Description

Fixing structure for linear member and injection molding machine

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a fixing structure for a linear member and an injection molding machine.

[0002] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. 2002-232161 discloses a structure for fixing lead wires to a substrate. Two through holes are formed in the substrate. A worker passes one end of a cable tie from the surface of the substrate through one of the through holes. Next, the worker inserts his / her hand into the back side of the substrate and passes the end of the cable tie that passed through the through hole through the other through hole. This allows the worker to pull out one end of the cable tie to the surface of the substrate. A lead wire is disposed between the two through holes on the surface of the substrate. The worker connects both ends of the cable tie to fix the lead wire to the substrate.

[0003] There is a need for a fixing structure that can simply and easily fix a linear member used in an injection molding machine to the injection molding machine.

[0004] A first aspect of the present disclosure is a fixing structure for fixing a linear member used in an injection molding machine to the injection molding machine, the fixing structure for a linear member having a plate member having a through hole formed therein and a tongue portion protruding from the inner wall of the through hole of the plate member and positioned within the through hole.

[0005] A second aspect of the present disclosure is an injection molding machine including the linear member fixing structure of the first aspect.

[0006] FIG. 1 is a side view of an injection molding machine according to this embodiment. FIG. 2 is a plan view of the machine base. FIG. 3A is a plan view of a fixing structure according to this embodiment, and FIG. 3B is a plan view of a first modified example. [0007] In industrial machinery such as an injection molding machine, a linear member used in the industrial machinery may be fixed to the industrial machinery. In this case, for example, two through holes are formed in a plate member constituting the industrial machinery. A worker passes one end of a cable tie from the surface of the plate member through one of the through holes. Next, the worker inserts his / her hand into the back side of the plate member and passes the one end of the cable tie that passed through the through hole through the other through hole. This causes the worker to pull the one end of the cable tie to the surface of the plate member. Next, the worker places the linear member between the two through holes on the surface of the plate member. After that, the worker secures the linear member to the plate member by connecting both ends of the cable tie.

[0008] However, when two through holes are formed in a relatively narrow location, the operator cannot reach behind the plate member. An object of the technology disclosed herein is to provide a fixing structure and an injection molding machine that can simply and easily fix a linear member to a plate member.

[0009] [Present Embodiment] Figure 1 is a side view of an injection molding machine 10 of this embodiment. The injection molding machine 10 includes a machine base 12, a mold clamping device 14, an injection device 16, and a plurality of control devices 18. The front-to-rear direction of the injection molding machine 10 is the left-to-right direction in Figures 1 and 2. The height direction of the injection molding machine 10 is the up-to-down direction in Figure 1. The width direction of the injection molding machine 10 is a direction perpendicular to the front-to-rear direction and the height direction.

[0010] The machine base 12 is placed on the floor (not shown) of the installation location of the injection molding machine 10. The machine base 12 may be supported on the floor via a plurality of support mechanisms (not shown). The machine base 12 has an upper frame 20, a lower frame 22, a plurality of support columns 24, a first floor plate 26, and a second floor plate 28.

[0011] The lower frame 22 is installed on the floor. The lower frame 22 is made of, for example, steel. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the lower frame 22 has a first member 30, a second member 32, and a plurality of third members 34. Note that the upper frame 20 and the plurality of support columns 24 are not shown in Figure 2.

[0012] The first member 30, the second member 32, and the plurality of third members 34 are pipe-shaped members. The first member 30 and the second member 32 extend in the front-rear direction of the injection molding machine 10. The first member 30 and the second member 32 are arranged on the floor surface at intervals in the width direction of the injection molding machine 10. The plurality of third members 34 are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction between the first member 30 and the second member 32. Each of the plurality of third members 34 extends in the width direction. The plurality of third members 34 connect the first member 30 and the second member 32.

[0013] 1, the plurality of support columns 24 extend upward from the first member 30 or the second member 32. The plurality of support columns 24 are made of, for example, a steel material.

[0014] The upper frame 20 is joined to the upper end surfaces of a plurality of support columns 24. The upper frame 20 is disposed above the lower frame 22. The upper frame 20 is supported by the lower frame 22 via the plurality of support columns 24. The upper frame 20 is made of, for example, a steel material.

[0015] 1 and 2 , a first floor plate 26 and a second floor plate 28 are arranged on the lower frame 22. The first floor plate 26 and the second floor plate 28 are supported by the first floor plate 26 and the second floor plate 28, for example, below the injection device 16, so as to straddle the first member 30 and the second member 32. The first floor plate 26 and the second floor plate 28 are supported by the first member 30 and the second member 32 with a gap therebetween above the floor surface. The first floor plate 26 and the second floor plate 28 are arranged side by side in the front-to-rear direction between the first member 30 and the second member 32. The first floor plate 26 and the second floor plate 28 are made of, for example, steel.

[0016] The mold clamping unit 14 is disposed on the upper frame 20. The mold clamping unit 14 has a fixed platen 36, a rear platen 38, a movable platen 40, a mold 42, a plurality of tie bars 44, and a toggle mechanism 46. The mold 42 is composed of a fixed mold 48 and a movable mold 50.

[0017] The injection unit 16 is disposed on the upper frame 20 so as to face the mold clamping unit 14 in the front-to-rear direction. The injection unit 16 has an injection section 52, a cylinder section 54, and a nozzle 56. The mold clamping unit 14 and the injection unit 16 are disposed on the upper frame 20 so that the fixed platen 36 and the nozzle 56 face each other in the front-to-rear direction. Note that the configurations of the mold clamping unit 14 and the injection unit 16 are well known, and therefore detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0018] A control panel 58 is disposed on the first floor plate 26. The control panel 58 is, for example, a high-voltage panel for controlling the mold clamping unit 14 and the injection unit 16. The control panel 58 has a duct 60 and a plurality of control devices 18. The duct 60 is disposed on the upper surface of the first floor plate 26. The duct 60 extends in the front-to-rear direction on the upper surface of the first floor plate 26. The duct 60 is a hollow housing. The duct 60 is composed of a plurality of plate-shaped frames 62 (fixed frames). The duct 60 is made of, for example, a steel material.

[0019] The multiple control devices 18 are fixed to the side surface of the duct 60. More specifically, the multiple control devices 18 are fixed to one frame 64 of the multiple frames 62 that make up the duct 60. The single frame 64 stands on the first floor plate 26 and extends in the front-to-rear direction. The multiple control devices 18 are fixed to the surface of the single frame 64 at intervals in the front-to-rear direction.

[0020] Each of the plurality of control devices 18 is a high-voltage device for controlling the mold clamping device 14 and the injection device 16. More specifically, each of the plurality of control devices 18 controls the mold clamping device 14 and the injection device 16 based on a command signal from a numerical control device (not shown) that is located outside the injection molding machine 10.

[0021] The injection molding machine 10 further includes a plurality of linear members 70. The linear members 70 are flexible wiring. Examples of the wiring include a power cable for supplying electric power, a signal cable for transmitting electric signals, and a pipe for supplying air.

[0022] The injection molding machine 10 further includes a fixing structure 80 (fixing structure for a linear member) for fixing the linear member 70 to the injection molding machine 10. The fixing structure 80 will be described with reference to Fig. 3A.

[0023] The fixing structure 80 has a plate member 82 and a tongue portion 84. The plate member 82 is a part of the injection molding machine 10. A through hole 86 is formed in the plate member 82. The tongue portion 84 protrudes into the through hole 86 from an inner wall 88 of the plate member 82 that forms the through hole 86. The tongue portion 84 is disposed within the through hole 86.

[0024] The tongue portion 84 has a rectangular shape. Of the four sides of the tongue portion 84, one side 90 is connected to an inner wall 88 that forms the through hole 86. In FIG. 3A , the side 90 is shown by a dashed line. The side 90 forms the base end of the tongue portion 84. The other three sides other than the side 90 are disposed within the through hole 86, separated from the inner wall 88 by a gap 91. Of the three sides, one side 92 facing the side 90 forms the tip of the tongue portion 84. Two sides 94 between the base end and the tip of the tongue portion 84 form side edges of the tongue portion 84. The two sides 94 face each other. The two sides 94 are connected to the side 90.

[0025] The tongue portion 84 may have parallel portions 96 that are parallel to each other. The two parallel portions 96 are formed by two sides 94 that form the side edges of the tongue portion 84. For each of the two sides 94, the entire side 94 forms the parallel portion 96. Therefore, in FIG. 3A , the two parallel portions 96 are connected to one side 90. Note that each of the two parallel portions 96 may be formed by a portion of the side 94.

[0026] The length L of the tongue portion 84 in the protruding direction (the distance between the base end and the tip end of the tongue portion 84) is shorter than the length H of the tongue portion 84 in the width direction perpendicular to the protruding direction (the distance between the two side edges of the tongue portion 84) (L<H). The width direction length H of the tongue portion 84 may be approximately the same as the width or diameter of the linear member 70. Alternatively, the width direction length H of the tongue portion 84 may be slightly larger than the width or diameter of the linear member 70. The length L of the tongue portion 84 in the protruding direction may be slightly larger than the width of the fixing device 100, which will be described later.

[0027] The linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 along the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84. The tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 are fixed together by a linear fixing device 100 such as a cable tie. Fig. 3A illustrates a case where one linear member 70 is fixed to the tongue portion 84 by the fixing device 100.

[0028] Specifically, the linear fastener 100 is bent into a U-shape, and the bent portion is inserted into the through-hole 86 from the surface of the plate member 82 (the surface of the plate member 82 on which the linear member 70 is arranged). Next, the fastener 100 is slid in the direction opposite to the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84, so that the bent portion is arranged on the back side of the tongue portion 84 (the opposite side of the tongue portion 84 from the linear member 70). At this time, both ends of the fastener 100 pass through the through-hole 86 and protrude to the front side of the tongue portion 84 (the side of the tongue portion 84 on which the linear member 70 is arranged). Thereafter, the fastener 100 is tightened and the both ends of the fastener 100 are connected, thereby fixing the linear member 70 to the tongue portion 84. As a result, the linear member 70 is fixed to the plate member 82.

[0029] It should be noted that two or more linear members 70 may be fixed to the tongue portion 84 by the fixing device 100 .

[0030] The fixing structure 80 configured as above is provided in the injection molding machine 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, for example, at the following locations.

[0031] The fixing structure 80 may be provided on the injection device 16. Specifically, a bracket 110, which is a plate member 82, is fixed to the surface of the injection section 52 of the injection device 16. The bracket 110 is a plate-shaped member. Both ends of the bracket 110 are fixed to the surface of the injection section 52. An intermediate portion of the bracket 110 is positioned with a gap between them and the surface of the injection section 52. A through-hole 86 (see FIG. 3A ) and a tongue portion 84 are formed in the intermediate portion of the bracket 110. The linear member 70 is fixed to the intermediate portion of the bracket 110. The linear member 70 is, for example, a wire connected to an electrical component arranged in the injection device 16.

[0032] The fixing structure 80 may be provided in the mold clamping unit 14. The fixing structure 80 is provided in at least one of the stationary platen 36, the rear platen 38, and the movable platen 40. FIG. 1 illustrates the case where the fixing structure 80 is provided in the stationary platen 36. When the fixing structure 80 is provided in the stationary platen 36, a bracket 112, which is a plate member 82, is fixed to the surface of the stationary platen 36. The bracket 112 is a plate-shaped member. Both ends of the bracket 112 are fixed to the surface of the stationary platen 36. An intermediate portion of the bracket 112 is positioned with a gap between them and the surface of the stationary platen 36. A through hole 86 and a tongue portion 84 are formed in the intermediate portion of the bracket 112. The linear member 70 is fixed to the intermediate portion of the bracket 112. The linear member 70 is, for example, a wire connected to an electrical component arranged in the mold clamping unit 14. When the fixing structure 80 is provided on the rear platen 38, the bracket 112 is fixed to the surface of the rear platen 38. When the fixing structure 80 is provided on the movable platen 40, the bracket 112 is fixed to the surface of the movable platen 40.

[0033] The fixing structure 80 may be provided on the frame 64 of the duct 60 of the control panel 58. Specifically, the frame 64 is a plate member 82. A through hole 86 and a tongue portion 84 are formed in the frame 64 near the control device 18. The linear member 70 is, for example, a wire connected to the control device 18.

[0034] The fixed structure 80 may be provided on the machine base 12. Specifically, the fixed structure 80 is provided on the first floor plate 26 or the second floor plate 28. The plate member 82 is the first floor plate 26 or the second floor plate 28.

[0035] When the fixing structure 80 is provided on the first floor plate 26, a through hole 86 and a tongue portion 84 are formed in the first floor plate 26 in the vicinity of the control device 18. The linear member 70 is, for example, a wire connected to the control device 18.

[0036] When the fixing structure 80 is provided on the second floor plate 28, a through hole 86 and a tongue portion 84 are formed in the second floor plate 28. The linear member 70 is, for example, a wire connected to the control device 18.

[0037] Next, a method for fixing the linear member 70 to the injection molding machine 10 will be described.

[0038] First, the worker bends linear fastener 100 into a U-shape and inserts the bent portion into through-hole 86 from the surface of plate member 82. Next, the worker slides fastener 100 in the direction opposite to the protruding direction of tongue portion 84. As a result, the bent portion of fastener 100 is positioned on the back side of tongue portion 84. In addition, both ends of fastener 100 pass through through-hole 86 and protrude from the front side of tongue portion 84.

[0039] Next, the worker places the linear member 70 on the front side of the tongue portion 84 along the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84. As a result, the linear member 70 is positioned between both ends of the fixing device 100.

[0040] Next, the worker tightens the fixing device 100 to connect both ends of the fixing device 100. This fixes the linear member 70 to the tongue portion 84. As a result, the linear member 70 is fixed to the plate member 82.

[0041] The effects of this embodiment will be described.

[0042] 3A , the fixing structure 80 includes a plate member 82 and a tongue portion 84. A through hole 86 is formed in the plate member 82. The tongue portion 84 protrudes from an inner wall 88 of the plate member 82 that defines the through hole 86 and is disposed within the through hole 86. This allows the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 to be fixed together by inserting a linear fastener 100 into the through hole 86 and tightening the fastener 100. As a result, the linear member 70 can be fixed to the plate member 82 simply and easily.

[0043] One side 90 of tongue portion 84 is connected to inner wall 88, and the other sides are disposed within through-hole 86 with gaps 91 separating them from inner wall 88. As a result, when the middle portion of linear fastener 100 is inserted into through-hole 86 and positioned on the back side of tongue portion 84, both ends of fastener 100 protrude from through-hole 86 to the front side of tongue portion 84. By tightening both ends of fastener 100, the worker can easily fasten linear member 70 to tongue portion 84.

[0044] Since the tongue portion 84 has a rectangular shape, the tongue portion 84 can be easily formed.

[0045] The tongue portion 84 has parallel portions 96 that are parallel to each other. As a result, when the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 are fastened by the fastener 100, the fastener 100 comes into contact with the two parallel portions 96. As a result, the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 can be easily fastened.

[0046] The parallel portion 96 is connected to the inner wall 88. This allows the fixing tool 100 to be positioned on the inner wall 88 and then clamp the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 together.

[0047] The length L of the tongue portion 84 in the protruding direction is shorter than the length H in the width direction perpendicular to the protruding direction (L<H). This makes it possible to prevent the tongue portion 84 from breaking.

[0048] 1 and 2 , the plate member 82 is provided on at least one of the mold clamping unit 14, the injection unit 16, the machine base 12, and the frame 64. This allows the linear member 70 to be fixed to the plate member 82 at any location in the injection molding machine 10.

[0049] That is, by providing the plate member 82 on the side surface of the mold clamping unit 14 or the injection unit 16, the linear member 70 can be easily fixed to the mold clamping unit 14 or the injection unit 16. Also, by providing the plate member 82 on the machine base 12, such as the first floor plate 26 or the second floor plate 28, the linear member 70 can be fixed to the machine base 12 without removing the members that make up the machine base 12. Furthermore, by providing the plate member 82 on the frame 64, the linear member 70 can be easily fixed to the frame 64 even when various members are provided around the frame 64.

[0050] The linear member 70 is a flexible wiring, and the wiring and the tongue portion 84 can be fixed together by the fixing device 100.

[0051] Next, modified examples (1st to 16th modified examples) of the fixing structure 80 of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 3B to 12B. Note that, among the components of each modified example, the same components as those of this embodiment (see Figures 1 to 3A) are given the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0052] 3B, in a first modified example, the tongue portion 84 has a trapezoidal shape. Therefore, the first modified example does not have the two parallel portions 96 (see FIG. 3A). In the first modified example, the effects of the present embodiment other than the two parallel portions 96 can be obtained.

[0053] 4A, in a second modified example, the tongue portion 84 has a triangular shape. Therefore, the second modified example does not have the two parallel portions 96 (see FIG. 3A). The second modified example also achieves the same effects as the present embodiment except for the two parallel portions 96.

[0054] [Third Modification] As shown in Fig. 4B , in the third modification, the tongue portion 84 has an arcuate shape. In the third modification, the side 92 opposite the side 90 and the two sides 94 are arcuate sides. Therefore, the third modification does not have the two parallel portions 96 (see Fig. 3A ). The third modification also achieves the same effects as the present embodiment except for the two parallel portions 96.

[0055] 5A, in a fourth modified example, the tongue portion 84 has a trapezoidal shape. However, in the fourth modified example, two parallel portions 96 are formed on the base end portion of the tongue portion 84. That is, the base end sides of the two sides 94 are formed into two parallel portions 96. The two parallel portions 96 are connected to one side 90. The fourth modified example also achieves the effects of this embodiment.

[0056] 5B , in the fifth modification, the tongue portion 84 has a triangular shape. However, in the fifth modification, two parallel portions 96 are formed on the base end portion of the tongue portion 84. That is, the base end sides of the two sides 94 are formed into two parallel portions 96. The two parallel portions 96 are connected to one side 90. The fifth modification also achieves the same effects as the present embodiment.

[0057] [Sixth Modification] As shown in Fig. 5C, in the sixth modification, the tongue portion 84 has an arcuate shape. Therefore, in the sixth modification, similar to the third modification (see Fig. 4B), the side 92 and the two sides 94 are arcuate sides. However, in the sixth modification, two parallel portions 96 are formed at the base end portion of the tongue portion 84. That is, the base end sides of the two sides 94 are formed into two parallel portions 96. The two parallel portions 96 are connected to one side 90. The sixth modification also achieves the effects of this embodiment.

[0058] [Seventh Modification] A seventh modification will be described with reference to FIGS. 6A and 6B.

[0059] In the seventh modified example, a pair of recesses 98 recessed in a direction toward each other are formed in the tongue portion 84. Specifically, a recess 98 is formed on each of two opposing sides 94. The pair of recesses 98 are formed on the base end sides of the two sides 94. In other words, the pair of recesses 98 are formed adjacent to one side 90. Each of the pair of recesses 98 is rectangular in shape. Each of the pair of recesses 98 constitutes a part of the parallel portion 96.

[0060] In the seventh modified example, the widthwise length H of the tongue portion 84 is the widthwise length of the portion of the tongue portion 84 where the recess 98 is not formed. Fig. 6A also illustrates a case where one linear member 70 is fixed to the tongue portion 84 by a fixing device 100. Fig. 6B illustrates a case where two linear members 70 are fixed to the tongue portion 84 by a fixing device 100.

[0061] In the seventh modification, when fixing linear member 70 to tongue portion 84, the worker moves the bent portion of fixing device 100 to the recessed portion 98 on the back side of tongue portion 84. As a result, both ends of fixing device 100 protrude from the recessed portion 98 of through-hole 86 to the front side of tongue portion 84. When the worker tightens both ends of fixing device 100, fixing device 100 fits into the pair of recessed portions 98, fixing tongue portion 84 and linear member 70 together.

[0062] The effects of this embodiment can also be obtained in the seventh modified example. Furthermore, in the seventh modified example, a pair of recesses 98 recessed toward each other are formed in the tongue portion 84. As a result, when the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 are fastened by the fastener 100, the fastener 100 fits into the recesses 98. As a result, the fastener 100 can fix the tongue portion 84 and the linear member 70 without shifting in the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84.

[0063] 7A, in the eighth modification, the tongue portion 84 has a trapezoidal shape. However, a pair of recesses 98 is formed on two sides 94 of the tongue portion 84. The pair of recesses 98 constitute two parallel portions 96. The eighth modification also achieves the same effect as the seventh modification (see FIGS. 6A and 6B).

[0064] 7B, in the ninth modification, the tongue portion 84 has a triangular shape. However, a pair of recesses 98 is formed on two sides 94 of the tongue portion 84. The pair of recesses 98 constitute two parallel portions 96. The ninth modification also achieves the same effect as the seventh modification (see FIGS. 6A and 6B).

[0065] 8A, in the tenth modification, the tongue portion 84 has an arcuate shape. However, a pair of recesses 98 are formed in the base end portions of the side edges of the tongue portion 84. The pair of recesses 98 constitute two parallel portions 96. The tenth modification also achieves the same effect as the seventh modification (see FIGS. 6A and 6B).

[0066] 8B , in the eleventh modification, the tongue portion 84 has a rectangular shape. However, a pair of recesses 98 is formed on two sides 94 of the tongue portion 84. Each of the pair of recesses 98 has a triangular shape. The eleventh modification also achieves the same effects as the seventh modification (see FIGS. 6A and 6B ).

More specifically, at least a portion of the tongue portion 84 is provided in a region 123 between the two bent portions 122, which is surrounded by a dashed line. The linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 on the front side of the flat plate portion 120, along the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84. Even in this case, the linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 without interfering with the two bent portions 122. The fourteenth modification also provides the same effects as the present embodiment.

[0072] 11B , in the fifteenth modification, the plate member 82 has four bent portions 122. The four bent portions 122 are bent at four sides of the flat plate portion 120 in directions perpendicular to the flat plate portion 120. At least a portion of the tongue portion 84 is provided between the four bent portions 122. More specifically, at least a portion of the tongue portion 84 is provided in a region 123 between the four bent portions 122, which is surrounded by a dashed line. The linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 on the front side of the flat plate portion 120, along the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84. Even in this case, the linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 without interfering with the four bent portions 122. The fifteenth modification also achieves the same effects as the present embodiment.

[0073] 12A and 12B , in the 16th modification, the plate member 82 is part of a box body 124 included in the injection molding machine 10. That is, the plate member 82 constitutes one surface of the box body 124. The through-hole 86 communicates with the closed space inside the box body 124. The linear member 70 is disposed on the tongue portion 84 on the front side of the box body 124, along the protruding direction of the tongue portion 84.
