Description

[0001] Furniture element

[0002] The present invention relates to a furniture element, in particular a shelf with at least one storage level according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0003] The invention further relates to a piece of furniture and a household appliance comprising such a furniture element.

[0004] A generic furniture element is known, for example, from DE 10 2020 124 885 A1.

[0005] Such furniture elements are ideal for placement in the corner of a room or as part of a piece of furniture in a corner area, as they can be moved from an initial position to an open or use position using a combined rotational-translational movement. Translational-rotational fittings, which are attached to the floor or ceiling of the furniture element, are used for the translational-rotational movement.

[0006] Alternative concepts of translational-rotational fittings include fittings that first enable a translation out of the corner of the room or out of the corner area of the furniture and subsequently a corresponding rotational movement of the furniture element.

[0007] In order to protect such translational-rotation fittings from dust and to prevent the hand from coming into the area of this translational-rotation fitting when a translational-rotation movement is triggered with one hand, these areas between an upper side of the ceiling of the furniture element and the underside of a cover arranged above it and / or between an underside of the floor of the furniture element and the upper side of a floor of the furniture arranged below it are covered by covers attached to the sides of the ceiling or the floor of the furniture element.

[0008] Another important function of the covers is to conceal the fittings for aesthetic reasons. Depending on the height of the installed translational-rotational fitting, covers with different widths must be provided to completely cover the translational-rotational fittings from the sides.

[0009] The object of the present invention is to further develop a furniture element in such a way that simple assembly is possible even when using translational rotation fittings of different fitting heights.

[0010] This object is achieved by a furniture element having the features of claim 1.

[0011] The problem is further solved by a piece of furniture having the features of claim 10.

[0012] The furniture element according to the invention, in particular a shelf with at least one storage level, has a base plate and a ceiling plate.

[0013] A translation-rotation fitting is arranged on an underside of the base plate facing away from the ceiling plate and / or on an upper side of the ceiling plate facing away from the floor plate, with which the furniture element can be moved in a preferably combined translation-rotation movement from an initial position into an opening end position and back into the initial position.

[0014] The furniture element further comprises at least one panel profile arranged on an edge region of the base plate and / or the ceiling plate.

[0015] The cover profile is fixed by means of at least one adapter arranged on the underside of the floor plate or the top of the ceiling plate.

[0016] The adapter has at least two stops for variable positioning of the cover profile in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the floor or ceiling panel for lateral concealment for translation-rotation fittings with at least two different fitting heights.

[0017] A furniture element designed in this way makes it easy to conceal the translational / rotational fitting mounted on the furniture. Different fitting heights of a translational / rotational fitting installed in the furniture element can be easily concealed by varying the orientation of the adapter, as this different orientation allows the panels to be fixed at different heights, viewed perpendicular to the plane of the floor or ceiling panel.

[0018] In addition, this makes it possible to use uniform cover profiles for different fitting heights of the translational-rotational fittings, since these can be mounted in such a way that they can be adapted to the fitting height of the translational-rotational fitting thanks to the variable positioning made possible by the adapters.

[0019] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.

[0020] According to an advantageous embodiment, the at least one cover profile is bent approximately U-shaped and has an outer cover leg visible in the assembled state, an inner positioning leg, and a mounting leg connected to the cover leg by a crosspiece between the cover leg and the positioning leg, forming a U-shaped receptacle with the positioning leg. In an alternative embodiment, the cover profile can be approximately L-shaped or I-shaped.

[0021] This allows for extremely simple installation of the cover profile on the adapter(s).

[0022] According to an advantageous development, the at least one adapter has an adapter base and a support body extending vertically from the adapter base, onto which the panel profile with its U-shaped receptacle can be plugged.

[0023] On opposite sides of the support body, grooves are formed at different heights, viewed perpendicular to the plane of the floor or ceiling panel. These grooves serve to support the positioning leg of the panel profile and thus, depending on the orientation of the adapters, enable the panel profiles to be attached to the furniture element in a manner adapted to the fitting height of the translational-rotational fitting. According to a further advantageous embodiment, a first groove is formed between the support body and a web formed on the edge of the adapter foot.

[0024] The support body is preferably approximately L-shaped, wherein a second groove is formed on the side of the support body opposite the first groove between a side surface of a long leg of the support body and a web formed at the end of a short leg of the support body.

[0025] It is also conceivable to form further grooves at further support heights on one or the two other opposite side surfaces of the support body.

[0026] According to a further advantageous embodiment, a transverse groove is formed on the side surfaces of the long leg of the support body at a predetermined distance from the respective groove. The transverse groove serves to accommodate a threaded pin for additional fastening of the cover profile to the support body. Chamfered boundary walls of the transverse groove serve to compensate for manufacturing tolerances by pulling the cover profile toward the support body when tightening the threaded pin.

[0027] According to a further advantageous embodiment, the height of the cover leg, viewed parallel to the longitudinal extension of the long leg of the support body, is greater than a maximum fitting height of the usable translation-rotation fittings, wherein the free end of the cover leg in the mounted state rests against a side surface of the floor or ceiling plate or ends at the level of the side surface of the floor or ceiling plate.

[0028] For further stabilization, the furniture element preferably has at least one profile element fixed between the base plate and the ceiling plate.

[0029] The furniture according to the invention, comprising a furniture body and a furniture element rotatably mounted in the furniture body, is characterized by a furniture element as described above.

[0030] Likewise, a household appliance according to the invention, for example a refrigerator, has a body and an appliance element rotatably mounted in the body, wherein the appliance element is designed as a furniture element as described above.

[0031] Preferred embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show:

[0055] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, back, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the furniture element, base plate, ceiling plate, adapter, panel profile, and the like chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting; i.e., these references may change due to different working positions or mirror-symmetrical design, etc.

[0056] In Figures 1a, 1b, and 2, reference numeral 12 denotes an embodiment of a furniture element according to the invention. In the embodiment shown here, the furniture element 12 is designed as a shelf with three storage levels. The furniture element and the body have a polygonal cross-section, in particular, they are cuboid-shaped.

[0057] The furniture element 12 has, as can be clearly seen in Figures 1a and 2, a base plate 2 and a ceiling plate 3 as well as several profile elements 19 fixed to the base plate 2 and the ceiling plate 3.

[0058] In the furniture element 12 shown here, the base plate 2 and the ceiling plate 3 are further connected to each other by two sides at right angles to each other via side walls 17.

[0059] The furniture element can also be designed without any profile elements. A corresponding furniture element 12 is shown in Figure 1b. The furniture can also be designed as a frame construction, without side walls or with three side walls.

[0060] In order to stabilize the furniture element 12 in a front corner area of the base plate 2, the ceiling plate 3 and the storage plates 18 arranged therebetween in Figures 1 and 2, profile elements 19 are provided in the embodiment shown.

[0061] The profile elements 19 advantageously also serve as a handle in order to be able to move the cuboid-shaped furniture element 12 in the combined translation-rotation movement specified by a translation-rotation fitting 4.

[0062] Such a translation-rotation fitting 4 is arranged on an underside of the floor panel 2 facing away from the ceiling panel 3 and / or on an upper side 31 of the ceiling panel 3 facing away from the floor panel 2. In this exemplary embodiment, it is a fitting with a combined translation-rotation movement.

[0063] Alternative concepts of translational-rotational fittings include fittings that first enable a translation out of the corner of the room or out of the corner area of the furniture and subsequently a corresponding rotational movement of the furniture element.

[0064] With the translation-rotation fitting 4 or the translation-rotation fittings 4, the furniture element 12 can be moved in a combined translation-rotation movement from an initial position shown as an example in Figure 25 into an opening end position shown in Figure 28 and back into the initial position.

[0065] The simultaneous translational-rotational movement of the furniture element 12, preferably of a piece of furniture 10 or household appliance, as shown by way of example in Figures 25 to 28, is carried out at least partially in a forced manner relative to a body 11 of the furniture 10 in one of two opposite directions of rotation Ri, R2 and in a predetermined translational direction A.

[0066] Household appliances according to the invention can be, for example, wine coolers or general refrigeration appliances. Such a household appliance also comprises a body and a device element rotatably mounted in the body. The device element corresponds to the furniture element 12 of the furniture 10, which is coupled to the body of the household appliance via the translation-rotation fitting 4.

[0067] In this exemplary embodiment, the translation-rotation fitting 4 essentially comprises a first fitting plate 41 which can be fastened to a ceiling 14 of the first body 11 and a second fitting plate 42 which can be fastened to the ceiling plate 3 of the furniture element 12 and which can be moved simultaneously in a translational and rotational manner relative to the first fitting plate 41.

[0068] Furthermore, the translation-rotation fitting 4 has a linear guide 44 arranged on the first fitting plate 2 with at least one, in the embodiment shown according to Figure 2, two first rails and respective second rails displaceable relative to the first rail in a translation direction A.

[0069] The translation-rotation fitting 4 also has a pivot bearing 45 with a first pivot bearing section arranged in a fixed position on the linear guide 44, a second pivot bearing section arranged on the second fitting plate 42 and a rolling bearing (not shown) arranged between the pivot bearing sections.

[0070] Furthermore, a guide element (not shown here) is fastened to the first fitting plate 2, preferably in the form of a guide roller which is rotatable about a vertical axis, ie an axis extending in the Z direction, and which is guided in a guide track 43 which is arranged, in particular formed, in the second fitting plate 42.

[0071] A translational-rotary fitting can also have a different motion control, for example with rolling or sliding elements guided in raceways, or with rods or by means of a drive.

[0072] Figures 26 and 27 show, to further illustrate the movement sequence of the translational-rotational movement of the furniture element 12, exemplary intermediate positions of the furniture element 12, installed in the body 11 of the furniture 10. As further shown in Figures 1 and 2, the furniture element 12 has at least one panel profile 5 arranged on a side surface 22, 32 of the base plate 2 and / or the ceiling plate 3.

[0073] The panel profile 5 or the plurality of panel profiles 5 is / are fixed by means of at least one adapter(s) 6 arranged on the underside of the base plate 2 or the upper side 31 of the ceiling plate 3.

[0074] The cover profile 5 serves to laterally cover the space between the upper side 31 of the ceiling panel 3 and a ceiling 14 of the furniture 10 or the space between a lower side of the base panel 2 and the floor 13 of the furniture 10, in which such a translation-rotation fitting 4 is arranged.

[0075] Since, depending on the load-bearing requirements of the translation-rotation fitting 4, such a translation-rotation fitting 4 can be designed with different fitting heights, the dimension of the height of the cover profile 5 is dimensioned such that translation-rotation fittings 4 with different fitting heights can be covered by the cover profile 5 and when using a translation-rotation fitting 4 with a specific fitting height, the cover profile 5 can be attached to the floor plate 2 or the ceiling plate 3 with a correspondingly offset height.

[0076] For this purpose, the adapter 6 has at least two stops 61, 62 for the variable positioning of the panel profile 5 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the floor or ceiling panel 2, 3.

[0077] In order to take into account the different fitting heights of the translational-rotational fitting 4 used, it is accordingly only necessary to fix the adapters 6 in the appropriate orientation on the base plate 2 or the ceiling plate 3, as is shown by way of example in a comparison of Figures 3 to 6 on the one hand and Figures 7 to 10 on the other hand.

[0078] In Figures 3 to 6, the adapters 6 are aligned so that the cover profiles 5 laterally cover a translation-rotation fitting 4 with a lower fitting height.

[0079] In the variant shown in Figures 7 to 10, the adapters

[0080] 6 are fixed to the ceiling panel 3 rotated by 180° around a vertical axis and thus enable the panel profiles 5 to be fixed in such a way that they cover a larger remaining gap in the direction z between the ceiling panel 3 and the ceiling 14.

[0081] As shown in Figures 21 and 22, the at least one panel profile 5 is bent approximately in a U-shape.

[0082] The panel profile 5 has an outer panel leg 51 visible in the assembled state, an inner positioning leg 52 and a mounting leg 53 between the panel leg 51 and the positioning leg 52, which is connected to the panel leg 51 by a crossbar 56 and forms a U-shaped receptacle 54 with the positioning leg 52.

[0083] The at least one adapter 8 has, as shown in Figures 23a to 23d, an adapter foot 63 and a support body 64 extending vertically from the adapter foot 63 in a direction z.

[0084] The cover profile 5 with its U-shaped receptacle 54 can be plugged onto this support body 64, as can be seen, for example, in Figures 5 and 9.

[0085] The stops 61, 62 are formed on opposite sides of the support body 64 at different heights, viewed perpendicular to the plane of the floor or ceiling plate 2, 3, in a direction z.

[0086] The stops 61, 62 serve to support the positioning leg 52 of the respective panel profile 5, as can also be clearly seen in Figures 5 and 9.

[0087] The stops 61, 62 are preferably designed as grooves.

[0088] As shown in Figures 23a to 23d, a groove formed as a first stop 61 is formed between the support body 64 and a web 66 formed on the edge of the adapter foot 63.

[0089] The support body 64 itself is approximately L-shaped when viewed in a vertical plane. A groove formed as a second stop 62 is formed on the side of the support body 64 opposite the first stop 61 between a side surface 643 of a long leg 641 of the support body 64 and a web 67 formed at the end of a short leg 642 of the support body 64.

[0090] Alternatively, the adapter can also have a different shape, for example to form additional stops in a height range between the first stop 61 and the second stop 62 in order to achieve an even better coordination between the panel profile height and the fitting height.

[0091] As further shown in Figures 23a to 23d, a transverse groove 65 is formed on side surfaces 643 of the long leg 641 of the support body 64 at a predetermined distance from the respective stop 61, 62.

[0092] The height of the panel leg 51, viewed parallel to the longitudinal extension of the long leg 641 of the support body 64, is greater than a maximum fitting height of the usable translation-rotation fittings 4.

[0093] In the assembled state, the free end 55 of the panel leg 51 rests against a side surface 22, 32 of the floor or ceiling plate 2, 3, as shown in Figures 5 and 9.

[0094] It is also conceivable that the free end 55 of the panel leg 51 ends at the level of the side surface 22, 32 of the floor or ceiling plate 2, 3 and does not lie directly against the side surface 22, 32 of the floor or ceiling plate 2, 3.

[0095] As illustrated in Figures 11a and 11b as well as 12a and 12b, clamping elements 16 with lateral overlaps are inserted into the front ends of the profile elements 19 to accommodate shelves 18 of different material thicknesses. These clamping elements encompass the respective shelves 18 from two sides, thus ensuring reliable support of the profile elements 19. As can be seen in Figure 2, the cover profile 15 is attached to the profile elements 19 by retaining elements 9.

[0096] The bracing of the shelves 18 using such clamping elements 16 also enables attachment to shelves 18 with different material thicknesses (thickness in the z-direction). As shown in Figures 11b and 12b, the profile elements 19 are preferably covered by a profile element cover 15 after their installation on the base plate 2, the ceiling plate 3, and the shelves 18.

[0097] In the embodiment shown, the profile element cover 15 is designed as a continuous strip from the floor plate 2 to the ceiling plate 3.

[0098] Furthermore, as shown by way of example in Figures 15 to 18, in the area of the corner of the base plate 2 and / or the ceiling plate 3, an attachment part 7 and a holding element 9 for the cover profile 15 are placed on the adapter 6 arranged in this corner area in order to fix the profile element cover 15, for holding and aligning the profile element cover 15 and also the respective cover profile 5, as shown by way of example in Figure 18.

[0099] Figures 24a and 24b show an alternative embodiment of a plug-on part 7' for the furniture element 12 shown in Figure 1b without vertical profile elements 19, wherein the plug-on part 7' is provided with smooth visible sides on its outwardly visible wall sides.

[0100] The adapters 6 are preferably screwed to the top of the ceiling panel 3 or the underside of the floor panel 2. Gluing or locking, or a form-fitting connection of the adapters 6 to the floor panel 2 or ceiling panel 3 is also conceivable.

[0101] Figures 13 to 20 show the assembly process of the panel profiles in individual steps, using the ceiling panel 3 of the furniture element 12 as an example.

[0102] As shown in Figures 13 and 14, the adapters 6 are first placed and fastened in the appropriate orientation on the top side of the ceiling panel 3.

[0103] Subsequently, as shown in Figures 15 and 16, the mounting of the plug-on part 7 and the holding element 9 is carried out on the adapter 6 mounted on the front corner, on the underside of which the profile element 19 is attached.

[0104] Subsequently, as shown in Figures 17 and 18, the two cover profiles 5 are placed on the adapters 6. The profile element cover 15 is then mounted, as shown in Figures 19 and 20.
