[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present technology will be described. The description will be made in the following order: 1. Embodiment 2. Use example of the present technology 3. Modification 4. Other
[0014] <<1. Embodiment>> First, an embodiment of the present technology will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 13 .
[0015] <Configuration Example of Information Processing System 1> FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an embodiment of an information processing system 1 to which the present technology is applied.
[0016] The information processing system 1 is a system that provides various services using mobile units 11-1 to 11-m.
[0017] The information processing system 1 includes mobile units 11-1 to 11-m, information processing terminals 12-1 to 12-m, and servers 13-1 to 13-n.
[0018] Mobile units 11-1 to 11-m, information processing terminals 12-1 to 12-m, and servers 13-1 to 13-n can communicate with each other via network 21. Mobile units 11-1 to 11-m and information processing terminals 12-1 to 12-m can communicate directly with each other without going through network 21.
[0019] In the following, when there is no need to individually distinguish between mobile units 11-1 to 11-m, information processing terminals 12-1 to 12-m, and servers 13-1 to 13-n, they will be simply referred to as mobile unit 11, information processing terminal 12, and server 13, respectively.
[0020] The mobile object 11 is, for example, a personal mobility object. A personal mobility object is, for example, a mobile object that is smaller than a conventional passenger car and is expected to be used by one to three people (for example, one adult, or one adult and one to two children). Specifically, small electric vehicles that move at low speeds, such as electric bicycles, electrically assisted bicycles, electric kick scooters, electric wheelchairs, and electric carts, are expected as personal mobility objects.
[0021] The information processing terminal 12 is an information processing terminal carried by a user who uses the mobile object 11. For example, the information processing terminal 12 is configured by a PC (Personal Computer), a tablet terminal, a smartphone, a mobile phone, or the like.
[0022] Note that one user may own two or more information processing terminals 12 .
[0023] The server 13 controls the information processing system 1 and executes processes for providing various services to the mobile object 11 and the information processing terminal 12 .
[0024] <Configuration Example of Mobile Object 11> Next, a configuration example of the mobile object 11 will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0025] First Embodiment of Mobile Body 11 FIG. 2 shows an example of the external configuration of a mobile body 11a that is a first embodiment of the mobile body 11. As shown in FIG.
[0026] The mobile unit 11a is an electric tricycle with two front wheels and one rear wheel. The mobile unit 11a corresponds to, for example, a specific small motorized bicycle.
[0027] A specified small motorized bicycle is a vehicle that meets the following criteria, for example.
[0028] - The vehicle body length is 190 cm or less, and the width is 60 cm or less. - The prime mover is an electric motor with a rated output of 0.60 kW or less. - The maximum speed is 20 km / h or less. - The maximum speed setting cannot be changed while traveling. - Equipped with an automatic transmission mechanism. - Equipped with a maximum speed indicator light.
[0029] The mobile body 11a includes a left front wheel 101FL, a right front wheel 101FR, a rear wheel 101B, a frame portion 102, and a canopy 103. The mobile body 11a also includes a battery storage portion (not shown) provided at an appropriate position, and a portable battery can be attached and detached to the battery storage portion.
[0030] Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 101FL and the right front wheel 101FR, they will simply be referred to as the front wheels 101F. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 101FL, the right front wheel 101FR, and the rear wheel 101B, they will simply be referred to as the wheels 101.
[0031] Each part of the moving body 11a is made of a material having a certain strength, such as metal or resin.
[0032] The frame portion 102 is composed of a front frame portion 102F to which the front wheel 101F is connected, and a rear frame portion 202B to which the rear wheel 101B is connected.
[0033] The overall width of the moving body 11a (the length between the left front wheel 101FL and the right front wheel 101FR) is, for example, 60 cm or less. The overall length of the moving body 11a (the length from the tip of the front wheel 101F to the rear end of the rear wheel 101B) is, for example, 190 cm or less when the frame part 102 is at its longest, and 160 cm or less when the frame part 102 is at its shortest.
[0034] The frame portion 102 can be extended or retracted by, for example, moving the front frame portion 102F and the rear frame portion 102B relative to each other. For example, the entire frame portion 102 contracts when the rear frame portion 102B approaches the front frame portion 102F, and the entire frame portion 102 expands when the rear frame portion 102B moves away from the front frame portion 102F. More specifically, the frame portion 102 can be extended or retracted without separation between a first position that allows movement of the front wheel 101F and a second position that restricts movement of the front wheel 101F.
[0035] When the frame portion 102 is set to the first position, the length of the frame portion 102 is at its longest, in other words, the overall length of the movable body 11a is at its longest. The movable body 11a is used in this state.
[0036] When the frame portion 102 is set to the second position, the length of the frame portion 102 is at its shortest, in other words, the overall length of the moving body 11a is at its shortest. In this state, the moving body 11a is parked.
[0037] The front frame portion 102F includes an operating unit 111 and a seat 112. The operating unit 111 includes, for example, a handle, a brake lever, etc. A user sits in the seat 112 and uses the operating unit 111 to drive the vehicle 11a.
[0038] A canopy 103 is formed above the front frame portion 102F. The canopy 103 covers the front, top, rear, and part of the sides of the vehicle 11a. This allows the user to protect from wind and rain and ensure a personal space that is almost completely shielded from the outside.
[0039] For example, an image (moving image or still image) may be displayed in the user's field of view on the front side of the canopy 103 using a HUD (head-up display) or the like.
[0040] A motor is disposed on the rear frame portion 102B, and the driving force of the motor rotates the rear wheel 101B, causing the moving body 11a to move.
[0041] The mobile unit 11a provides the user with a personal mobile space (cell space) that is almost isolated from the outside world. In addition, for example, the user can communicate with the outside world while being isolated from the outside world by using a communication device or the like provided in the mobile unit 11a.
[0042] Second Embodiment of Mobile Body 11 FIG. 3 shows an example of the external configuration of a mobile body 11b that is a second embodiment of the mobile body 11. As shown in FIG.
[0043] In the figure, parts corresponding to the moving body 11a in FIG. 2 are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted as appropriate.
[0044] The mobile body 11b is identical to the mobile body 11a in that it has a left front wheel 101FL, a right front wheel 101FR, a rear wheel 101B, and a frame portion 102, but differs from the mobile body 11a in that it has a face shield 121 instead of the canopy 103.
[0045] The face shield 121 is formed to cover the front of the user's head, thereby providing protection from wind and rain and allowing the user to secure a personal space that is almost completely shielded from the outside.
[0046] For example, an image (moving image or still image) may be displayed in the user's field of view on the front of the face shield 121 using a HUD or the like.
[0047] The mobile unit 11b provides the user with a personal mobile space (cell space) that is almost isolated from the outside world. In addition, for example, the user can communicate with the outside world while being isolated from the outside world by using a communication device or the like installed in the mobile unit 11b.
[0048] <Third Embodiment of Mobile Body 11> FIG. 4 shows an example of the external configuration of a mobile body 11c that is a third embodiment of the mobile body 11. As shown in FIG.
[0049] The mobile unit 11c is an electric four-wheel vehicle having two front wheels and two rear wheels, and corresponds to, for example, a specific small motorized bicycle.
[0050] The mobile unit 11c includes a left front wheel 151FL, a right front wheel 151FR, a left rear wheel 151BL, a right rear wheel 151BR, a frame portion 152, and a canopy 153. The mobile unit 11c also includes a battery storage portion (not shown) provided at an appropriate position, and a portable battery can be attached and detached to the battery storage portion.
[0051] Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 151FL and the right front wheel 151FR, they will simply be referred to as the front wheel 151F. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left rear wheel 151BL and the right rear wheel 151BR, they will simply be referred to as the rear wheel 151B. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 151FL, the right front wheel 151FR, the left rear wheel 151BL, and the right rear wheel 151BR, they will simply be referred to as the wheels 151.
[0052] Each part of the moving body 11c is made of a material having a certain strength, such as metal or resin.
[0053] The frame portion 152 is composed of a front frame portion 152F to which the front wheel 151F is connected, and a rear frame portion 152B to which the rear wheel 151B is connected.
[0054] The overall width of the moving body 11c (the length between the left front wheel 151FL and the right front wheel 151FR) is, for example, 60 cm or less. The overall length of the moving body 11c (the length from the tip of the front wheel 151F to the rear end of the rear wheel 151B) is, for example, 190 cm or less when the frame part 152 is at its longest, and 160 cm or less when the frame part 152 is at its shortest.
[0055] The frame portion 152 is extendable and contractable, for example, by moving the front frame portion 152F and the rear frame portion 152B relative to each other. For example, the entire frame portion 152 contracts when the rear frame portion 152B approaches the front frame portion 152F, and the entire frame portion 152 expands when the rear frame portion 152B moves away from the front frame portion 152F. More specifically, the frame portion 152 is extendable and contractable without separation between a first position that allows movement of the front wheel 151F and a second position that restricts movement of the front wheel 151F.
[0056] When the frame portion 152 is set to the first position, the length of the frame portion 152 is at its longest, in other words, the overall length of the movable body 11c is at its longest. The movable body 11c is used in this state.
[0057] When the frame portion 152 is set to the second position, the length of the frame portion 152 is at its shortest, in other words, the overall length of the moving body 11c is at its shortest. In this state, the moving body 11c is parked.
[0058] The front frame portion 152F includes an operation unit 161 and a seat 162. The operation unit 161 includes, for example, a handle, a brake lever, or a controller used for operating a game. A user sits in the seat 162 and drives the vehicle 11c using the operation unit 161.
[0059] A canopy 153 is formed above the front frame portion 152F. The canopy 153 covers the front, top, rear, and part of the sides of the vehicle 11c. This allows the user to protect from wind and rain and ensure a personal space that is almost completely shielded from the outside.
[0060] For example, an image (moving image or still image) may be displayed in the user's field of view on the front side of the canopy 153 using a HUD or the like.
[0061] A motor is disposed on the rear frame portion 152B, and the driving force of the motor rotates the rear wheel 151B, causing the moving body 11c to move.
[0062] The mobile unit 11c provides the user with a personal mobile space (cell space) that is almost isolated from the outside world. In addition, for example, the user can communicate with the outside world while being isolated from the outside world by using a communication device or the like provided in the mobile unit 11c.
[0063] <Fourth embodiment of mobile body 11> Next, a configuration example of a mobile body 11d that is a fourth embodiment of the mobile body 11 will be described with reference to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. Fig. 5 is a right side view of the mobile body 11d. Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the mobile body 11d.
[0064] The mobile unit 11d is an electric tricycle with two front wheels and one rear wheel. The mobile unit 11d corresponds to, for example, a specific small motorized bicycle.

The mobile unit 11d also includes a battery storage portion (not shown) provided at an appropriate position, and a portable battery can be attached and detached to the battery storage portion.
[0066] Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 201FL and the right front wheel 201FR, they will simply be referred to as the front wheels 201F. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the left front wheel 201FL, the right front wheel 201FR, and the rear wheel 201B, they will simply be referred to as the wheels 201.
[0067] Each part of the moving body 11d is made of a material having a certain strength, such as metal or resin.
[0068] The frame portion 202 is composed of a front frame portion 202F to which the front wheel 201F is connected, and a rear frame portion 202B to which the rear wheel 201B is connected.
[0069] The overall width of the moving body 11d (the length between the left front wheel 201FL and the right front wheel 201FR) is, for example, 60 cm or less. The overall length of the moving body 11d (the length from the tip of the front wheel 201F to the rear end of the rear wheel 201B) is, for example, 190 cm or less when the frame part 202 is at its longest, and 160 cm or less when the frame part 202 is at its shortest.
[0070] The frame portion 202 can be extended or contracted, for example, by moving the front frame portion 202F and the rear frame portion 202B relative to each other. For example, the entire frame portion 202 contracts when the rear frame portion 202B is brought closer to the front frame portion 202F, and the entire frame portion 202 expands when the rear frame portion 202B is moved away from the front frame portion 202F. More specifically, the frame portion 202 can be extended or contracted without separation between a first position that allows movement of the front wheel 201F and a second position that restricts movement of the front wheel 201F.
[0071] When the frame portion 202 is set to the first position, the length of the frame portion 202 is at its longest, in other words, the overall length of the movable body 11d is at its longest. The movable body 11d is used in this state.
[0072] When the frame portion 202 is set to the second position, the length of the frame portion 202 is at its shortest, in other words, the overall length of the moving body 11d is at its shortest. In this state, the moving body 11d is parked.
[0073] The front frame portion 202F includes an operation unit 211 and a seat 212. The operation unit 211 includes, for example, a handle, a brake lever, etc. A user sits in the seat 212 and uses the operation unit 211 to drive the vehicle 11d.
[0074] For example, a display may be provided in the center (on the axis) of the handle of the operation unit 211.
[0075] A footrest 213L protruding to the left and a footrest 213R protruding to the right are formed near the tip of the rear frame portion 202B. When riding on the vehicle 11d, the user can place their left and right feet on the footrests 213L and 213R.
[0076] A motor is disposed on the rear frame portion 202B, and the driving force of the motor rotates the rear wheel 201B, causing the moving body 11d to move.
[0077] A loading platform 203 is provided on the front frame portion 202F near the tip of the vehicle 11. The loading platform 203 has, for example, a box-like shape with an open top, and can carry various types of luggage. A child's chair may be provided inside the loading platform 203 so that a small child can ride on the loading platform 203.
[0078] <Fifth embodiment of mobile body 11> Next, a configuration example of a mobile body 11e which is a fifth embodiment of the mobile body 11 will be described with reference to Figs. 7 to 10. Fig. 7 is a perspective view schematically showing the mobile body 11e as seen from the diagonal front left. Fig. 8 is a perspective view schematically showing the mobile body 11e as seen from the diagonal rear right. Fig. 9 is a schematic view of the front interior of the mobile body 11e. Fig. 10 is a schematic view of the rear interior of the mobile body 11e.
[0079] The mobile unit 11e is an electric tricycle with one front wheel and two rear wheels. The mobile unit 11e corresponds to, for example, a specific small motorized bicycle.

[0138] Since the mobile body 11 is small and moves at a low speed, for example, as shown in FIG. 14, a user may be able to enter a commercial facility 501 while riding the mobile body 11, move around the commercial facility 501, and shop.
[0139] Fig. 15 is a specific example of the information processing system 1 in Fig. 1, and shows an example of the configuration of an information processing system 511 in a commercial facility 501. In the figure, parts corresponding to those in the information processing system 1 in Fig. 1 are given the same reference numerals, and descriptions thereof will be omitted as appropriate.
[0140] The information processing system 511 includes a mobile object 11, an information processing terminal 12, a server 13a which is one of the servers 13 in Fig. 1 , a sensor unit 521, and an output unit 522. The mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, the server 13a, the sensor unit 521, and the output unit 522 are connected to each other via a network 21.
[0141] In FIG. 15, for ease of understanding, one mobile object 11, one information processing terminal 12, and one server 13a are illustrated, but the number of mobile objects 11, one information processing terminal 12, and one server 13a is not particularly limited.

[0146] <Configuration Example of Information Processing Unit 551> FIG. 16 shows a configuration example of an information processing unit 551, which is part of the functions realized by the processor 411 of the information processing device 401 constituting the server 13a executing a predetermined control program.
[0147] The information processing unit 551 includes an authentication unit 561 , a recognition unit 562 , a settlement unit 563 , a learning unit 564 , a recommendation unit 565 , a presentation control unit 566 , and a remote control unit 567 .
[0148] The authentication unit 561 performs authentication processing of at least one of the mobile body 11 and the user based on at least one of the authentication data from the mobile body 11, the authentication data from the information processing terminal 12, and the sensor data from the sensor unit 521.
[0149] The recognition unit 562 recognizes the state inside the commercial facility 501 based on at least one of the information from the mobile object 11, the information from the information processing terminal 12, and the sensor data from the sensor unit 521. For example, the recognition unit 562 recognizes the type and quantity of items purchased by the user based on the sensor data from the sensor unit 521.
[0150] The settlement unit 563 executes settlement processing for the purchased items based on the recognition result of the user's purchased items by the recognition unit 562, etc.
[0151] The learning unit 564 records the shopping history of each user on the recording medium 414 based on the recognition results of the purchased items of each user by the recognition unit 562. The shopping history includes, for example, the user's identification information (e.g., user ID), the date and time of entering the store, the date and time of leaving the store, the identification information of the purchased items (e.g., product ID), the unit price, the quantity, etc.
[0152] The learning unit 564 performs a learning process on each user's preferences, behavioral patterns, etc. based on the recognition results of each user's purchases by the recognition unit 562, more specifically, based on each user's shopping history based on the recognition results of each user's purchases. Each user's behavioral pattern includes, for example, a shopping pattern that indicates each user's shopping tendencies. The learning unit 564 records information indicating the results of the learning process on the recording medium 414.
[0153] The recommendation unit 565 selects products to be recommended to each user (hereinafter referred to as recommended products) based on one or more of the recognition results of each user's purchases, preferences, shopping patterns, and the like.
[0154] The presentation control unit 566 controls the presentation of various types of presentation information (e.g., visual information, auditory information) to the user by the mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, or the output unit 522. For example, the presentation control unit 566 controls the presentation of information about recommended products by the mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, or the output unit 522.
[0155] The remote control unit 567 remotely controls the mobile object 11. For example, the remote control unit 567 generates control information for remotely controlling the operation of the mobile object 11 based on the recognition results of the state inside the commercial facility 501. The remote control unit 567 remotely controls the mobile object 11 by transmitting the control information to the mobile object 11 via the communication unit 418 and the network 21.
[0156] <Processing of Information Processing System 511> Next, processing of the information processing system 511 will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
[0157] In step S1, the information processing system 511 executes an authentication process. Specifically, the authentication unit 561 of the server 13a executes an authentication process for the mobile object 11 and the user when the mobile object 11 enters a store, and identifies the mobile object 11 and the user.
[0158] The method of authenticating the mobile unit 11 and the user is not particularly limited.
[0159] For example, when the mobile object 11 enters a store, the mobile object 11 or the information processing terminal 12 acquires authentication data for the mobile object 11 and the user, and transmits the data to the server 13 a via the communication unit 319 and the network 21 .
[0160] In response to this, the authentication unit 561 of the server 13a receives authentication data of the mobile object 11 and the user from the mobile object 11 or the information processing terminal 12 via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The authentication unit 561 executes authentication processing of the mobile object 11 and the user based on the authentication data.
[0161] For example, when the mobile object 11 enters a store, the sensor unit 521 acquires authentication data for the mobile object 11 and the user, and transmits the data to the server 13a via the network 21.
[0162] In response to this, the authentication unit 561 of the server 13a receives the authentication data of the mobile object 11 and the user from the sensor unit 521 via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The authentication unit 561 executes authentication processing of the mobile object 11 and the user based on the authentication data.
[0163] In step S2, the recognition unit 562 of the server 13a recognizes the purchased item.
[0164] For example, a user places a product that the user wants to purchase in the loading platform 203 of the mobile object 11d in Fig. 5. Note that, for example, the user may place the product in the loading platform 203 by himself or herself, or a robot arm or the like provided in the mobile object 11 or the commercial facility 501 may place the product in the loading platform 203.
[0165] In response to this, the recognition unit 562 of the server 13a recognizes the product placed in the loading bay 203 as a purchased item.
[0166] The method for recognizing purchased items is not particularly limited.
[0167] For example, the sensor unit 521 photographs the loading platform 203 and transmits the obtained image data to the server 13 a via the communication unit 319 and the network 21 .
[0168] In response to this, the recognition unit 562 of the server 13a acquires the image data from the sensor unit 521 via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The recognition unit 562 recognizes the type and quantity of the purchased items by image recognition based on the image data.
[0169] For example, the sensor unit 320 of the mobile object 11 acquires recognition data of the purchased items placed in the loading bay 203 and supplies the data to the recognition unit 362. The recognition data includes, for example, at least one of image data of the purchased items and image data of the barcodes written on the purchased items. The recognition unit 362 recognizes the type and quantity of the purchased items based on the recognition data. The recognition unit 362 transmits information indicating the recognition results of the purchased items to the server 13a via the communication unit 319 and the network 21.
[0170] In response to this, the recognition unit 562 of the server 13a acquires information indicating the recognition result of the purchased items from the sensor unit 521 via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The recognition unit 562 recognizes the type, quantity, etc. of the purchased items based on the acquired information.
[0171] In step S3, the information processing system 511 presents various types of information.
[0172] For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects a product to be recommended to the user (hereinafter referred to as a recommended product).
[0173] For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects, as recommended products, products that the commercial facility 501 wants the user to purchase. Examples of products that the commercial facility 501 wants the user to purchase include products on sale, limited-time sale products, and products with high profit margins.
[0174] For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects recommended items based on the recognition result of the purchased items by the recognition unit 562. For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects, as recommended items, products necessary to make a dish based on a recipe for the dish that can be made using the recognized purchased items.
[0175] For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects recommended products based on at least one of the user's preferences and shopping patterns learned by the learning unit 564. For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects, as recommended products, products that the user is likely to purchase based on at least one of the user's preferences and shopping patterns. For example, the recommendation unit 565 selects, as recommended products, new products similar to products that the user frequently purchases.
[0176] The presentation control unit 566 transmits information about recommended products (hereinafter referred to as recommended product information) to at least one of the mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, and the output unit 522 via the communication unit 418 and the network 21.
[0177] In response to this, for example, the output control unit 364 of the mobile object 11 receives the recommended product information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 319. The output unit 318 outputs information related to the recommended products under the control of the output control unit 364.
[0178] For example, the output unit 417 of the information processing terminal 12 receives recommended product information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The output unit 417 outputs information related to recommended products.
[0179] For example, the output unit 522 receives recommended product information from the server 13a via the network 21. The output unit 522 outputs the information about the recommended products. For example, the output unit 522 displays the information about the recommended products to the user in front of the sales area for the recommended products.
[0180] In this way, information about the recommended product is presented to the user. The information about the recommended product includes, for example, an image of the recommended product, its price, the location of the sales floor, and the reason for the recommendation. For example, information about dishes that can be prepared by combining the purchased product with the recommended product may also be presented. Furthermore, for example, information comparing the prices of the recommended product and similar products may also be presented.
[0181] For example, the presentation control unit 566 of the server 13a generates information about the commercial facility 501 (hereinafter referred to as commercial facility information) and transmits it to at least one of the mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, and the output unit 522 via the communication unit 418 and the network 21.
[0182] The commercial facility information includes, for example, one or more of map information showing the location of each product sales area within the commercial facility 501, event information regarding events being held at the commercial facility 501, and bargain information showing sale items, discounts, special offers, etc. at the commercial facility 501.
[0183] In response to this, for example, the output control unit 364 of the mobile object 11 receives the commercial facility information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 319. The output unit 318 outputs information about the commercial facility 501 under the control of the output control unit 364.
[0184] For example, the output unit 417 of the information processing terminal 12 receives commercial facility information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The output unit 417 outputs information related to the commercial facility 501.
[0185] For example, the output unit 522 receives commercial facility information from the server 13a via the network 21. The output unit 522 outputs information related to the commercial facility 501.
[0186] In step S4, the recognition unit 562 of the server 13a determines whether or not the shopping is complete. If it is determined that the shopping is not complete, the process returns to step S2.
[0187] Thereafter, the processes of steps S2 to S4 are repeatedly executed until it is determined in step S4 that the shopping is completed.
[0188] On the other hand, in step S4, if the recognition unit 562 recognizes, for example, based on sensor data from the sensor unit 521, that the mobile object 11 has left the sales floor of the commercial facility 501, or that the mobile object 11 has entered a designated checkout location, it determines that the shopping is complete and processing proceeds to step S5.
[0189] In step S5, the server 13a executes the settlement process.
[0190] Specifically, the settlement unit 563 calculates the purchase price and consumption tax for all purchased items based on the type, unit price, and quantity of each purchased item, and then calculates the total amount to be paid.
[0191] The presentation control unit 566 generates settlement information related to the settlement of the user's purchases. The settlement information includes, for example, the type, unit price, and quantity of each purchased item, the purchase price of all purchased items, consumption tax, and the total amount to be paid. The presentation control unit 566 transmits the settlement information to at least one of the mobile object 11, the information processing terminal 12, and the output unit 522 via the communication unit 418 and the network 21.
[0192] In response to this, for example, the output control unit 364 of the mobile object 11 receives the settlement information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 319. The output unit 318 outputs the settlement information under the control of the output control unit 364.
[0193] For example, the output unit 417 of the information processing terminal 12 receives the settlement information from the server 13a via the network 21 and the communication unit 418. The output unit 417 outputs the settlement information.
[0194] For example, the output unit 522 receives recommended product information from the server 13a via the network 21. The output unit 522 outputs payment information.
[0195] In addition, the settlement unit 563 receives the total payment amount in electronic money from the user's information processing terminal 12, etc., via the communication unit 418 and the network 21, and processes the billing of the total payment amount to the server of the company to which the user makes payment (e.g., a credit card company).
[0196] In step S6, the learning unit 564 of the server 13a records the shopping history. Specifically, the learning unit 564 adds information such as the user's store entry date and time, store exit date and time, identification information, unit price, quantity, etc. of the purchased items to the user's shopping history recorded on the recording medium 414.
[0197] In step S7, the learning unit 564 of the server 13a executes a learning process. For example, when the conditions for executing the learning process are satisfied, the learning unit 564 executes a learning process of each user's preferences, shopping patterns, and the like, based on the shopping history recorded on the recording medium 414.
[0198] The conditions for executing the learning process may be, for example, when the amount of shopping history data since the previous learning process exceeds a predetermined threshold, or when a predetermined timing (for example, the end of the month) is reached.
[0199] The shopping pattern includes, for example, the frequency of each user's visit to the store, the day of the week, the time of day, the tendency of purchased items, etc. The tendency of purchased items is analyzed for each day of the week, time of day, weather, etc. of visit to the store.
[0200] The learning process method is not particularly limited.
[0201] The learning unit 564 records information indicating the results of the learning process on the recording medium 414 .
[0202] Thereafter, the processing of the information processing system 511 ends.
[0203] In this way, the convenience of shopping for the user is improved. For example, the user can enter the commercial facility 501 while riding in the mobile object 11 and move around the commercial facility 501. For example, the user can place products in the loading platform 203 of the mobile object 11 without using a shopping cart or basket, and purchase and pay for the products directly from the loading platform 203.
[0204] <Examples of Use in Other Vehicles> Next, examples of use of the present technology in other vehicles will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0205] Since the mobile body 11 is very compact, for example, the user may be able to ride other vehicles (for example, public transportation such as trains, buses, ships, etc.) while remaining in the mobile body 11.
[0206] 18 to 20 show an example of a train 601 that can be boarded while remaining on the moving body 11.
[0207] The train 601 has a plurality of passenger compartments 611. Of the plurality of passenger compartments 611, passenger compartments 611A to 611F are shown in FIG.
[0208] Each of the passenger rooms 611 has a space that can accommodate one vehicle 11 .
[0209] For example, as shown in Fig. 18, the user can enter a station 602 while on board the mobile object 11. Furthermore, as shown in Figs. 19 and 20, the user can enter a passenger compartment 611 of a train 601 while on board the mobile object 11. The user can then stay in the passenger compartment 611 while on board the mobile object 11 and travel between stations.
[0210] In this way, the user can ride the train 601 while remaining aboard the moving body 11 and isolated from other users. Furthermore, since each passenger compartment 611 is independent, the user can travel between stations while being isolated from other users. For example, the user can perform various tasks, such as work, inside the moving body 11 while traveling. Furthermore, since the user can travel on the train 601 without getting off the moving body 11, travel time can be shortened.
[0211] <Example of Use in Residence 701> Next, an example of use of the present technology in a residence 701 will be described with reference to Figs. 21 and 22 .
[0212] Since the mobile body 11 is very compact, for example, in the residence 701, a space for placing the mobile body 11 (hereinafter referred to as the mobile body space) may be provided in each room, so that each user (resident) can access each room while riding on the mobile body 11.
[0213] FIG. 21 shows an example of the floor plan of a residence 701 .
[0214] The residence 701 includes private spaces 711A to 711D and a common space 712. The private spaces 711A to 711D are arranged in a square shape surrounding the common space 712 in the center.
[0215] Private spaces 711A to 711D each have the same configuration. For example, private space 711A includes a room 721A and a space for a moving object 722A. Private space 711B includes a room 721B and a space for a moving object 722B. Private space 711C includes a room 721C and a space for a moving object 722C. Private space 711D includes a room 721D and a space for a moving object 722D.
[0216] Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the private spaces 711A to 711D, they will simply be referred to as private spaces 711. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the rooms 721A to 721D, they will simply be referred to as rooms 721. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the mobile object spaces 722A to 722D, they will simply be referred to as mobile object spaces 722.
[0217] FIG. 22 is a perspective view schematically showing the configuration of the private space 711. As shown in FIG.
[0218] In each private space 711, a user can enter the mobile object space 722 directly from outside the residence 701 while riding in the mobile object 11 and place the mobile object 11 in the mobile object space 722. The rooms 721 in each private space 711 are connected to the mobile object space 722, allowing the user to freely move between the rooms 721 and the mobile object space 722. Furthermore, each room 721 is connected to the shared space 712, allowing the user to freely move between each room 721A and the shared space 712.
[0219] Therefore, a user can enter his or her own private space 711 and live in isolation from other users without coming into contact with users (residents) of other private spaces 711. Furthermore, by utilizing the shared space 712, users of each private space 711 can easily interact with each other.
[0220] For example, when a family uses the residence 701, the common space 712 is used as a living room, and the private spaces 711A to 711D are used as individual rooms for each member of the family.
[0221] For example, when a plurality of residents share a residence 701, a common space 712 is used as a social space, and private spaces 711A to 711D are used as living spaces for each resident.
[0222] <Example of Use in Office 801> Next, an example of use of the present technology in an office 801 of a company or the like will be described with reference to FIGS. 23 and 24. FIG.
[0223] Since the mobile body 11 is very compact, for example, in an office 801, each member of an organization such as a company may be given a private room, and a space for the mobile body 11 may be provided in each private room, so that each member can access each private room while riding on the mobile body 11.
[0224] FIG. 23 shows an example of the layout of the office 801 .
[0225] The office 801 includes private spaces 811A to 811F, a conference room 812, an elevator 813A, an elevator 813B, and a corridor 814.
[0226] Private spaces 811A to 811D are arranged along one side (the left side in the figure) of a corridor 814. Private spaces 811E to 811F and conference room 812 are arranged along the other side (the right side in the figure) of the corridor 814. Conference room 812 is located between private spaces 811E and 811F. Elevators 813A and 813B are located at both ends of the corridor 814, respectively.
[0227] Private spaces 811A to 811F each have the same configuration. For example, private space 811A includes a room 821A and a space for moving objects 822A. Private space 811B includes a room 821B and a space for moving objects 822B. Private space 811C includes a room 821C and a space for moving objects 822C. Private space 811D includes a room 821D and a space for moving objects 822D. Private space 811E includes a room 821E and a space for moving objects 822E. Private space 811F includes a room 821A and a space for moving objects 822F.
[0228] Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the private spaces 811A to 811F, they will simply be referred to as private spaces 811. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the rooms 821A to 821F, they will simply be referred to as rooms 821. Hereinafter, when there is no need to distinguish between the mobile body spaces 822A to 822F, they will simply be referred to as mobile body spaces 822.
[0229] FIG. 24 is a perspective view schematically showing the configuration of the private space 811.
[0230] In each private space 811, a user can enter the space for mobile objects 822 directly from the corridor 814 while riding on the mobile object 11 and place the mobile object 11 in the space for mobile objects 822. The room 821 and the space for mobile objects 822 in each private space 811 are connected, and the user can freely move between the room 821 and the space for mobile objects 822.
[0231] Therefore, for example, after arriving at work, a user can enter his or her own private space 811 with almost no contact with other members of the private space 811 and carry out work or other tasks in isolation from other members.
[0232] <Example of Use at an Event> Next, with reference to FIG. 25 , an example of use of the present technology at an event will be described.
[0233] FIG. 25 is a schematic diagram showing the state of an event venue such as a concert.
[0234] As shown in this figure, each user can participate in the event while remaining aboard a vehicle 11 .
[0235] This allows each user to enjoy the event while maintaining isolation from other spectators. For example, each user can directly view the event on the stage 901 from each mobile body 11, or view the event via a display device provided in the output unit 318 of each mobile body 11. For example, each user can view the event from a preferred angle or position by selecting an image displayed on the display device. For example, while watching the other spectators from each mobile body 11, each user can feel a sense of unity with the other spectators by engaging in call-and-response with the other spectators or moving the mobile body 11 in coordination with the other spectators.
[0236] For example, if the mobile bodies 11 are capable of automatic driving, each mobile body 11 may cooperate with the other mobile bodies 11 or may follow remote control from the server 13, so that each mobile body 11 moves in a coordinated manner around the stage 901. This allows each user to feel a greater sense of unity.
[0237] <Example of Image Display on Moving Object 11> Next, an example of image display on the moving object 11 will be described with reference to FIG.
[0238] For example, xR (cross reality) technology may be used to display visual information superimposed on the scenery around the moving object 11 within the user's field of vision.
[0239] 26 shows an example in which visual information is superimposed on the scenery seen from the windshield 951 in front of the canopy 103 of the moving body 11a within the user's field of view. In this example, images representing avatars 961 and 962 are displayed through the windshield 951 within the user's field of view.
[0240] Here, for example, visual information may be superimposed on the actual scenery around the moving body 11, or an image of the surroundings of the moving body 11 with visual information superimposed thereon may be displayed.
[0241] This makes it possible to present useful information to the user and entertain the user, for example.
[0242] <<3. Modifications>> Modifications of the above-described embodiments of the present technology will now be described.
[0243] <Modifications of the Configuration of Information Processing System 1> The configuration of the information processing system 1 described above is one example, and can be modified.
[0244] For example, part of the processing of the server 13 may be performed by the mobile object 11 or the information processing terminal 12. Specifically, for example, part or all of the processing of the settlement unit 563, the learning unit 564, and the recommendation unit 565 in FIG.
[0245] <Modifications Related to the Example of Use in the Commercial Facility 501> For example, the movement control unit 363 of the mobile object 11 may control the movement of the mobile object 11 within the commercial facility 501 based on commercial facility information (e.g., map information, etc.). For example, the movement control unit 363 may cause the mobile object 11 to visit each sales floor within the commercial facility 501 based on a shopping list created by the user and the commercial facility information so that all items on the shopping list can be purchased. Furthermore, for example, the movement control unit 363 may recognize items that the user needs to purchase based on a menu or the like created by the user instead of a shopping list, and cause the mobile object 11 to visit each sales floor within the commercial facility 501 so that all of the recognized items can be purchased.
[0246] For example, the movement control unit 363 of the mobile object 11 may control the movement of the mobile object 11 within the commercial facility 501 in accordance with remote control by the remote control unit 567 of the server 13a. In this case, for example, the remote control unit 567 may remotely control the mobile object 11 to visit each sales floor within the commercial facility 501 so that all items on a shopping list created by the user can be purchased. Furthermore, for example, the remote control unit 567 may recognize items that the user needs to purchase based on a menu or the like created by the user instead of a shopping list, and remotely control the mobile object 11 to visit each sales floor within the commercial facility 501 so that all the recognized items can be purchased.
[0247] For example, in a facility other than a commercial facility, the user may be able to move around and use the facility while remaining on the vehicle 11. Examples of such a facility include exhibition facilities such as art galleries and museums.
[0248] <Other Modifications> The present technology can also be applied to personal mobility devices that need to be driven by human power, such as power-assisted bicycles.
[0249] The present technology can also be applied to, for example, personal mobility that can move using a power source other than electricity.
