[0091] In some embodiments, the 5G system introduces a central repository for NF (Network Function) profile management which is the NRF (Network Repository Function) . Each NF in the network can register its NF profile to the NRF and can discover other NFs from the NRF. The NF profile is a combination of the configuration parameters of a specific NF. To avoid the configuration of duplicated configuration of NF profile data, those duplicated configuration can be extracted as shared profile data and stored in the NRF, and subsequently re-used by multiple NFs. Some embodiments of the present disclosure related to authorization of  the access to the shared profile data in the NRF.

[0092] FIG. 1 shows the 5G architecture for supporting the 5G Local Area Network (LAN) Virtual Network (VN) group service according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In FIG. 1, the N19 interface is introduced to support the traffic local switching within one User Plane Function (UPF) or among multiple UPFs serving one specific VN group.

[0093] In FIG. 1, there are the following network functions:

[0094] 1) User Equipment (UE) .

[0095] 2) RAN (Radio Access Network) . In 5G, it is a New Radio (NR) base station.

[0096] 3) AMF (Access and Mobility Management function) . This function includes the following functionalities: Registration management, Connection management, Reachability management and / or Mobility Management. This function also performs the access authentication and access authorization. The AMF is the Non-Access-Stratum (NAS) security termination and handles the Session Management (SM) NAS between the UE and the SMF (Session Management Function) , etc.

[0097] 4) SMF (Session Management Function) . This function includes the following functionalities: session establishment, modification and release, UE Internet Protocol (IP) address allocation and management (including optional authorization functions) , selection and control of uplink (UP) function, downlink data notification, etc. The SMF controls the UPF via the N4 association.

[0098] 5) UPF (User Plane Function) . This function includes the following functionalities: serving as an anchor point for intra- / inter-radio access technology (RAT) mobility, packet routing and forwarding, traffic usage reporting, Quality of service (QoS) handling for the user plane, downlink packet buffering and downlink data notification triggering, etc. The UPF may be deployed as the I-UPF (Intermediate UPF) or the Packet Data Unit (PDU) Session Anchor (PSA) . The PSA / UPF is the UPF terminating the N6 interface towards the data network. The I-UPF provides the traffic forwarding between the RAN and PSA / UPF. The I-UPF may support the "ULCL" (Uplink classifier: offloading uplink traffic based on target IP address) or “the BP” (Branching point: offloading uplink traffic based on source IP address) to offload some traffic to the local PSA / UPF.

[0099] 6) UDM (Unified Data Management Function) . The UDM provides various kinds of subscription data of a UE (e.g., to the AMF for access and mobility management, or to the SMF for PDU session management, etc. ) . The UDM also handles the AMF registration from the AMF to record the serving AMF of a UE, or handles the SMF registration from the SMF to record the PDU session information, etc.

[0100] 7) PCF (Policy Control Function) . The PCF provides QoS policy rules to control plane functions to enforce the rules. The PCF (s) transform (s) the Application Function (AF) requests into policies that apply to PDU Sessions. The PCF provides the AF influenced Traffic Steering Enforcement Control in PCC rules to the SMF. Therefore, the SMF can establish the data path to offload the traffic to the local data network.

[0101] 8) NRF (Network Repository Function) . The NRF allows any NF in the network to register its NF profile in the NRF. The NRF provides discovery service to any NF to find other NFs in the network.

[0102] In some embodiments, as per existing procedure, the NRF stores the profile of various type of NFs deployed in the network. The NF profile of one individual NF is registered to the NRF before it can be discovered by other NFs. The NF profile registration is done by the individual NF itself or by the Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) system.

[0103] FIG. 2 shows the NF Registration procedure according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the NF Registration procedure allows one NF to register its own NF profile to the NRF. In some embodiments, the NF Registration procedure happens when the NF is deployed in the network, or when the NF is power on.

[0104] In some embodiments, the procedure may include at least one of the following operations.

[0105] A1. The NF#1 sends the NF Registration request to the NRF including its NF profile. In some embodiments, the NF profile carries the key parameters of the requesting NF. In some embodiments, the key parameters may include at least one of: NF Instance Identifier, NF type, NF status, IP address and / or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) , list of supported Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) , list of supported service area (e.g., Tracking Area Identity (TAI) list) , list of supported PLMN, list of supported services, etc.

[0106] A2. The NRF checks the validity of the NF profile. In some embodiments, the NRF stores the NF profile in its storage.

[0107] A3. The NRF sends the NF Registration response to the NF#1. If the request is successful, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) response code (e.g., 200 OK) may be indicated in the response message.

[0108] B1. Substantially the same as operations A1 to A3, the NF#2 registers its NF profile to the NRF.

[0109] C1. Substantially the same as operations A1 to A3, the NF#x registers its NF profile to the NRF.

[0110] In some embodiments, after registering its NF profile to the NRF, one NF (e.g., the NF#2) can be discovered by another NF (e.g., the NF#1) .

[0111] FIG. 3 illustrates the NF Discovery procedure according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the NF Discovery allows one NF to request the NRF to discover other NFs by providing appropriate query parameters.

[0112] In some embodiments, the procedure may include at least one of the following operations.

[0113] 1. The NF#1 sends the NF Discovery request to the NRF including the query parameters. In some embodiments, the query parameters are used by the NRF to filter and discover candidate NFs.

[0114] For example, the query parameters may indicate the NF Instance Identifier of the target NF, the NF type of the target NF, the NF status of the target NF, the service area of the target NF, etc.

[0115] 2. The NRF performs internal logic for filtering the candidate NFs using the input query parameters.

[0116] 3. The NRF sends NF Discover response to the NF#1, including the NF profile list of candidate NFs.

[0117] For example, if the NF#2 and the NF#x are discovered, the returned NF profile list includes the NF profile of the NF#2 and the NF#x.

[0118] 4. On receiving the candidate NF profile list, the NF#1 may select one NF from the returned NF profile list for future usage. In some embodiments, the NF#1 may cache the result in its local storage.

[0119] In the procedure described above, each NF has its own configuration data and needs to register its own NF profile to the NRF. However, in certain cases, different NFs may be configured with same parameters with same values. For example, multiple SMFs serving same Data Network Name (s) (DNN (s) ) . In some embodiments, same service area (s) are configured in each NF profile with same DNN configurations and same service areas in representation of same TAI lists.

[0120] In some embodiments, to overcome the duplication of the parameter configuration in the NF profile, the sharable profile data can be separately registered to the NRF with a linkage to the shareable profile data recorded in each impacted NF profile.

[0121] In some embodiments, the duplicated configuration can be separated from the NF profile and organized as the shared profile data. The registration of the shared profile data to the NRF can be done by the OAM system, or by one NF that has association to the shared profile data.

[0122] In some embodiments, any individual NF that has association to one specific shared profile data can manage the shared profile data stored in the NRF (e.g., sending Registration, Update and / or Delete request (s) to the NRF to register, modify, and / or delete the shared profile data) .

[0123] In some embodiments, to simplify the management of the shared profile data in the NRF and reduce the potential management conflict to the shared profile data, the operator may control the access (e.g., read and / or write operation) to the shared profile data in the NRF. For example, the read operation is open to any NF that has association to the shared profile data, while the write operation is limited to only one dedicate NF.

[0124] In the paragraphs below, to support the above access authorization to the shared profile data, procedures for the NRF to control the authorization to the shared profile data in some embodiments of the present disclosure will be introduced.

[0125] In the paragraphs below, some aspects of the present disclosure are provided, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Besides, different aspects described below can be combined unless expressly stated otherwise. Furthermore, the network functions (e.g., the NF11, NF12, NF13, NF21, NF22, NF23, NF31, NF32, and NF33) described in the aspects below can be various kind of network functions, such as UE, RAN, SMF, AMF, PCF, UDM, UPF, etc.

[0126] Aspect 1:

[0127] FIG. 4 illustrates the initial configuration and / or registration of shared profile data in the NRF according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the shared profile data contains the shared profile authorization information.

[0128] In some embodiments, the procedure may include at least one of the following operations.

[0129] In some embodiments, the initial configuration of the shared profile data in the NRF may be performed by the OAM system (see operation 1a) , or by one particular NF (see operation 1b) .

[0130] 1a. The OAM system performs a configuration of the shared profile data (e.g., an initial shared profile data configuration) with the NRF. In some embodiments, the OAM system performs the configuration by transmitting the shared profile data to the NRF (e.g., via the operator specific interface) .

[0131] 1b. One NF (e.g., the NF11) performs a configuration of the shared profile data (e.g., an initial shared profile data configuration) with the NRF. In some embodiments, said NF performs the configuration via the public NRF interface.

[0132] In some embodiments, the NF11 sends a request for a registration of the shared profile data (e.g., the Shared Profile Registration Request) to the NRF. In some embodiments, the request may include the shared profiled data. In some embodiments, the shared profile data may include at least one of: the shared profile id (e.g., an identifier of the shared profile data) , the shared profile authorization information, and / or the shared parameters.

[0133] In some embodiments, the shared profile id is used to uniquely identify one shared profile data in the scope of at least the target NRF, or in the scope of the entire operator PLMN (e.g., across all NRFs deployed in the operator PLMN) .

[0134] In some embodiments, the shared profile authorization information indicates the scope of the target NF (s) which can access the shared profile data. The shared profile authorization information may set at least one of:

[0135] (a) set write access of the shared profile data to a list of NF (s) , wherein each NF is identified by an NF Instance ID;

[0136] (b) set read access of the shared profile data to a list of NF (s) , wherein each NF is identified by an NF Instance ID;

[0137] (c) set write access of the shared profile data to a list of NF SET (s) (e.g., an NF SET includes a set of NF (s) ) , wherein each NF SET is identified by an NF SET ID;

[0138] (d) set read access of the shared profile data to a list of NF SET (s) , wherein each NF SET is identified by an NF SET ID;

[0139] (e) set read access of the shared profile data to any NF that needs to discover one NF associated with the shared profile data (e.g., the NF may include a shared profile id pointing to the shared profile data) ; and / or

[0140] (f) set read access of the shared profile data to any NF.

[0141] For option (e) , the NRF may temporarily remember the requesting NF that previously discovers  certain NF (s) from the NRF, and the discovered NFs include a shared profile ID pointing to the related shared profile data. Alternatively, the requesting NF may include an identifier of the certain NF when it retrieves the shared profile data from the NRF, so that the NRF can verify that the requesting can match the option (e) criteria.

[0142] In some embodiments, if an operator wants to simplify the setting of read access and / or if the shared profile data is not content sensitive, option (f) might be simply used. For option (f) , any NF can read the shared profile data from the NRF. The scope of said any NF covers the NF (s) that wants to discover one NF which is associated with the shared profile data as described in option (e) , the NF (s) with an NF profile associated with the share profile data, and / or any other NFs. With such a configuration, the authorization control for read access can be simplified. In some embodiments, by applying option (f) , only write access needs to be controlled.

[0143] In some embodiments, the NRF stores the shared profile data in its storage. In some embodiments, the NRF sends a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Registration Response) to the NF11.

[0144] 2. The NF12 sends a request (e.g., the NF Registration Request) to the NRF to register its NF profile. In some embodiments, the NF profile carries the shared profile id pointing to the shared profile data.

[0145] In some embodiments, the NRF checks if the shared profile is a valid shared profile id. In some embodiments, if the shared profile id is not valid, the NRF returns the reason of failure (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_NOT_EXIST” ) . In some embodiments, the reason of failure is to indicate the indicated shared profile data does not exist in the NRF.

[0146] In some embodiments, if the shared profile id is a valid shared profile id, the NRF stores the NF profile (including the shared profile id) of the NF12 in its storage. In some embodiments, the NRF sends the NF Registration Response to the NF12.

[0147] In subsequent messages, the NF12 may send a request (e.g., the NF Update Request) to the NRF to update its NF profile (e.g., to update the shared profile id in its NF profile) .

[0148] 3. Substantially the same as operation 2, the NF13 transmits a request (e.g., the NF Registration Request to the NRF) to register its NF profile to the NRF.

[0149] In some embodiments, the NF11 can also transmit a request (e.g., the NF Registration Request to the NRF) to register its NF profile to the NRF with the operation (s) substantially identical to those described in operation 2 above.

[0150] Aspect 2:

[0151] Once a shared profile data (e.g., a shared profile data used by SMF (s) ) is registered in the NRF, any individual NF (e.g., an SMF) that wants to use that shared profile data can register and / or update its own NF profile to the NRF. For example, the NF may transmit the NF profile data containing the shared profile id points to that share profile to the NRF. Through this method, an individual NF creates association between its own NF profile and that shared profile data.

[0152] FIG. 5 illustrates the NF Registration procedure according to an embodiment of the present  disclosure. In some embodiments, the NF Registration procedure allows one NF to indicate the shared profile id in its own NF profile to the NRF. In some embodiments, the procedure may include at least one of the following operations.

[0153] 1. The NF21 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, or the NF13 described in Aspect 1) sends a request (e.g., an NF Registration request) for a registration of the NF21 to the NRF. In some embodiments, the request carries the NF profile of the NF21. In some embodiments, in this operation, as the NF21 wants to use one shared profile data as a basic configuration of its own NF profile, it includes the shared profile id which points to that shared profile data.

[0154] 2. The NRF checks the validity of the NF profile. In some embodiments, the NRF checks whether the indicated shared profile data exists in the NRF. In some embodiments, the NRF checks whether the NF21 is authorized to use the shared profile data as a basic configuration the NF profile of the NF21 (e.g., the shared profile authorization information described in Aspect 1 may include such information) .

[0155] 3a. If the request (e.g., the NF Registration Request) is successful (e.g., the NF profile is valid, the NF profile exists in the NRF, and / or the NF21 is authorized to use the shared profile data as a basic configuration the NF profile of the NF21) , the NRF may send a response (e.g., the NF Registration response) to the NF21. In some embodiments, the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) response code 200 OK is indicated in the response.

[0156] 3b. If the NF Registration Request is failed (e.g., the NF profile is invalid, the NF profile does not exist in the NRF, and / or the NF21 is not authorized to use the shared profile data as a basic configuration the NF profile of the NF21) , the NRF may send a response (e.g., the NF Registration Response) to the NF21, carrying appropriate failure code.

[0157] For example, if the shared profile data does not exist in the NRF, a failure code (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_NOT_EXIST” ) may be carried in the response to indicate that the shared profile data does not exist. As another example, if the shared profile data is not allowed to be shared to the requesting NF, a failure code (e.g. “SHARED_PROFILE_READ_NOT_ALLOWED” , or “SHARED_PROFILE_REFERTO_NOT_ALLOWED” ) may be carried in the response to indicate that the shared profile data is not allowed to be shared to this requesting NF.

[0158] In some embodiments, the NF22 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, or the NF13 described in Aspect 1) or the NF23 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, or the NF13 described in Aspect 1) may perform a registration to the NRF with operations substantially identical to those described above.

[0159] Aspect 3:

[0160] In some embodiments, with the shared profile authorization information configured in the shared profile data, the NRF can control which NF can have access to write and / or read the shared profile data.

[0161] FIG. 6 illustrates the shared profile data update procedure and retrieval procedure according to an  embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the NRF performs authorization check (s) to access the shared profile data.

[0162] In some embodiments, the procedure may include at least one of the following operations.

[0163] A1. The NF31 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, the NF13, the NF21, the NF22, or the NF23 described in Aspect 1 or 2) sends a request (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Request) for updating a shared profile data to the NRF. In some embodiments, the request carries modification information to modify the indicated shared profile data. In some embodiments, the request may carry an updated shared profile data to replace the indicated shared profile data. In some embodiments, the request may carry one or more updated parameters to modify the indicated shared profile data.

[0164] A2. The NRF checks if the indicated shared profile data exists in the NRF. If the indicated shared profile data does not exist, the NRF may send a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) to the NF31. In some embodiments, the response (e.g., Shared Profile Update Response) includes the failure code (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_NOT_EXIST” ) . In some embodiments, the failure code may indicate that the shared profile data does not exist.

[0165] In some embodiments, the NRF may check the shared profile authorization information. If the requesting NF (e.g., the NF31) is not authorized to write the shared profile data, the NRF may send a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) to the NF31. In some embodiments, the response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) includes the failure code (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_WRITE_NOT_ALLOWED” ) . In some embodiments, the failure code is to indicate that the requesting NF is not authorized to write the shared profile data.

[0166] If the requesting NF (e.g., the NF31) is authorized to write the shared profile data and / or the indicated shared profile data exists in the NRF, the NRF performs an update to the shared profile data. In some embodiments, in such a case, the NRF sends a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) including the success code. The success code may indicate that the shared profile data does not exist.

[0167] For example, in operation A2, the NF31 is authorized to perform write access to the shared profile data, and therefore the NRF may send the Shared Profile Update Response including the success code.

[0168] B1. The NF32 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, the NF13, the NF21, the NF22, or the NF23 described in Aspect 1 or 2) sends a request (e.g., the Shared Profile Retrieval Request) for retrieving shared profile data to the NRF. In some embodiments, the NF32 sends the request including the shared profile id indicating the shared profile data the NF32 intends to retrieve.

[0169] B2. The NRF checks if the indicated shared profile data exists in the NRF. If the indicated shared profile data does not exist, the NRF may send a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Retrieval Response) to the NF32. In some embodiments, the response (e.g., the Shared Profile Retrieval Response) includes the failure code (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_NOT_EXIST” ) . In some embodiments, the failure code is to indicate that the shared profile data does not exist.

[0170] In some embodiments, the NRF may check the shared profile authorization information. In some embodiments, if the requesting NF (e.g., the NF32) is not authorized to read the shared profile data, the NRF may send a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) to the NF32. In some embodiments, the response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) may include the failure code (e.g., “SHARED_PROFILE_READ_NOT_ALLOWED” ) . In some embodiments, the failure code is to indicate that the requesting NF is not authorized to read the shared profile data.

[0171] In some embodiments, if the requesting NF (e.g., the NF32) is authorized to read the shared profile data and / or the indicated shared profile data exists in the NRF, the NRF may send a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Retrieval Response) including the requested shared profile data.

[0172] For example, in operation B2, if the NF32 is authorized to perform the read operation to the shared profile data and the shared profile data exists in the NRF, the NRF may send the Shared Profile Retrieval Response including the requested shared profile data.

[0173] C1 and C2. Substantially identical to operations A1 and A2, the NF33 (may be identical to or different from the NF11, the NF12, the NF13, the NF21, the NF22, or the NF23 described in Aspect 1 or 2) sends a request (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Request) to the NRF to modify the shared profile data.

[0174] In some embodiments, the NRF performs the checks substantially identical to operations A1and A2. In some embodiments, the NRF responds the request correspondingly.

[0175] For example, in the operations C1 and C2, the NF33 is not authorized to perform the write operation to the shared profile data, the NRF sends a response (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Response) including the failure code. In some embodiments, the failure code is to indicate the requesting NF (e.g., the NF32) is not authorized to write the shared profile data.

[0176] In some embodiments, the NF31 or the NF33 may also send a request (e.g., the Shared Profile Retrieval Request) for retrieving shared profile data to the NRF. Details in this regard can be ascertained by referring to operations B1 and B2 and will not be described herein.

[0177] Similarly, in some embodiments, the NF32 may also send a request (e.g., the Shared Profile Update Request) for updating a shared profile data to the NRF. Details in this regard can be ascertained by referring to operations A1 and A2 and will not be described herein.

[0178] Using the procedure described above, the NRF performs authorization check when it receives request (s) to read and / or write the shared profile data.

[0233] Details in this regard can be ascertained with reference to the paragraphs above, and will not be repeated herein.

[0234] In some embodiments, the repository node used in the present disclosure may indicate the NRF described above.

[0235] In some embodiments, the first network node used in the present disclosure may indicate the network function (e.g., the NF31, NF32, or NF33) transmitting the request for updating the shared profile data and / or the request for retrieving shared profile data described above.

[0236] In some embodiments, the second network node used in the present disclosure may indicate a network function (e.g., the NF11) sending a request for a registration of the shared profile data described above.

[0237] In some embodiments, the message comprising shared profile data in the present disclosure may be the request for a registration of the shared profile data (e.g., the Shared Profile Registration Request) described above.

[0238] While various embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, it should be understood that they have been presented by way of example only, and not by way of limitation. Likewise, the various diagrams may depict an example architectural or configuration, which are provided to enable persons of ordinary skill in the art to understand exemplary features and functions of the present disclosure. Such persons would understand, however, that the present disclosure is not restricted to the illustrated example architectures or configurations, but can be implemented using a variety of alternative architectures and configurations. Additionally, as would be understood by persons of ordinary skill in the art, one or more features of one embodiment can be combined with one or more features of another embodiment described herein. Thus, the breadth and scope of the present disclosure should not be limited by any one of the above-described exemplary embodiments.

[0239] It is understood that, in the present disclosure, the term “and / or” or symbol “ / ” may include any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items. For example, A and / or B and / or C includes any and all combinations of one or more of A, B, and C, including A, B, C, A and B, A and C, B and C, and a combination of A and B and C. Likewise, A / B / C includes any and all combinations of one or more of A, B, and C, including A, B, C, A and B, A and C, B and C, and a combination of A and B and C.

[0240] It is also understood that any reference to an element herein using a designation such as "first, " "second, " and so forth does not generally limit the quantity or order of those elements. Rather, these designations can be used herein as a convenient means of distinguishing between two or more elements or instances of an element. Thus, a reference to first and second elements does not mean that only two elements can be employed, or that the first element must precede the second element in some manner.

[0241] Additionally, a person having ordinary skill in the art would understand that information and signals can be represented using any one of a variety of different technologies and techniques. For example, data, instructions, commands, information, signals, bits and symbols, for example, which may be referenced in the above description can be represented by voltages, currents, electromagnetic waves, magnetic fields or particles, optical fields or particles, or any combination thereof.

[0242] A skilled person would further appreciate that any one of the various illustrative logical blocks, units, processors, means, circuits, methods and functions described in connection with the aspects disclosed herein can be implemented by electronic hardware (e.g., a digital implementation, an analog implementation, or a combination of the two) , firmware, various forms of program or design code incorporating instructions (which can be referred to herein, for convenience, as "software" or a "software unit” ) , or any combination of these techniques.

[0243] To clearly illustrate this interchangeability of hardware, firmware and software, various illustrative components, blocks, units, circuits, operations, and steps have been described above generally in terms of their functionality. Whether such functionality is implemented as hardware, firmware or software, or a combination of these techniques, depends upon the particular application and design constraints imposed on the overall system. Skilled artisans can implement the described functionality in various ways for each particular application, but such implementation decisions do not cause a departure from the scope of the present disclosure. In accordance with various embodiments, a processor, device, component, circuit, structure, machine, unit, etc. can be configured to perform one or more of the functions described herein. The term “configured to” or “configured for” as used herein with respect to a specified operation or function refers to a processor, device, component, circuit, structure, machine, unit, etc. that is physically constructed, programmed and / or arranged to perform the specified operation or function.

[0244] Furthermore, a skilled person would understand that various illustrative logical blocks, units, devices, components and circuits described herein can be implemented within or performed by an integrated circuit (IC) that can include a general-purpose processor, a digital signal processor (DSP) , an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) , a field programmable gate array (FPGA) or other programmable logic device, or any combination thereof. The logical blocks, units, and circuits can further include antennas and / or transceivers to communicate with various components within the network or within the device. A general-purpose processor can be a microprocessor, but in the alternative, the processor can be any conventional processor, controller, or state machine. A processor can also be implemented as a combination of computing devices, e.g., a combination of a DSP and a microprocessor, a plurality of microprocessors, one or more microprocessors in conjunction with a DSP core, or any other suitable configuration to perform the functions described herein. If implemented in software, the functions can be stored as one or more instructions or code on a computer-readable medium. Thus,  the steps or operations of a method or algorithm disclosed herein can be implemented as software stored on a computer-readable medium.

[0245] Computer-readable media includes both computer storage media and communication media including any medium that can be enabled to transfer a computer program or code from one place to another. A storage media can be any available media that can be accessed by a computer. By way of example, and not limitation, such computer-readable media can include RAM, ROM, EEPROM, CD-ROM or other optical disk storage, magnetic disk storage or other magnetic storage devices, or any other medium that can be used to store desired program code in the form of instructions or data structures and that can be accessed by a computer.

[0246] In this document, the term "unit" as used herein, refers to software, firmware, hardware, and any combination of these elements for performing the associated functions described herein. Additionally, for purpose of discussion, the various units are described as discrete units; however, as would be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art, two or more units may be combined to form a single unit that performs the associated functions according to embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0247] Additionally, memory or other storage, as well as communication components, may be employed in embodiments of the present disclosure. It will be appreciated that, for clarity purposes, the above description has described embodiments of the present disclosure with reference to different functional units and processors. However, it will be apparent that any suitable distribution of functionality between different functional units, processing logic elements or domains may be used without detracting from the present disclosure. For example, functionality illustrated to be performed by separate processing logic elements, or controllers, may be performed by the same processing logic element, or controller. Hence, references to specific functional units are only references to a suitable means for providing the described functionality, rather than indicative of a strict logical or physical structure or organization.

[0248] Various modifications to the implementations described in this disclosure will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the general principles defined herein can be applied to other implementations without departing from the scope of the claims. Thus, the disclosure is not intended to be limited to the implementations shown herein, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the novel features and principles disclosed herein, as recited in the claims below.
