Description

Cover stands and display devices

[0001] The present invention relates to a cover stand that can be converted into a protective cover for protecting a main body and a stand for mounting, and a display device having the same.

[0002] As the information society develops, the demand for display devices is also increasing in various forms, and in response to this, recent display devices include liquid crystal displays (LCDs), field emission displays (FEDs), plasma display panels (PDPs), and electroluminescence devices.

[0003] The liquid crystal panel of the liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal layer and a TFT substrate and a color filter substrate facing each other with the liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween, and can display an image using light provided from a backlight unit.

[0004] As an example of an electroluminescent device (ELD), an active-matrix type organic light-emitting display device is commercially available. Because OLED displays are self-luminous, they do not require a backlight and offer advantages over liquid crystal displays (LCDs) in terms of response speed, viewing angle, and other factors. Therefore, they are attracting attention as next-generation displays.

[0005] Recently, there's a growing preference for display devices that are freely movable, rather than fixed. There's a growing need to improve work efficiency by allowing the display device to be moved freely within the office. There's also a growing need for display devices that offer both portability and convenient stand-alone functionality for outdoor use, such as camping.

[0006] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cover stand that can be converted into a protective cover for protecting a main body and a stand for mounting, and a display device having the same.

[0048] Accordingly, the display device (10) described in the present invention can perform various user-friendly functions, for example, since various applications can be freely added or deleted on a general-purpose OS kernel. More specifically, the display device (10) can be, for example, a network TV, HBBTV, smart TV, etc., and in some cases, can also be applied to a smartphone.

[0049] Figure 1 is a front perspective view showing a mounting state of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0050] The display device (10) includes a display (151) that outputs an image on the front, and a control unit that drives the display (151), an audio output unit that outputs sound, and a power supply unit that supplies power to the display (151) and the control unit can be mounted inside a case in the shape of a rectangular solid with a predetermined thickness.

[0051] Recently, a display device (10) may be included that includes a rechargeable battery for wireless use. Data can be transmitted and received via wireless communication, and content and data can be transmitted and received via broadcast reception or a network.

[0052] The wireless type can perform short-range wireless communication with other electronic devices located nearby. The display device (10) can be connected to a network with other electronic devices according to communication standards such as Bluetooth, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), IrDA (Infrared Data Association), UWB (Ultra Wideband), ZigBee, and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance), for example.

[0053] In addition to wireless communication, it may include a USB terminal, CVBS (Composite Video Banking Sync) terminal, component terminal, S-video terminal (analog), DVI (Digital Visual Interface) terminal, HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) terminal, RGB terminal, D-SUB terminal, etc. for transmitting and receiving data via wire.

[0054] You can access a specific web page through the connected network or another network linked to the connected network. In other words, you can access a specific web page through the network and transmit or receive data to or from the server. Additionally, you can receive content or data provided by content providers or network operators.

[0055] That is, content such as movies, advertisements, games, VOD, and broadcast signals, as well as related information, can be received from content providers or network providers via the network. Furthermore, firmware update information and update files provided by network operators can be received. Furthermore, data can be transmitted to the Internet, content providers, or network operators.

[0056] The display (151) can generate a driving signal by converting a video signal, data signal, OSD signal, control signal, etc. processed by the control unit or a video signal, data signal, control signal, etc. received from the interface unit. The display (151) can include a display panel having a plurality of pixels.

[0057] The plurality of pixels provided on the display panel may have RGB sub-pixels. Alternatively, the plurality of pixels provided on the display panel may have RGBW sub-pixels. The display (151) may convert image signals, data signals, OSD signals, control signals, etc. processed by the control unit to generate driving signals for the plurality of pixels.

[0058] The display (151) can be a PDP (Plasma Display Panel), an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), a flexible display, etc., and may also be a 3D display. The 3D display (151) can be divided into a glasses-free type and a glasses type.

[0059] The display device (10) (10) includes a display (151) that occupies most of the front surface area and a case that covers the rear side of the display (151) and packages the display (151).

[0060] Recently, display devices (10)(10) can utilize flexible displays (151) such as LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) or OLEDs (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) to implement curved screens rather than flat ones.

[0061] Previously, LCDs were primarily used because they were unable to emit light on their own, so they relied on backlight units for light. Backlight units are devices that evenly distribute light from a light source to the liquid crystal display (LCD) located at the front. As backlight units have become thinner, thinner LCDs have become possible. However, it has been difficult to implement backlight units using flexible materials, and when the backlight unit is bent, it becomes difficult to supply light evenly to the LCD, causing screen brightness to fluctuate.

[0062] On the other hand, in the case of LEDs or OLEDs, since each element that forms a pixel emits light on its own, it is possible to implement a curved display without using a backlight unit. In addition, since each element emits light on its own, even if the positional relationship with neighboring elements changes, its own brightness is not affected, so a curved display (151) can be implemented using LEDs or OLEDs.

[0063] OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diodes) panels made their debut in the mid-2010s and are rapidly replacing LCDs in the small- and medium-sized display market. OLEDs utilize the self-luminous phenomenon, where fluorescent organic compounds emit light when current flows through them. Their image quality response speed is faster than that of LCDs, resulting in virtually no afterimages when displaying video.

[0064] OLED uses three types of fluorescent organic compounds with self-luminous functions: red, green, and blue. It is a luminescent display product that utilizes the phenomenon in which electrons injected from the cathode and anode and positively charged particles combine within the organic material to emit light on their own, so there is no need for a backlight (backlight device) that reduces color.

[0065] LED (Light Emitting Diode) panels are a technology that uses one LED element as one pixel, and since the size of the LED element can be reduced compared to the past, a flexible display (151) can be implemented. Devices previously called LED TVs used LEDs as a light source for a backlight unit that supplied light to an LCD, and the LEDs themselves did not form a screen.

[0066] A display may include a plurality of pixels (R, G, B). The plurality of pixels (R, G, B) may be formed in each area where a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines intersect. The plurality of pixels (R, G, B) may be arranged or arranged in a matrix form.

[0067] For example, a plurality of pixels (R, G, B) may include a red (Red, hereinafter referred to as 'R') sub-pixel, a green (Green, 'G') sub-pixel, and a blue (Blue, 'B') sub-pixel. The plurality of pixels (R, G, B) may further include a white (White, hereinafter referred to as 'W') sub-pixel.

[0068] The side of the display (151) that displays an image may be referred to as the front or front. When the display (151) displays an image, the side that cannot be observed may be referred to as the rear or back. Meanwhile, the display (151) may be configured as a touch screen and may be used as an input device in addition to an output device.

[0069] The control unit may include at least one processor, and may control the overall operation of the display device (10)(10) using the processor included therein. Here, the processor may be a general processor such as a central processing unit (CPU). Of course, the processor may be a dedicated device such as an ASIC or another hardware-based processor.

[0070] The control unit can demultiplex a stream input through a tuner unit, a demodulator unit, an external device interface unit (112), or a network interface unit (113), or process demultiplexed signals to generate and output signals for video or audio output.

[0071] The image signal processed by the control unit can be input to the display (151) and displayed as an image corresponding to the image signal. In addition, the image signal processed by the control unit can be input to an external output device through the external device interface unit.

[0072] The voice signal processed by the control unit can be output as sound to the audio output unit. Additionally, the voice signal processed by the control unit can be input to an external output device through the external device interface unit.

[0073] In addition, the control unit can control the display device (10)(10) by a user command input through the user input interface unit or an internal program. Meanwhile, the control unit can control the display (151) to display an image. At this time, the image displayed on the display (151) may be a still image or a moving image, and may be a 2D image or a 3D image.

[0074] Meanwhile, the control unit can cause a predetermined 2D object to be displayed within an image displayed on the display (151). For example, the object can be at least one of a connected web screen (newspaper, magazine, etc.), EPG (Electronic Program Guide), various menus, widgets, icons, still images, videos, and text.

[0075] The display device (10) of the present invention may include a stand that can be folded and unfolded for easy movement, allowing it to be moved and freely installed in a portable form. In the case of a portable display device (10), there is a risk of damage during movement, so a cover is required to prevent damage.

[0076] The present invention can include a cover stand (200) that can protect the body (100) of the display device (10) when moving and can serve as a stand when the display device (10) is in use so as to satisfy both the needs for mobility and convenience of placement of the portable display device (10).

[0077] FIG. 2 is a front perspective view showing a state in which a folio cover (220) of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention is unfolded, and FIG. 3 is a front perspective view showing a state in which a display device (10) is protected by positioning a folio cover (220) of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention on the front of a display (151).

[0078] The cover stand (200) of the present invention may include a rear cover (210) fixed to the back surface (102) of the main body (100) of the display device (10) and a folio cover (220) positioned in a first direction (D1) from the rear cover (210) and capable of being folded in multiple stages.

[0079] The folio cover (220) may include a plurality of folios (plates) and a folding member (227) connecting the folios. The folding member (227) may be formed of a hinge or a flexible material. For example, the folio cover (220) may be formed by arranging a plurality of rigid plates and attaching a flexible film to both sides to form the folding member (227).

[0080] The folio cover (220) of the present invention not only protects the exterior of the main body (100), but can also function as a stand that can be folded to place the display device (10) on the floor as shown in FIG. 1.

[0081] In addition, the folio cover (220) can be converted into a protective cover that covers the front of the main body (100) where the display (151) is positioned, as shown in Fig. 3. The state of the cover stand (200) as shown in Fig. 1 is called a standing state, and the state of the cover stand (200) as shown in Fig. 3 is called a protective state.

[0082] The folio cover (220) may include a first folio (221), a second folio (222), and a third folio (223).

[0083] The first folio (221) is coupled to the first direction (D1) of the rear cover (210) and is positioned in the first direction (D1) of the main body in the protective state of Fig. 3. Since the stand block (240) is positioned in the first direction (D1) of the main body, the first folio (221) is positioned to contact the first direction (D1) side of the stand block (240) in the first state.

[0084] The second folio is in contact with the mounting surface in the mounting state of FIG. 1, and the third folio (223) supports the back surface of the main body (100) of the display device (10) in the mounting state of FIG. 1. The combination cover (211) of the rear cover (210), the second folio (222), and the third folio (223) are arranged to form a triangle, and this triangular structure supports the main body (100) of the display device (10) to be erected at a predetermined angle with respect to the mounting surface.

[0085] Since the first folio (221) is positioned in the first direction (D1) of the main body (100) in a protective state, the length in the first direction (D1) may have a length corresponding to the thickness of the main body (100).

[0086] In the first direction (D1), the length of the third folio (223) may be longer than that of the second folio (222) to support the long display device (10) in the longitudinal direction of the display device (10). The second folio (222) and the third folio (223) cover the display (151) located on the front of the main body (100) as shown in FIG. 3 in a protective state.

[0087] FIG. 4 is a drawing illustrating one embodiment of a horizontal mounting state of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The display device (10) of the present invention may include one of the mounting states, either a vertical mounting state in which the longitudinal direction of the main body (100) is arranged in an up-and-down direction as in FIG. 1, or a horizontal mounting state in which the longitudinal direction of the main body (100) is arranged in a horizontal direction as in FIG. 4.

[0088] In order to switch from the vertical mounting state of Fig. 1 to the horizontal mounting state as shown in Fig. 4, the main body (100) and the rear cover (210) can be rotatably coupled. Fig. 5 is a rear perspective view showing a display device (10) in a protective state according to one embodiment of the present invention, and is a drawing showing the rear cover of the cover stand (200) of the present invention.

[0089] The rear cover (210) may include a combination cover (211) that is coupled to the back surface of the main body (100) and a folding cover (212) that is positioned in a second direction (D2) opposite to the first direction (D1) of the combination cover (211). The folding cover (212) is folded toward the back surface so as to be coupled with the third folio (223) of the folio cover (220) when the cover stand (200) is switched to a stationary state, and in a protective state, it is flush with the combination cover (211) and adheres to the back surface of the main body (100).

[0090] In order to protect the side surface of the main body (100) in the protection state, the third folio (223) may further include a side folio (226) extending in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction (D1). The side folio (226) may cover the side surface of the main body (100) in the protection state, as illustrated in FIG. 5.

[0091] The folding cover (212) is detachable by being combined with a magnet located on the back of the main body (100) and a magnet located on the third folio (223). The combined cover (211) substantially supports the main body (100) and is a member that determines the height of the main body (100), and the length of the combined cover (211) may be longer than that of the folding cover (212).

[0092] The joining cover (211) may have a predetermined thickness to ensure rigidity so as to support the weight of the main body (100). Since the folding cover (212) includes a magnet, if it includes a metal material, the folding cover (212) can be attached to the joining cover (211), so the joining cover (211) can be manufactured as an injection molded product.

[0093] The rear cover (210) is fixed to the back surface of the main body (100) and can be rotatably coupled through a swivel hinge (230) as shown in FIG. 3.

[0094] FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a swivel hinge (230) of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the front.

[0095] The swivel hinge (230) includes a circular swivel plate (231) and may include a rotation rib (232) protruding from the front of the swivel plate (231) to be inserted into a rotation hole (213) formed in the rear cover (210). The rotation rib (232) is configured in a circular shape like the rotation hole (213), so that the rotation rib (232) can rotate 360° within the rotation hole (213).

[0096] In order to prevent the display device (10) from being rotated unintentionally, a bearing bush (233) positioned between the rotation rib (232) and the rotation hole (213) may be further included. The bearing bush (233) is a ring-shaped member with high frictional force that increases the frictional force between the rotation hole (213) and the rotation rib (232). The bearing bush (233) prevents the swivel hinge (230) from rotating unless a user intentionally applies force.

[0097] FIG. 8 is a rear view illustrating a method of combining a main body (100) and a cover stand (200) of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The rear surface of the main body (100) of the display device (10) may include four standardized holes for fastening a bracket for mounting the display device (10). The holes arranged at standardized intervals on the rear surface of the main body (100) for mounting are called VESA (Video Electronics Standard Association) holes (103).

[0098] The cover stand (200) can be fastened to the main body (100) by a screw inserted into the VESA hole (103) through the swivel plate (231). The swivel hinge (230) is fixed to the back of the main body (100) and can rotate together with the main body (100).

[0099] The rear surface perimeter of the rotation hole (213) formed in the rear cover (210) is in contact with the outer surface of the swivel plate (231). The rear cover (210) is located between the swivel plate (231) and the rear surface of the main body (100), and when the main body (100) and the swivel hinge (230) rotate, the main body (100) does not come off from the rear cover (210).

[0100] Since the four holes of VESA are located at the same distance from the center of the main body (100) of the display device (10), the rotation center (x1) of the swivel hinge (230) attached to VESA is located at the center of the display device (10), and as shown in FIG. 4, even if the main body (100) is rotated horizontally, it can be arranged in a state of left-right symmetry.

[0101] A swivel deco (235) that is coupled to the back surface of the swivel plate (231) may be further included to conceal the screw hole (231s) exposed to the swivel plate (231). The swivel deco (235) may be fixed to the swivel plate (231) by inserting a hook (235h) protruding forward into a latch groove (231g) formed in the swivel plate (231).

[0102] The cover stand (200) of the present invention may include a stand block (240) positioned in the first direction (D1) of the main body (100) for support in a standing state, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 4. The stand block (240) is made of an injection molded material and has a thickness corresponding to the thickness of the main body (100), so that it may have a predetermined rigidity.

[0103] When the display device (10) is rotated around the swivel hinge (230) to change from a vertically mounted state to a horizontally mounted state, the position that is farthest from the center (x1) of the swivel hinge (230) is the corner (101) of the body (100) located diagonally from the center of the swivel hinge (230). If the surface of the stand block (240) in the second direction (D2), which is opposite to the first direction (D1), has a surface that is parallel to the end of the body (100) in the first direction (D1) in the vertically mounted state, interference may occur with the corner (101) of the body (100). To prevent this, the surface of the stand block (240) in the second direction (D2) may include a concave portion (241) that is recessed.

[0104] The concave portion (241) can be positioned in the first direction (D1) relative to a curve (b) whose radius of rotation is the distance (a) from the center of rotation (x1) of the swivel hinge (230) to the diagonal corner so that the diagonal corner of the main body (100) does not touch it when rotating.

[0105] By making it more concave than the curve (b) having the same distance from the center of rotation (x1), more space can be secured between the main body (100) and the concave portion (241) in a mounted state. A space can be provided between the main body (100) and the concave portion (241) to place a remote control or streaming adapter, etc.

[0106] As illustrated in Fig. 2, the cover stand (200) of the present invention is long in the first direction (D1), which makes it inconvenient to manufacture, store, and assemble. Therefore, the folio cover (220) may be provided so that it can be detachably attached to the rear cover (210).

[0107] FIG. 9 is a drawing illustrating a method of fastening a rear cover (210) and a folio cover (220) of a display device (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention. The folio cover (220) may further include a folio magnet (225) that protrudes in a second direction (D2) from an end of a first folio (221) and is inserted between the rear cover (210) and a stand block (240).

[0108] A magnet (245) may also be placed on the back surface of the stand block (240) so that the folio magnet (225) and the magnet (245) of the stand block (240) can be magnetically coupled. However, the magnetic force of the magnet is weak in limiting slippage in the direction of the plane where the gap between the magnets does not change.

[0109] By arranging the poles of the folio magnet (225) and the magnet (245) of the stand block (240) in the first direction (D1), it is possible to prevent the folio cover (220) from being easily separated by a force pulling in the first direction (D1).

[0110] Figures 10 to 12 are drawings illustrating a method for adjusting the angle of a display device (10) in a mounting state according to one embodiment of the present invention. The cover stand (200) of the present invention can adjust the mounting angle. The gap between the rear cover (210) and the third folio (223) can be adjusted by changing the area of the folio cover (220) that touches the mounting surface.

[0111] Fig. 10 is a drawing of the state of Fig. 4 viewed from the back side. After all of the folio covers (220) are folded toward the back side of the main body (100), only the third folio (223) can be folded upwards to be connected to the folding cover (212) of the rear cover (210).

[0112] At this time, the main body (100) can be tilted at a first angle (α) in the rear direction. This is an appropriate angle when placed in a low position. However, when the placement position is raised, it is preferable to place it at an angle greater than the first angle (α).

[0113] As shown in Fig. 11, when the first folio (221) is placed so as to be in contact with the side surface of the stand block (240) in the first direction (D1), the front-back length of the folio cover (220) in contact with the mounting surface becomes shorter by twice the length of the first folio (221) in the first direction (D1). Accordingly, as the gap between the lower end of the coupling cover (211) and the lower end of the third folio (223) becomes narrower, the mounting angle of the main body (100) can become larger to the second angle (β).

[0114] When the display device (10) is placed on a table or viewed from a distance, it is preferable that the main body (100) be erected in a nearly vertical plane. Accordingly, the present invention can further narrow the distance between the lower end of the combination cover (211) and the lower end of the third folio (223) by adding a fourth folio (224) between the first folio (221) and the second folio (222), as shown in FIG. 12.

[0115] In the state of FIG. 11, the first folio (221) and the fourth folio (224) are arranged to overlap each other in the vertical direction, but referring to FIG. 12, the fourth folio (224) can be spread out to be arranged parallel to the first folio (221) in the front-back direction, and the fourth folio (224) can be arranged to face upward.

[0116] The distance between the bottom of the combination cover (211) and the bottom of the third folio (223) is shortened by twice the length of the first direction (D1) of the fourth folio (224) compared to the state of FIG. 11, and the main body (100) can be placed at a third angle (θ).

[0117] The distance between the bottom of the combination cover (211) and the bottom of the third folio (223) is shortened, but the second folio (222) is also positioned in the front of the main body (100), so that the front-back length of the folio cover (220) positioned on the mounting surface is longer than the distance between the bottom of the combination cover (211) and the bottom of the third folio (223), so that it can be mounted stably.

[0118] FIG. 13 is a rear view illustrating a method of combining a main body (100) and a cover stand (200) of a display device (10) according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0119] The display device (10) of the present embodiment differs from the aforementioned embodiment in the position of the main body (100) to which the swivel hinge (230) of the cover stand (200) is fastened. Referring to Fig. 13, the swivel hinge (230) can be fastened using only one pair (103a) located in the first direction (D1) among the four VESA holes (103) located on the back surface of the main body (100).

[0120] The swivel hinge (230) of the embodiment of FIG. 8 described above is connected to four VESA holes (103), and the center of rotation of the swivel hinge (230) is the center of the main body (100). However, when viewed with respect to the display device (10) in which the cover stand (200) is coupled by the stand block (240), it is tilted in the second direction (D2).

[0121] In the embodiment of Fig. 13, the swivel hinge (230) has a rotation center (x2) positioned between a pair of VESAs positioned in the first direction (D1), and thus is positioned further in the first direction (D1) than the rotation center (x1) of the embodiment of Fig. 8. Depending on the position of the swivel hinge (230), the height of the main body (100) in a horizontally mounted state may vary.

[0122] Fig. 14 is a front view illustrating a horizontal mounting state of one embodiment of the display device (10) of the present invention and another embodiment. (a) is a drawing illustrating a horizontal mounting state of the display device (10) according to the embodiment of Fig. 8, and (b) is a drawing illustrating a horizontal mounting state of the display device (10) according to the embodiment of Fig. 13.

[0123] In one embodiment of Fig. 8 shown in (a), the height (h1) of the main body (100) in the horizontally mounted state is higher than the height (h2) of the main body (100) in the horizontally mounted state in another embodiment of Fig. 13 shown in (b). Since the rotation center (x2) of the swivel hinge (230) in the embodiment of Fig. 13 is positioned more toward the first direction (D1) than the rotation center (x1) of the swivel hinge (230) in the embodiment of Fig. 8, the height of the main body (100) in the horizontally mounted state is lower (h2).

[0124] However, the center of the swivel hinge (230) of the present embodiment is different from the center of the main body (100), and as shown in (b) of FIG. 14, the left and right lengths of the main body (100) are different based on the rear cover (210). That is, an asymmetrical structure is formed, and a torque that rotates in the direction of the longer length may be generated.

[0125] In order for the main body (100) to stably maintain a horizontal state in a horizontally placed state, the swivel hinge (230) may be provided with a stopper structure to support the horizontally placed state.

[0126] Fig. 15 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a display device (10) according to another embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 16 is a drawing illustrating a swivel hinge (230) and a rotation hole (213) of a display device (10) according to another embodiment of the present invention. The swivel hinge (230) of the present embodiment is fastened with two VESA holes (103), and thus may include only a pair of screw holes (231s).

[0127] The rotation hole (213) formed in the rear cover (210) of the present embodiment may include a first circular opening (2131) in the center and a second opening (2132) positioned outside the first opening (2131) and extended at a predetermined angle. The second openings (2132) of the present embodiment may include a pair and may include an angle limiting portion (2135) protruding between the second openings (2132).

[0128] Since the rotation hole (213) includes an arch-shaped second opening (2132), the rotation rib (232) inserted into the rotation hole (213) on the front of the swivel plate (231) also has a different shape from the embodiment of FIG. 7. Referring to FIG. 16, it may include a circular center rib (2321) corresponding to the shape of the first opening (2131) and a stopper rib (2322) protruding outward from the center rib (2321) and moving in an arc in the second opening (2132).

[0129] Since there are two second openings (2132), the stopper ribs (2322) can also include a pair, and a pair of screw holes can be located in the stopper ribs (2322) to increase the rigidity of the stopper ribs (2322).

[0130] Figure 16 (a) illustrates the rotary rib (232) and the rotary hole (213) in a vertically mounted state, and Figure 16 (b) illustrates the rotary rib (232) and the rotary hole (213) in a horizontally mounted state. As the rotary rib (232) rotates within the rotary hole (213), the position of the stopper rib (2322) can move from one side of the second opening (2132) to the other side.

[0131] In the vertical mounting state, the left and right lengths of the main body (100) are equal from the center of rotation of the swivel hinge (230), so that the main body (100) can be mounted stably. However, the main body (100) may rotate unintentionally due to external force or a slightly inclined mounting surface. To prevent this, the rotating rib (232) may include a catch protrusion protruding outward from the center rib (2321).

[0132] As illustrated in Fig. 16(a), the catch is caught on the other side of the second opening while the stopper rib (2322) is in contact with one side of the second opening. The swivel hinge (230) is restricted from rotating clockwise in the drawing when the stopper rib (2322) is in contact with one side of the second opening (2132), and the counterclockwise rotation is restricted by the catch.

[0133] However, since the size of the stumbling block is small, when an external force is applied, the stumbling state of the stumbling block and the angle limiting portion (2135) is released, and the state can be changed to that of Fig. 16(b). The stopper rib (2322) rotates 90° to come into contact with the other side of the second opening.

[0134] As shown in (b) of Fig. 14, in a horizontally mounted state, the main body (100) is longer on one side, and thus a force is generated to rotate in one direction. The angle limiting portion (2135) prevents the stopper rib (2322) from further rotating counterclockwise in the drawing, so that the main body (100) can stably maintain a horizontal state as shown in (b) of Fig. 14. Clockwise rotation is possible only when an external force is applied due to the weight of the main body (100).

[0135] As described above, the display device (10) of the present invention includes a cover stand (200) that is a protective cover that can protect the display device (10) when carried and at the same time can hold the display device (10).

[0136] The cover stand (200) of the present invention can be stably mounted even when the mounting direction of the main body (100) is changed.

[0137] The cover stand (200) of the present invention can adjust the angle at which the main body (100) is placed, so that it can be placed at an angle that is good for viewing depending on the height of the placement surface.

[0138] The above detailed description should not be construed as limiting in any respect and should be considered illustrative only. The scope of the present invention should be determined by a reasonable interpretation of the appended claims, and all modifications within the equivalent scope of the present invention are intended to be included within the scope of the present invention.
