Abstract
Description
[0001] fence post
[0002] Description
[0003] The invention relates to a fence post for a mobile pasture fence, wherein the fence post comprises at least: a tubular element which is tubular and encloses a space and extends along a tubular longitudinal axis and an anchoring device which is arranged at one of the tubular element ends of the tubular element and with which the fence post can be fastened in the ground.
[0004] Fence posts for mobile pasture fences are used in the agricultural sector, for example, to enclose animals. Other applications for such mobile pasture fences include boundary lines in ski resorts, on construction sites, or in private areas. The mobile fences can be used permanently. The mobile fences consist of fence posts that are anchored in the ground with ground nails and a fence net, fence tape, cords, or ropes, usually twisted or braided, which are stretched horizontally between the individual fence posts. Various fence posts are known from the state of the art. In particular, these fence posts are made of extruded PVC, injection-molded thermoplastic, or pultruded glass-fiber reinforced plastic. However, these state-of-the-art fence posts have various disadvantages.
[0005] The extruded PVC fence post is inexpensive to manufacture and UV-resistant thanks to the PVC. However, the PVC makes the post soft and easily bent. The post is also quite heavy due to the required wall thickness, and PVC's recyclability is limited. Furthermore, a predetermined breaking point is created when holes are drilled into the fence post. Another problem is that PVC is difficult to subsequently bond with other plastics.
[0006] Fence posts made of thermoplastic are usually manufactured by injection molding and can be reinforced with glass fibers. However, the disadvantage is that the injection molding process requires a comparatively expensive manufacturing tool. Furthermore, the tool itself must be modified for every geometric change, which incurs additional costs. The injection molding process itself only allows for very short, undirected fibers. The post is also very heavy due to the complete plastic filling.
[0007] Fence posts for these fences are also made of pultruded glass-fiber-reinforced plastic. Due to the use of long fibers, this material is very rigid and also inexpensive to manufacture. However, the matrix is usually made of a thermosetting material, such as epoxy or vinyl resin, which is not recyclable. Furthermore, the material cannot be subsequently deformed by heat and is only partially UV-stable.
[0008] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a fence post for a mobile pasture fence which is lightweight, cost-effective and UV-stable and also has good recyclability without having to compromise on the mechanical properties.
[0009] The object is achieved by a fence post for a mobile pasture fence, wherein the fence post comprises at least: a tubular element which is tubular and encloses an interior space and extends along a tubular longitudinal axis and an anchoring device which is arranged at one of the tubular element ends of the tubular element, with which the fence post can be fastened in the ground.The invention is characterized in that the pipe element consists of a layered structure which comprises at least an inner and an outer layer which are arranged radially against one another, so that the inner layer represents the surface of the pipe element towards the interior and the outer layer represents the surface of the pipe element towards the external environment, wherein the inner layer consists of a fiber-reinforced composite material which comprises at least one thermoplastic matrix, at least consisting of a thermoplastic material and reinforcing fibers embedded therein, and the outer layer which consists of at least one thermoplastic material.
[0010] The fence post according to the invention is hollow on the inside due to its tubular structure and thus, in combination with a thin tube wall made possible by the fiber reinforcement of the inner layer, particularly lightweight. The low material consumption also makes the fence post according to the invention cost-effective. The outer layer, which encloses the inner layer from the environment, also makes the fence post UV-stable, and no splinters or reinforcing fibers can detach from the inner layer, which could cause injuries. The use of thermoplastic makes the fence post very easy to recycle. Furthermore, the thermoplastic material allows for subsequent deformability through the application of heat. The fiber-reinforced composite material also makes the fence post mechanically very stable and particularly rigid.The thermoplastic matrix achieves high tensile and shear strength, as well as a high modulus of elasticity. Combined with the high rigidity provided by the reinforcing fibers, this results in a mechanically extremely stable fence post.
[0011] The cross-section of the tubular element is preferably round and particularly preferably circular, but can also be angular. The material of the anchoring device is preferably metal or plastic. According to the invention, the layered structure of the tubular element comprises at least one inner and one outer layer. However, it is also conceivable for the layered structure to comprise more than two layers. In particular, it would also be conceivable to arrange a further layer on the inner surface which faces the interior of the tubular element. It would also be conceivable to attach a further layer to the surface of the outer layer of the tubular element which faces the external environment and / or to arrange further layers between the inner and outer layers.
[0012] According to a preferred embodiment, the monomer of the thermoplastic material of the matrix of the inner layer has a viscosity of less than 10 mPas, preferably less than 7 mPas, particularly preferably 5 mPas. This viscosity is preferably achieved at 70°C. The low viscosity of the monomer of the thermoplastic material ensures good wetting of the reinforcing fibers during the manufacturing process. The good wetting of the fibers allows for a particularly stable mechanical bond between the reinforcing fibers and the thermoplastic matrix, resulting in a particularly stable material and thus in improved mechanical properties of the fence post.
[0013] The thermoplastic of the matrix and / or the outer layer may also contain one or more additives. Additives may include, in particular: activators and catalysts for the polymerization reaction, color pigments, stabilizers, defoamers, substances for adjusting the viscosity of the monomer, and substances for improving the mechanical properties of the polymer.
[0014] According to a preferred embodiment, the thermoplastic material of the matrix of the inner layer is a polyamide, preferably polyamide 6 (PA6). PA6 is a very easily recyclable thermoplastic. PA is made from the monomer c-caprolactam, which has a very low viscosity between 5 - 10 mPas and enables correspondingly good wetting of the reinforcing fibers. As an alternative to PA6 or polyamide, the use of polypropylene (PP) is also conceivable. It is also conceivable to use polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as the thermoplastic material of the matrix. Preferably, the material Elium® (manufacturer Akema) can be used, although materials from other manufacturers are also conceivable. It is also conceivable to use polyamide 12 (PA12) as the thermoplastic material of the matrix. This can be made from the monomer laurolactam.When using both PA6 and PA12, the reinforcing fibers are preferably wetted with the respective monomer, which is then polymerized.
[0015] According to a preferred embodiment, the reinforcing fibers embedded in the matrix are aligned with their longitudinal fiber axes parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular element. The alignment of the fibers, similar to a texture, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular element improves the rigidity of the tubular element. While the mechanical properties can also be improved by incorporating random fibers, the mechanical properties can be further improved by reinforcing fibers aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular element. In particular, the rigidity can be further increased.
[0016] Alternatively, the reinforcing fibers in the matrix can also be wound or braided around the interior of the tubular element. In this case, the fiber longitudinal axes run at an angle of less than 89° to the tubular element's longitudinal axis. Here, it is conceivable that the reinforcing fibers run parallel to each other and are arranged helically around the interior in the matrix of the inner layer. Alternatively, the reinforcing fibers can also be interwoven, thus forming a braided structure.
[0017] According to a preferred embodiment, the reinforcing fiber is a long fiber. Using a long fiber allows for the best stiffness of the finished fence post. A continuous fiber is preferred. Using a continuous fiber makes the fence post particularly easy to manufacture. The tubular element can be manufactured as a continuous tubular element, which is then sawn into tubular elements of the desired length in a subsequent process step.
[0018] According to a preferred embodiment, the reinforcing fiber is a glass fiber. Glass fibers are characterized by their low price, which allows the fence post to be manufactured correspondingly cost-effectively. Glass fibers are also available, particularly as long and continuous fibers. It is also conceivable that other reinforcing fibers made of inorganic or organic materials could be used.
[0019] According to a preferred embodiment, the volume content of the reinforcing fiber in the composite material is 65-80 vol.%. A fiber content of 65-80 vol.% represents a comparatively high fiber content. This high fiber content allows for high rigidity of the component. Fiber volume contents of more than 80 vol.% are currently difficult to produce. Fiber contents below 65 vol.% do not provide the desired rigidity of the finished fence post. The fiber volume content of the reinforcing fiber in the composite material is preferably 65-75 vol.%, particularly preferably 68-72 vol.%. Within these fiber volume contents, particularly good rigidity can be achieved with simultaneous good manufacturability, especially when using polyamide 6 as the matrix material.
[0020] Alternatively, it is conceivable that the volume content of the reinforcing fiber in the composite material is less than 60 vol.%. The volume content of the reinforcing fiber in the composite material is preferably 20-60 vol.%, particularly preferably 30-50 vol.%, and in particular 30-40 vol.%. A volume content of the reinforcing fiber below 60 vol.% can make the fence post flexible. This flexibility makes the fence post more wind-resistant, as the force can be absorbed by the fence post itself. This has the advantage that the anchoring device does not loosen in windy conditions, and the fence post remains firmly anchored. Due to the lower density of the plastic compared to the reinforcing fibers, the post in this embodiment is also lighter. For applications in corresponding environments, these advantages can outweigh the disadvantage of reduced stability due to lower rigidity.
[0021] According to a preferred embodiment, the thermoplastic material of the outer layer is a polyamide. By using polyamide for the plastic of the outer layer as well, the outer layer consists of the same material type as the matrix of the inner layer. Using the same material types results in the fence post being very easily recyclable. It is also conceivable to use a mixture of different thermoplastic materials for the outer layer and / or to manufacture the outer layer in sections from different materials.
[0022] According to a preferred embodiment, the thermoplastic of the outer layer contains color pigments. The preferred PA6 is preferably used in the color "natural," which is yellowish-white and opaque in the visible and UV spectrum. Additional color pigments for coloring thermoplastics are expensive. In order to keep material costs low, it is therefore advantageous to use a small amount of color pigment to color the entire fence post. By coloring only the thin outer layer, a complete optical coloration of the fence post can be achieved while simultaneously using the expensive pigment sparingly. It is also conceivable to apply the color pigment only to parts of the outer layer. In this way, a colored pattern can be achieved. A single line or multiple lines parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubular element would be conceivable. However, any other pattern is also conceivable.It is also conceivable that the outer layer contains different color pigments and preferably a multi-colored pattern.
[0023] It is also conceivable to make the outer layer at least partially or completely retroreflective. For this purpose, the thermoplastic material in the retroreflective area preferably contains glass beads and is transparent or translucent. In this case, the plastic of the outer layer preferably contains a UV-blocking auxiliary substance at least in the transparent or translucent areas. This means that the tubular element remains UV-stable despite the transparent or translucent areas. Alternatively, a further UV-blocking thermoplastic material layer can be arranged in the layer structure between the inner and outer layers. This layer is preferably made of polyamide, particularly preferably PA 6, or PP. The retroreflective areas can preferably be integrated into the single- or multi-colored pattern described above.
[0024] In a preferred embodiment, the fence post has an adapter with which the anchoring device is attached to the tubular element, wherein the adapter is made of polyamide. If metal is selected as the material for the anchoring device, it can only be attached to the tubular element using an adapter. The adapter is plugged onto the tubular element. For more secure attachment, it is also possible to additionally fasten the adapter to the tubular element using ultrasonic welding. The metal anchoring device is pressed into the adapter. By using a polyamide adapter, the same material is preferably used for the adapter as is already used for the matrix in the composite material and the outer layer of the tubular element. This further improves the good recyclability of the fence post. The adapter is preferably made of PA 6 or PA 6.6.Alternatively, it is also possible to use other materials for the adapter. The adapter preferably consists of at least one thermoplastic, particularly preferably polypropylene (PP). If the anchoring device is made of the same plastic as the tubular element, it is also possible to construct the anchoring device integrally with the tubular element. The anchoring device is preferably formed directly during the application of the outer layer or subsequently formed by reshaping one end of the tubular element.
[0025] According to a preferred embodiment, the fence post has a cap which is arranged at the tubular element end opposite the anchoring device, wherein the cap is made of a polyamide. Alternatively, it is also possible to use other materials for the adapter. Preferably, the cap consists of at least one thermoplastic, particularly preferably polypropylene (PP). Preferably, the tubular element is produced as a continuous tubular element consisting of the inner and outer layers, and then sawn into individual tubular elements of the desired length in a further process step. Due to this preferred manufacturing method, the cut edge at the tubular element ends is not covered by the outer layer. Rather, the fiber-reinforced inner layer forms part of the cut surface.Although the outer layer is positioned flush with the cut surface, fraying or breakage of the reinforcing fibers from the inner layer is largely prevented, it cannot be completely ruled out. To eliminate any potential risk of injury, a cap can be used. The cap preferably covers the entire cut edge of the tubular element. By attaching it to the upper end of the tubular element, the cap preferably seals off the interior of the tubular element from the outside environment. The cap is preferably made of polyamide to ensure the recyclability of the fence post. The cap is preferably attached to the corresponding tubular element end.
[0026] According to a preferred embodiment, the fence post has fastening means for a fence net or fence tape, which are arranged on the tubular element. The fastening means is preferably designed as a clip or hook. The clip as well as the hook preferably have a hook element to which the fence net or fence tape can be hooked. In the case of the hook, the hook element is preferably formed integrally with the outer layer. This can be achieved either by directly molding the hooks when applying the outer layer to the inner layer or by subsequently forming the thermoplastic outer layer. The direct molding of the hooks is preferably carried out by injection molding. The clip is preferably a stand-alone component that can be detachably connected to the tubular element. The clip is preferably held on the tubular element by a clamping force.It is also conceivable to use other fastening means that can be detachably attached to the pipe element.
[0027] The tubular element preferably has molded-in recesses that provide locking positions for the releasably attachable fastening means. This makes it possible to attach the fastening means to the tubular element at defined intervals from one another, which are preferably adapted to the mesh size of the fence net.
[0028] Alternatively, the inventive choice of material also makes it possible to implement the fastener as a hole in the pipe element. The subsequent insertion of the hole, due to the thermoplastic material, eliminates the need for a predetermined breaking point, as is the case with PVC, for example.
[0029] As previously described, mobile fences consist of fence posts and a fence net, fence tape, or cords or ropes, usually twisted or braided, which are stretched horizontally between the individual fence posts. Compared to permanent fences, the posts of mobile fences are narrow and lightweight. The fence net or tape can be easily rolled up or folded. This ensures the mobile fence's easy transportability. However, due to this construction with minimal material, the mobile fence may be less visible than permanent fences, especially in the dark.
[0030] Passive-lit mobile pasture fences are known from the state of the art; their visibility is improved by the use of reflectors. However, for use in remote pastures or other unlit areas, such as ski resorts, construction sites, or private property, passive lighting is often insufficient. Active lighting for mobile pasture fences is also known. In this case, a light element is attached to the fence netting or tape. The disadvantage here is that the light elements can easily be lost or damaged, for example, and sufficient visibility of the fence is then no longer guaranteed.
[0031] It is therefore desirable to provide a mobile electric fence that includes active lighting that can be securely attached to the fence, thus further improving the fence's security. The stability, mobility, and cost-effectiveness of the fence must not be compromised.
[0032] This is achieved with the preferred embodiment described below. According to this preferred embodiment, the tubular element is at least partially translucent, and the fence post comprises a lighting device arranged in the interior of the tubular element. This embodiment can be combined with all previously described embodiments of the fence post.
[0033] The lighting device inside the tubular element, combined with its translucency, means the fence post can be illuminated from the inside. This offers a variety of advantages: Firstly, the lighting device inside the tubular element is protected from the weather and is installed there in a particularly secure manner. Furthermore, the illumination of all fence posts creates an actively illuminated, regular pattern that is easily recognized as a fence by animals and people and can therefore optimally fulfill its warning function. Furthermore, active lighting makes the fence visible from a great distance. In combination with the lighting pattern of the fence posts, which is easily recognizable as a fence, it is possible to see from a great distance whether the fence is still standing or has fallen over due to the weather, for example. This recognition is often possible at night from the valley below in the case of a fence erected on a mountain.The light transmission of the tubular element can be achieved either by making the tubular element at least partially transparent or at least partially translucent. If PA 6 is used in the transparent or translucent version instead of the opaque natural color, the PA 6 is also transparent or translucent in the UV range. To still achieve the desired UV stability, it is conceivable that the plastic of the outer and, if applicable, also the inner layer contains either a UV-blocking additive and / or an additional UV-protective coating that is transparent in the visible range is applied to the tubular element.
[0034] To ward off wild animals, blue light is preferably emitted from the lighting device. However, the emitted light can also have any other color or be white. It is also conceivable for the tubular element to be only partially translucent. The translucent areas and the opaque areas are preferably arranged in a pattern. The pattern can be a warning pattern, for example. It is also conceivable for the tubular element to be transparent and / or translucent. Transparent and translucent areas can in particular also be arranged in a pattern. It is also conceivable for the tubular element to be colorless or at least partially colored. The pigments for the coloring are preferably arranged only in the outer layer of the tubular element.
[0035] The power supply for the lighting device is preferably provided by a battery in or on the lighting device itself. If it is an electric fence, the lighting device can also be connected to the electric fence's power supply. This has the advantage that no separate batteries are required to operate the lighting devices. It is also conceivable for the fence post, e.g., on the cap, tubular element, or adapter, to include a solar module and a rechargeable battery, which can be used to generate and store electricity from sunlight to operate the lighting device.
[0036] According to a further preferred embodiment, the lighting device is arranged in the tubular element so that it can be removed without causing any damage. In this embodiment, the lighting device can be installed and removed from the fence post. This allows the owner of the fence to install lighting devices in specific fence posts themselves. This is possible both when the fence is erected and when the fence is dismantled. For example, only the fence posts along a path can be retrofitted with lighting devices without the fence posts themselves having to be replaced. It is also possible to remove the lighting devices for transport, repair, or replacement, or to illuminate other areas of the fence. This embodiment is preferably combined with the fence post with the cap. On the one hand, the fence post is closed at the top by the cap, and the lighting device is thus protected from moisture.Alternatively, the lighting device itself can be attached to the cap, so that the lighting device can be easily removed from the tubular element by removing the cap from the tubular element. In this case, the cap is preferably releasably attached to the tubular element. The cap preferably has a fastening means for the lighting device, e.g., in the form of a clamping element or a hook.
[0037] Alternatively, the lighting device can also be permanently attached to the fence post. In this case, in addition to the fixed connection to the tubular element, a fixed connection to the cap or adapter is also possible. For example, the lighting device can be permanently encapsulated in the tubular element, cap, or adapter.
[0038] The lighting device is preferably an LED. LEDs are cost-effective and robust light sources characterized by low power consumption. LEDs are also available in various colors. This makes it easy to create a lighting device that illuminates in multiple colors or a specific color.
[0039] In a preferred embodiment, the lighting device is an LED lighting device in the form of a rod or strip. Due to its elongated shape, an LED rod or strip can be arranged particularly easily inside the tubular element. Furthermore, the length of the LED rod or strip preferably corresponds to the length of the tubular element. This allows the fence post to be illuminated along its entire length.
[0040] Furthermore, the lighting device preferably includes a timer and / or a brightness sensor and / or a motion sensor. This allows the lighting device to be automatically switched on or off at a specific time and / or at a specific brightness level and / or when a person or animal approaches the fence. This ensures that the lighting device only emits light when needed. This is both energy-efficient and prevents unnecessary light pollution.
[0041] The inner layer of the fence post is particularly advantageously manufactured using the in-situ pultrusion process. The outer layer is preferably subsequently applied using an injection molding process. The resulting continuous tubular element is then cut into individual tubular elements of the desired length, preferably in a final sawing step.
[0042] Further advantages, objects, and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of the accompanying figures. Similar components may have the same reference numerals in the various embodiments.
[0043] The figures show:
[0044] Fig. 1 shows a representation of the mobile pasture fence;
[0045] Fig. 2 shows the fence post in three different perspectives;
[0046] Fig. 3 a sectional view of the fence post in two different perspectives with a section plane AA along the longitudinal axis of the pipe element;
[0047] Fig. 4 a sectional view of the fence post with a cutting plane BB perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pipe element including an enlarged view of a partial area;
[0048] Fig. 5 is a representation of the fence post in the embodiment with various fastening means;
[0049] Fig. 6 shows a representation of the fence post in the embodiment with lighting device;
[0050] Fig. 7 shows an embodiment of the cap with a lighting device arranged thereon. Figure 1 shows a representation of the mobile electric fence 2 according to an embodiment. The electric fence 2 comprises fence posts 1 and a fence net 3 or, alternatively, fence tapes, which are tensioned horizontally between the fence posts 1 inserted in the ground B. The fence posts 1 are secured in the ground B with the anchoring device 8. The fence net 3 or the fence tape is attached to the fence posts 1 using fastening means 10.
[0051] Figure 2 shows a representation of the fence post 1 according to one embodiment in three different perspectives. The fence post 1 comprises a tubular element 4 and an anchoring device 8. The tubular element 4 is tubular and runs vertically along a tubular element longitudinal axis L. The tubular element 4 is hollow inside. The tubular element 4 thus encloses an interior space 6. The fence post 1 preferably comprises an adapter 8a, with which the anchoring device 8 is attached to the tubular element 4.
[0052] In the embodiment shown, the anchoring device 8 has two parallel ground spikes 8b. One of the ground spikes 8b extends vertically downwards along the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element 4 as an extension of the tubular element 4. The second ground spike 8b is preferably arranged parallel to it and spaced apart. The second ground spike 8b is preferably connected to the first ground spike 8b via a horizontally running bridge element 8c. When arranged in the ground, the two ground spikes 8b are sunk into the ground, while the horizontally running bridge element 8c rests on the ground surface. The bridge element 8c in conjunction with the second ground spike 8b ensures, on the one hand, a more stable stand for the fence post 1. On the other hand, the bridge element 8c can be used for the anchoring device 8 to enter the ground. However, it is also conceivable that the fence post 1 has only one ground spike 8b on the anchoring device 8.In this case, preferably only the ground spike 8b extending along the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element is present, and optionally the bridge element 8c for entering the ground. The second ground spike 8b spaced apart from it is not present in this embodiment.
[0053] The ground nail 8 is preferably attached to the tubular element 4 via an adapter 8a. The anchoring device 8 is preferably attached to a tubular element end 4a on the tubular element 4 via its adapter 8a. The anchoring device is preferably arranged at the lower tubular element end 4a. The upper tubular element end 4b preferably has a cap 9. However, it is also conceivable to use the fence post 1 without a cap 9. Figure 3 shows a sectional view of the fence post 1 from two different perspectives with a sectional plane AA along the tubular element longitudinal axis L. In the left-hand illustration in Figure 3, the sectional plane AA is illustrated in the schematic drawing of a fence post 1. The middle illustration shows a sectional view along the sectional axis AA. The right-hand illustration shows the same sectional view, but in a perspective view. The sectional views illustrate the tubular design of the tubular element 4.The pipe element 4 has a round cross-section perpendicular to the pipe element longitudinal axis L.
[0054] The adapter 8a is preferably plugged onto the tubular element 4. The lower tubular element end 4a is inserted into provided grooves 8d of the adapter 8a. The connection between adapter 8a and tubular element 4 is thus a plug-in connection. The adapter 8a is preferably held to the tubular element 4 by clamping force. To improve the attachment of the adapter 8 to the tubular element 4, alternative or additional attachment methods are conceivable, e.g., ultrasonic welding. The adapter 8a also has a hooked extension 8e. With the help of the hooked extension 8e, a cord can be stretched between the fence posts 1 of the pasture fence 2. The cord is hooked onto the hooked extension 8a and thus fastened to the fence post 1. It is also conceivable to hook the fence net 3 or the fence tape into the hook of the hooked extension 8e and thus fasten it.
[0055] The fence post 1 preferably has a cap 9. The cap 9 is preferably arranged on the upper tubular element end 4b. The cap 9 is preferably placed onto the upper tubular element end 4b. The cap 9 is preferably fixed to the upper tubular element end 4b of the tubular element 4 by a clamping force. The cap 9 preferably covers the entire upper tubular element end 4b by enclosing the tubular element end 4b. This means that the cap 9 has an inner recess 9a into which the tubular element 4 is inserted with its upper tubular element end 4b. In this way, the cap 9 encloses the entire cut surface of the upper tubular element end 4b, which is arranged perpendicular to the tubular element longitudinal axis L. At the cut surface, the individual tubular elements 4 are separated from one another from an endless tubular element. The cap 9 preferably has a second recess 9b.This second recess 9b is preferably arranged on the opposite side of the first recess 9a, in other words, on the top of the cap. A cord, a fence tape, or a fence net 3 can be suspended in this second recess 9b. For this purpose, the second recess 9b has a narrow opening extending across the entire diameter of the top of the cap. The second recess continues along the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element toward the underside of the cap, widening transversely to the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element.
[0056] Figure 4 shows a sectional view of the fence post 1 with a section plane BB (cf. Fig. 3) perpendicular to the tubular element longitudinal axis L, including an enlarged view of a portion of the layered structure 5, once along the section plane BB and once in perspective. The tubular element 4 has a layered structure 5. The layered structure 5 preferably comprises an inner layer 5a and an outer layer 5b. The inner layer 5a is arranged towards the interior 6 of the tubular element 4, viewed in the radial direction R of the tubular element 4. The outer layer 5b is arranged on the outside of the tubular element 4, viewed in the radial direction R. In other words, the inner layer 5a represents the inner surface 4c of the tubular element 4, which faces the interior 6. The outer layer 5b represents the outer surface 4d of the tubular element 4 facing the environment U.The inner layer 5a and the outer layer 5b have a common interface 5c, at which they are arranged flat against each other.
[0057] The wall thickness of the inner layer 5a, measured in the radial direction R, is preferably greater than the wall thickness of the outer layer 5b. The wall thickness of the inner layer 5a is preferably 1 to 2 mm. The wall thickness of the outer layer 5b is preferably 0.1-0.3 mm, particularly preferably 0.2 mm. This results in a preferred total wall thickness of the layered structure 5 of 1.1 to 2.3 mm. The diameter of the tubular element 4 is preferably between 14 and 25 mm. The diameter of the tubular element 4 is particularly preferably 14.4 mm, 19 mm, or 22 mm.
[0058] The enlarged view of the partial area of the cut surface BB shows the exact structure of the inner layer 5a and the outer layer 5b. The outer layer 5b consists of at least one thermoplastic, preferably polyamide. The inner layer 5a comprises a matrix 7a which consists of a thermoplastic. The thermoplastic is preferably polyamide. The inner layer 5a represents a composite material 7 which, in addition to the matrix 7a, comprises reinforcing fibers 7b. The reinforcing fibers 7b are embedded in the matrix 7a and are completely enclosed by it. The matrix 7a preferably consists of polyamide 6 (PA6). The reinforcing fibers 7b are preferably glass fibers, particularly preferably continuous glass fibers. The reinforcing fibers 7b are preferably aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element.Preferably, the continuous fibers run parallel to the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element over the entire length of the tubular element 4 in the inner layer 5a, i.e. from the upper tubular element end 4b to the lower tubular element end 4a. The orientation of the reinforcing fibers 7b can be clearly seen in the perspective view of the enlarged partial area. The reinforcing fibers 7b run with their longitudinal axis FL parallel to the tubular element longitudinal axis L. The reinforcing fibers 7b are embedded in the inner layer 5a. The outer layer 5b adjoins the outer layer 5a, viewed in the radial direction R. It runs flat and parallel to the inner layer 5a. The inner layer 5a and the outer layer 5b form a common interface 5c. The outer layer 5b thus represents a coating of the outer surface 5c of the inner layer 5a of the tubular element 4.
[0059] Figure 5 shows a representation of the fence post 1 in the embodiment with various fastening means 10. Figures 5a, 5b and 5c show various embodiments of the fastening means 10 and the fence post 1. Figure 5a shows a fence post 1 with a section of the tubular element 4. In this embodiment, the tubular element 4 has fastening means 10 in the embodiment as a hook. In this case, the hooks have a hook element 10b, which is designed as a hook-shaped extension. The hook-shaped extension 10b is designed as an upwardly curved extension of the tubular element 4. The hook can, on the one hand, be formed directly when the outer layer 5b is applied to the inner layer 5a. This has the disadvantage that if the positioning, shape or number of hooks changes, a different mold is required when manufacturing the tubular element 4.By using a thermoplastic material for the outer layer 5b and the matrix 7a of the composite material 7 of the inner layer 5a, it is possible to subsequently heat-form the material of the tubular element 4 after production. This opens up the possibility of forming the fastening means 10 from the material of the tubular element 4 in a subsequent forming process. In particular, it would also be conceivable to form the hooks one after the other along the tubular element's longitudinal axis L on the tubular element 4. In this case, only one mold would be required to form the hook, so that the number and spacing of the individual fastening means 10 can be freely selected without the need for a new forming tool.
[0060] Preferably, the tubular element 4 has a plurality of fastening means 10. These are preferably arranged at equal intervals along the tubular element's longitudinal axis L on the outer surface of the tubular element 4. The spacing of the fastening means 10 is preferably adapted to a mesh size of the fence net 3.
[0061] Figure 5b shows an embodiment of the fastening means 10 as a clip. The clip is arranged circumferentially around the tubular element 4. The clip preferably has a ring element 10a, which is arranged circumferentially around the tubular element 4 and at least partially encloses it along its circumference. The ring element 10a of the fastening means 10 preferably only partially encloses the tubular element 4. This means that the ring element 10a has an opening along its circumference through which the ring element 10a can be pushed onto the tubular element 4 by bending it open. The ring element 10a can preferably also be removed from the tubular element 4 again. Removal is also carried out by bending the ring element 10a in the circumferential direction and pulling the ring element 10a off the tubular element 4.The pulling off or pushing of the ring element 10a onto the pipe element 4 can take place perpendicular to the pipe element longitudinal axis L or also in a movement along the pipe element longitudinal axis, wherein in the latter case the ring element 10a is pushed on or pulled off over one of the pipe element ends 4a or 4b.
[0062] Figure 5c shows an embodiment of the tubular element 4 with recesses 20. Preferably, the fastening means 10 can be arranged in the recesses 20. The recesses 20 are designed as circumferential tapers of the tubular element 4. The recesses 20 thus represent preferred locking positions for the fastening means 10. Preferably, the extent of the circumferential recess 20, viewed along the tubular element longitudinal axis L, is equal to the extent of the fastening means. Preferably, the recess 20 is combined with the embodiment of the fastening means 10 as a clip. In this case, the ring element 10a can slide into the circumferential recess 20 on the tubular element 4 and thus finds a defined preferred position. By evenly spacing several recesses along the tubular element 4, several preferred positions for the fastening means 10 can be defined.Preferably, the distances between the individual recesses 20 along the longitudinal axis L of the tubular element, and thus the distances of the later positioned fastening means 10, are adapted to a mesh size of the fence net 3.
[0063] With the recesses 20, it is also possible, on the one hand, to form them directly into the pipe element 4 during the application of the outer layer 5b of the layer structure 5. By using the thermoplastic material as the material of the outer layer 5b, it is advantageously also possible to form the recesses 20 in a subsequent process step by subsequently forming the thermoplastic material.
[0064] Figure 6 shows a representation of the fence post 1 in the embodiment with lighting device 11. The lighting device 11 is arranged in the interior 6 of the tubular element 4. The tubular element 4 is at least partially transparent or translucent, i.e., light-permeable. This means that the light emitted by the lighting device 11 from the interior 6 is at least partially transmitted through the inner layer 5a and the outer layer 5b. The tubular element 4 with the inner layer 5a and the outer layer 5b is preferably designed to be transparent. In this case, the greatest possible proportion of the light emitted by the lighting device 11 can be transmitted through the tubular element 4 and thus reach the environment U. This arrangement of the lighting device 11 in the interior 6 of the fence post 1 makes it possible to actively illuminate the fence post 1.
[0065] The lighting device 11 preferably extends over the entire length of the tubular element 4. In this way, the entire fence post 1 can be actively illuminated along its entire length. It is also conceivable for the tubular element 4 to be colored, while at the same time being at least partially transparent or translucent. In this way, white light emitted by the lighting device 11 can be converted into colored light by transmission through the colored material of the tubular element 4. This means that the transmission through the tubular element 4 is wavelength-selective. Thus, only light waves of certain wavelengths are transmitted, while other light wavelengths are absorbed or reflected. In this way, colored light can be generated from white light of the lighting device 11. The pigment is preferably arranged only in the outer layer 5b of the tubular element 4.This has the advantage that the outer layer 5b is comparatively thin, and thus a small amount of pigment is sufficient to completely color the tubular element 4. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the lighting device 11 itself emits colored light.
[0066] The lighting device 11 is preferably elongated. The lighting device preferably has a diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the tubular element 4.
[0067] Figure 7 shows an illustration of an embodiment of the cap 9 with the lighting device 11 arranged thereon. In this embodiment, the lighting device 11 is fastened to the cap 9. The cap 9 has a fastening means 9c to which the lighting device 11 is fastened. For the sake of clarity, the fastening means 9c is shown as a hook in Figure 7. However, the fastening means 9c is preferably designed as a clamping element. Any other fastening means can also be combined with this embodiment. The fastening means 9c is preferably arranged in the first recess 9a of the cap 9. The fastening means 9c is preferably arranged in the first recess 9a in such a way that, when the cap 9 is arranged on the tubular element end 4b, it projects into the interior 6 of the tubular element 4. For this purpose, the fastening means 9c is preferably arranged on a surface section 9e of the recess 9a running perpendicular to the tubular element longitudinal axis L.Preferably, this horizontally extending surface section 9e is arranged in the rotationally symmetrical center Z of the cap 9. Due to this arrangement, the lighting device 11 attached to the cap 9 is automatically arranged in the interior 6 of the tubular element 4 when the cap 9 is arranged on the tubular element 4. By pulling the cap 9 off the tubular element end 4b, the lighting device 11 can be easily removed from the interior 6 of the tubular element 4.
