Abstract
Description
[0001] A TWO-STAGE CUP
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a two-stage cup structure with a lower cup, an upper cup and a straw channel through which a straw can pass.
[0004] BACKGROUND
[0005] Before our invention, people either had to find an available table or place like a window seat if their hand full with cups and plates. In the current system, cakes and food are placed on cocktail tables in advance and drinks are self-service. People who cannot find a table can only take drinks but not food. In addition, when the food previously placed on the table is partially consumed by some people, other people hesitate to consume the remaining food, even if the table is available. In this case, new plates are placed on the tables.
[0006] AIM OF THE INVENTION
[0007] In cocktails at scientific conferences or in environments where food and beverages are served while standing, people take their drinks with paper, foam or plastic cups, and they also take the offered cakes, eclairs, snacks and other foods with a separate paper, foam or paper plate. If there are no seating chairs and all the cocktail tables are full, people wait standing with a drink in one hand and a plate in the other. In this case, it is a very difficult task to pick up and eat the food from the plate because both hands are full. In addition, it is not possible for people to shake hands when meeting other people with both hands full. Similarly, when people's phones ring with both hands full, they must leave either the plate or the drink on a suitable table to answer the phone. This invention has been put forward with the aim of providing an optimum solution to this problem.

[0020] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0021] In the invention, the cup and plate are brought together. In fact, the invention is a cup consisting of two levels: the lower cup (1 ) and the upper cup (2). This cup can be easily made from the same materials as existing plates and cups are made from, such as paper, plastic or foam.
[0022] The lower cup (1 ) is larger than the existing cups but large enough to be held with one hand. The upper cup (2) is a shorter cup that can pass over the upper part of the lower cup (1 ). There is a straw channel (3) on the edge of the upper cup (2) so that the straw can pass into the lower cup. After the drink is filled into the lower cup (1), the upper cup (2) is placed on the lower cup (1 ). Then, a straw is placed in the straw channel (3) contained in the upper cup (2). And food (cake, eclairs, cake, snacks, onion rings, potatoes, etc.) is placed into the upper cup (2). The user can hold the cup with one hand and drink with a straw. The user's other hand is largely empty. The other hand is used only when eating food. After the food is taken and thrown into the mouth, this hand becomes empty again. In this way, the user can shake hands with other people while standing, answers his / her phone, and there is no need for the user to find an available cocktail table. After finishing the food and drink, the user can throw the cup in the trash. This cup will provide comfort to users. In addition, food waste will be prevented as users will only take food from the self-service area.
[0023] The invention also provides comfort for people who drink beverages and want to consume food in the vehicle.
[0024] The cup that is the subject of the invention can also be widely used for service purposes in workplaces selling food and beverages. For example, a customer who wants a cold drink and fries can be served practically with this glass in self-service restaurants. If the customer wishes, he / she can remove the top cup and use it separately when sitting at the table. Customers who do not want to do so are given drinks with a lower glass, and their food can be served traditionally.
[0025] The lower (1 ) part of the cup in our invention is in the shape of a standard cup. The novelty element in our invention is the upper cup (2) part that sits on the lower cup
[0026] (1 ). There is a special straw channel (3) in the upper cup (2) so that the straw can pass to the lower cup (1 ). The diameter dimensions of the upper cup (2) have been adjusted to ensure a tight fit so that it can fit completely into the lower cup (1 ). The length of the upper cup (2) has been measured to ensure that there is sufficient volume for the beverage compartment in the lower cup (1 ).
[0027] The sizes of the cups can be chosen in the desired thickness or size. It can be produced from different materials.
[0028] The straw channel (3) in the upper cup (2) can be located on the edge or any part of the cup.
[0029] The user can use the two-stage cup by holding the lower cup (1 ). The upper cup
[0030] (2) can pass into the lower cup (1 ). When the protrusion (4) on the upper edge of the lower cup (1 ) overlaps with the protrusion (5) on the upper edge of the upper cup (2), it limits the amount that the upper cup (2) can enter into the lower cup (1 ). If necessary, there may be a interlaced, turn or other locking mechanism between the two cups on this protrusion part.
[0031] When the upper cup (2) placed on the lower cup, the liquid overflow can be prevented by placing a mark (relief, line, etc.) indicating the maximum liquid level inside the lower cup (1).
Claims
CLAIMS1 . A two-stage cup that can be intertwined characterized by comprising a lower cup (1) further comprising a protrusion (4) and a size that can pass through the lower cup (1) from the top, but shorter in length, containing a straw channel (3) on the edge so that the straw can pass into the lower cup, with diameter dimensions that will allow a tight fit into the lower cup (1 ), an upper cup (2) with a protrusion (5).
