Abstract
Description
[0001] A SECURITY NET CONSTRUCTION
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a security net construction having a net placed on at least one frame connected to the edge of the deck and a net support bar passing through the edges of the said net in order to ensure the safety of goods and living beings on the ship deck.
[0004] PRIOR ART
[0005] During the landing of helicopters on the deck of the ship, safety problems may occur due to various environmental factors. Especially in rough seas, the ship is constantly moving up and down and left and right. These movements complicate the landing of the helicopter on the deck.
[0006] Apart from the wave factor of the sea, wind conditions on the high seas vary considerably. Accordingly, strong winds and sudden weather changes can destabilize the helicopter during landing and make it difficult to control. When landing on the deck of the ship at night or in bad weather conditions, the visibility of the pilots may be limited. This makes it difficult to land safely on the deck. The ship's deck can be slippery, especially due to rain or sea water. This increases the risk that the helicopter will slip or lose control during landing. Apart from all these environmental factors, ship decks generally have limited areas, making it difficult to ensure the safety of goods and living beings during landing and take-off.
[0007] As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to make an innovation in the relevant technical field.
[0008] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The present invention relates to a surface detection system in order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and to bring new advantages to the relevant technical field. One object of the invention is to provide a security net construction that is both facilitated to manufacture and assemble and improves mobility in order to ensure the safety of goods and living beings in marine vessels.
[0010] In order to achieve all the objects mentioned above and to be deduced from the detailed explanation below, the present invention relates to a security net construction having a net placed on at least one frame connected to the edge of the deck and a net support bar passing through the edges of the said net in order to ensure the safety of goods and living beings on the ship deck. Accordingly, in order to obtain a security net construction that can act independently of each other on the ship, the novelty is that the said frame comprises at least one lower frame and at least one upper frame, comprises a connection slot for the net support bar to be placed between the said lower frame and the upper frame, comprises at least one mounting hole on one of the two and at least one mounting element on the other for connecting the lower frame and the upper frame to each other. Thus, a security net construction that can act independently of each other on the ship can be provided.
[0011] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one channel on one of the two and at least one protrusion on the other to be associated with the channel so that the lower frame and the upper frame can be positioned concentrically. Thus, the frames can be positioned concentrically and have protrusions and channel structures to prevent them from slipping.
[0012] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that the said channel is on the lower frame, and the said protrusion is on the upper frame. Thus, the frames can be positioned concentrically and have protrusions and channel structures to prevent them from slipping.
[0013] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that the said mounting hole is of threaded structure and the said mounting element is a bolt to be associated with this threaded structure. Thus, the connection of the lower frame and the upper frame is ensured. Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that the frame is made of aluminum-based material to improve the corrosion resistance thereof. Thus, the frame becomes more resistant to sea water and steam.
[0014] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that the frame comprises at least three profiles. Thus, a polygonal security net construction is formed that ensures the safety of goods and living beings.
[0015] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized by the fact that it comprises a net support bar made of plastic material. Thus, a low-cost net support bar is obtained.

[0023] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0024] In this detailed explanation, the subject of the invention is explained only with examples that will not create any limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject. With reference to Fig. 1 , a security net construction (10) of the present invention is placed side by side preferably along the edge of the deck (1 a) on the decks (1) of the ships in order to ensure the safety of the goods and people during the landing and / or take-off of the helicopter on the deck (1 ). The security net construction (10) provides advantages for the user in terms of property and life safety as well as the helicopter’s safety.
[0025] With reference to Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b, the aforementioned security net construction (10) basically consists of a safety net (30) located between two interconnected frames (11). The said frames (11 ) are called a lower frame (11a) and an upper frame (11 b). The frame (11) is basically connected in such a way that the corners of at least three profiles (12) are in full contact with each other by a suitable connection method, forming a joint surface (13) and forming a closed polygon. In a preferred embodiment, four profiles (12) are combined to form a quadrangular security net construction (10). In the present embodiment, the profiles (12) are joined together by welding and made into a monolithic frame (11). Profiles (12) are preferably made of aluminum-based material. In this way, a structure with increased corrosion resistance against sea water and steam is obtained.
[0026] The said security net (30) generally comprises a net (32) and a net support bar (31) that passes along the edges of the said net (32). The said net support bar (31) is preferably made of plastic. The net support bar (31 ) is made of metal material in an alternative configuration. The net (30), on the other hand, defines the entirety of the thread woven in a predetermined way to prevent falling into the sea through the gap in the frame (11 ).
[0027] Referring to Fig. 3, the security net construction (10) is shifted from the closed position (KK) to the open position (AK) when necessary during the security needs, or from the open position (AK) to the closed position (KK) when the security need is eliminated by means of an adjustment mechanism (40). The said adjustment mechanism (40) comprises an adjustment rod (41), which is generally located between the security net construction (10) and the edge of the deck (1a), and a deck fastener (43) that allows the said adjustment rod (41) to connect with the edge of the deck (1 a). The adjustment rod (41) is located to position the security net construction (10) at the edge of the deck (1a) in the open position (AK) and closed position (KK). The end of the adjustment rod (41 ) preferably comprises a pull latch (42). Thanks to the said pull latch (42), manual positioning can be achieved.
[0028] Referring to Figs. 3 and 4, the security net (30) is placed on the lower frame (11 a) to obtain the security net construction (10). It is then placed on top of the upper frame (11 b), lower frame (11 a) and security net (30). In order to prevent the frames (11) from slipping after they are positioned on top of each other and to help in positioning, the parts where the frames (11 ) come into contact comprise a protrusion (23) and a channel (22) configuration. In an exemplary embodiment, the lower frame (11 a) comprises the said channel (22), and the said protrusion (23) on the upper frame (11 b) is located in the channel (22). In another exemplary embodiment, the lower frame (11a) comprises a protrusion (23) and is located in the channel (22) of the upper frame (11 b). Thanks to these structures, the frames (11 ) are prevented from slipping. There is a mounting hole (50) on the frame (11 ) for fastening the lower frame (11 a) and the upper frame (11 b) together. The fastening process is completed by passing a mounting element (51) through the said mounting hole (50). The mounting hole (50) is preferably of a threaded structure. In a preferred embodiment, the mounting element (51) is a bolt.
[0029] After the lower frame (11a) and the upper frame (11b) are fully seated on top of each other, a C or U-shaped connection slot (20) is formed. There is an opening (21) at the end of the said connection slot (20). The exit of the net is provided through the said opening (21).
[0030] Thanks to the fact that each of the security net constructions (10) located side by side along the edges of the deck (1 a) has only one connection slot (20), each security net construction (10) turns into an independent modular structure. Depending on the need, some of the security net constructions (10) are positioned in the open position (AK), while some of them are positioned in the closed position (KK).
[0031] The protection scope of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be limited to what is described for illustrative purposes in this detailed description. It is clear that a person skilled in the art can produce similar embodiments in the light of what is explained above, without deviating from the main theme of the invention.
