Description

[0001] INNOVATION IN A CARTRIDGE CARRYING APPARATUS

[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to a cartridge carrying apparatus to be used in the sorting and / or transportation of at least one nucleic acid isolation cartridge, which is used to separate nucleic acids from cells in the isolation device, and in which the chemical or biological fluid material that will be subjected to measurement and / or separation processes is provided.

[0004] State of the Art

[0005] Today, various measuring and analysis devices are used to apply various processes such as measuring, mixing and magnetizing reactive materials in laboratories. Placing reactive materials or mixtures into said measurement and analysis devices or removing them out is performed by means of carrier apparatus called reagent cartridges. Reagent cartridges comprise multiple slots of equal or different sizes, and said reagents are placed in these slots. Cartridges comprising reagents are placed in cartridge holders or special carrier sections within the device and subjected to the mentioned processes. However, when processing more than one reagent sample, many reagent cartridges must be placed in the measurement and analysis device. While each cartridge is filled one by one and placed into the device, the user must put his / her hands in and out of the device many times. This causes the cartridge loading process to take a long time and poses risks of double-sided contamination, such as loss of purity of the reagent material and infection of the user. In addition, during the repetitive process of loading cartridges into the device and removing cartridges from the device, the risk of the user making mistakes increases, which may lead to negative situations such as incorrect placement of cartridges and incorrect results.

[0006] In the present application, the placement problem of sample working cartridges in nucleic acid isolation devices is encountered. When structures that allow more than one sample working cartridge to be positioned together are placed in the nucleic acid isolation devices for separation, it is necessary to work with a certain number of sample working cartridges due to the inability to use the space efficiently. Placing the sample working cartridges one by one on the frame or stands in the nucleic acid isolation device takes time and creates an ergonomic difficulty for the user.

[0007] The sample working cartridges are separated from the frame and the sample spills, causing contamination.

[0008] As a result, it has become necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field due to the negativities described above and the inadequacy of existing solutions on the subject.

[0009] Object of the Invention

[0010] The invention is inspired by current situations and aims to solve the above-mentioned deficiencies.

[0011] The main object of the invention is that it comprises at least one holder to which the nucleic acid isolation cartridge is connected, a cartridge shelf provided in a structure that allows the nucleic acid isolation cartridge provided in said holder to be transferred and positioned in the isolation device, at least one isolation kit stand to which said cartridge shelf is detachably connected, at least one channel that allows the nucleic acid isolation cartridge to be detachably connected to the holder and by means of the flexibility of the convex structure of the holder, it is configured to separate the nucleic acid isolation cartridge from the channel and associate it with the cartridge shelf provided on the isolation kit stand. Thus, it is possible to arrange, sort and place multiple nucleic acid isolation cartridges into the isolation device by moving them to the cartridge shelf.

[0012] Another object of the invention is to provide multiple numbers one after the other near the parallel long edges of said channel holder. In this way, it is ensured that each nucleic acid isolation cartridge is fixed to the holder.

[0013] Another object of the invention is that said isolation kit stand comprises at least one foot. Thus, it is possible to operate the cartridge shelf in a structure similar to a display area.

[0014] Another object of the invention is to connect the cartridge shelf to the isolation kit stand in a modular manner by connecting it to the foot through at least one positioning hole. Thus, it is possible to place multiple nucleic acid isolation cartridges provided in the cartridge shelf into the isolation device. Another object of the invention is to include a protrusion provided at the foot to restrict the axial movement of the cartridge shelf. Thus, it is ensured that the cartridge shelf is mounted steadily.

[0015] Another object of the invention is to associate the cartridge shelf with at least one alignment element provided on the foot. Thus, controlled freedom is provided during the disassembly and assembly of the cartridge shelf.

[0016] The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the drawings given below and the detailed description written with references to these drawings, and therefore the evaluation needs to be made by taking these drawings and the detailed description into consideration.
