[0001] The present invention relates to a brushing device and a method for manufacturing an artificial hair bundle.
[0002] Conventionally, natural hair has been reproduced by bundling hair of the same length and brushing the bundle to shift the ends of the hair (see, for example, Patent Document 1). For example, in the hair transplantation method of Patent Document 1, an operator bundles hair cut to the same length into a bundle, and then manually brushes the bundle using a hair combing machine to shift the ends of the hair.

The brushing operation of this embodiment involves a first combing operation in which the position adjustment step, the holding step, and the combing step are performed in this order, and further involves alternately performing one or more times, after the first combing operation, a second combing operation in which the mixing step, the combing step, and the holding step are performed in this order, and a third combing operation in which the moving step, the holding step, and the combing step are performed in this order. After the first combing operation, the second or third combing operation may be performed. The number of times of the second combing operation and the third combing operation is not particularly limited, but is preferably 2 to 10 times.

In the combing step of this embodiment, the power sources 35 of the brushing units 10, 11 are driven simultaneously, so that the gear portions 30a, 30b, 31a, 31b rotate at the same speed, and the respective chain portions 32a, 32b move in the direction in which they move. Therefore, both end sides of the hair bundle 100 are brushed simultaneously with the same force.

1. A brushing device that shifts the position of the ends of a hair bundle, comprising: a first support part that has a plurality of first protrusions and that inserts the plurality of first protrusions into gaps between the hairs that make up the hair bundle, and supports one end side of the hair bundle in a planar manner while the hair bundle is spread out in the width direction; and a first moving means that moves the first support part in the longitudinal direction of the hair bundle so that the first protrusions move from the center of the hair bundle beyond one end.
