by the external force to rotate. In this case, the indicating member 21 is in the first indicating position where at least a portion of the first indicating region 211a directly faces the display window 31. Specifically, at least the portion of the pushing part 222 extends out of the receiving cavity 103 through the through opening 13 formed on the abutting part 12 and backwardly protrudes from the abutting part 12, so as to allow the pushing part 222 to be pushed and triggered by the backrest partspaced apart, and the indicating member 21 is in the first indicating position. When the base 100 is in the correct mounting position, the trigger member 22 is in the second position, at least a portion of the pushing part 222 retracts to the receiving cavity 103 through the through opening 13, and in this case, the indicating member 21 is in the second indicating position where only the second indicating region 211b directly faces the display window 31. Specifically, the pushing part 222 is pushed by the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300, the pushing part 222 completely retracts to the receiving cavity 103 through the through opening 13 formed on the abutting part 12, the abutting part 12 abuts against the backrest part 310, and in this case, the indicating member 21 is in the second indicating position. In other embodiments, when the base 100 is in the correct mounting position, only at least a portion of the pushing part 222 may retract to the receiving cavity 103 through the through opening 13 formed on the abutting part 12. During the rotation of the trigger member 22 from the first position to the second position, the pulling member 231 drives the indicating member 21 to move from the first indicating position to the second indicating position.
[0058] As shown in FIG. 5, FIG. 7, and FIG. 8, the driving connecting part 221 and the base body 1 are connected through a sliding pin 24. A sliding connecting part 14 is provided in the receiving cavity 103. The sliding connecting part 14 is arranged on the first base housing 101. The sliding connecting part 14 of the base body 1 is provided with a sliding groove 15 along which the sliding pin 24 can slide. The driving connecting part 221 is provided with a connecting groove 224 along which the sliding pin 24 can slide. The sliding pin 24 extends through both the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224. The driving connecting part 221 rotates to drive the sliding pin 24 to slide in the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224. The sliding pin 24 is connected to the driving part 212 of the indicating member 21 through the pulling member 231. In this embodiment, the connecting groove 224 is a strip-shaped groove, and the sliding groove 15 is a strip-shaped groove. The sliding groove 15 extends substantially linearly in the first direction DI. The connecting groove 224 also extends linearly. The extending direction of the connecting groove 224 is substantially parallel to the extending direction of the trigger member 22. An included angle 0 is formed between the extending direction of the connecting groove 224 and the extending direction of the sliding groove 15. The included angle 0 is an acute angle. In other embodiments, the included angle 0 can be a right angle. With such an arrangement, when the trigger member 22 rotates relative to the base body 1, the driving connecting part 221 of the trigger member 22 displaces relative to the sliding pin 24 in theextending direction of the connecting groove 224, and drives the sliding pin 24 to slide along the sliding groove 15 in the first direction DI. By cooperation between the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224, when the trigger member 22 rotates, the sliding pin 24 can be driven to slide smoothly along the sliding groove 15, so as to drive the indicating member 211 to move in the first direction. In other alternative embodiments, the connecting groove 224 may be omitted, the sliding pin 24 is connected to the driving connecting part 221, and the sliding groove 15 is configured to be arc-shaped, so that the trigger member 22 rotates to drive the sliding pin 24 to slide along the sliding groove 15 smoothly, so that the indicating member 21 is driven by the pulling member 231 connected to the sliding pin 24 to move.
[0059] Referring to FIG. 7 to FIG. 9, the sliding connecting part 14 has two opposite side plate parts 142. Each of the two side plate parts 142 are provided with the sliding groove 15. The driving connecting part 221 includes two opposite lug parts 2211. Each of the two lug parts 2211 are provided with the connecting groove 224. The two lug parts 2211 are located on two sides of the sliding connecting part 14 respectively. The sliding pin 24 extends through the two sliding grooves 15 and the two connecting grooves 224. Two ends of the pulling member 231 are provided with a first connecting terminal 232 and a second connecting terminal 233 respectively. The pulling member 231 is connected to the sliding pin 24 through the first connecting terminal 232. The first connecting terminal 232 is movably arranged between the two side plate parts 142 and between the two lug parts 2211.
[0060] As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 7, the sliding connecting part 14 is provided with an accommodating cavity 141. The two side plate parts 142 form two sidewalls of the accommodating cavity 141 respectively. The sliding groove 15 is in communication with the accommodating cavity 141. The first connecting terminal 232 is movably arranged in the accommodating cavity 141. The sliding pin 24 extends through the first connecting terminal 232. The pulling member 231 extends through the sidewall of the accommodating cavity 141 to be connected to the indicating member 21. The reset member 25 abuts against and is between the indicating member 21 and the base body 1. When the indicating member 21 is in the second indicating position, the reset member 25 drives the indicating member 21 to return to the first indicating position, so that the trigger member 22 is driven by the indicating member 21 to move from the second position to the first position. The reset member 25 is, for example, a compression spring. Specifically, the first base housing 101 is provided with an abutting member 16. The abutting member 16 is located in the receiving cavity 103. The indicating member 21 is provided with a positioning part 214. The positioning part 214 protrudes from the driving part 212 towards the abutting member 16. Specifically, the positioning part 214 is a protrusion extending from a side surface of the driving part 212 substantially in the first direction DI . An end of the reset member 25 is sleeved outside the positioning part 214 and abuts against the driving part 212, and another end of the reset member 25 abuts against the abutting member 16 of the base 100. The pulling member 231 extends through the positioning part 214 to be connected to the second connecting terminal 233.
[0063] As shown in FIG. 2, FIG. 3, and FIG. 5, mounting the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof according to the embodiments of the present application to the car seat 300 includes specific steps as follows.
[0064] Firstly, the child safety seat (or the base 100) is placed on the seat part 320 of the car seat, and then, the supporting leg 4 is moved forwardly to pivot towards the side away from the base body 1, and moved downwardly to abut against the floor mat of the car. The ISOFIX connector 5 is thenpulled backwardly towards the side away from the base body 1 and connected to the connector provided on the car seat 300. In this case, the base body 1 is pushed backwardly in the first direction DI, so that the base body 1 slides backwardly relative to the ISOFIX connector 5 to cause the child safety seat (or the base 100) to move from the incorrect mounting position to the correct mounting position. In this process, the trigger member 22 is pushed and triggered by the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300 to rotate from the first position to the second position in a counterclockwise direction, and drives the sliding pin 24 to move backwardly in the first direction DI , so as to drive the indicating member 21 to move backwardly from the first indicating position (i.e., the position indicating that the base 100 is in the incorrect mounting position) to the second indicating position (i.e., the position indicating that the base 100 is in the correct mounting position) in the first direction DI. in this case, the abutting part 12 just abuts against the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300 ; that is, the child safety seat (or the base 100) is in the correct mounting position.
[0065] Removing the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof from the car seat 300 includes specific steps as follow.
[0066] Firstly, the base body 1 is pushed forwardly in the first direction DI relative to ISOFIX connector 5 to switch the child safety seat (or the base 100) from the correct mounting position to the incorrect mounting position. In this process, since the backrest part 310 of the car seat 300 does not abut against the trigger member 22, the abutting part 12 and the backrest part 310 are spaced apart; that is, the child safety seat (or the base 100) is in the incorrect mounting position, the trigger member 22 has a space protruding from the outside of the base body 1, and the indicating member 21 moves forwardly from the second indicating position to the first indicating position in the first direction DI under the action of an elastic restoring force of the reset member 25, and drives the sliding pin 24 by the pulling member 231 to move forwardly in the first direction DI, so that the trigger member 22 is driven to rotate clockwise from the second position to the first position. And then, the ISOFIX connector 5 is retracted to the base body 1 , and the supporting leg 4 is folded to the bottom of the base body 1.
[0067] During the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof according to the present application switching between the incorrect mounting position and the correct mounting position, since the trigger member 22 protrudes from the base body 1, the trigger member 22 can be triggered by the external force to move, so as to drive the indicating member 21 to move. The change in position of the indicating member 21 can indicate whether the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof are inthe correct mounting position or in the incorrect mounting position, so that an operator can conveniently judge whether the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof are mounted in place by observing the indicating member 21, thus avoiding the risk that the child safety seat is turned over backwardly due to wrong subjective judgment of the operator, and improving the use safety of the child safety seat.
