[0023] 1 , a collection of multiple devices may be treated as one third server 40. The way in which multiple functions required to realize the third server 40 according to this embodiment are allocated to one or multiple pieces of hardware can be determined appropriately in consideration of the processing capacity of each piece of hardware and / or the specifications required for the third server 40.

[0024] Each information processing device is configured by a computer equipped with an arithmetic unit and a storage device. The basic hardware configuration of the computer and the basic functional configuration of the computer realized by the hardware configuration will be described later. For each of the terminal device 10, the first server 20, the second server 30, and the third server 40, descriptions that overlap with the basic hardware configuration and basic functional configuration of the computer will be omitted.

[0025] <1.1 Configuration of Terminal Device> Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing an example configuration of the terminal device 10 shown in Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the terminal device 10 includes a communication unit 120, an input device 13, an output device 14, an audio processing unit 17, a microphone 171, a speaker 172, a camera 160, a position information sensor 150, a storage unit 180, and a control unit 190. The blocks included in the terminal device 10 are electrically connected by, for example, a bus or the like.

[0026] The communication unit 120 performs processing such as modulation and demodulation for the terminal device 10 to communicate with other devices. The communication unit 120 performs transmission processing on the signal generated by the control unit 190 and transmits it to the outside (for example, the first server 20). The communication unit 120 performs reception processing on the signal received from the outside and outputs it to the control unit 190.

The audio processing unit 17 also provides the audio signal to the speaker 172. The audio processing unit 17 is realized, for example, by a processor for audio processing. The microphone 171 receives audio input and provides an audio signal corresponding to the audio input to the audio processing unit 17. The speaker 172 converts the audio signal provided from the audio processing unit 17 into audio and outputs the audio to the outside of the terminal device 10.

[0030] The camera 160 is a device that receives light with a light receiving element and outputs the light as a photographing signal.

[0031] The position information sensor 150 is a sensor that detects the position of the terminal device 10, and is, for example, a GPS (Global Positioning System) module. The GPS module is a receiving device used in a satellite positioning system. The satellite positioning system receives signals from at least three or four satellites and detects the current position of the terminal device 10 equipped with the GPS module based on the received signals. The position information sensor 150 may detect the current position of the terminal device 10 from the position of the wireless base station to which the terminal device 10 is connected.

[0032] The storage unit 180 is realized by, for example, the memory 15, the storage 16, etc., and stores data and programs used by the terminal device 10. The storage unit 180 stores, for example, user information 181.

[0033] The user information 181 includes, for example, information about the user who uses the terminal device 10. The information about the user includes, for example, the user's name, age, address, date of birth, contact information, and the like.

[0034] The control unit 190 is realized by the processor 19 reading a program stored in the storage unit 180 and executing instructions included in the program. The control unit 190 controls the operation of the terminal device 10. By operating in accordance with the program, the control unit 190 fulfills the functions of an operation reception unit 191, a transmission / reception unit 192, and a display control unit 194.

[0035] The operation reception unit 191 performs processing for receiving instructions or information input from the input device 13. Specifically, for example, the operation reception unit 191 receives instructions or information input from the touch-sensitive device 131 or the like.

[0036] The operation acceptance unit 191 also accepts voice instructions input from the microphone 171. Specifically, for example, the operation acceptance unit 191 receives a voice signal that is input from the microphone 171 and converted into a digital signal by the voice processing unit 17. [0039] Furthermore, the transmitting / receiving unit 192 performs processing for the terminal device 10 to transmit and receive data to and from external devices such as the third server 40 in accordance with a communication protocol. Specifically, for example, the transmitting / receiving unit 192 transmits information input by the user or instructions from the user to the third server 40. Furthermore, the transmitting / receiving unit 192 receives information provided by the third server 40.

[0040] The display control unit 193 controls the output device 14 to display information provided by the first server 20, the second server 30, and the third server 40 to the user.

[0041] 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of the functional configuration of the first server 20. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the first server 20 functions as a communication unit 201, a storage unit 202, and a control unit 203.

[0042] The communication unit 201 performs processing for the first server 20 to communicate with external devices.

[0043] The storage unit 202 includes, for example, a user information table 2021, a first personnel information table 2022, a management table 2023, an authority information table 2024, a web service information table 2025, a hardware information table 2026, and a second personnel information table 2027. Note that the tables stored in the storage unit 202 are not limited to these. For example, any of these tables may not be stored, or additional information may be stored. For example, the storage unit 202 may include a table that stores information about companies that use the web service management service.

[0044] The user information table 2021 is a table that stores information about users who use the management service of the web service. Details will be described later. A user who uses the management service of the web service is, for example, an employee (manager) whose job is to manage the information system.

[0045] The first personnel information table 2022 is a table that stores personnel information about employees of a specific company. Details will be described later.

[0046] The management table 2023 is a table that stores information about web services used by employees. The management table 2023 may also store information about hardware used by employees. Details will be described later.

[0047] The authority information table 2024 is a table that stores web service allocation rules that are set in advance according to the attributes of employees. The authority information table 2024 may also store hardware allocation rules that are set in advance according to the attributes of employees. Details will be described later.

[0048] The web service information table 2025 is a table that stores information about web services used by a company. Details will be described later.

[0049] The hardware information table 2026 is a table that stores information about hardware owned by a company, as will be described in detail later.

[0050] The second personnel information table 2027 is a table that temporarily stores personnel information managed by the personnel system. In this embodiment, the information stored in the second personnel information table 2027 is personnel information stored in the second server 30 that is read and stored at a predetermined timing. The predetermined timing is, for example, as follows: - A predetermined cycle - The timing when the personnel information is updated in the second server 30

[0051] The information items stored in the second personnel information table 2027 are, for example, the same as the information stored in the first personnel information table 2022.

[0052] The control unit 203 is realized by the processor 29 reading a program stored in the storage unit 202 and executing instructions included in the program. By operating in accordance with the program, the control unit 203 performs functions indicated as a reception control module 2031, a transmission control module 2032, a first management module 2033, a second management module 2034, a reading module 2035, a setting module 2036, a creation module 2037, an analysis module 2038, a proposal module 2039, an acquisition module 20310, and a presentation control module 20311.

[0053] The reception control module 2031 controls the process in which the first server 20 receives a signal from an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0054] The transmission control module 2032 controls the process in which the first server 20 transmits a signal to an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0055] The first management module 2033 manages the first personnel information table 2022. Specifically, if there is a difference between the personnel information read from the second server 30 and the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022, the first management module 2033 updates the first personnel information table 2022 based on the difference.

[0056] The first management module 2033 also manages web services used by employees of the company. Specifically, for example, it is necessary to update the settings of the web services when an employee joins the company, is transferred, or resigns. The first management module 2033 updates the accounts of the web services used by employees based on changes in personnel information, for example.

[0057] More specifically, the first management module 2033 updates the account of a web service used by an employee in the management table 2023 in response to an instruction from, for example, an employee (administrator) whose job is managing information systems. At this time, the first management module 2033 may, for example, receive from the administrator a specification of the timing for updating the account and update the account at the timing received. Alternatively, the first management module 2033 may update the account of a web service used by the administrator in the management table 2023 when updating personnel information without receiving an instruction from the administrator. When instructed to issue a new account, the first management module 2033 instructs the third server 40 that provides the corresponding web service to issue the account. When instructed to delete an existing account, the first management module 2033 instructs the third server 40 that provides the corresponding web service to delete the account.

[0058] The first management module 2033 manages, for example, the last date on which an employee logged in to an account assigned to a web service. For example, if a predetermined number of days have passed since the last login date, the first management module 2033 notifies the administrator via the presentation control module 20311 that there is an unused account. The administrator determines whether to delete or maintain the unused account. The first management module 2033 deletes accounts that the administrator determines are unnecessary. Even if an account is determined to be necessary and maintained, for example, the first management module 2033 counts the number of days the employee has not logged in, and deletes the account if a predetermined number of days have passed since the date on which the necessity of the account was confirmed.

[0059] The first management module 2033 detects web service accounts that employees are using without permission. Specifically, for example, the first management module 2033 detects accounts that are not managed in the management table 2023 based on information about web service accounts sent from the third server 40. The first management module 2033 notifies the administrator, for example, via the presentation control module 20311, that an account is being used without permission.

[0060] The first management module 2033 also manages hardware used by company employees. Specifically, for example, hardware needs to be prepared when an employee joins the company, is transferred, or retires. The first management module 2033 updates the hardware used by employees based on, for example, changes in personnel information. More specifically, the first management module 2033 updates the hardware used by employees in the management table 2023 in response to, for example, instructions from an administrator.

[0061] The second management module 2034 manages the purchase or disposal of supplies based on changes in personnel information. Specifically, for example, when an employee joins the company or is transferred, a company needs to prepare hardware supplies for the employee's use. The second management module 2034, for example, records the number of supplies purchased based on changes in personnel information. The second management module 2034 references the hardware information table 2026 and searches for the supplier, delivery route, etc. based on, for example, the workplace for which the supplies are to be prepared, the model of hardware such as PCs and smartphones, and the number of hardware purchased. The second management module 2034 presents information regarding the preparation of supplies to the administrator via, for example, the presentation control module 20311.

[0062] Furthermore, for example, a company may dispose of hardware equipment used by an employee when that employee retires. The second management module 2034 calculates the number of items to be disposed of, for example, based on changes in personnel information. The second management module 2034 references the hardware information table 2026 and searches for a disposal company based on, for example, the workplace where the equipment to be disposed of is located, the number of items to be disposed of, the type of equipment to be disposed of, and the like. The second management module 2034 presents information regarding the disposal of the equipment to an administrator, for example, via the presentation control module 20311.

[0063] The reading module 2035 reads personnel information managed by the personnel system from the personnel system at a predetermined timing. For example, the reading module 2035 instructs the second server 30 to transmit the stored personnel information several times a month. The several times a month may be, for example, the beginning, middle, or end of the month. The reading module 2035 may, for example, request personnel information from the second server 30 using an API (Application Programming Interface). The personnel information items requested for transmission correspond, for example, to the personnel information items stored in the first server 20. The second server 30 stores personnel information that includes more items than the personnel information stored in the first server 20. The first server 20, for example, requests a portion of the personnel information stored in the second server 30.

[0064] The reading module 2035 may gradually change the timing at which it requests personnel information from the personnel system. For example, the timing of joining, transfers, retirement, and the like varies from company to company. Therefore, the frequency at which personnel information is updated in the personnel system varies from company to company. For example, in the early stages of implementation, the reading module 2035 requests personnel information from the personnel system several times a month, or relatively frequently, such as once every few days. While switching the timing at which it requests personnel information, the reading module 2035 analyzes the number of changes to the information stored in the first personnel information table 2022. The reading module 2035 adjusts the request timing to, for example, a predetermined number of changes of a similar magnitude that are likely to occur. This enables the reading module 2035 to obtain personnel information from the second server 30 at a frequency and period appropriate for the company in which it is implemented.

[0065] The read module 2035 may request the personnel system to update the personnel information. The read module 2035 reads the updated personnel information in the personnel system.

[0066] The setting module 2036 sets the updated content of the web service account based on the changes in the personnel information. Specifically, for example, the setting module 2036 compares the personnel information read from the second server 30 with the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022. That is, the setting module 2036 extracts the differences between the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022 and the personnel information stored in the second personnel information table 2027. The setting module 2036 compares the attributes of the employee for whom the differences occurred with the authorization information table 2024 and obtains the changes to the web service used by the employee. The setting module 2036 sets the addition and / or deletion of an account based on the changes to the web service. That is, the setting module 2036 sets the updated content of the web service account.

[0067] The setting module 2036 also sets the details of hardware updates based on changes to personnel information. The setting module 2036 compares the attributes of the employee for whom the differences occurred with the authority information table 2024 and obtains changes to the hardware used by the employee. The setting module 2036 sets the preparation of new hardware and / or the disposal of existing hardware based on the changes to the hardware. That is, the setting module 2036 sets the details of hardware updates.

[0068] The creation module 2037 creates a report based on information about accounts assigned to the web services being used. Specifically, for example, the creation module 2037 creates a report showing the changes in the number of accounts for each web service. The creation module 2037 also creates a report showing the changes in expenses based on the number of accounts for each web service. The creation module 2037 also creates a report that summarizes, for example, information about accounts assigned to the web services being used, by employee attribute. The creation module 2037 may also create a report based on, for example, information about hardware being used by employees.

[0069] The creation module 2037 also creates a report that summarizes, for example, information about accounts assigned to the web services being used for each company. Specifically, for example, the creation module 2037 creates a report that tallies, for each company, the number of accounts or costs for a specific web service.

[0070] The analysis module 2038 analyzes personnel information of multiple companies and information about web services used by employees of these companies. For example, the first server 20 stores information about multiple companies, information about employees belonging to these companies, and information about web services used by these companies. The analysis module 2038 analyzes this information and obtains predetermined analysis results. Specifically, for example, the analysis module 2038 obtains web services that are likely to be used by companies of the same size as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also obtains, for example, the fees that companies of the same size pay for web services as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also obtains, for example, web services that are likely to be used by companies in the same industry as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also obtains, for example, the fees that companies in the same industry pay for web services as the analysis result.

[0071] The analysis module 2038 also analyzes personnel information of multiple companies and information about the hardware used by employees of these companies. The analysis module 2038 acquires, for example, hardware that is likely to be used by companies of the same size as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also acquires, for example, the costs that companies of the same size are paying for hardware as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also acquires, for example, hardware that is likely to be used by companies in the same industry as the analysis result. The analysis module 2038 also acquires, for example, the costs that companies in the same industry are paying for hardware as the analysis result.

[0072] The proposal module 2039 proposes web services that the company should use based on the analysis results. Specifically, for example, the proposal module 2039 proposes web services that are likely to be used by companies of the same size. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to reduce costs, for example, based on the costs that companies of the same size pay for web services. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to make better use of web services, for example, based on the costs that companies of the same size pay for web services.

[0073] The proposal module 2039 also proposes, for example, web services that are likely to be used by companies in the same industry. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to reduce costs, for example, based on the fees that companies in the same industry are paying for web services. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to make better use of web services, for example, based on the fees that companies in the same industry are paying for web services. The measures include, for example, changing the web service allocation rules set for each attribute that are stored in the authority information table 2024.

[0074] The proposal module 2039 proposes web services that a company should use at predetermined times, for example. The predetermined times include, for example, the following: When the contract renewal date falls within a predetermined period When a new web service is searched for by the administrator

[0075] Furthermore, the proposal module 2039 proposes hardware that the company should use based on the analysis results. Specifically, for example, the proposal module 2039 proposes hardware that is likely to be used by companies of the same size. Furthermore, the proposal module 2039 proposes measures to reduce costs, for example, based on the costs that companies of the same size pay for hardware. Furthermore, the proposal module 2039 proposes measures to introduce high-performance hardware, for example, based on the costs that companies of the same size pay for hardware.

[0076] The proposal module 2039 also proposes, for example, hardware that is likely to be used by companies in the same industry. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to reduce costs, for example, based on the costs that companies in the same industry are paying for hardware. The proposal module 2039 also proposes measures to introduce high-performance hardware, for example, based on the costs that companies in the same industry are paying for hardware. The measures include, for example, changing the hardware allocation rules set for each attribute that are stored in the authority information table 2024.

[0077] The suggestion module 2039 also suggests e-learning courses that employees should attend based on the managed web services, hardware, or a combination thereof. Specifically, for example, recommended skills to be acquired are preset for the web services, hardware, or a combination thereof assigned to an employee. Based on the settings, the suggestion module 2039 suggests e-learning courses related to the recommended skills to employees assigned to web services, hardware, or both. If an employee takes a suggested course, the first management module 2033 may, for example, manage the course taken by the employee. The first management module 2033 also manages course attendance, for example, and notifies employees on the day before the course that the course will be held the following day. The first management module 2033 also stores course attendance in a predetermined table.

[0078] The acquisition module 20310 acquires information about web service accounts. Specifically, for example, the acquisition module 20310 checks information about subscribed accounts for each web service based on the web service information table 2025. The acquisition module 20310 requests the number of subscribed accounts and identification information of employees associated with the accounts from each third server 40 that provides the web service, for example, using an API. The acquisition module 20310 receives the number of accounts and identification information of employees who have accounts from the third server 40 as information about web service accounts.

[0079] The acquisition module 20310 also acquires the last date on which the employee logged in to the web service via the assigned account. Specifically, for example, the acquisition module 20310 uses an API to request the employee's login data from the third server 40 that provides the web service. The acquisition module 20310 may also acquire the login data from a browser plug-in on the employee's terminal device 10.

[0080] The presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, information related to a web service account to the administrator. Specifically, for example, the presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, updated content of a web service set based on changes to personnel information to the administrator. The presentation control module 20311 also presents, for example, information related to hardware to the administrator. Specifically, for example, the presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, updated content of hardware set based on changes to personnel information to the administrator. The presentation control module 20311 also presents, for example, information related to the procurement or disposal of hardware to the administrator.

[0081] The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator (the accounts of) employees for whom a predetermined number of days have passed since their last login. The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator whether or not accounts for whom a predetermined number of days have passed since their last login are necessary.

[0082] The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator proposed changes to the web service, and proposed changes to the hardware.

[0083] The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator the costs that will be reduced when the account is deleted. The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator the costs that will be reduced when the web service being used is switched. The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator the costs that will change when the rules for allocating web services are changed. The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator the costs that will be reduced when the hardware being used is switched. The presentation control module 20311 also presents to the administrator the costs that will change when the rules for allocating hardware are changed.

[0084] In addition, the presentation control module 20311 presents the report created by the creation module 2037 to the administrator.

[0085] The presentation control module 20311 also presents e-learning courses that are recommended for employees to take.

[0086] 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of the functional configuration of the second server 30. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the second server 30 functions as a communication unit 301, a storage unit 302, and a control unit 303.

[0087] The communication unit 301 performs processing for the second server 30 to communicate with external devices.

[0088] The storage unit 302 includes, for example, a personnel information table 3021. The tables stored in the storage unit 302 are not limited to these. For example, tables other than the personnel information table 3021 may be stored.

[0089] The personnel information table 3021 is a table that stores, for example, personnel information of a company that receives services related to the personnel system provided by the second server 30. The information stored in the personnel information table 3021 is updated as necessary, for example, when an employee joins the company, is transferred, or retires. The information stored in the personnel information table 3021 may include more information than the information stored in the first personnel information table 2022.

[0090] The control unit 303 is realized by the processor reading a program stored in the storage unit 302 and executing instructions included in the program. The control unit 303 operates in accordance with the program to perform functions shown as a reception control module 3031, a transmission control module 3032, and a personnel management module 3033.

[0091] The reception control module 3031 controls the process in which the second server 30 receives a signal from an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0092] The transmission control module 3032 controls the process in which the second server 30 transmits a signal to an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0093] The personnel management module 3033, for example, manages personnel information of a company that receives services related to the personnel system provided by the second server 30. Specifically, for example, the personnel management module 3033 receives instructions from employees in the personnel department of the company. The personnel management module 3033 updates the personnel information stored in the personnel information table 3021 based on the instructions from the employees.

[0094] 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of the functional configuration of the third server 40. As shown in FIG. 5, the third server 40 functions as a communication unit 401, a storage unit 402, and a control unit 403.

[0095] The communication unit 401 performs processing for the third server 40 to communicate with external devices.

[0096] The storage unit 402 includes, for example, a user information table 4021. The tables stored in the storage unit 402 are not limited to these. For example, a table other than the user information table 4021 may be stored.

[0097] The user information table 4021 is a table that stores, for example, information about users of companies that receive services provided by the third server 40 .

[0098] The control unit 403 is realized by the processor reading a program stored in the storage unit 402 and executing instructions included in the program. The control unit 403 operates in accordance with the program to perform functions shown as a reception control module 4031, a transmission control module 4032, and a service provision module 4033.

[0099] The reception control module 4031 controls the process in which the third server 40 receives a signal from an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0100] The transmission control module 4032 controls the process in which the third server 40 transmits a signal to an external device in accordance with a communication protocol.

[0101] The service providing module 4033 provides services to users of companies that receive the services provided by the third server 40, for example.

[0102] 6 to 11 are diagrams showing the data structures of tables stored in the first server 20. Note that Figures 6 to 11 are merely examples and do not exclude data that is not listed. Furthermore, even data listed in the same table may be stored in separate storage areas in the storage unit.

[0103] Fig. 6 is a diagram showing the data structure of the user information table 2021. The user information table 2021 shown in Fig. 6 is a table having columns such as password, name, age, date of birth, gender, and address, with company ID and user ID as keys.

[0104] The company ID is an item that stores an identifier for uniquely identifying a company. The user ID is an item that stores an identifier for uniquely identifying a user. The password is an item that stores a password required when a user logs in to a service provided by the first server 20. The name is an item that stores the name of the user. The age is an item that stores the age of the user. The date of birth is an item that stores the date of birth of the user. The gender is an item that stores the gender of the user. The address is an item that stores the location of the user.

[0105] Fig. 7 is a diagram showing the data structure of the first personnel information table 2022. The first personnel information table 2022 shown in Fig. 7 is a table having columns such as job type, employment status, work location, department, position, and project in charge, with company ID and user ID as keys.

[0106] Job type is an item that stores the type of work an employee performs. Employment type is an item that stores the employment type of an employee. Work location is an item that stores the region where an employee works. Department is an item that stores the organizational division to which an employee belongs. Job title is an item that stores the role or job assigned within a company organization. Responsible project is an item that stores the project that an employee is in charge of.

[0107] Fig. 8 is a diagram showing the data structure of the management table 2023. The management table 2023 shown in Fig. 8 is a table having columns such as PC, mobile terminal, device 1, web service 1, software resource 2, web service 3, etc., with employee ID as a key.

[0108] PC, mobile terminal, and device 1 are, for example, columns related to hardware licensing. The item "PC" stores, for example, the identification number of a PC for which use is permitted. The item "PC" may also store the model number of a PC for which use is permitted. The item "mobile terminal" stores, for example, the identification number of a smartphone for which use is permitted. The item "mobile terminal" may also store the model number of a smartphone for which use is permitted. The item "device 1" stores whether or not use of device 1 is permitted. If permitted, for example, a circle is stored in the item "device 1." Note that the symbol is not limited to a circle, and other characters or companies may be used as long as it is possible to understand that the device is licensed.

[0109] Web service 1 to web service n are columns relating to, for example, the license to use a web service. The item "Web service 1" stores whether or not the use of web service 1 is licensed. If licensed, for example, a circle is stored in the item "Web service 1." The item "Web service 1" may store the contract plan for the web service, the contract start date, the last login date, or the like.

[0110] Fig. 9 is a diagram showing the data structure of the authority information table 2024. The authority information table 2024 shown in Fig. 9 is a table having columns such as PC, mobile terminal, device 1, web service 1, wear resource 2, web service 3, etc., with attributes as keys.

[0111] In the permission information table 2024, a record is created for each attribute, and a circle is stored in the field that is permitted for the corresponding attribute. Specifically, for example, for job type 1, the use of web service 1 is permitted. The web services permitted for an employee are set, for example, based on a combination of at least two or more attributes. For example, if the personnel information for a given employee is: job type: sales, employment type: full-time employee, work location: X City, X Prefecture, department: Sales Division 1, job title: section manager, and assigned project: Project 1, the employee is eligible to use the web services permitted for each attribute. When setting up a web service account for an employee, the administrator is asked whether or not to register an account for the permitted web service. Because recommended web services for the employee are automatically extracted, the administrator does not need to select each web service that the employee will use. Furthermore, there are no omissions.

[0112] Fig. 10 is a diagram showing the data structure of the web service information table 2025. The web service information table 2025 shown in Fig. 10 is a table having columns such as contract details, usage fees, addresses, and APIs, with web services as keys.

[0113] The contract details are an item that stores the details of the contract concluded for the web service. The usage fee is an item that stores the fee for using the web service. The address is an item that stores the link destination when requesting specific information from the third server 40 that provides the web service. The API is an item that stores the API used when requesting specific information from the third server 40 that provides the web service.

[0114] Fig. 11 is a diagram showing the data structure of the hardware information table 2026. The hardware information table 2026 shown in Fig. 11 is a table having columns such as the number of uses, the number of unused items, and arrangements, with hardware as a key.

[0115] The number of uses is an item that stores the number of pieces of hardware that are in use among the pieces of hardware owned by a company. The number of unused pieces is an item that stores the number of pieces of hardware that are not being used among the pieces of hardware owned by a company. The arrangement is an item that stores the supplier of the hardware. The item "arrangement" may store a business related to the delivery route. The item "arrangement" may also store a disposal business when the hardware is disposed of.

[0116] <3. Operation> The operation of the first server 20 when managing web services used in a company will be described.

[0117] (Reading Personnel Information) Fig. 12 is a flowchart showing an example of the operation of the first server 20 when reading personnel information from the second server 30. In Fig. 12, a specific company manages its own personnel information using a personnel service provided by the second server 30. The personnel information includes not only current information but also planned changes that will occur from a specific date. Planned changes that will occur from a specific date include, for example, as of the end of February 2011, plans for joining the company on April 1, 2011, retiring on March 31, 2011, and transfers from April 1, 2011.

[0118] In step S11, the first server 20 reads out personnel information from the second server 30. Specifically, for example, the control unit 203 requests personnel information from the second server 30 at a predetermined timing using the reading module 2035. For example, the reading module 2035 requests personnel information from the second server 30 several times a month.

[0119] When the second server 30 receives the request for personnel information, it transmits the personnel information stored in the personnel information table 3021 to the first server 20 .

[0120] In step S12, the first server 20 receives and stores the personnel information transmitted from the second server 30. Specifically, for example, the control unit 203 stores the personnel information read from the second server 30 in the second personnel information table 2027 using the first management module 2033.

[0121] In step S11, the reading module 2035 may gradually change the timing of requesting personnel information from the personnel system. For example, in the early stages of introducing web service management, the reading module 2035 requests personnel information from the second server 30 several times a month, for example, once every few days, which is a relatively frequent frequency. The reading module 2035 analyzes the number of changes to the information stored in the first personnel information table 2022 while switching the timing of requesting personnel information. For example, the reading module 2035 adjusts the timing of requesting personnel information and sets a timing when a predetermined number of changes are likely to occur. In other words, the reading module 2035 sets a timing when it is expected that employees are likely to join or leave the company. The set timing may be, for example, a fixed date each month, or may be a different date each month. The reading module 2035 requests personnel information from the second server 30 at the set timing.

[0122] The reading module 2035 may adjust the timing at a predetermined cycle. For example, the reading module 2035 adjusts the timing of requesting personnel information, such as once a year, to a timing that conforms to the current specifications. This allows the reading module 2035 to obtain personnel information from the second server 30 at a timing that is suitable for the company in which it is introduced.

[0123] (Updating a Web Service) FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing an example of the operation of the first server 20 when updating a web service.

[0124] First, the administrator operates the terminal device 10 to access the first server 20. The administrator, for example, inputs his / her own ID and password to log in to the management service of the web service.

[0125] In step S21, the first management module 2033 accepts a login from an administrator. Upon accepting the login from the administrator, the first management module 2033 refers to the user information table 2021 and starts providing services to the administrator.

[0126] In step S22, the first management module 2033 reads out the personnel information stored in the second personnel information table 2027. Specifically, for example, the first management module 2033 determines whether newly stored personnel information is stored in the second personnel information table 2027. If newly stored personnel information is found, the first management module 2033 reads out the personnel information from the second personnel information table 2027.

[0127] In step S23, the setting module 2036 compares the personnel information read from the second personnel information table 2027 with the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022. In this way, the setting module 2036 extracts differences between the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022 and the personnel information stored in the second personnel information table 2027.

[0128] In step S24, the setting module 2036 sets the updated details of the web service account. Specifically, for example, the setting module 2036 identifies the employee attributes extracted as differences. The setting module 2036 references the authority information table 2024 to identify changes in web service usage authority due to attribute changes. The setting module 2036 sets the addition of an account and / or the deletion of an account based on the changes in the web service.

[0129] The setting module 2036 also sets the details of hardware updates. Specifically, for example, the setting module 2036 identifies the employee attributes extracted as differences. The setting module 2036 references the authority information table 2024 and identifies changes in hardware usage authority due to attribute changes. The setting module 2036 sets the addition, replacement, and / or return of hardware based on the changes in the hardware.

[0130] In step S25, the presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, information about web service accounts to the administrator. Specifically, for example, the presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, information based on the updated content of the web service to the administrator. The presentation control module 20311 notifies, for example, the administrator that an employee will join, be transferred, or resign on a specific date. The presentation control module 20311 also notifies the administrator that a web service account needs to be issued or deleted in connection with the employee's joining, transfer, or resignation. The presentation control module 20311 presents, for example, the number of accounts estimated to need to be newly issued or deleted to the administrator.

[0131] FIG. 14 is a schematic diagram illustrating an example of a web service management screen 1411 displayed on the terminal device 10 operated by an administrator. The management screen 1411 illustrated in FIG. 14 includes a first area 14111 displaying the SaaS usage status and a second area 14112 displaying matters requiring action. The second area 14112 displays, for example, information encouraging account issuance, information encouraging account deletion, etc. The second area 14112 also displays, for example, information related to contract renewal for the web service. A window 14113 displays information to motivate users to reconsider contract renewal for the web service. The second area 14112 may also display, for example, information encouraging the distribution (loan) of hardware, information encouraging the collection of hardware, etc.

[0132] After checking the management screen 1411, the administrator, for example, designates an object 141121 in the second area 14112 to issue a new account. When the object 141121 is designated, the presentation control module 20311 presents information for approving the issuance of the account to the administrator. The presentation control module 20311 may present information for individually approving an account to an employee whose personnel information has changed, or may present information for collectively approving the accounts of multiple employees.

[0133] FIG. 15 is a schematic diagram illustrating an example of a management screen 1412 when issuing an account to an individual employee. The management screen 1412 shown in FIG. 15 includes a third area 14121 representing the employee and a fourth area 14122 representing a list of web services. The fourth area 14122 displays web services that are already being used and web services that should be used but for which an account has not yet been issued. The web services displayed in the fourth area 14122 are determined, for example, by comparing the employee's attributes with the authority information table 2024. The example shown in FIG. 15 illustrates a case where an employee has been transferred and it has become necessary to issue a new web service 1.

[0134] The administrator checks whether an account is needed for the web service for which "Account not created" is displayed in the fourth area 14122. If an account needs to be issued, the administrator inputs information via the terminal device 10 so that the account will be issued from a specified date, such as the date the employee joins the company, is transferred, or resigns. The administrator may refer to the presented information and issue an account to the employee via the terminal device 10. The first management module 2033 instructs the third server 40 to issue an account.

[0135] An object 14123 for switching between account management and hardware management is displayed on the management screen 1412. When the administrator switches the display to hardware management, the administrator specifies the object 14123. When the object 14123 is specified, the presentation control module 20311 presents information for managing hardware to the administrator.

[0136] FIG. 16 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a management screen 1412 when issuing hardware to an employee. The management screen 1412 shown in FIG. 16 includes a third area 14121 that represents the employee and a fifth area 14124 that represents a list of hardware. The fifth area 14124 displays hardware that is already in use and hardware that should be used but has not yet been distributed. The hardware displayed in the fifth area 14124 is determined, for example, by comparing the employee's attributes with the authority information table 2024. The example shown in FIG. 16 shows a case where an employee has been transferred and a new PC1 needs to be distributed.

[0137] The administrator checks whether or not the hardware marked "undistributed" in the fifth area 14124 is needed, and if it is needed, inputs information so that the hardware will be distributed from a specified date. The presentation control module 20311 presents the administrator with information about the hardware they own based on the hardware information table 2026. If the hardware they own is insufficient, the presentation control module 20311 presents the administrator with information for arranging the hardware.

[0138] In step S26 , the first management module 2033 updates the personnel information stored in the first personnel information table 2022 based on the personnel information stored in the second personnel information table 2027 .

[0139] (Review of Web Service) FIG. 17 is a flowchart showing an example of the operation of the first server 20 when reviewing a contract for a web service.

[0140] First, the acquisition module 20310 acquires the last date on which the employee logged in to the web service via the assigned account at a predetermined cycle, for example, once a day at a predetermined time. Specifically, for example, the acquisition module 20310 requests the employee's login data from the third server 40 that provides the web service using an API.

[0141] In step S31, the first management module 2033 extracts accounts for which a predetermined number of days have passed since the last login date. Specifically, the first management module 2033 extracts accounts for which a predetermined number of days have passed since the last login date approximately once a month or at the timing of contract renewal.

[0142] In step S32, the presentation control module 20311 presents information about the extracted accounts to the administrator. The presentation control module 20311 presents the administrator with a choice as to whether to delete the extracted accounts. The presentation control module 20311 presents the administrator with the cost savings that will be achieved if the accounts are deleted.

[0143] 18 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a management screen 1413 for reviewing accounts. The management screen 1413 shown in FIG. 18 includes a sixth area 14131 showing the SaaS usage status, a seventh area 14132 showing a list of web services, and an eighth area 14134 showing a list of accounts that require review. Window 14133 displays the number of unused accounts and the cost savings that will be achieved by deleting these accounts.

[0144] After checking the management screen 1413, the administrator considers whether to delete the accounts listed in the eighth area 14134. The administrator specifies the accounts that the administrator has decided to delete and presses the delete button.

[0145] In step S33, the first management module 2033 updates the accounts based on instructions from the administrator. Specifically, the first management module 2033 deletes the accounts that the administrator has determined should be deleted, and updates the information stored in the management table 2023.

[0146] In step S34, the first management module 2033 checks the usage log of the undeleted account. Specifically, for example, the first management module 2033 counts the number of days that have passed since it checked whether the account was necessary. When the number of days that have passed since the check reaches a predetermined number, the first management module 2033 reads from the management table 2023 the last date on which the user logged in using the undeleted account.

[0147] In step S35, if there is no change in the last login date, the first management module 2033 deletes the account. The first management module 2033 updates the information stored in the management table 2023.

[0148] (Creating a Report) The administrator requests a report from the first server 20 at a predetermined timing.

[0149] When a report is requested, the creation module 2037 creates a report based on information about the accounts of the web services being used. Specifically, for example, the creation module 2037 creates a report showing the transition of costs based on the number of accounts for each web service. The creation module 2037 may include the results of the analysis by the analysis module 2038 in the report.

[0150] The presentation control module 20311 presents the created report to the administrator.

[0151] 19 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a report displayed on the administrator's terminal device 10. The report shown in FIG. 19 shows the transition of costs for using web services. The report also displays the analysis results of companies of the same size. The report also displays the analysis results of companies in the same industry.

[0152] As described above, in the above embodiment, the first management module 2033 stores first personnel information about multiple employees (human resources) belonging to a specific company. The first management module 2033 manages web services used by the multiple employees based on the first personnel information. The read module 2035 reads second personnel information from the personnel system at a predetermined timing. The setting module 2036 compares the first personnel information with the second personnel information. If there is a difference between the first personnel information and the second personnel information, the setting module 2036 sets updated content for the web service usage status based on the difference. The presentation control module 20311 presents the updated content to the user. This enables the first server 20 to read personnel information from the personnel system at a timing controlled by the first server 20. Furthermore, the first server 20 can grasp the usage status of web services based on the latest personnel information.

[0153] Therefore, according to the first server 20 of this embodiment, it is possible to manage the web services used by employees based on the latest personnel information, regardless of the personnel system to be introduced.

[0154] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the reading module 2035 reads the second personnel information from the personnel system at a timing based on the update frequency of the second personnel information in the personnel system. As a result, the reading module 2035 reads the personnel information from the personnel system at a predetermined timing (several times a month) at the beginning of implementation, and gradually reduces the frequency based on the update frequency of the personnel system, etc., making it possible to adjust to the optimal read timing. This allows the first server 20 to read personnel information from the personnel system at a timing that is appropriate for the company using the web service management service.

[0155] In the above embodiment, the analysis module 2038 analyzes personnel information of other companies and information about web services used by employees of other companies. The proposal module 2039 proposes web services that a specific company should use based on the results of the analysis. This allows companies using the web service management service to use web services that are estimated to be suitable for their company, making it possible to appropriately reduce the costs of web services.

[0156] In the above embodiment, the proposal module 2039 proposes web services that a specific company should use based on the results of analysis of companies of the same size or companies in the same industry. This allows companies using the web service management service to use web services that are estimated to be suitable for their company, taking into account their size or industry, and makes it possible to appropriately reduce the costs of web services.

[0157] In the above embodiment, the first management module 2033 manages the last date on which multiple employees logged in to their assigned accounts for web services. The presentation control module 20311 presents to the user whether or not an employee's account is needed if a predetermined number of days have passed since the last day. This allows the administrator to identify unused web service accounts and delete unnecessary accounts. This makes it possible to reduce the cost of using web services.

[0158] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the first management module 2033 deletes an account that has been determined to be necessary if a predetermined number of days have passed since the day the account was confirmed without the user logging in. This automatically deletes unused web service accounts, making it possible to reduce the costs associated with using web services.

[0159] In the above embodiment, the first management module 2033 manages the last date on which multiple employees logged in to their accounts assigned to web services. The presentation control module 20311 presents to the user the accounts of employees who have logged in for a predetermined number of days since their last day. This allows the administrator to identify web services that are not being used.

[0160] In the above embodiment, the presentation control module 20311 presents the user with the cost savings that will be achieved if the account is deleted, allowing the administrator to consider whether to maintain or delete the account based on the cost.

[0161] In the above embodiment, the presentation control module 20311 presents to the user the cost savings that will be achieved when switching the web service being used, thereby enabling the administrator to consider whether to change the web service based on the cost.

[0162] In the above embodiment, the setting module 2036 sets the update content based on the web services that have been pre-licensed for use according to the attributes included in the first personnel information. The presentation control module 20311 presents the user with the change in costs that will occur when the rules for licensing the web services are changed. This allows the administrator to consider changing the rules for licensing the web services based on the costs.

[0163] In the above embodiment, the setting module 2036 sets the update content based on the web services that employees are authorized to use in advance according to the attributes included in the first personnel information. The presentation control module 20311 presents the user with information about the accounts assigned to the web services being used based on the attributes included in the first personnel information. This allows the manager to understand the web services that employees are authorized to use without having to select the web services.

[0164] In the above embodiment, the setting module 2036 sets update content based on the web services that are permitted to be used in advance according to the attributes included in the first personnel information. The creation module 2037 creates reports based on information about the accounts assigned to the web services being used. This allows the administrator to obtain reports related to the web services.

[0165] In the above embodiment, the acquisition module 20310 acquires information about the accounts of the web service from the provider of the web service. The first management module 2033 extracts accounts that are not linked to the first personnel information. The presentation control module 20311 presents the extracted accounts to the user. This allows the administrator to accurately grasp shadow accounts.

[0166] In the above embodiment, the first management module 2033 manages hardware used by multiple personnel based on the first personnel information. If there is a difference between the first personnel information and the second personnel information, the setting module 2036 sets updated details of the hardware usage status based on the difference. This allows the first server 20 to grasp the hardware usage status based on the latest personnel information.

[0167] In the above embodiment, the analysis module 2038 analyzes personnel information of other companies and information about the hardware used by personnel belonging to those companies. The proposal module 2039 proposes hardware that a specific company should use based on the results of the analysis. This allows companies using the web service management service to use hardware that is estimated to be suitable for their company, making it possible to appropriately reduce hardware costs.

[0168] In the above embodiment, the presentation control module 20311 suggests hardware that a specific company should use based on the results of an analysis of companies of the same size or the results of an analysis of companies in the same industry. This allows companies using the web service management service to use hardware that is estimated to be suitable for their company, taking into account their size or industry, and makes it possible to appropriately reduce hardware costs.

[0169] In the above embodiment, the suggestion module 2039 suggests e-learning courses to attend to multiple employees based on the managed web services, hardware, or a combination thereof, thereby enabling the management of web services and hardware to lead to employee skill development.

[0170] In the above embodiment, the second management module 2034 manages the purchase or disposal of equipment based on the updated content of the hardware usage status. This makes it possible to manage the purchase and disposal of equipment, including hardware, via the first server 20. This eliminates the need for the administrator to use multiple management apps, thereby reducing the workload.

[0171] <Modifications> In the above embodiment, an example has been described in which a company's personnel system is operated by the second server 30. However, the personnel system is not limited to being operated by the second server 30. The personnel system may be managed by, for example, predetermined software stored within the company. Furthermore, the personnel system may be managed by predetermined software stored in a company's own server established within the company.

[0172] In the above embodiment, the first server 20 reads out personnel information managed by the personnel system from the personnel system at a predetermined timing. However, the reading module 2035 may also inquire at a predetermined timing about whether there has been an update to the personnel system, and read out the personnel information if there has been an update.

[0173] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the service provided by the first server 20 may be linked to a request system. Specifically, for example, a request for approval to use a specific web service in a specific organization (e.g., a department, a project, etc.) may be submitted to the request system. The first server 20 receives a notification from the request system indicating that the request has been finally approved. At this time, the request system transmits to the first server 20, for example, information indicating that the request has been finally approved, the web service that was the subject of the request, and the organization that will use the web service that was the subject of the request. Upon receiving the notification, the first server 20 issues accounts for the web service that was the subject of the request to employees of the corresponding organization. At this time, the issuance of the accounts may be in response to input from an administrator or may be automatic without input from an administrator. The first server 20 instructs the third server 40, which provides the web service, to issue the accounts. The first server 20 updates the management table 2023. It should be noted that the web service that is the subject of the approval request may be used not only by an organization but also by an individual employee.

[0174] The request made in the approval request form may also include adding a new web service to the authority information table 2024. At this time, the approval request system transmits to the first server 20, for example, information indicating that the approval request form has been finally approved, the web service that is the subject of the approval request, and that the web service that is the subject of the approval request will be incorporated into the rules of a specific organization. Upon receiving the notification, the first server 20 incorporates the approved web service into the rules of the organization in the authority information table 2024. In this way, by linking the services provided by the first server 20 with the approval request system, an account is immediately issued for a web service for which approval has been approved. Furthermore, because the account is issued without any operation by the administrator, the burden on the administrator can be further reduced.

[0175] The approval system may be implemented on a server within a company or on a server outside the company. When final approval is given, the first server 20 may passively receive information that final approval has been given from the approval system. Alternatively, the first server 20 may inquire at a predetermined timing about whether final approval has been given to the approval system, and receive a notification when approval has been given.
