AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The introduction of sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD) in 5G NR systems poses challenges for UE collision handling due to the gNB's full-duplex capabilities, particularly in managing UL-DL collisions at the UE-side, which are not adequately addressed by existing TDD specifications.

Method used

A first apparatus determines that a first transmission collides with a control channel monitoring occasion in a SBFD slot and prioritizes the monitoring occasion over the transmission based on conditions such as time domain distance or time location, allowing for effective control channel monitoring.

Benefits of technology

This approach enables efficient control channel monitoring by prioritizing occasions over transmissions, ensuring seamless operation in SBFD environments by minimizing conflicts between UL transmissions and PDCCH monitoring.

Abstract

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium of control channel monitoring in a sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD). In a method, a first apparatus determines that a first transmission from the first apparatus collides with a control channel monitoring occasion in a first SBFD slot. A second transmission from the first apparatus or to the first apparatus in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion. The first apparatus determines to prioritize the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied. The condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot.

Description

CONTROL CHANNEL MONITORING IN SUB-BAND NON_OVERLAPPING FULL DUPLEX (SBFD)

[0001] FIELDS

[0002] Various example embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to the field of telecommunication and in particular, to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium of control channel monitoring in sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD) .BACKGROUND

[0003] In some communication systems such as fifth generation (5G) new radio (NR) system, various duplexing modes are supported. For example, frequency division duplexing (FDD) for paired bands and time division duplexing (TDD) for unpaired bands are supported. In TDD, the time domain resource is split between downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) . Allocation of a limited time duration for the uplink in TDD may result in reduced coverage, increased latency, and reduced capacity. To address these issues, an evolution of duplexing operation has been proposed. In some mechanism, sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD) such as simultaneous DL and UL transmission on different physical resource blocks (PRBs) or sub-bands within an unpaired wideband NR cell is proposed. The fact that the network has full-duplex capabilities (i.e. can transmit and receive at the same time) , while the the UE remains half-duplex, introduces new challenges in terms of UL-DL collision handling at the UE-side, as compared to existing UE operation in legacy TDD bands.SUMMARY

[0044] The term “terminal device” refers to any end device that may be capable of wireless communication. By way of example rather than limitation, a terminal device may also be referred to as a communication device, user equipment (UE) , a Subscriber Station (SS) , a Portable Subscriber Station, a Mobile Station (MS) , or an Access Terminal (AT) . The terminal device may include, but not limited to, a mobile phone, a cellular phone, a smart phone, voice over IP (VoIP) phones, wireless local loop phones, a tablet, a wearable terminal device, a personal digital assistant (PDA) , portable computers, desktop computer, image capture terminal devices such as digital cameras, gaming terminal devices, music storage and playback appliances, vehicle-mounted wireless terminal devices, wireless endpoints, mobile stations, laptop-embedded equipment (LEE) , laptop-mounted equipment (LME) , USB dongles, smart devices, wireless customer-premises equipment (CPE) , an Internet of Things (IoT) device, a watch or other wearable, a head-mounted display (HMD) , a vehicle, a drone, a medical device and applications (e.g., remote surgery) , an industrial device and applications (e.g., a robot and / or other wireless devices operating in an industrial and / or an automated processing chain contexts) , a consumer electronics device, a device operating on commercial and / or industrial wireless networks, and the like. The terminal device may also correspond to a Mobile Termination (MT) part of an IAB node (e.g., a relay node) . In the following description, the terms “terminal device” , “communication device” , “terminal” , “user equipment” and “UE” may be used interchangeably.

[0045] As used herein, the term “resource, ” “transmission resource, ” “resource block, ” “physical resource block” (PRB) , “uplink resource, ” or “downlink resource” may refer to any resource for performing a communication, for example, a communication between a terminal device and a network device, such as a resource in time domain, a resource in frequency domain, a resource in space domain, a resource in code domain, or any other resource enabling a communication, and the like. In the following, unless explicitly stated, a resource in both frequency domain and time domain will be used as an example of a transmission resource for describing some example embodiments of the present disclosure. It is noted that example embodiments of the present disclosure are equally applicable to other resources in other domains.

[0046] As briefly mentioned above, various duplexing modes such as FDD and TDD  are supported in the communication networks. In TDD, the time domain resource is split between downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) . Allocation of a limited time duration for the uplink in TDD may result in reduced coverage, increased latency, and reduced capacity. To address these challenges, simultaneous DL and UL transmission on different PRBs or sub-bands within an unpaired wideband NR cell is proposed. As used herein, the set of PRBs assigned to a specific link direction is known as subband, and this new way of duplexing is referred to as “SBFD” . As used herein, the term “SBFD” may also be referred to as cross division duplexing (xDD) or flexible division duplexing (FDU) .

[0047] Principle and implementations of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS. 1-10. FIG. 1 illustrates an example communication environment 100 in which example embodiments of the present disclosure can be implemented. In the communication environment 100, a plurality of communication apparatuses, including a first apparatus 110, a second apparatus 120 can communicate with each other. In some example embodiments, there may be additional apparatuses such as a third apparatus 130 in the communication environment. The third apparatus 130 may communicate with the second apparatus 120.

[0048] The communication environment 100 may support various of duplexing modes, such as FDD and TDD. In some example embodiments, SBFD may be supported by the first apparatus 110, the second apparatus 120 and the third apparatus 130.

[0049] In some example embodiments, if the first apparatus 110 and the third apparatus 130 are terminal devices and the second apparatus 120 is a network device serving the terminal devices, a link from the second apparatus 120 to the first apparatus 110 (or the third apparatus 130) is referred to as a downlink (DL) , while a link from the first apparatus 110 (or the third apparatus 130) to the second apparatus 120 is referred to as an uplink (UL) . In DL, the second apparatus 120 is a transmitting (TX) device (or a transmitter) and the first apparatus 110 (or the third apparatus 130) is a receiving (RX) device (or a receiver) . In UL, the first apparatus 110 (or the third apparatus 130) is a TX device (or a transmitter) and the second apparatus 120 is a RX device (or a receiver) .

[0050] It is to be understood that the number of apparatuses and their connections shown in FIG. 1 are only for the purpose of illustration without suggesting any limitation. The communication environment 100 may include any suitable number of apparatuses configured to implementing example embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0051] In the following, for purpose of illustration, some example embodiments are described with the first apparatus 110 operating as a terminal device and the second apparatus 120 operating as a network node (also referred to as a network device) . However, in some example embodiments, operations described in connection with a terminal device may be implemented at a network node or other device, and operations described in connection with a network node may be implemented at a terminal device or other device.

[0052] Communications in the communication environment 100 may be implemented according to any proper communication protocol (s) , comprising, but not limited to, cellular communication protocols of the first generation (1G) , the second generation (2G) , the third generation (3G) , the fourth generation (4G) , the fifth generation (5G) , the sixth generation (6G) , and the like, wireless local network communication protocols such as Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 and the like, and / or any other protocols currently known or to be developed in the future. Moreover, the communication may utilize any proper wireless communication technology, comprising but not limited to: Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) , Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) , Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) , Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) , Time Division Duplex (TDD) , Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) , Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple (OFDM) , Discrete Fourier Transform spread OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) and / or any other technologies currently known or to be developed in the future.

[0053] As discussed, various of duplexing modes, such as FDD and TDD are supported. FIG. 2A illustrates an example diagram 210 of frequency-time resource partitioning for FDD. As illustrated, the resources for the DL transmission and UL transmission may be partitioned by frequency. That is, the DL transmission and UL transmission use resources in different frequency sub-bands.

[0054] FIG. 2B illustrates an example diagram 230 of frequency-time resource partitioning for TDD. As illustrated, the resources for the DL transmission and UL transmission may be partitioned by time. That is, the DL transmission and UL transmission use resources corresponding to different time slots.

[0055] FIG. 2C illustrates an example diagram 250 of frequency-time resource partitioning for SBFD. As illustrated, in SBFD, simultaneous DL and UL transmission  on different PRBs or sub-bands are supported. Each sub-band for DL transmission is not overlapped with a sub-band for UL transmission.

[0056] In some example embodiments, a plurality of time slots supporting SBFD may be divided into two slot types, that is an SBFD slot type and a non-SBFD slot type. As used herein, the term “SBFD slot” refers to a slot during which the non-overlapping DL sub-band (s) and UL sub-band (s) both exist. As used herein, the term “non-SBFD slot” refers to a slot during which the entire band is used for either DL or UL. The non-SBFD slot may be also referred to as a legacy slot or a full DL / UL slot. FIG. 2D illustrates an example diagram showing a plurality of slots, including a non-SBFD slot 260 for DL, an SBFD slot 270-1, an SBFD slot 270-2, an SBFD slot 270-3, and a non-SBFD slot 280 for UL. As used herein, the SBFD slot 270-1, 270-2 and 270-3 may be collectively referred to as “SBFD slots 270” . In some example embodiments, a transition period 285 between the SBFD slot 270-3 and the non-SBFD slot 280 may exist.

[0057] In some mechanisms, several SBFD operation modes have been studied including whether time and frequency locations of subbands for SBFD operation are known to the SBFD-aware UE or not. It however has been agreed in the third generation partnership project (3GPP) radio access network (RAN) 1#110 meeting that at least the operation mode with time and frequency locations of subbands for SBFD operation being known to the SBFD-aware UE is prioritized. This means that SBFD slots should be known by the (SBFD-aware) UE in one way or another.

[0058] There are several objectives for SBFD. For SBFD operation at network side within a TDD carrier, semi-static indication of time location of SBFD subbands to UEs in RRC_CONNECTED mode may be specified. Indication of time location of SBFD subbands in SIB may not be precluded. Semi-static indication of frequency domain location of SBFD subbands to UEs in RRC_CONNECTED mode is specified. Indication of frequency domain location of SBFD subbands in SIB is not precluded.

[0059] SBFD operation to support random access in SBFD symbols by UEs in RRC CONNECTED mode may be specified. If justified, SBFD operation to UE in RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE mode for random access may also be studied or specified.

[0060] In some mechanisms, UE transmission, reception and measurement behavior and procedures in SBFD symbols and / or non-SBFD symbols for SBFD aware UE are specified. Transmission and reception behaviors on SBFD subbands configured in DL and / or  flexible symbol indicated by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigCommon are specified. For example, UL transmissions within UL subband only may be specified. For another example, DL receptions within DL subband (s) only, except for CLI measurement by the UE outside of the DL subbands may be specified. When flexible symbols are used, it may not be expected that any legacy Uplink symbol is converted to Downlink / SBFD symbols.

[0061] In some mechanisms, it is proposed enhancement on resource allocation in frequency domain in SBFD symbols, including resource allocation in frequency domain for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH)  / channel state information (CSI) reference signal (RS) across two DL subbands in SBFD symbols; and handling of unaligned boundaries between SBFD subband (s) and resource block group (RBG) , CSI reporting subband, CSI-RS resource, precoding resource block group (PRG) .

[0062] Enhancements on physical channels / signals and procedure across SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols in different slots are proposed, where each transmission / reception within a slot has either all SBFD or all non-SBFD symbols, including resource allocation in frequency domain for transmission or reception in SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols with different available frequency resource in different slots; and CSI report of which associated CSI-RS instances occur in both SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols in different slots.

[0063] In some mechanisms, it is proposed configurations for sounding reference signal (SRS) , physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) on SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols, e.g., resources, frequency hopping parameters, UL power control parameters and / or beam / spatial relation.

[0064] Collision handling between DL reception in DL subband (s) and UL transmission in UL subband in an SBFD symbol has been proposed.

[0065] In some mechanisms, the followings are assumed:

[0066] - SBFD at the gNB side,

[0067] - half duplex operation at the UE side,

[0068] - frequency range 1 (FR1) and frequence range 2-1 (FR2-1) ,

[0069] - SBFD operation Option 4, i.e., both time and frequency locations of subbands for SBFD operation are known to SBFD aware UEs,

[0070] - coexistence between non-SBFD aware UEs (including legacy UEs) and SBFD aware UEs in the cell operating SBFD at gNB side,

[0071] - SBFD scheme within a single configured DL and UL BWP pair with aligned center frequencies,

[0072] - one UL subband for SBFD operation in an SBFD symbol (excluding legacy UL symbol / slot) within a TDD carrier,

[0073] - mechanisms for SBFD operation shall also consider the adjacent channel coexistence between two operators.

[0074] Enhancements for CLI handling are specified. For example, gNB-to-gNB co-channel CLI handling scheme (s) is supported. For another example, UE-to-UE co-channel CLI handling scheme (s) is supported. It is without dedicated optimization for dynamic / flexible TDD.

[0075] Base station (BS) radio frequency (RF) requirements for SBFD operation at gNB are specified. Applicable radio resource management (RRM) core requirements for co-channel CLI handling mechanisms are specified. Other RRM core requirements for SBFD operation, if identified, may also be specified.

[0076] However, the fact that the gNB has full-duplex capabilities (i.e. the gNB can transmit and receive at the same time) , while the UE remains half-duplex, introduces new challenges in terms of UL-DL collision handling at the UE-side, as compared to existing UE operation in legacy TDD bands. The details in terms of UL-DL collision handling in current NR specifications will be further described.

[0077] UL-DL collision handling was one of the main topics under discussion, but no agreements were reached on which collision cases need to be further analyzed or studied. For unpaired TDD spectrum, existing NR specifications already provide a basic set of rules to specify the UE behavior in terms of UL or DL prioritization. Majority of those rules are primarily defined in a standard such as in 3GPP technical specifications and generally differentiate between a dynamically scheduled signal (e.g. UL or DL transmission triggered by a downlink control information (DCI) reception) and semi-static or higher-layer configured signal (UL or DL transmission not triggered by DCI, e.g. physical random access channel (PRACH) , SRS or periodic configured-grant physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) ) . Some of the most relevant collision cases and their  corresponding handling (based on current specifications) will be described below.

[0078] The dynamically scheduled DL reception is compared with semi-statically configured UL transmission. In this case, the UE prioritizes the scheduled DL reception. However, with the condition that the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling the DL receptions occurs at least a certain minimum time (Tproc, 2) before the configured UL reception.

[0079] In some mechanisms, according to the slot configuration, for operation on a single carrier in unpaired spectrum, if a UE is configured by higher layers to transmit SRS, or PUCCH, or PUSCH, or PRACH in a set of symbols of a slot and the UE detects a DCI format indicating to the UE to receive CSI-RS or PDSCH in a subset of symbols from the set of symbols, then the UE does not expect to cancel the transmission of the PUCCH or PUSCH or PRACH in the set of symbols if the first symbol in the set occurs within Tproc, 2 relative to a last symbol of a PDCCH reception where the UE detects the DCI format. Tproc, 2 is defined in 3GPP standards as 12 + 1 orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for 30 kHz subcarrier spacing (SCS) . This means in practice that any DL scheduling can only override configured UL transmissions if the downlink control information (DCI) in the PDCCH is sent at least ~1 slot before the configured UL transmission.

[0080] FIG. 3A illustrates an example diagram 310 showing overriding of semi-statically configured UL transmission with a dynamically scheduled PDSCH. As shown, if k0 is equal to 1 slot, PDCSH 315 is scheduled. If k0 is equal to 2 slots, PDSCH 320 is scheduled. The configured UL transmission 325 is not able to be performed.

[0081] FIG. 3B illustrates another example diagram 330 showing overriding of semi-statically configured UL transmission with a dynamically scheduled PDSCH. Similar to FIG. 3A, in FIG. 3B, if k0 is equal to 0 slot, PDCSH 335 is scheduled. If k0 is equal to 1 slot, PDSCH 340 is scheduled. The configured UL transmission 345 is not able to be performed.

[0082] Semi-statically configured DL reception is compared with dynamically scheduled UL transmission. In this case, the UE prioritizes the dynamic scheduled UL transmission. This essentially means that e.g. the PDCCH would not be monitored by the UE in slots where there are scheduled UL transmissions (either fully / partly overlapping  or close enough in time such that the UE Tx-Rx switching time is not respected) .

[0083] According to the slot configuration, for operation on a single carrier in unpaired spectrum, if a UE is configured by higher layers to receive a PDCCH, or a PDSCH, or a CSI-RS, or a DL positioning reference signal (PRS) in a set of symbols of a slot, the UE receives the PDCCH, the PDSCH, the CSI-RS, or the DL PRS if the UE does not detect a DCI format that indicates to the UE to transmit a PUSCH, a PUCCH, a PRACH, or a SRS in at least one symbol of the set of symbols of the slot; otherwise, the UE does not receive the PDCCH, or the PDSCH, or the CSI-RS, or the DL PRS in the set of symbols of the slot.

[0084] FIG. 3C illustrates an example diagram 350 of overriding of semi-static DL reception due to dynamic UL transmission. As illustrated, if k2 is equal to 1, the PUSCH 355 and the PDCCH 360 is overlapped. The PDCCH 360 is not monitored due to PUSCH 355 overlapping with PDCCH 360.

[0085] Semi-statically configured DL reception is compared with semi-statically configured UL transmission. This is defined as an error case, in the sense that the gNB needs to be ensure that such situation never happens at the UE side (note that even though this restriction is currently specified for flexible symbols, it is expected that similar restriction may exist for SBFD symbols as well) .

[0086] In some mechanisms, according to the slot configuration, for a set of symbols of a slot that are indicated to a UE as flexible by tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon, and tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated if provided, the UE does not expect to receive both dedicated higher layer parameters configuring transmission from the UE in the set of symbols of the slot and dedicated higher layer parameters configuring reception by the UE in the set of symbols of the slot.

[0087] Dynamically scheduled DL reception is compared with dynamic scheduled UL transmission. This is defined as an error case, in the sense that the gNB needs to be ensure that such situation never happens at the UE side. This is not explicitly written in standard specifications, although there is a similar restriction related to the use of the DCI format 2_0 with slot format indication (SFI) .

[0088] In some mechanisms, according to the UE procedure for determining slot format, a UE does not expect to detect an SFI-index field value in DCI format 2_0 indicating the  set of symbols of the slot as downlink and also detect a DCI format, a random access response (RAR) UL grant, fallback RAR UL grant, or success RAR indicating to the UE to transmit SRS, PUSCH, PUCCH, or PRACH, in one or more symbols from the set of symbols of the slot. Alternatively, or in addition, a UE does not expect to detect an SFI-index field value in DCI format 2_0 indicating the set of symbols of the slot as uplink and also detect a DCI format indicating to the UE to receive PDSCH or CSI-RS in one or more symbols from the set of symbols of the slot.

[0089] For UE Tx-Rx switching for (legacy) TDD, last but not least, in case there is no actual overlap between DL and UL signals, a UE minimum requirement for switching between Tx and Rx needs to be respected (based on gNB configuration / implementation) . As discussed above, one of the main purposes of SBFD is to improve UL coverage and capacity. In other words, coverage-limited UEs are expected to transmit very frequent over time, e.g. using dynamic grant (DG) PUSCH, configured grant (higher-layer configured) periodic PUSCH transmissions and / or using PUSCH repetition techniques to allow the gNB to gather enough energy from receiving different redundancy versions of the same data over multiple slots. Frequent transmissions of PUCCH containing UL control may happen as well.

[0090] Based on current specifications, these UL transmissions would prevent the UE to monitor PDCCH on those slots where the dynamic UL signal overlaps with the PDCCH, and / or potentially prevent the UE to transmit PUSCH on slots following the UL repetitions. This will happen in SBFD where both DL and UL are possible, but UL transmission would prevent UE to monitor PDCCH in SBFD slots as UE is half-duplex i.e. UL only or DL only but not simultaneous, especially when there is UL repetitions in the SBFD slots.

[0091] FIG. 4 illustrates an example diagram 400 of PDCCH monitoring in SBFD. As shown in FIG. 4, although UE can do UL transmission but as there is no chance for PDCCH for UL scheduling in slot n-k2, the UL transmission after the current UL transmission can only start from n+k2 but not at slot n.

[0092] Therefore, in an SBFD network, how to schedule, without stopping, UL transmission if there is overlapping between frequent UL transmission and PDCCH monitoring for scheduling of UL of following UL / SBFD slots is a concerning problem. It is to be noted that this issue also happen for case of DL when k0>0, where k0 is time duration from PDCCH to the scheduled PDSCH.

[0093] In order to solve at least part of the above problems or other potential problems, according to the present solution on control channel monitoring in SBFD, a first apparatus (for example, a terminal device) , determines that a first transmission from the first apparatus collides with a control channel monitoring occasion in a first SBFD slot. A second transmission from the first apparatus or to the first apparatus in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion. The first apparatus determines to prioritize the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied. For example, the condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot. In this way, the first apparatus can perform the control channel monitoring on the overlapping slot. For example, the terminal device can prioritize PDCCH monitoring if there is an overlap between UL transmission and PDCCH monitoring occasion.

[0094] FIG. 5 shows a flowchart of an example method 500 implemented at a first apparatus in accordance with some example embodiments of the present disclosure. For the purpose of discussion, the method 500 will be described from the perspective of the first apparatus 110 in FIG. 1.

[0095] It is assumed that in the description of FIG. 5, an SBFD mode is enabled or initiated for the first apparatus 110. For example, the second apparatus 120 may transmit SBFD configuration to the first apparatus 110. The SBFD configuration may indicate the SBFD slots or symbols and / or the non-SBFD slots or symbols. As used herein, an apparatus receiving the SBFD configuration may be referred to as an “SBFD” aware apparatus. That is, the first apparatus 110 is an SBFD aware apparatus.

[0096] At block 510, the first apparatus 110 determines that a first transmission from the first apparatus 110 collides with a control channel monitoring occasion in a first SBFD slot. A second transmission from the first apparatus 110 or to the first apparatus 110 in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion. The second slot may be after the first SBFD slot.

[0097] In embodiments where the first apparatus 110 is a terminal device, the first apparatus 110 may determine that a first UL transmission collides with a control channel monitoring occasion such as a PDCCH monitoring occasion in a first SBFD slot. A second UL transmission or a second DL transmission in the second slot may be schedulable by  the control channel monitoring occasion in the first SBFD slot. The second slot may be a second SBFD slot, an UL slot, or a DL slot. As used herein, the second transmission may be referred to as a “next candidate transmission / reception” , and the second slot or a symbol in the second slot for the second transmission may be referred to as a “next candidate transmission / reception chance” or a “next candidate slot” . The first SBFD slot may be referred to as a current slot in some example embodiments.

[0098] In some example embodiments, the first apparatus 110 may determine that the first transmission from the first apparatus collides with the control channel monitoring occasion if the control channel monitoring occasion is on at least one SBFD symbol for the first transmission. Alternatively, or in addition, in some example embodiments, the first apparatus 110 may determine that the first transmission from the first apparatus collides with the control channel monitoring occasion if a distance in time between the control channel monitoring occasion and the at least one SBFD symbol for the first transmission is less than a predetermined or configured threshold distance.

[0099] At block 520, the first apparatus 110 determines to prioritize the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied. For example, the condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot. If the condition is not satisfied, the first apparatus 110 may not monitor the control channel in the first SBFD slot and may proceed with the UL transmission.

[0100] In some example embodiments, if the first apparatus 110 determines to prioritize the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission, the method 500 may further comprising monitoring the control channel monitoring occasion; and dropping or postponing the first transmission. For example, if the first transmission is with repetitions, the first apparatus 110 may drop the first transmission. Alternatively, or in addition, if the first transmission is without repetitions, the first apparatus 110 may postpone the first transmission. It is to be understood that there may be a transition point between the control channel monitoring and the transmission or reception after the control channel monitoring.

[0101] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a first condition that the time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot is larger than or  equal to a first threshold. The first threshold may be predetermined or configured by the second apparatus 120. For example, the first threshold may be configured as a scheduling offset of the second transmission. The scheduling offset may be an offset between the control channel monitoring occasion scheduling the second transmission and the slot or symbol for transmitting or receiving the second transmission. As used herein, the scheduling offset of the second transmission may also be referred to as a preparation time of the second transmission. The scheduling offset may equal to k0 or K2, for example.

[0102] If the second transmission is an uplink transmission, the first threshold may be configured as k2 or any other suitable value. That is, if the time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot is larger than or equal to k2, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission. If the second transmission is a downlink transmission, the first threshold may be configured as k0 (greater than 0) or any other suitable value. That is, if the time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot is larger than or equal to k0, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission.

[0103] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a second condition that the second transmission starts at a first time location in the second slot, wherein a time duration from the first SBFD slot to the first time location is within a duration range. The duration range may be predetermined or configured by the second apparatus 120. For example, if at a time location T1, which is at a duration T in slots or symbols after the first SBFD slot (referred to as slot n) , there exists a candidate uplink transmission such as physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission or UL resources or a candidate physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission in another carrier in case of cross-carrier scheduling, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission. The duration T may be predetermined (such as hardcoded in the specification) or configured by the second apparatus 120. For example, the duration T may be based on k2 or k0.

[0104] In some example embodiments, an end of the duration range is determined based on a scheduling offset of the second transmission, and another end of the duration range is determined based on a predetermined or configured value. For example, the duration range may be from T1 to T2, i.e. [T1, T2] . T1 may be based on the scheduling offset of the second transmission. T2 may be equal to a sum of T1 and the predetermined or  configured value △T.

[0105] FIG. 6 illustrates an example diagram 600 of PDCCH monitoring occasion in SBFD. In the example of FIG. 6, it is assumed that the predetermined or configured value △T is 2. An end of the duration range is determined based on k2, and another end is determined based on the predetermined value △T which is 2. That is, the duration range may be from k2 to k2+2. If the second transmission starts at the slot 622 which is at time location T1, the PDCCH monitoring occasion 614 which is at time location T1-k2. The time distance between the slot 622 and the PDCCH monitoring occasion 614 (that is, the first slot) is within the duration range, and thus the PDCCH monitoring occasion 614 may be prioritized over the transmission in the first slot. For the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612, the time distance between the slot 622 and the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612 is k2+1 which is also within the duration range, thus the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612 may also be prioritized over the transmission in the slot containing the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612. Therefore, in the range 610, the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612 and the PDCCH monitoring occasion 614 may be prioritized. The first apparatus 110 may monitor at least one of the PDCCH monitoring occasion 612 and the PDCCH monitoring occasion 614.

[0106] In some example embodiments, the time duration from the first SBFD slot to the first time location refers to a time duration from an ending symbol of the control channel monitoring occasion to the first time location. For example, if at a time location T1, which is at a duration T in slots or symbols after the last symbol of the PDCCH monitoring occasion in the first SBFD slot n, there exists a candidate uplink transmission or UL resources or a candidate DL transmission in another carrier in case of cross-carrier scheduling, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission.

[0107] Referring back to FIG. 5, in some example embodiments, the condition may include a third condition that the second slot is in a predetermined or a configured set of slots. For example, the second slot or the next candidate UL / DL may be for a beginning slot or SBFD slot after the first transmission completes. For another example, the second slot or the next candidate UL / DL may be for beginning N slots or N SBFD slots after the first transmission completes, N being a predetermined or configured integer greater than or equal to 1. For a further example, the second slot or the next candidate UL / DL may be  for all UL / DL slot or all SBFD slot after the first transmission completes. The second slot or the next candidate UL / DL may also be a predetermined or configured subset of next candidate UL / DL slots or SBFD slots. If the current first SBFD slot is k2 ahead of the next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot, the first apparatus 110 may monitor PDCCH in PDCCH symbol in the current slot. The subset may be the full UL slot, or the full SBFD slot, or the like. The subset may be hard-coded in the specification as a rule, or configured by the second apparatus 120.

[0108] In this way, if a control channel monitoring occasion is at a time location (such as a slot or a symbol) that is equal to or greater than a predetermined or configured time duration before the next candidate transmission or reception, the first apparatus 110 can monitor the control channel instead of transmitting an uplink transmission in the current SBFD slot.

[0109] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a fourth condition that a distance in time domain between the first SBFD slot and a downlink slot before the first SBFD slot is larger than a predetermined or configured second threshold. The first threshold may be same with the first threshold described above, or different from the first threshold. That is, for a next candidate slot, if the distance between the next slot and the previous DL slot before the first SBFD slot is larger than or equal to the second threshold, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission. The previous DL slot may have PDCCH to schedule for the next slot.

[0110] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a fifth condition that a distance in time domain between the first SBFD slot and a monitorable control channel slot or symbol before the first SBFD slot is larger than a predetermined or configured third threshold. The first apparatus 110 is to monitor a control channel in the monitorable control channel slot or symbol. The third threshold may be same with the second threshold described above, or different from the second threshold.

[0111] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a sixth condition that the first transmission is of a first type of uplink transmission. By way of example, the first type of uplink transmission may include but not limited to: at least one repetition in a plurality of repetitions of an uplink transmission, a dynamically scheduled PUSCH transmission, a configured grant (CG) PUSCH transmission, or a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission for channel state information (CSI) reporting.

[0112] In some example embodiments, the second transmission comprises at least one of: an uplink shared channel transmission to be scheduled, an uplink resource to be scheduled, a candidate downlink transmission to be scheduled in a different slot of the control channel to schedule the candidate downlink transmission, or a downlink shared channel transmission in a second carrier different from a first carrier for the first transmission.

[0113] Several example condition for prioritizing the control channel monitoring occasion over the transmission in the SBFD slot have been described. It is to be understood that these conditions and other suitable conditions may be applied separately, or in combination. For example, if the first or second condition is satisfied and if the fourth or fifth condition is satisfied, the first apparatus 110 may prioritize the control channel monitoring over the first transmission. Any suitable combination of these conditions may be applicable. Scope of the present disclosure is not limited here.

[0114] Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an efficient way for UE to be scheduled for next candidate resource for UL / DL operation even during UL transmission / repetition, so that to have consecutive UL / DL operation without stopping. These embodiments solve the issue that transmission or reception will be stopped because of PDCCH not available before the candidate UL / DL repetition / transmission chance.

[0115] Further embodiments regarding prioritizing the control channel monitoring occasion over the transmission in the SBFD slot will be described. In the following description, it is assumed that the first apparatus 110 is configured with SBFD and scheduled / configured with UL transmission / repetition in SBFD symbol / slot.

[0116] The first apparatus 110 may determine next UL candidate transmission / reception chance that need to have corresponding PDCCH in a SBFD slot (e.g. current SBFD slot) with UL transmission / repetition on the SBFD symbol or close to the SBFD symbol for PDCCH monitoring, so that UL transmission and PDCCH reception cannot be done simultaneously.

[0117] The next candidate UL transmission / reception chance may be a time duration after the current SBFD slot, where the time duration is for UE processing, such as a scheduling offset for the PUSCH transmission or a PUSCH preparation time.

[0118] The first apparatus 110 prioritizes PDCCH reception during the SBFD slot  instead of UL transmission / repetition, based on predefined rule or network configuration. For example, the network configuration may be received from the second apparatus 120.

[0119] In an example embodiment, for each next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot after the current UL transmission that need to monitor PDCCH on current DL / SBFD slot, e.g. current slot with the time duration (e.g., k2) before that slot for next candidate UL, the first apparatus 110 may monitor PDCCH in PDCCH symbol on current slot. For example, the next candidate UL may be for only the first UL slot or SBFD slot after the UL transmission / repetition complete. For another example, the next candidate UL may also be for the first N UL slot (s) or SBFD slot (s) after the UL transmission / repetition complete, N being an integer greater than or equal to 1. For a further example, the next candidate UL may also be for all UL slots or SBFD slots after the UL transmission / repetition complete.

[0120] In another example embodiment, only for a preconfigured subset of next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot, if current slot is k2 slot ahead of the next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot, the first apparatus 110 may monitor PDCCH in PDCCH symbol in current slot. Example of the preconfigured subset may be e.g., the full UL slot or a pattern / subset (e.g. 2 from all the 4 UL / SBFD slots) of candidate UL slots after the current UL transmission. Alternatively, this subset may be hard-coded in specification as a rule.

[0121] In a further example embodiment, for next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot, if the distance between the next candidate UL slot or SBFD slot and the previous DL slot, which may have PDCCH to schedule for the next UL slot or SBFD slot, before current slot is larger than a predefined threshold e.g. k2, then the first apparatus 110 may monitor PDCCH in PDCCH symbol in current slot.

[0122] In a still further example embodiment, for next DL transmission for cross carrier scheduling of DL (or UL) in other carrier, if configured by network, UE should prioritize PDCCH monitoring. In this case, for carrier with different TDD pattern and another carrier has DL slot overlapping with SBFD slot in this carrier, when configured or enabled by network, UE should prioritize PDCCH monitoring while drop or postpone the UL transmission on the first SBFD slot.

[0123] There may be network configuration (e.g. enable / disable) to the first apparatus 110 to behave as above operations. There may be one transition point between PDCCH monitoring and UL transmission / repetition after the PDCCH monitoring. This approach  may also be used for the case where the first apparatus 110 needs to be scheduled for DL transmission with k0>0 after the current UL transmission.

[0124] Alternatively, or in addition, in some example embodiments, at a slot n, the first apparatus 110 determines whether there is overlapping between PDCCH monitoring occasion in the slot and a UL transmission or not. If overlapped, the first apparatus 110 monitors the PDCCH in the slot.

[0125] If there is overlapping, the first apparatus 110 determines whether at a time location T1, which is at a duration T in slots (or symbols) after the slot n (or after the last symbol of the PDCCH monitoring occasion in the slot n) , there exists: a candidate PUSCH transmission or UL resources, to be scheduled , and / or a candidate PDSCH transmission in another carrier in case of cross-carrier scheduling, if supported.

[0126] It is to be noted that the ‘candidate PUSCH transmission or UL resources’ consist of resources that may be potentially used for UL transmission but have not been scheduled yet (in neither UL or DL direction) , while the PDCCH monitoring is for the PDCCH scheduling the candidate PUSCH transmission or the transmission on the candidate UL resources.

[0127] In one variation, the first apparatus 110 determines whether within the time location T1 and a time location T2 (where T2=T1+ΔT) , there exists a candidate PUSCH transmission or UL resources, and / or a candidate PDSCH transmission in another carrier in case of cross-carrier scheduling, if supported. ΔT may be configured by the network or hardcoded in specs. Then based on the determination, UE should prioritize the control channel monitoring when condition satisfied.

[0128] In case any of the above conditions are satisfied, the first apparatus 110 monitors the PDCCH and does not receive the UL transmission in the current slot. Additionally, the following additional restrictions may be specified.

[0129] In some example embodiment, one restriction may be that the first apparatus 110 does not do UL transmission but monitor PDCCH in the current slot only if the candidate PUSCH (or PDSCH) transmission is in a slot belongs to a preconfigured subset of slots, e.g., UL only slots or a subset / pattern of candidate SBFD / UL slots.

[0130] Another restriction may be that the first apparatus 110 does not do UL transmission but monitor PDCCH in the current slot only if the first apparatus 110 has not  monitored a PDCCH in the last N slots or symbols, or a DL slot precedes the current slot (Candidate 3 as above) .

[0131] A further restriction may be that the first apparatus 110 does not do UL transmission but monitor PDCCH in the current slot only if this UL transmission is of a specific type (e.g. hardcoded in specs) , e.g. limited to UL transmissions transmitted with a certain number of repetitions, or limited to configured-grant UL PUSCH transmissions only. Alternatively, or additionally, in some example embodiments, such approach for PDCCH monitoring on overlapping slot is applied for the PDCCH within SBFD slots / symbols only.

[0132] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure provide an efficient way for UE to be scheduled for next candidate resource for UL / DL operation even during UL transmission / repetition, so that to have consecutive UL / DL operation without stopping. These embodiments solve the issue that transmission or reception will be stopped because of PDCCH not available before the candidate UL / DL repetition / transmission chance.

[0133] FIG. 7 illustrates a flowchart of a method 700 for PDCCH monitoring in SBFD according to some example embodiments of the present disclosure. For the purpose of discussion, the method 700 will be described from the perspective of the first apparatus 110 in FIG. 1. In the following description, it is assumed that the first apparatus 110 may be implemented as a terminal device.

[0134] At block 710, the first apparatus 110 may be configured with SBFD and scheduled or configured with UL transmission / repetition in SBFD symbol / slot. The UL transmission may be with repetition (for example, r repetitions, r being an integer greater than or equal to 1) or without repetition. For the case of UL transmission with repetition, the following operations may happen in any slot of the repetitions, and it may happen in one or more than one slots of the repetitions. For UL transmission without repetitions, it may be for the dynamic scheduled PUSCH transmission, CG PUSCH transmission, or PUCCH transmission for CSI reporting.

[0135] At block 720, the first apparatus 110 determines next PUSCH candidate transmission / reception chance that needs to have corresponding PDCCH in a SBFD slot with UL transmission / repetition on the SBFD symbol or close to the SBFD symbol so that UL transmission and PDCCH reception may not be done simultaneously.

[0136] For all candidate UL slot or SBFD slot that is in position of 1…k2+1 slots after the end of the current ongoing UL transmission, the first apparatus 110 may determine whether the ongoing UL transmission is collided with PDCCH monitoring. Here k2 may be referred to as a scheduling offset or a PUSCH preparation time.

[0137] It is to be noted that there may be more than one UL transmission in the SBFD slots that will collide with the PDCCH monitoring, then the first apparatus 110 may do the determination in:

[0138] - the first (or beginning) slot in the SBFD slots that is colliding with the PDCCH monitoring,

[0139] - the first N slots in the SBFD slots that are colliding with the PDCCH monitoring, where N may be a predefined or network configured integer,

[0140] - the Nth slot in the SBFD slots that are colliding with the PDCCH monitoring, where N may be a predefined or network configured integer,

[0141] - the Nth -Mth slots in the SBFD slots that are colliding with the PDCCH monitoring, where N and M may be predefined or network configured integers, where N and M are predefined or configured integers,

[0142] - a pattern of the slots in the SBFD slots that are colliding with the PDCCH monitoring, where the pattern may be predefined or network configured.

[0143] It is to be noted that the SBFD slots may be consecutive or non-consecutive SBFD slots. It is to be noted that there may be one or more than one UL candidate transmission chance after the end of the current UL transmission that need the first apparatus 110 to monitor PDCCH during the SBFD slot (s) for current ongoing UL transmission. These UL transmission chances may be the first 1 or N or all UL / SBFD slots after the current UL transmission. Alternatively, these UL transmission chances may be subset of UL / SBFD slots after the current UL transmission. Alternatively, these UL transmission chances may be for the current serving cell or other serving cell, in current carrier or in another carrier.

[0144] If the current UL transmission collides with the PDCCH change, at block 730, the first apparatus 110 prioritizes PDCCH reception during the SBFD slot instead of UL transmission / repetition, based on predefined rule or network configuration.

[0145] When the first apparatus 110 prioritizes the PDCCH reception in the collided SBFD slot, the UL transmission in that SBFD slot may be dropped. For example, if there is other repetition of the UL transmission, the UL transmission may be dropped. In some example embodiments, the dropping may be only drop on the symbols for PDCCH monitoring (and transition period if any) .

[0146] Alternatively, in some example embodiments, the UL transmission in that overlapping SBFD slot may be postponed, for example, if the UL transmission is without repetitions.

[0147] If the current UL transmission does not collide with the PDCCH change, at block 740, the first apparatus 110 performs UL transmission (s) in the SBFD slot (s) with UL transmission (s) .

[0148] It is to be understood that the flowchart 700 may also be used for the case where the first apparatus 110 needs to be scheduled for DL transmission with k0>0 after the current UL transmission. In such cases, there may be one or more than one SBFD slot for UE to do PDCCH monitoring for one or more than one DL transmission chance after the current UL transmission.

[0149] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure provide an efficient way for UE to be scheduled for next candidate resource for UL / DL operation even during UL transmission / repetition, so that to have consecutive UL / DL operation without stopping. These embodiments solve the issue that transmission or reception will be stopped because of PDCCH not available before the candidate UL / DL repetition / transmission chance.

[0150] According to some example embodiments of the present disclosure, the second apparatus 120 such as a network device 120 may determine that the control channel monitoring occasion is prioritized over the first transmission based on a condition in a similar way. The second apparatus 120 can thus know about or predict the UE behavior on following slots.

[0151] FIG. 8 shows a flowchart of an example method 800 implemented at a second apparatus in accordance with some example embodiments of the present disclosure. For the purpose of discussion, the method 800 will be described from the perspective of the second apparatus 120 in FIG. 1.

[0152] At block 810, the second apparatus 120 determines that a first transmission from  a first apparatus 110 to the second apparatus 120 collides with a control channel monitoring occasion of the first apparatus in a first SBFD slot. A second transmission from the first apparatus 110 or to the first apparatus 110 in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion. In embodiments where the second apparatus 120 is a network device and the first apparatus 110 is a terminal device, the second apparatus 120 may determine that a first UL transmission collides with a downlink control channel monitoring occasion such as a PDCCH monitoring occasion in the first SBFD slot. A second UL or DL transmission in the second slot may be schedulable by the PDCCH monitoring occasion.

[0153] At block 820, the second apparatus 120 determines that the control channel monitoring occasion is prioritized over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied. The condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot.

[0154] In some example embodiments, the method 800 further comprises: transmitting, to the first apparatus 110, an indication to determine priority of the control channel monitoring occasion and the first transmission.

[0155] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a first condition that the time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot is larger than or equal to a predetermined or configured first threshold.

[0156] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a second condition that the second transmission starts at a first time location in the second slot, wherein a time duration from the first SBFD slot to the first time location is within a predetermined or a configured duration range.

[0157] In some example embodiments, an end of the duration range is determined based on a scheduling offset of the second transmission, and another end of the duration range is determined based on a predetermined or configured value.

[0158] In some example embodiments, the time duration from the first SBFD slot to the first time location comprises a time duration from an ending symbol of the control channel monitoring occasion to the first time location.

[0159] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a third condition that  the second slot is in a predetermined or a configured set of slots.

[0160] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a fourth condition that a distance in time domain between the first SBFD slot and a downlink slot before the first SBFD slot is larger than a predetermined or configured second threshold.

[0161] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a fifth condition that a distance in time domain between the first SBFD slot and a monitorable control channel slot or symbol before the first SBFD slot is larger than a predetermined or configured third threshold, wherein the first apparatus is to monitor a control channel in the monitorable control channel slot or symbol.

[0162] In some example embodiments, the condition may include a sixth condition that the first transmission is of a first type of uplink transmission. By way of example, the first type of uplink transmission may include but not limited to: at least one repetition in a plurality of repetitions of an uplink transmission, a dynamically scheduled PUSCH transmission, a CG PUSCH transmission, or a PUCCH transmission for CSI reporting.

[0163] It is to be understood that these conditions and other suitable conditions may be applied separately, or in addition. Some example embodiments of prioritizing the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission described with respect to FIG. 5 to FIG. 7 may also be applied to the second apparatus 120 in a similar way. Scope of the present disclosure is not limited here.

[0164] By determining the prioritization of the control channel monitoring occasion over the transmission in the SBFD slot by the network, the network can know about or predict that UE has monitored or can monitor the PDCCH on the overlapping SBFD slot. Thus, the network can schedule or expect transmission to take place in the scheduled future slot.

[0165] It is to be understood that the method 500, the method 700, and the method 800 can be applied in combination. With these methods, an efficient way for the UE to be scheduled for next candidate resource for UL / DL operation can be achieved even during UL transmission / reception. In this way, consecutive UL / DL operation can be performed without stopping, which solves the issue that transmission or reception will be stopped because of PDCCH not available before the candidate UL / DL reception / transmission chance.

[0166] In some example embodiments, a first apparatus capable of performing any of the method 500 (for example, the first apparatus 110 in FIG. 1) may comprise means for performing the respective operations of the method 500. The means may be implemented in any suitable form. For example, the means may be implemented in a circuitry or software module. The first apparatus may be implemented as or included in the first apparatus 110 in FIG. 1.

[0167] In some example embodiments, the first apparatus comprises means for determining that a first transmission from the first apparatus collides with a control channel monitoring occasion in a first sub-band non-overlapping full-duplex (SBFD) slot, wherein a second transmission from the first apparatus or to the first apparatus in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion; and means for determining to prioritize the control channel monitoring occasion over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied, wherein the condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot.

[0168] In some example embodiments, the first apparatus further comprises means for performing other operations in some example embodiments of the method 500 or the first apparatus 110. In some example embodiments, the means comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the performance of the first apparatus.

[0169] In some example embodiments, a second apparatus capable of performing any of the method 800 (for example, the second apparatus 120 in FIG. 1) may comprise means for performing the respective operations of the method 800. The means may be implemented in any suitable form. For example, the means may be implemented in a circuitry or software module. The second apparatus may be implemented as or included in the second apparatus 120 in FIG. 1.

[0170] In some example embodiments, the second apparatus comprises means for determining that a first transmission from a first apparatus to the second apparatus collides with a control channel monitoring occasion of the first apparatus in a first sub-band non-overlapping full-duplex (SBFD) slot, wherein a second transmission from the first apparatus or to the first apparatus in a second slot is schedulable by the control channel monitoring occasion; and means for determining that the control channel monitoring  occasion is prioritized over the first transmission based on a condition being satisfied, wherein the condition being satisfied is based on at least one of: a time domain distance between the first SBFD slot and the second slot, or a time location of a control channel monitoring occasion before the first SBFD slot.

[0171] In some example embodiments, the second apparatus further comprises means for performing other operations in some example embodiments of the method 800 or the second apparatus 120. In some example embodiments, the means comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the performance of the second apparatus.

[0172] FIG. 9 is a simplified block diagram of a device 900 that is suitable for implementing example embodiments of the present disclosure. The device 900 may be provided to implement a communication device, for example, the first apparatus 110 or the second apparatus 120 as shown in FIG. 1. As shown, the device 900 includes one or more processors 910, one or more memories 920 coupled to the processor 910, and one or more communication modules 940 coupled to the processor 910.

[0174] The processor 910 may be of any type suitable to the local technical network and may include one or more of the following: general purpose computers, special purpose computers, microprocessors, digital signal processors (DSPs) and processors based on multicore processor architecture, as non-limiting examples. The device 900 may have multiple processors, such as an application specific integrated circuit chip that is slaved in time to a clock which synchronizes the main processor.

[0175] The memory 920 may include one or more non-volatile memories and one or more volatile memories. Examples of the non-volatile memories include, but are not limited to, a Read Only Memory (ROM) 924, an electrically programmable read only memory (EPROM) , a flash memory, a hard disk, a compact disc (CD) , a digital video disk (DVD) , an optical disk, a laser disk, and other magnetic storage and / or optical storage.  Examples of the volatile memories include, but are not limited to, a random access memory (RAM) 922 and other volatile memories that will not last in the power-down duration.

[0176] A computer program 930 includes computer executable instructions that are executed by the associated processor 910. The instructions of the program 930 may include instructions for performing operations / acts of some example embodiments of the present disclosure. The program 930 may be stored in the memory, e.g., the ROM 924. The processor 910 may perform any suitable actions and processing by loading the program 930 into the RAM 922.

[0177] The example embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented by means of the program 930 so that the device 900 may perform any process of the disclosure as discussed with reference to FIG. 5 to FIG. 8. The example embodiments of the present disclosure may also be implemented by hardware or by a combination of software and hardware.
