Description

Portable burner with wing cover for covering the burner

[0001] The present invention relates to a portable burner having a wing cover for covering a burner, which is conveniently used for camping, mountaineering, leisure activities, or indoors and outdoors, and more specifically, to a portable burner in which wing covers that can rotate up and down are connected to both sides of a main body in which a burner is formed by a link member, so that when not in use, the wing covers can be rotated toward the upper surface of the main body to cover the burner, and the entire burner can be folded more compactly for carrying and storage, and the burner can be displayed as is without using a separate case by protecting the burner with the wing covers and enhancing aesthetics, and can function as an interior decoration item sufficient for the user's convenience.

[0002] A typical portable burner has a separate gas container mounting portion on one side of the main body having a burner, and the gas container mounting portion is opened and closed with a cover.

[0003] These portable burners are carried and stored in a separate bag.

[0004] Meanwhile, the number of people using camping has been increasing recently, and one of the essential camping supplies is a burner (stove).

[0005] And when camping, although general portable burners are used, camping burners of various types, such as those with only a connector on the burner, are mainly used.

[0006] The main reason for purchasing a camping burner instead of a regular portable burner is the firepower, but another reason is that it is difficult to store and transport.

[0007] Especially when going camping, the number of items is so large that it is difficult to pack them, so camping items that are as small as possible and compact enough to reduce the volume when stored are popular. However, general portable burners tend to be avoided due to their ambiguous volume when packed in a plastic bag because they are wide and flat.

[0008] However, since camping burners are much more expensive than general portable burners, the cost burden is high when purchasing them, so there is a need to develop a product that can be safely used in the form of a low-cost general portable burner, but is also convenient to carry and store.

[0009] Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable burner that can be folded into a more compact form for carrying and storage by covering the burner on both sides with wing covers when not in use to enhance aesthetics.

[0010] In order to achieve the above purpose, a portable burner according to the present invention comprises a main body having a burner, and wing covers on both sides which are connected to each of the main body's two ends by link members and are rotatable to overlap the upper surface of the main body and receive the burner when rotated upward, and one of the wing covers on both sides includes a gas container mounting portion having a connector connected to the burner.

[0011] And in the portable burner according to the present invention, it is characterized in that the other of the two wing covers includes a storage compartment.

[0012] In addition, in the portable burner according to the present invention, the link member is characterized in that both side ends are hingedly connected to the inside of the main body and the inside of the wing cover, respectively, and the main body is formed with a slit that is rotatable by inserting the link member and is connected to the side and upper surfaces.

[0013] In addition, the portable burner according to the present invention is characterized by further including a fixing means for maintaining the wing cover in an upward rotation completion state or a downward rotation completion state.

[0014] A portable burner according to the present invention,

[0015] The wing cover, which has a gas container mounting section and a storage section, is connected to both sides of the main body with a link member rotation structure, so that when not in use, the wing cover can be rotated to the upper surface of the main body and folded to create a more compact design for carrying and storage, while safely covering the firebox, eliminating the need for a separate bag.

[0016] By simplifying the structure required for the up-and-down rotation of the wing cover, the rotation operation of the wing cover is made more stable.

[0017] This has the effect of making it safer to use and store by ensuring that the wing cover is fixed in place without moving when folded or unfolded.

[0018] Figures 1 to 4 are perspective views of a portable burner according to the present invention.

[0019] Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of a portable burner according to the present invention viewed from the rear.

[0020] Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of a portable burner according to the present invention as viewed from above.

[0037] For the convenience of describing the portable burner according to the present invention, a rough, non-strict directional reference is specified with reference to FIG. 1. The direction in which gravity acts is downward, and the up, down, left, and right are determined as the directions shown, and the detailed description and claims of the invention related to other drawings also specify and describe the directions according to this reference unless otherwise specifically stated.

[0038] Hereinafter, a portable burner according to the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0039] The present invention relates to a portable burner as shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, which largely includes a main body (10) having a burner (11), and a pair of wing covers (20A) (20B) each having a gas container mounting portion (23) and a storage portion (24).

[0040] Specifically, the present invention

[0041] A body (10) having a crater (11),

[0042] It includes wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides of the main body (10) which are connected to each side by link members (21) and can rotate to overlap the upper surface of the main body (10) and receive the crater (11) when rotated upward.

[0043] One of the above-mentioned wing covers (20A) (20B) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the first wing cover (20A)) includes a gas container mounting portion (23) having a connector (22) connected to the crater (11).

[0044] The other of the above-mentioned wing covers (20A) (20B) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the second wing cover (20B)) includes a storage section (24).

[0045] The above body (10) is in the form of a general burner and has a burner (11) on the upper surface, and a stand is provided around the burner (11).

[0046] The first wing cover (20A) and the second wing cover (20B) are arranged in parallel on both sides of the main body (10), and when not in use, the wing covers (20A) (20B) can be rotated upward toward the upper surface of the main body (10) to cover the crater (11).

[0047] The first wing cover (20A) above has a rear end of the gas container mounting portion (23) that is opened in the shape of a gas container, so that a gas container can be inserted forward and the gas container can be connected to the connector (22) provided on the front end of the gas container mounting portion (23).

[0048] This first wing cover (20A) is equipped with an ignition means capable of ignition, extinguishment, and firepower control. In the drawing, only a general knob (25)-shaped ignition means is shown as a representative example, but a general burner safety valve, etc. may be added.

[0049] The second wing cover (20B) has the same shape and structure as the first wing cover (20A), but since the connector (22) is not provided, the second wing cover (20B) has a storage section (24) inside which other camping equipment or unused gas containers can be additionally stored.

[0050] This second wing cover (20B) is not only used for storing items, but also protects the burner (11) by covering it together with the first wing cover (20A) when not in use, and at the same time, hides the shape of the burner to create an old-fashioned radio-like feeling, so that it can be displayed directly and used as an interior decoration without having to be stored separately in a separate bag.

[0051] And the first wing cover (20A) and the second wing cover (20B) are formed in a form in which the inner side and the lower side are open, so that when rotating upward, they are in close contact with the upper surface of the main body (10), and the crater (11) and the stand protruding from the upper surface of the main body (10) are accommodated and hidden within the wing covers (20A) (20B).

[0052] However, if the main body (10) is of a type that can lower the height of the burner and flip over the top plate with protruding supports like a general burner, the opened structure of the wing covers (20A) (20B) may be different from the drawing.

[0053] Again, the above link member (21) is hingedly connected at both ends to the inside of the main body (10) and the inside of each wing cover (20A) (20B),

[0054] The above main body (10) is formed with a first slit (12) that can rotate by inserting the link member (21) and is connected to the side and upper surfaces.

[0055] Specifically, first, inside the main body (10), a first support part (14) protrudes to a predetermined height, and inside each wing cover (20A) (20B), a second support part (26) of a lower height than the first support part (14) protrudes.

[0056] Both ends of the link member (21) in the shape of a bar are hinge-connected to the first support member (14) and the second support member (26), respectively.

[0057] These link members (21) are provided in a set of two, one in front and one in back of each wing cover (20A) (20B).

[0058] In addition, the first slit (12) is formed by cutting a portion of the upper surface and side surface of the main body (10) in a groove shape along the rotation path of the link member (21), so that the link member (21) penetrates the upper surface and side surface of the main body (10) and is connected, so that the wing cover (20A) (20B) is in close contact with the main body (10) when the up-and-down rotation is completed.

[0059] Drawing symbol 13 is a second slit, which allows a hose or pipe (not indicated by drawing symbol) connecting the crater (11) and the connector (22) to pass through the second slit when the first wing cover (20A) rotates up and down.

[0060] Furthermore, the present invention further includes a fixing means for maintaining the wing cover (20A) (20B) in an upward rotation completion state or a downward rotation completion state.

[0061] As a first embodiment of the above fixing means, the present invention includes a magnet (27) provided on the inner side that contacts both sides of the main body (10) in each wing cover (20A) (20B).

[0062] First, the main body (10) may be additionally provided with a separate magnet that can be magnetically attached to the magnets (27) of the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides, or the material of the main body (10) itself may be made of a material that can be magnetically attached.

[0063] However, the magnets (27) of the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides are arranged in positions symmetrical to each other and have different polarities.

[0064] Accordingly, when the wing covers (20A) (20B) are folded to the upper surface of the main body (10) when not in use, the magnets (27) of the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides are magnetically attached to each other, thereby preventing the wing covers (20A) (20B) from unintentionally opening and rotating downward.

[0065] In addition, when the wing covers (20A) (20B) are spread out to both sides for use, the magnets (27) of each wing cover (20A) (20B) on both sides are magnetically attached to both sides of the main body (10), thereby fixing the wing covers (20A) (20B) in place.

[0066] Next, as a second embodiment of the fixing means, the present invention includes a fixing bolt (28) that is inserted by penetrating each wing cover (20A) (20B) in the horizontal direction left and right, and whose inner leading end can be screwed to the wing cover (20A) (20B) on both sides of the main body (10) or on the opposite side.

[0067] Each wing cover (20A) (20B) has a fixing bolt (28) fitted into the outer surface, and a guide portion (29) having a guide hole (291) that is supported by the fixing bolt (28) fitted into the inner end of the bottom portion protrudes upward.

[0068] And, on both sides of the main body (10), a first fastening hole (15) is provided in the form of a screw tap, into which the screw portion of the fixing bolt (28) can be screwed.

[0069] Therefore, by spreading the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides to the left and right and then tightening the fixing bolt (28) into the first fastening hole (15), the crater (11) can be used safely in a fixed state without the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides moving unintentionally.

[0070] In addition, the fixing bolts (28) of the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides are positioned offset from each other on different lines rather than on the same left and right line, and each guide portion (29) is provided with a second fastening hole (292) in the form of a screw tap, into which the screw portion of the fixing bolt (28) on the opposite side can be screw-connected.

[0071] Referring to the drawing, the guide part (29) of the first wing cover (20A) is provided with a second fastening hole (292) at the rear thereof while a fixing bolt (28) is fitted into the front guide hole (291).

[0072] The guide part (29) of the second wing cover (20B) is provided with a second fastening hole (292) in front thereof, with a fixing bolt (28) fitted into the guide hole (291) at the rear, opposite to the first wing cover (20A).

[0073] The guide hole (291) of the first wing cover (20A) and the second fastening hole (292) of the second wing cover (20B) are aligned on the same left and right line, and the second fastening hole (292) of the first wing cover (20A) and the guide hole (291) of the second wing cover (20B) are aligned on the same left and right line.

[0074] Accordingly, when the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides are folded toward the upper surface of the main body (10), the fixing bolts (28) on both sides are aligned with the second fastening holes (292) of the wing covers (20A) (20B) on the opposite side, and each fixing bolt (28) is fastened to the second fastening hole (292), thereby preventing the wing covers (20A) (20B) on both sides from being unintentionally unfolded during carrying and storage.

[0075] In describing the present invention above, the portable burner has been mainly described with reference to the attached drawings, but the present invention can be variously modified, changed, and substituted by those skilled in the art, and such modifications, changes, and substitutions should be interpreted as falling within the scope of protection of the present invention.
