Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] A BRACKET
[0003] Technical Field
[0004] The invention relates to a bracket usable in the ranges.
[0005] More specifically, the invention relates to a bent bracket structure, which, as a result of the brackets on an upper body being guided, prevents said upper body from remaining outside an inner body during the mounting of said upper body to a carrier tray.
[0006] State of the Art
[0007] A range is a household device used for cooking or heating the foods. This device, which is generally positioned in a kitchen counter or on said counter, is used for the purpose of preparing (heating and cooking) the foods. The ranges have types such as gas- or electric-operated ranges, etc.
[0008] Today, one of the most important steps in the manufacture of the ranges (household rangetops) is the process of connecting the upper body of a range to the lower body (carrier tray) of the same. Especially in cases where the brackets are fastened to a top glass surface (upper body), it is not possible to easily perform the process of mounting the upper body to the lower body, and similarly, the process of dismounting said upper body from said lower body. The solutions involving the screw connections are available for solving this problem. However, said solutions are inconvenient due to their complicated structure.
[0009] Some assembly faults may arise in cases where the number of workers is small, with a single operator mounting the upper body to the lower body. The operator is unable to properly perform the check for the properness of the assembly process, since the zone where the bracket engages the sheet is narrow. In such a case, the upper body is unable to be correctly (properly) mounted to the lower body and the product is delivered to the end user in a defective state. The problems such as the loss of safety functions and the shortening of useful life arise in a product delivered in a defective state. Various mechanisms are used, or an extra inspection operator is hired in order to solve said issue and check whether or not the assembly is proper. Both cases result in extra labor and cost. Further, the health of the lower back is adversely affected in an operator attempting to perform the check on his / her own, leading to an uncomfortable working position. Another drawback associated with the inspection of the properness of the assembly is an increase caused in the production time.
[0010] US2021285655A1 discloses an electric stove structure wherein the bottom surface of a base plate where an operating coil is positioned may be supported along the width direction of said base plate, thereby preventing the bending of said base plate and absorbing an external impact imparted on said base plate. Said document does not mention the alignment of the brackets on an upper body.
[0011] GB2486802A discloses the fitting brackets inside which a spring is disposed, said brackets being intended to enable the easy assembly of the induction coils positioned under the glass and increase the contact of said glass with the surface underneath. Said invention mentions a spring mechanism, but not the alignment of the brackets on an upper body.
[0012] US5852282A discloses a bracket design with a plurality of arms, which is devised with a spider structure to enable the easy assembly of the induction coils positioned under the glass and reduce the damage likely to occur during the connection.
[0013] Consequently, considering the prior art and the mentioned drawbacks, there is a need for a bracket, which offers the ability of quick assembly by enabling to achieve the alignment in a practical manner, wherein it is possible to assemble the upper body and the lower body without having to check the properness of the assembly.
[0014] Object and Brief Description of the Invention
[0015] An object of the invention is to provide a bent bracket structure, which, as a result of the brackets on an upper body being guided, prevents said upper body from remaining outside an inner body during the mounting of said upper body to a carrier tray.
[0016] Another object of the invention is to enable the assembly to be performed correctly (properly) owing to the alignment of the brackets.
[0017] Another object of the invention is to enable an operator, which performs the assembly of an upper body of a range with a carrier tray, to work comfortably.
[0018] Another object of the invention is to enable the assembly of an upper body of a range with a carrier tray to be performed in a simple and practical manner. A bracket, which allows an upper body in a range to be aligned from right and left during process of assembly of said upper body with a carrier tray, wherein, in order to enable alignment of said upper body during the assembly of said upper body with said carrier tray, said bracket comprises
[0019] - at least one first section, which is formed by way of bending from a first bending point, in a location near one end of said bracket, at a certain angle towards side facing said carrier tray, and which, owing to its angled structure, fits in said carrier tray without protruding from a side, and
[0020] - at least one second section, which is formed by way of bending from a second bending point, in a location near the other end of said bracket, at a certain angle towards the side facing said carrier tray, and which, owing to its angled structure, fits in said carrier tray without protruding from said side.
[0021] The present invention relates to a bracket, which enables the brackets on an upper body in a range to be guided during the process of assembly of said upper body with a carrier tray and allows a correct (proper) assembly process owing to said guiding action, wherein the assembly time is reduced, and the assembly faults are precluded.

[0037] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0038] The invention relates to a bracket (1.1 ), which enables the brackets (1.1 ) on an upper body (1 ) in a range to be aligned from the right and the left during the process of assembly of said upper body
[0039] (1 ) with a carrier tray (2), wherein the assembly time is reduced and the assembly faults are precluded owing to the performance of the alignment in a correct (proper) manner.
[0040] The ranges are the devices generally used to cook and heat the food and have types such as electric-operated ranges, gas-operated ranges, induction ranges, etc. Said ranges are mainly used in the kitchens of the houses. One of the most important processes in the manufacture of the ranges is the assembly of an upper body (1 ) with a carrier tray (2). In case the upper body (1 ) is not correctly (properly) joined / assembled with the carrier tray (2) for any reason, then the respective product (range) is regarded as defective.
[0041] In case any problem is detected in an assembled product during the manufacture, such product is disassembled and inspected and is thus subjected to reprocessing. Besides, it is necessary to disassemble a range during the service solutions provided to solve the problems encountered in the houses. Removing the glasses, which include the brackets (1.1 ) fitted by means of the screws, from within an aluminum sheet is a rather inconvenient process due to the deformation sustained by said two sheet components as a result of the force in the screw and may result in the scrapping of the product.
[0042] The present invention comprises a bracket (1.1 ) structure, which enables the upper body (1 ) to be fitted in the carrier tray (2) without protruding from the sides (2.1 ) of said carrier tray (2) during the assembly of said upper body (1 ) with said carrier tray (2). In this way, the assembly faults are precluded.
[0043] The present invention basically consists of the structures of an upper body (1 ) and a carrier tray (2). Said upper body (1 ) comprises the bracket (1.1 ) structure according to the invention. Said bracket (1.1 ) has the structures of a first section (1.3) bent from a first bending point (1.2) and a second section (1 .5) bent from a second bending point (1 .4).
[0044] Said term upper body (1 ) generally defines the visible part of the range on the kitchen counter. Said upper body (1 ) forms the framework structure of the range by mutually joining with said carrier tray
[0045] (2). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the upper body (1 ) is configured with a quadrilateral geometry and is manufactured from a glass material. Said upper body (1) includes a bracket (1.1) structure on the surface thereof facing the carrier tray (2). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, four such brackets (1.1) are used, and said brackets (1.1) are positioned at the locations near the boundaries of the upper body (1) with quadrilateral form in a way that they are situated near each respective boundary. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bracket (1.1) structures may be configured in a straight manner without any gap (without any opening) or in a way to include openings of a certain length at locations near the middle parts of said bracket (1.1 ) structures. There are present the first and the second sections (1 .3, 1 .5), which are formed by way of bending at the locations near the ends of said bracket (1.1 ). Said first section (1.3) is formed by way of bending from a first bending point (1 .2), which is positioned in a location near one end of the bracket (1.1), at a certain angle towards the side facing the carrier tray (2), and, owing to its angled structure, said first section (1.3) fits in said carrier tray (2) without protruding from said side (2.1). Likewise, the second section (1.5) is formed by way of bending from a second bending point (1.4), which is positioned in a location near the other end of the bracket (1.1 ), at a certain angle towards the side facing the carrier tray (2), and, owing to its angled structure, said second section (1.5) fits in said carrier tray (2) without protruding from said side (2.1 ).
[0046] Said carrier tray (2) is configured preferably with a quadrilateral geometry. The carrier tray (2) includes, on the surface there facing the upper body (1), the recesses (e.g., the screw holes) and the protrusions necessary to install the heaters (3) of the range. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the carrier tray (2) with a quadrilateral form includes four sides (2.1 ), which are joined such that they will be perpendicular to the upper body (1) at the boundaries thereof. Said sides
[0047] (2.1) enable the brackets (1.1 ) to be aligned and enables said brackets (1.1 ) to remain on the carrier tray (2). In this way, the brackets (1.1) are prevented from protruding.
[0048] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when it is desired to assemble the upper body
[0049] (1 ) with the carrier tray (2), first a bracket (1.1) on said upper body (1) is fitted in said carrier tray
[0050] (2). Owing to the bent structure of the bracket (1.1), i.e., owing to the first and second sections (1 .3, 1.5) that are bent at a certain angle, the upper body (1 ) becomes aligned with the sides (2.1) of the carrier tray (2), without the need to perform any extra alignment action. Then, the brackets (1.1) are fitted in the respective sections with which they are aligned, as a result of the operator applying pressure via the upper body (1). Here, the fitting action refers to the state where all the brackets
[0051] (1 .1) remain within the sides (2.1 ) of the carrier tray (2). Thus, the assembly process is completed.
[0052] In this specification, the terms "upper," "lower," "right," and "left" refer to the orientation or positional relationship based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the figures and are used solely for clarity and ease of explanation of the technical solution. They do not imply or indicate that the specified device or element requires a particular orientation, is constructed, or operates in a particular direction, and thus should not be understood as a limitation of the invention.
