Description

Automatic hair washing device

[0001] The present disclosure relates to an automatic hair washing device.

[0002] Conventionally, in hair salons and other beauty salons, there has been an automatic hair washing machine (hereinafter referred to as the "Publication 1 invention") described in Patent Document 1 below as an example of a device that automatically washes a person's hair without the intervention of a practitioner. In the Publication 1 invention, a cover that covers the person's head opens and closes using a hinge on the top side of the head. This structure does not cause any problems when the practitioner stands next to the automatic hair washing machine and handles the hair from the side of the person's head after the treatment with the automatic hair washing machine.

[0003] On the other hand, in recent years, there has been an increase in cases where the practitioner stands behind the automatic hair washing machine and handles the hair from the top of the head after treatment with the automatic hair washing machine (hereinafter referred to as "treatment from the back position"). However, if the cover opens and closes using the top of the head as a hinge, it will interfere with the practitioner. For this reason, automatic hair washing machines also exist with covers that open and close in the left and right directions.

[0004] Patent No. 6041973

[0005] However, when the cover opens and closes in the left-right direction, the cover crosses in front of the face of the person being treated, which can cause water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the cover to drip and wet the face of the person being treated.

[0006] The present disclosure has been proposed in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide an automatic hair washing device that can prevent water droplets from hitting the face of the person being treated when the hood section is opened or closed.

[0007] In order to achieve the above object, the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure comprises a self-supporting main body, a bowl on top of the main body on which the head of the person to be treated is placed, a hood covering the top of the bowl, and a rotating shaft connecting the bowl and the hood, wherein the rotating shaft is positioned to the side of the head of the person to be treated placed in the bowl, and is oriented from the front part of the main body on which the body of the person to be treated is placed to the rear part of the main body opposite the front part of the main body, and is inclined downward from the front part of the main body towards the rear part of the main body.

[0008] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that the hood portion has a front hood portion formed with a face opening for exposing the face of the person to be treated, and a rear hood portion connected to the front hood portion and covering the periphery of the head of the person to be treated, and the peripheral edge of the hood portion that overlaps the peripheral edge of the bowl portion is inclined downward from the front hood portion toward the rear hood portion.

[0009] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that the side of the hood rear surface opposite the rotating shaft portion relative to the hood rear surface corresponds to the curved surface of a hemisphere whose diameter is the width of the left and right sides of the hood portion.

[0010] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that a recessed portion in which the legs of the practitioner are placed is formed on the rear surface of the main body, which is opposite to the front surface of the main body on which the body of the person to be treated is placed.

[0011] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the hood portion, a plate protruding inward is formed on both lower ends of the hood front portion on the opposite side of the rotating shaft portion with respect to the face opening.

[0012] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that the plate extends toward the rear surface of the hood.

[0013] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure is characterized in that the extended tip of the plate is tapered.

[0014] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure includes a freestanding main body, a bowl on top of the main body on which the user's head is placed, a hood covering the top of the bowl, and a rotating shaft connecting the bowl and hood. The rotating shaft is positioned to the side of the user's head placed in the bowl, and faces the front portion of the main body, where the user's body is placed, toward the rear portion of the main body opposite the front portion of the main body, and is inclined downward from the front portion to the rear portion. Because the rotating shaft is inclined, the rotational trajectory of the hood is also inclined. Therefore, when the hood is opened or closed, the front portion of the hood crosses a position shifted rearward from the front of the user's face, making it difficult for water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the hood to hit the user's face, even if they do drip. Furthermore, because the hood is inclined, water droplets flow toward the rear portion of the hood as they travel along the inner surface and edges of the hood, making it difficult for them to hit the user's face.

Fig. 21 is a view of the automatic hair washing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure in a third right side open state, as viewed from the right side.

[0016] In the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure, the hood section has a front hood section formed with a face opening for exposing the face of the person to be treated, and a rear hood section connected to the front hood section and covering the periphery of the head of the person to be treated, and the peripheral edge of the hood section that overlaps the peripheral edge of the bowl section is inclined downward from the front hood section to the rear hood section. When water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the hood section run down the edge of the hood section, they flow toward the rear hood section, making it less likely for the water droplets to hit the face of the person to be treated.

[0017] However, if the rotational trajectory of the hood section is tilted due to the tilt of the rotating shaft section, the hood section will protrude rearward when opening, causing it to interfere with the practitioner in the back position or with the wall behind the automatic hair washing device. As described below, if a recess is formed on the rear surface of the main body section, the practitioner will move even closer to the automatic hair washing device, causing interference between the hood section and the practitioner. Therefore, in the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure, the side of the hood rear section opposite the rotating shaft from the hood rear section corresponds to the curved surface of a hemisphere whose diameter is the width of the hood section on both sides. Therefore, when the hood section opens, the side of the hood rear section opposite the rotating shaft does not protrude outward by the amount of the curved surface. Therefore, the hood section does not interfere with the practitioner when opening.

[0018] In the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure, a recessed portion for placing the legs of the practitioner is formed on the rear surface of the main body, which is opposite to the front surface of the main body where the body of the person to be treated is placed. When treating the person in the back position, the practitioner can get close to the person to be treated by placing their legs in the recessed portion.

[0019] The automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure has a plate formed at the periphery of the hood section, projecting inward, on both lower ends of the hood front section, opposite the rotating shaft section with respect to the face opening. Water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the hood section flow along the plate, allowing them to flow away from the face of the person being treated. Furthermore, when the hood section is closed and the automatic hair washing device is operating, water droplets inside the bowl section can be prevented from scattering through gaps in the hood front section.

[0020] In the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure, the plate extends toward the rear surface of the hood, so that water droplets flowing down the plate can be directed toward the rear surface of the hood.

[0021] In the automatic hair washing device according to the present disclosure, the extended tip of the plate is tapered. This allows water droplets flowing down the plate toward the rear of the hood and can be properly guided toward the tip. If the plate were too large, it could excessively obstruct water droplets in the bowl when the hood is closed and the automatic hair washing device is operating, hindering hair washing. However, because the plate is tapered, hair can be properly washed while preventing splashing through the gaps in the front of the hood.

[0022] An automatic hair washing device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will now be described with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 to 6 show an automatic hair washing device 1 according to this embodiment. In the following, the direction in which a person to be treated (not shown) lies down will be referred to as the front side (Front), the opposite side will be referred to as the back side (Back), the width direction when the front-to-back direction is the depth will be referred to as the right side and the left side (Left Side), and the height direction of the automatic hair washing device 1 will be referred to as the upper side and the lower side (Up, Down) (see Figure 1).

[0023] 1 to 6, the automatic hair washing device 1 has a main body 2 that stands on its own on an installation surface, a bowl 3 on top of the main body 2 where the head of the person to be treated is placed, a hood 9 that covers the top of the bowl 3, and a rotating shaft 25 that connects the bowl 3 and the hood 9. The hood 9 can be freely opened and closed, and when closed, the periphery 10 of the hood 9 overlaps the periphery of the bowl 3. A treatment space is formed inside the space surrounded by the hood 9 and the bowl 3.

[0024] A treatment table (not shown) is placed in front of the front side, or main body front surface 4, of the outer surface of the main body 2, and the person to be treated lies on the treatment table. A concave portion 7 is formed at the upper end of the front side, or main body front surface 4. The person to be treated passes through the concave portion 7. A recessed portion 8 is formed on the rear side, or main body rear surface 5, opposite the front side, or main body front surface 4. The recessed portion 8 is recessed from the rear side, or main body rear surface 5, toward the inside of the main body 2. The therapist (not shown) places their legs in the recessed portion 8 when standing (or sitting on a stool) and performing treatment in the back position. The upper side, or main body upper surface 6, of the outer surface of the main body 2, slopes downward toward the rear.

[0025] When the neck of the person to be treated is placed in the recessed portion 7 of the front surface 4 of the main body, the head of the person to be treated is placed in the bowl portion 3. A number of nozzles for spraying hot and cold water are attached to the inside of the bowl portion 3, and a drain outlet is also formed (neither of which are shown).

[0026] The rotating shaft 25 is disposed on the upper surface 6 of the main body to the left of the head of the person being treated, who is positioned in the bowl 3 (to the right as seen from the lying down person). The rotating shaft 25 is oriented in the front-to-back direction, which is the lengthwise direction of the person's face, and is inclined downward at an angle α with respect to the horizontal plane 26 from the front surface 4 of the main body to the rear surface 5 of the main body.

[0027] The hood portion 9 will now be described with reference to the drawings. The hood portion 9 is shown in Figures 7 to 12.

[0028] As shown in Figures 7 to 12, the hood portion 9 is transparent or translucent and has a hood front portion 11, which is the front side, and a hood rear portion 12, which is the rear side. The hood front portion 11 is in the shape of a semicircular plate, and is formed with a face opening 13 for exposing the face of the treatment recipient. The face opening 13 is also semicircular. The hood rear portion 12 is connected to a circumferential edge 14 of the hood front portion 11 and is dome-shaped to cover the periphery of the treatment recipient's head. The hood rear portion 12 has a hood right side portion 15, which is the right side, a hood left side portion 16, which is the left side, and a hood rear curved surface portion 17, which is the rear side.

[0029] Viewed from above, the hood rear curved surface portion 17 is asymmetrical (see FIG. 12 ). Specifically, the hood rear curved surface portion 17 has a hood left rear curved surface portion 30 on the left side, closer to the rotation shaft 25, and a hood right rear curved surface portion 29 on the right side, opposite the rotation shaft 25 with respect to the hood rear surface portion 12. The curvature of the hood right rear curved surface portion 29 is smaller than that of the hood left rear curved surface portion 30. Therefore, the hood right rear curved surface portion 29 is more gently curved than the hood left rear curved surface portion 30 and protrudes less outward from the hood portion 9 than the hood left rear curved surface portion 30. For example, if the width of the hood portion 9 in the left-right direction is "A," the hood right rear curved surface portion 29 corresponds to the curved surface of a hemisphere with a diameter of "A." Furthermore, if half of "A" is "a", the hood right rear curved surface portion 29 corresponds to a curved surface that is approximately 1 / 4 of a hemisphere with a radius of "a".

[0030] A hinge portion 18 is formed on the outer surface of the hood left-side portion 16. The hinge portion 18 is a pair of plate-like pieces 19 that protrude outward, and the plate-like pieces 19 face each other. A shaft hole 20 through which a shaft member is passed is formed in the plate-like pieces 19. When the hood portion 9 is attached to the main body portion 2, an axis 27 passing through both shaft holes 20 is inclined downward by an angle α with respect to a horizontal plane 26, similar to the rotation shaft portion 25 (see FIG. 5 ).

[0031] A pair of left and right plates 21 that protrude toward the treatment space inside are formed on the lower end of the hood front surface 11 of the peripheral edge 10 of the hood portion 9. The plates 21 include a rotation-shaft side plate 22 formed on the hood left surface 16 side, which is the hinge portion 18 side, of the lower end of the hood front surface 11, and a non-rotation-shaft side plate 23 formed on the hood right surface 15 side, which is the opposite side of the hinge portion 18 with respect to the face opening 13. The non-rotation-shaft side plate 23 extends from the outside of the hood front surface 11 to the inside toward the hood rear surface 12. A tip portion 24 at the end of the extension of the non-rotation-shaft side plate 23 is tapered into a triangular shape.

[0032] The peripheral edge 10 of the hood portion 9 slopes downward from the hood front portion 11 toward the hood rear portion 12. The peripheral edge 10, the axis 27 passing through the shaft holes 20 of the hinge portion 18, and the plates 22 and 23 are generally parallel to each other and slope downward (see FIG. 11 ).

[0033] The automatic hair washing device 1 is configured as described above. Next, the operation and effects of the automatic hair washing device 1 will be described with reference to the drawings. Figures 13 to 21 show how the hood part 9 in the automatic hair washing device 1 opens.

[0034] After treatment with the automatic hair washing device 1, as shown in Figures 13 to 15, the hood portion 9 opens toward the left (counterclockwise in the figures) around the left side as the rotation axis. As shown in Figures 16 to 18, because the rotation axis portion 25 is inclined, the rotation trajectory of the hood portion 9 is also inclined. Specifically, in a side view, the right side portion of the hood front portion 11 of the hood portion 9 (the portion where the non-rotation axis side plate 23 is formed) rotates in an arc in a direction gradually moving away from the vertical plane 28 passing through the position where this portion overlapped the periphery of the bowl portion 3 when the hood portion 9 was closed. Therefore, when the hood portion 9 is opened or closed, the hood front portion 11 crosses a position shifted rearward from the front of the face of the user, making it difficult for water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the hood portion 9 to hit the user's face, even if they drip. Furthermore, because the hood portion 9 is tilted, water droplets flow toward the hood rear portion 12 as they run along the inner surface and edges of the hood portion 9, making it less likely for them to hit the face of the person being treated. Similarly, because the peripheral edge 10 of the hood portion 9 is also tilted downward from the hood front portion 11 toward the hood rear portion 12, water droplets flow toward the hood rear portion 12, making it less likely for them to hit the face of the person being treated.

[0035] Furthermore, since the upper surface 6 of the main body is inclined downward toward the rear, and the peripheral edge 10 of the hood 9 is also inclined downward, a practitioner performing treatment in the back position can take a posture that is easy to perform treatment. That is, at the rear of the automatic hair washing device 1, the upper surface 6 of the main body is lowered toward the practitioner's side, so the practitioner can place their arms on the peripheral edge of the bowl 3 while performing treatment.

[0036] 19 to 21 , when the hood portion 9 is opened, water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the hood portion 9 flow along the non-rotating-shaft side plate 23, and can be directed away from the face of the person being treated. On the other hand, when the hood portion 9 is closed and the automatic hair washing device 1 is operating, both plates 22, 23 are positioned between the bowl portion 3 and the hood portion 9 (see FIG. 6 ), which prevents water droplets from splashing inside the bowl portion 3 through gaps in the hood front portion 11.

[0037] In particular, the non-rotating-shaft side plate 23 is formed on the right side of the lower end of the hood front surface 11, opposite the rotating-shaft part 25 with respect to the face opening 13, and extends toward the hood rear surface 12, and the tip 24 at the end of the extension of the non-rotating-shaft side plate 23 is tapered into a triangular shape, so that water droplets flowing along the non-rotating-shaft side plate 23 can be directed toward the hood rear surface 12 and can also be properly guided toward the tip 24. Furthermore, because the non-rotating-shaft side plate 23 is tapered, it is possible to properly wash hair while preventing water from splashing through gaps in the hood front surface 11.

[0038] A recess 8 is formed on the rear surface 5 of the main body of the automatic hair washing device 1, and when the practitioner is in the back position, the practitioner places his / her legs in the recess 8. This allows the practitioner to get closer to the person being treated. The practitioner can also stand on the right side of the main body 2 to treat the person's head.

[0039] As shown in Figure 21, when the hood portion 9 is fully open, the peripheral edge 10 of the hood rear portion 12 only slightly protrudes rearward beyond the main body rear portion 5 of the main body 2. This prevents the hood portion 9 from interfering with a practitioner performing hair washing in the back position when it opens and closes, and allows the automatic hair washing device 1 to be installed as close to a wall as possible. In other words, because the hood right rear curved surface 29 of the hood rear portion 12 has a predetermined curve, the degree to which the hood portion 9 protrudes outward is such that the hood portion 9 does not come into contact with a practitioner performing hair washing in the back position or with the wall behind the automatic hair washing device. Furthermore, the angle α at which the rotation shaft 25 is tilted is such that the hood portion 9 does not come into contact with a practitioner performing hair washing in the back position or with the wall behind the automatic hair washing device when the automatic hair washing device 1 is installed against a wall and the hood portion 9 is fully open. Furthermore, the greater the accuracy α, the greater the degree to which the hood front portion 11 shifts backward from the front of the patient's face when the hood portion 9 is opened or closed, which will result in interference between the hood portion 9 and the practitioner or the wall on the rotation trajectory of the hood portion 9.

[0040] In another embodiment of the present disclosure, the rotating shaft portion is inclined, but the periphery of the hood portion is horizontal. In another embodiment, the shape of the hood portion is symmetrical. In another embodiment, no recess is formed in the main body portion. In another embodiment, the shape of the plate is arbitrary. In another embodiment, the tip of the plate is not tapered. In another embodiment, the hood portion does not have a plate. In another embodiment, the hood portion has only a non-rotating shaft side plate and does not have a rotating shaft side plate. In another embodiment, the tip of the rotating shaft side plate of the hood portion is tapered. In another embodiment, the rotating shaft portion is formed on the right side.

[0041] Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described in detail above, the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and various design modifications can be made to the present disclosure without departing from the scope of the claims.
