Description

Sliding rail system for vehicle consoles

[0001] The present invention relates to a sliding rail system for a vehicle console, and more particularly, to a sliding rail system for a vehicle console that is applied to a console box provided inside a vehicle and configured to enable the console box to be slidably moved by a user's operation.

[0002] Typically, a console box is provided between the driver's seat and the passenger seat in the vehicle's interior.

[0003] The above console box provides a storage space in which items can be stored, and the storage space can be opened and closed by a cover.

[0004] Meanwhile, with the increasing trend of autonomous driving systems being installed in recent vehicles, the usability of interior space is becoming increasingly important. Furthermore, the use of battery packs powered by electric or hydrogen energy, replacing conventional internal combustion engines, is leading to a reduction in internal vehicle components, resulting in increased interior space.

[0005] Therefore, a method is being studied to configure the console box to be slidable and change the position of the seat so that the driver or passenger can engage in various activities other than driving inside the vehicle.

[0006] In addition, research and development is being conducted on a sliding rail system that slides the console box placed between the driver's seat and the passenger seat to increase space utilization.

[0007] Previously, a sliding rail system was developed that allowed the user to move the console box forward and backward on a sliding rail fixed to the body by their own power. However, recently, a sliding rail system that moves the console box on a sliding rail using a drive motor or actuator has been developed for the convenience of the user.

[0008] However, a sliding rail system to which a drive motor or actuator is applied has a problem in that it must be manufactured to be relatively longer than a console box, because a space must be provided on the sliding rail to mount the drive motor or actuator.

[0009] Accordingly, the applicant of the present invention developed the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems, and a related prior art document is 'Sliding transport device for vehicle storage compartment' of Republic of Korea Publication No. 10-2023-0109054.

[0010] The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a sliding rail system configured to enable sliding transport of a console box using a driving motor as a power source without placing a driving motor on the upper surface of a fixed frame mounted on a vehicle body.

[0011] The present invention may include a fixed frame fixedly provided in a vehicle interior space; a movable frame that is slidable along the longitudinal direction of the fixed frame and has a console box mounted on the upper portion; and a driving motor that provides power to allow the movable frame to slide and is provided on the lower portion of the fixed frame.

[0012] Additionally, a reducer connected to the output shaft of the driving motor may be provided at the bottom of the moving frame.

[0013] Additionally, a housing in which the driving motor and the reducer are stored may be provided at the bottom of the moving frame.

[0014] In addition, it includes a transfer screw provided along the longitudinal direction of the fixed frame, one longitudinal end of the transfer screw is rotatably mounted on a first bracket provided on one side of the upper surface of the fixed frame, and the other longitudinal end of the transfer screw can be rotatably mounted on a second bracket provided on the other side of the upper surface of the fixed frame.

[0015] In addition, it includes a movable block provided on the above-mentioned transport screw and capable of moving along the longitudinal direction of the above-mentioned transport screw; and the above-mentioned movable block can be connected to the above-mentioned transport frame.

[0016] In addition, an opening is formed in the fixed frame, and a bevel gear provided in the reducer and a bevel gear provided at one end of the longitudinal direction of the transfer screw can be connected to each other through the opening.

[0017] Additionally, the fixed frame may have a length that is equal to or greater than the length of the movable frame by 20%.

[0018] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a sliding rail system for a vehicle console allows a movable frame (120) equipped with a console box to be moved forward and backward on a fixed frame by the operation of a driving motor (130), thereby enabling a user to easily move the console box and increase the usability of the vehicle's interior space.

[0019] In addition, the sliding rail system of a vehicle console according to one embodiment of the present invention has a configuration in which a driving motor and a reducer are housed in a housing and mounted on the bottom of a fixed frame, so that noise generated during the process of moving the movable frame can be minimized.

[0020] In addition, the sliding rail system of a vehicle console according to one embodiment of the present invention provides a configuration in which a drive motor and a reducer are provided at the bottom of a moving frame, thereby not only preventing the drive part from being exposed to the outside, but also increasing the usability of the vehicle interior space.

[0021] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a sliding rail system according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0022] Figure 2 is a side view of the sliding rail system illustrated in Figure 1.

[0023] Fig. 3 is a plan view of the sliding rail system illustrated in Fig. 1.

[0024] The advantages and features of the present invention and the methods for achieving them will become clear with reference to the embodiments described in detail below together with the accompanying drawings.

[0025] However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below, but may be implemented in various different forms, and these embodiments are provided only to ensure that the disclosure of the present invention is complete and to fully inform a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains of the scope of the invention, and the present invention is defined only by the scope of the claims.

[0026] Hereinafter, a sliding rail system according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. In describing the present invention, specific descriptions of related known functions or configurations are omitted to avoid obscuring the gist of the invention.

[0027] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a sliding rail system according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view of the sliding rail system illustrated in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a plan view of the sliding rail system illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0028] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, a sliding rail system (100) for a vehicle console according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a fixed frame (110) fixedly provided in a vehicle interior space; a movable frame (120) that is slidably moved along the longitudinal direction of the fixed frame (110) and has a console box (not shown) mounted on the upper portion; and a driving motor (130) that provides power for the movable frame (120) to be slidably moved and is provided on the lower portion of the fixed frame (110).

[0029] The above fixed frame (110) is a component installed inside a vehicle with a predetermined length and width, and can be manufactured by an extrusion method.

[0030] The above fixed frame (110) may include a floor member (111) providing a predetermined area; and a pair of vertical members (112) that protrude upward from a widthwise end of the floor member (111) and provide a space in which a caster (not shown) provided on the movable frame (120) can move.

[0031] The fixed frame (110) configured as above has an overall 'ㄷ' shaped cross-section and can be mounted on the vehicle floor between the driver's seat and the passenger seat.

[0032] The above-mentioned floor member (111) may be equipped with a first bracket (113) that rotatably supports one end of a longitudinal transfer screw (160) to be described later. In addition, the floor member (111) may be equipped with a sensor (not shown) that detects the movement distance of the moving frame (120).

[0033] The above vertical member (112) is provided along the entire length direction of the floor member (111) from the width direction end of the floor member (111). The vertical member (112) provides a space in which the caster can move in a straight direction. That is, at the portion where the pair of first vertical members (112) face each other, a rail groove (112a) in which the caster is accommodated is formed along the length direction of the vertical member (112).

[0034]

[0035] The above moving frame (120) is a component that slides along the longitudinal direction of the fixed frame (110) from the upper portion of the fixed frame (110), and can be manufactured by an extrusion method.

[0036] The caster can be mounted on the width-wise end of the moving frame (120).

[0037] The widthwise end of the movable frame (120) can be inserted into the rail home (112a) of the fixed frame (110).

[0038] Additionally, a console box (not shown) can be mounted on the upper surface of the moving frame (120).

[0039]

[0040] Meanwhile, a reducer (140) connected to the output shaft of the driving motor (130) may be provided at the bottom of the moving frame (110).

[0041] The reducer (140) can transmit the rotational power generated from the drive motor (130) to the transfer screw (160) described later.

[0042] The reducer (140) can be designed considering the capacity of the driving motor (130), the weight of the moving frame (120), the moving distance, etc., and can be configured using various known gears and reduction methods.

[0043] Additionally, a housing (150) in which the driving motor (130) and the reducer (140) are stored may be provided at the bottom of the moving frame (110).

[0044] The housing (150) protects the drive motor (130) and the reducer (140) and also has the role of suppressing noise generated from the drive motor (130) or the reducer (140).

[0045] Meanwhile, a transfer screw (160) that rotates by receiving power from the reducer (140) is provided in the fixed frame (110).

[0046] The above-mentioned transfer screw (160) can be provided along the longitudinal direction of the fixed frame (110).

[0047] One longitudinal end of the transfer screw (160) can be rotatably mounted on the first bracket (113) provided on one side of the upper surface of the fixed frame (110).

[0048] The longitudinal end of the transfer screw (160) can be rotatably mounted on the second bracket (114) provided on the other side of the upper surface of the fixed frame (110).

[0049] Therefore, when the driving motor (130) is operated, the reducer (140) can receive the rotational power of the driving motor (130) and transmit it to the transfer screw (160), and then the transfer screw (160) can be rotated on the fixed frame (110).

[0050] For reference, an opening (111a) may be formed in the bottom member (111) of the fixed frame (110).

[0051] The reducer (140) and the feed screw (160) can be connected to each other through the above opening (111a). In other words, the bevel gear (141) provided in the reducer (140) and the bevel gear (161) provided at one end of the longitudinal direction of the feed screw (160) can be connected to each other through the above opening (111a).

[0052] In addition, a movable block (162) capable of moving along the longitudinal direction of the transport screw (160) is provided on the transport screw (160).

[0053] Inside the above-mentioned movable block (162), a plurality of balls that can circulate along a spiral groove formed on the outer surface of the transport screw (160) may be provided.

[0054] The upper surface of the movable block (162) can be connected to the lower surface of the movable frame (120).

[0055] When the transfer screw (160) receives power from the driving motor (130) and rotates, the moving block (162) connected to the transfer screw (160) and the moving frame (120) connected to the moving block (162) can move along the longitudinal direction of the transfer screw (160).

[0056] Therefore, when the driving motor (130) rotates in one direction or the other, the moving frame (120) can slide on the fixed frame (110) to move forward or backward.

[0057] In addition, since the sliding rail system (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention provides a configuration for sliding and transporting a movable frame (120) without mounting a driving motor (130) on the upper surface of a fixed frame (110), the overall length of the fixed frame (110) can be manufactured to be the same as the length of the movable frame (120) or to be longer by 20% or less than the length of the movable frame (120).

[0058] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the sliding rail system (100) of a vehicle console configured as described above allows a movable frame (120) equipped with a console box to be moved forward / backward on a fixed frame (110) by the operation of a driving motor (130), thereby enabling a user to easily move the console box and increase the usability of the vehicle's interior space.

[0059] In addition, the sliding rail system (100) of a vehicle console according to one embodiment of the present invention has a configuration in which a driving motor (130) and a reducer (140) are housed in a housing (150) and mounted on the bottom of a fixed frame (110), so that noise generated during the process of moving a movable frame (120) can be minimized.

[0060] Although specific embodiments of the present invention have been described so far, it is obvious that various modifications are possible within the scope of the present invention.

[0061] Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be limited to the described embodiments, but should be defined not only by the scope of the claims described below, but also by equivalents of the claims.

[0062] The present invention can be applied and sold in the automotive industry.
