[0024] [System Processing Overview] Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram showing an overview of the processing in the system 1. In the system 1, the music performance device 50 50 2, the music performance device 50 is the sharing source, and the music performance device 10 is the sharing destination, and the playlist (hereinafter referred to as the "shared playlist") is shared with the music performance device 10. In the example of FIG. 2, the sharing of the shared playlist is performed only once, with the music performance device 50 as the sharing source and the music performance device 10 as the sharing destination. 50 Even if the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 50 based on an operation by the user U, the information is not transmitted to the music performance device 10. 10 Even if the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 10 based on the operation by the user, the information is not transmitted to the music performance device 50.
[0025] In other words, in the example of Figure 2, once a shared playlist is shared, even if the shared playlist is edited on one of the music performance devices 10 and 50, the edited content is not shared or reflected on the other.
[0026] 3 is another schematic diagram showing an overview of the processing in the system 1. In the example of FIG. 3, after a shared playlist is shared between the music performance device 50 as the sharing source and the music performance device 10 as the sharing destination, as shown in A3, the user U 50When the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 50 based on the operation by the user, editing information indicating the edited content is transmitted from the music performance device 50 to the music performance device 10.
[0027] When the music performance device 10 receives the editing information from the music performance device 50, the music performance device 10 edits the shared playlist based on the editing information, as shown in A4, to reflect the edited information in the shared playlist, and updates the shared playlist. 10 Even if the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 10 based on the operation by the user, the information is not transmitted to the music performance device 50.
[0028] 3, once a shared playlist is shared, if the shared playlist is edited on the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, the editing information is transmitted to the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, and the edited content is shared and reflected on the music performance device 10. However, as shown in A5, if the shared playlist is edited on the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, the editing information is not transmitted to the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, and the edited content is not shared or reflected on the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source.
[0029] 3, as in FIG. 1, for the sake of explanation, two music performance devices, music performance device 10 and music performance device 50, are illustrated. However, if three or more music performance devices are communicably connected to each other, the same processing as that of music performance device 50 is performed in each of the multiple music performance devices that are the sharing destinations. With this configuration, playlists as well as various information necessary for DJ performances can be shared among multiple users corresponding to three or more music performance devices. Furthermore, playlists can be synchronized by reflecting edits made by the sharing user in the playlist shared by the sharing destination users.
[0030] 4 is another schematic diagram showing an overview of the processing in the system 1. In the example of FIG. 4, after a shared playlist is shared between the music performance device 50 as the sharing source and the music performance device 10 as the sharing destination, as shown in A6, the user U50 When the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 50 based on the operation by the user, editing information indicating the edited content is transmitted from the music performance device 50 to the music performance device 10.
[0031] When the music performance device 10 receives the editing information from the music performance device 50, as shown at A7, it edits the shared playlist based on the editing information to reflect the information in the shared playlist, thereby updating the shared playlist.
[0032] Also, as shown in A8, user U 10 When the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 10 based on the operation by the user, editing information indicating the edited content is transmitted from the music performance device 10 to the music performance device 50.
[0033] When the music performance device 50 receives the editing information from the music performance device 10, as shown at A9, it edits the shared playlist based on the editing information to reflect the edited information in the shared playlist, thereby updating the shared playlist.
[0034] In other words, in the example of Figure 4, once a shared playlist is shared, when the shared playlist is edited on either the music performance device 50, which is the source of sharing, or the music performance device 10, which is the destination of sharing, the editing information is sent to the other device, and the editing content is shared and reflected mutually.
[0035] 1 and 3, the example of FIG. 4 illustrates two music performance devices, music performance device 10 and music performance device 50, for the sake of explanation. However, if three or more music performance devices are communicably connected to each other, each of the multiple music performance devices that are the sharing destinations performs the same processing as that of music performance device 50. With this configuration, playlists and various information necessary for DJ performances can be shared among multiple users corresponding to three or more music performance devices. Furthermore, edits made by the sharing and sharing users can be reflected in playlists shared by other users, thereby synchronizing the playlists.
[0036] Each process will be described in detail below. (1) Sharing a Shared Playlist When a shared playlist is shared, approval is first performed using a known approval technique. For example, the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, selects the playlist to be shared and the sharing destination, and notifies an approval request to any music performance device at the sharing destination. Once approval is received at the sharing destination using authentication information, etc., the shared playlist is shared.
[0037] When a shared playlist is shared, the music performance device 50 that is the source of the sharing may be configured to set at least one of whether editing is possible on any music performance device that is the sharing destination, and the settings for the items that can be edited.
[0038] For example, the control unit 51 of the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source may include a setting unit that performs the above-described settings, and the setting unit sets, for each shared playlist, whether editing is permitted on any of the music performance devices that are sharing destinations, and the items that can be edited. Note that, when editing of the shared playlist is permitted on any of the music performance devices that are sharing destinations, the configuration may be such that editable items and uneditable items can be set. Furthermore, these settings may be configured to be configurable for each of the music performance devices that are sharing destinations. Furthermore, when there are two or more music performance devices that are sharing destinations, the configuration may be such that these settings can be set for each of the music performance devices.
[0039] With this configuration, it is possible to set whether a shared playlist can be edited and the items that can be edited for each sharing destination for one shared playlist. For example, in the system 1, if a shared playlist is not editable in the music performance device 10 that is the sharing destination, as shown in the example of Figure 3, when the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source, the edited content is shared and reflected in the music performance device 10 that is the sharing destination, but when the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 10 that is the sharing destination, the edited content is not shared or reflected in the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source.
[0040] Also, for example, in system 1, if a shared playlist can be edited on the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, as shown in the example of Figure 4, when the shared playlist is edited on the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, the edited content is shared and reflected on the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, and when the shared playlist is edited on the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, the edited content is also shared and reflected on the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source.
[0041] When the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, receives the shared playlist, the shared playlist is displayed on the display unit 12. The display of the shared playlist is performed in the same manner as in known techniques. Note that, if the music included in the shared playlist includes a music that cannot be used on the music performance device 10, it is preferable that, when the shared playlist is displayed, the fact that the music cannot be used on the music performance device 10 is clearly displayed.
[0042] (2) Editing of Playlists The shared playlist described in (1) is stored in the storage unit 113 of the control unit 11 of the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination. The shared playlist can then be edited in various ways by the editing unit 112.
[0043] Editing by the editing unit 112 includes, for example, adding or deleting songs from the shared playlist, changing the playback order of songs, changing the BPM of songs, changing the position of cue points of songs, etc. Furthermore, the editing unit 112 also invites new sharing members to the shared playlist, and approves or rejects the invitation.
[0044] Furthermore, the editing history in the editing unit 112 is stored as editing information in the form of a list or the like in association with the shared playlist. Fig. 5 is a diagram illustrating editing information. For example, as shown in Fig. 5, the editing information includes an editing date C1, an editing time C2, and editing content C3. Fig. 5 is an example of editing information, and the editing information is not limited to this example. For example, more detailed information regarding the editing content C3 may be stored as editing information, or various types of information may be stored hierarchically. Furthermore, a pop-up display, an icon display, or the like may be used to display the editing content.
[0045] This editing information is updated each time an edit is made to a shared playlist. Furthermore, if the sharing of a shared playlist is terminated, the editing history may be deleted. As described above, each user who shares a given shared playlist can easily check the editing information to see when, by whom, and what kind of edits were made.
[0046] The shared playlist can be edited on the music performance device 50 as the sharing source, just like on the music performance device 10 as the sharing destination.
[0047] [Processing in Music Performance Apparatus 10] FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing processing executed by the control unit 11 of the music performance apparatus 10, which corresponds to the processing described with reference to FIG.
[0048] When the control unit 11 determines that the shared playlist transmitted by the music performance device 50 has been received via the communication unit 13 (YES in step S101), the storage unit 113 stores the received shared playlist (step S102).
[0049] Then, when the control unit 11 determines that the editing information transmitted by the music performance device 50 has been received via the communication unit 13 (YES in step S103), the editing unit 112 edits and updates the shared playlist stored in the storage unit 113 (step S104), and the process returns to step S103.
[0050] That is, after receiving the shared playlist in step S101, the editing unit 112 edits and updates the shared playlist every time editing information is received from the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source in step S103.
[0051] 7 is a flowchart showing the processing equivalent to that described in Fig. 4, which is executed by the control unit 11 of the music performance apparatus 10. In steps S301 to S304, the control unit 11 performs the same processing as in steps S101 to S104 in Fig. 6.
[0052] If the control unit 11 determines that the editing unit 112 has edited the shared playlist (YES in step S305), the control unit 11 transmits the edit information to the music performance device 50 via the communication unit 13 (step S306), and the process returns to step S303.
[0053] That is, after receiving the shared playlist in step S301, the editing unit 112 edits and updates the shared playlist every time editing information is received from the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source in step S303. Furthermore, after receiving the shared playlist in step S301, every time the shared playlist is edited in the music performance device 10 that is the sharing destination in step S305, the editing information is transmitted to the music performance device 50 that is the sharing source.
[0054] In addition, each time the music performance device 50, which is the source of sharing, receives editing information, it edits the shared playlist based on the editing information, just like the music performance device 10, which is the destination of sharing, and the editing information is reflected in the shared playlist, thereby updating the shared playlist.
[0055] Effects of the Embodiment The music performance device 10 according to the embodiment described above allows a first user to perform a DJ performance using a playlist containing information about songs, the order in which the songs are arranged, and additional information used in the DJ performance of each song. The music performance device 10 includes a communication unit 13, which is a receiving unit that receives a shared playlist transmitted by a second user who is a sharing source user; a performance unit 111 that performs a DJ performance using songs available on the music performance device 10 based on the received shared playlist; and an editing unit 112 that edits the received shared playlist. When the second user of the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, modifies the shared playlist, the communication unit 13 receives information indicating the edited content of the shared playlist, and the editing unit 112 reflects the information indicating the edited content in the received shared playlist. This allows multiple users to share playlists and various information necessary for DJ performance. Furthermore, playlists can be synchronized between multiple users.
[0056] In particular, when sharing information about a DJ performance with not only the DJ himself but also musicians and sound and lighting technicians, for example, it is not enough to simply share a playlist of songs in a specified order; instead, various information essential to a DJ performance can be shared and synchronized with information indicating the editing content. This reduces the user's effort and allows for smoother and more reliable information sharing.
[0057] Furthermore, according to the music performance device 10 of this embodiment, when the editing unit 112 changes the shared playlist, information indicating the edited content of the shared playlist is transmitted by the communication unit 13. With this configuration, the edited content of the playlist made on the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, can be always synchronized with the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source.
[0058] Furthermore, the system 1 according to this embodiment includes a music performance device 10 and a music performance device 50, and the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, includes a communication unit 53, which is a transmitter that transmits a shared playlist to the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination, a performance unit 511 that performs a DJ performance using music available on the music performance device 50 based on the shared playlist, and an editing unit 512 that edits the shared playlist, and when the shared playlist is changed in the editing unit 512, the edited content of the shared playlist is transmitted to the music performance device 10 by the communication unit 53. With this configuration, the edited content of the playlist made on the music performance device 50, which is the sharing source, can be always synchronized with the music performance device 10, which is the sharing destination.
[0059] [Modifications of the Embodiments] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and the present invention includes modifications and improvements within the scope of achieving the object of the present invention.
[0060] In the above embodiment, only audio data may be used as music data, or audio data and image data may be used.
[0061] Furthermore, the music performance device having the above-described functions is not limited to the examples described in the above embodiments, and the present invention may also be applied to, for example, computers that run applications, smartphones, and tablet terminals.
