[0010] <System Overview> An information processing system according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below.
[0011] 1 is a diagram showing an example of the overall configuration of an information processing system. The information processing system of this embodiment is configured to include a management server 2. The management server 2 is communicably connected to a user terminal 1 via a communication network. The communication network is, for example, the Internet, and is constructed using a public telephone line network, a mobile phone line network, a wireless communication path, Ethernet (registered trademark), or the like.
[0012] The user terminal 1 is a computer operated by a user, and may be, for example, a smartphone, a tablet computer, or a personal computer.
[0013] The management server 2 may be a general-purpose computer such as a workstation or a personal computer, or may be logically realized by cloud computing.
[0014] <Management Server> FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of the hardware configuration of the management server 2. Note that the illustrated configuration is an example, and other configurations may also be used. The management server 2 includes a CPU 201, memory 202, storage device 203, communication interface 204, input device 205, and output device 206. The storage device 203 stores various data and programs, and is, for example, a hard disk drive, solid state drive, or flash memory. The communication interface 204 is an interface for connecting to the communication network 3, and is, for example, an adapter for connecting to Ethernet (registered trademark), a modem for connecting to a public telephone network, a wireless communication device for wireless communication, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector, or an RS232C connector for serial communication. The input device 205 is, for example, a keyboard, mouse, touch panel, button, microphone, or the like for inputting data. The output device 206 is, for example, a display, printer, speaker, or the like for outputting data. Each functional unit of the management server 2 described below is realized by the CPU 201 reading a program stored in the storage device 203 into the memory 202 and executing it, and each storage unit of the management server 2 is realized as part of the storage area provided by the memory 202 and the storage device 203.
[0015] 3 is a diagram showing an example of the software configuration of the management server 2. The management server 2 includes an event input unit 211, a thought input unit 212, a reason input unit 213, a refutation input unit 214, an adaptive thought input unit 215, an emotion input unit 216, a change input unit 217, a thought organization content providing unit 218, a summary input unit 219, a thought organization content storage unit 231, and a user input storage unit 232.
[0016] The event input unit 211 allows the user to input an event in which a specific subjective experience occurred. For example, when cognitive therapy for pain is performed, the specific subjective experience may be pain. The event input unit 211 may, for example, display an input form to the user, allowing the user to specifically enter an event in which the pain was severe.
[0017] The thought input unit 212 allows the user to input the user's thoughts about an event (what they were thinking). When an event occurs, the user can input the thoughts at the time, allowing the user to reaffirm what they were thinking when the event occurred. The thought input unit 212 may also allow the user to input thoughts about the event and emotions accepted by the emotion input unit 216, which will be described later. The thought input unit 212 allows the user to freely write, for example, by text input, what they would say to themselves or what they feel about the situation.
[0018] The basis input unit 213 allows the user to input the basis of the thought. The basis input unit 213 inquires as to why the user thought the thought accepted by the thought input unit 212. The basis input unit 213 can inquire as to whether the user has any objective facts or evidence.
[0019] The refutation input unit 214 allows the user to input evidence that refutes the belief. The refutation input unit 214 can ask the user if there are any facts that refutable the user's belief about the event, assuming that the user's belief about the event is wrong. The refutation input unit 214 may generate a message to assist the user in inputting the refutation. For example, the refutation input unit 214 can generate the message using a generator that uses a large-scale language model. For example, the refutation input unit 214 can generate an example of refutation by providing the large-scale language model with a prompt that includes an event, "When I was going down the stairs at the station to get on the train, my knees hurt so much that I couldn't walk," and an instruction to generate evidence that refuted the event. The system may also include a learning model storage unit that stores a learning model trained by machine learning using (keywords or phrases contained in) counterevidence and (keywords or phrases contained in) events input by other users as training data, and the counterevidence input unit 214 can provide the learning model with the keywords or phrases contained in the events to determine the keywords or phrases to be used in the counterevidence. The counterevidence input unit 214 can also provide the large-scale language model with a prompt that includes the determined keywords or phrases and an instruction to generate a counterevidence for the events using the keywords or phrases, thereby generating an example of the counterevidence.
[0020] The adaptive thinking input unit 215 allows the user to input an adaptive thinking to replace the thought. The adaptive thinking input unit 215 can ask the user what positive thinking can be done instead of the thought at the time of the event, based on the evidence and counter-evidence, and can ask the user to think positively, assuming that the thought at the time was not necessarily correct. The adaptive thinking input unit 215 displays the event received by the event input unit 211, the evidence received by the evidence input unit 213, and the counter-evidence received by the counter-evidence input unit 214, and allows the user to input an adaptive thinking.
[0021] The emotion input unit 216 allows the user to input the degree of the user's emotion regarding the event (first degree). The emotion may include at least one of sadness, anger, and anxiety. Other emotions may also be accepted. The emotion input unit 216 may accept the single emotion that the user felt most strongly when the event occurred. The degree (intensity) of the emotion can be accepted by displaying a numerical rating scale on the user terminal 1, for example, on which a numerical value from 0 to 100 is input in increments of 10. The emotion may also be input using an input method such as a VAS (Visual Analog Scale) or face marks.
[0022] The change input unit 217 allows the user to input the degree of emotion (second degree, hereinafter also referred to as emotional change) when adaptive thinking is achieved. The change input unit 217 can display the adaptive thought received by the adaptive thought input unit 215 and ask the user whether the degree of emotion is likely to change if the adaptive thought is thought. The emotional change (second degree) can also be input using, for example, a numerical evaluation scale. Note that the emotional change can also be input using input methods such as a VAS (Visual Analog Scale) or face marks.
[0023] The thought organization content storage unit 231 stores content for learning how to organize thoughts. The content can include, for example, text data, image data, video data, and audio data.
[0024] The thought organization content providing unit 218 can provide the content to the user after the event input unit has accepted an event and the thought input unit has accepted a thought, and allow the user to learn a method of organizing thoughts.
[0025] The summary input unit 219 allows the user to input a summary of the event. The summary can be what the user learned or what came to mind from the whole event.
[0026] The user input storage unit 232 stores information (hereinafter referred to as input information) including content received from a user. The input information may include information identifying the user (user ID), the update date of the input information, the event received by the event input unit 211, the emotion and its degree received by the emotion input unit 216, the thought received by the thought input unit 212, the summary received by the summary input unit 219, the reason received by the evidence input unit 213, the refutation received by the refutation input unit 214, the adaptive thought received by the adaptive thought input unit 215, and the second degree (emotion change) received by the change input unit 217. The input information stored in the user input storage unit 232 may be provided to a medical professional such as a doctor or nurse, may be available for later review by the user, or may be provided to another user designated by the user.
