[0005] Today, an individual can have their pets insured. However, it is not available to determine a pet insurance premium by taking into account the factors affecting the insurance premium of pets in the form of the location where the house is located, the floor on which the house is located, whether the house has a yard or not, the size of the living space, other pets living inside the house, the types of animals outside the house, the pet care experience of the person taking care of the pet, whether the pet is only at home or whether it also goes outside or not, whether there are elements that put the life of the animal living in the house at risk or not, other pets or stray animals in the area depending on the location of the house, the presence of sharp objects in the house.
[0006] For this reason, considering the studies and deficiencies included in the current technique, it is understood that there is a need for a system which enables the determination of the new insurance premium that will be offered to users by taking into account the location of the house and the risk rates of disease transmission to the pet of the user by pets or stray animals in the area, which are among the factors that will affect the insurance premium in the pet insurance that pet owner customers will make for their pets.

JP2017224188, an application included in the state of the art, discloses a system for supporting taking out insurance for rearing animal, rearing support system and program. In the said invention, it is aimed to provide an insurance support system that can accurately notify the owner of the insurance period according to the characteristics of the rearing animal. A system for supporting taking out of an insurance for a pet comprises: an insurance taking out support part having a server and a database; a portable terminal; and a communication network. The insurance taking out support part comprises: a basic information reception part; a disease probability calculation part; a taking out period determination part; and a taking out period transmission part. The basic information reception part receives basic information from the portable terminal. The disease probability calculation part calculates a disease probability, based on the basic information, and comprises an information storage part for every breed, an information storage part for every age in the database, and disease information of an information storage part for every rearing environment. The taking out period determination part determines a taking out period of the insurance, based on the disease probability. The taking out period transmission part sends the determination result to the portable terminal.

[0025] In the inventive system (1), it is enabled to calculate a risk rate and determine a pet insurance premium for pets of an individual based on the location where the house is located, whether the house has a yard or not, what floor the house is located on, the furniture in the house or whether any other pets live in the house or not, the size of the living space in the house, how long the pet owner has been looking after the pet, whether there is another pet living in the house or not, whether the pet goes outside or not, and the contact with other animals living around / outside the house. Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive “A Pet Insurance System (1)”; the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
Claims
CLAIMS1. A system (1) developed with the aim of enabling a pet insurance to be offered; comprising at least one electronic device (2) which is configured to exchange data by using any remote communication protocol and to run at least one application thereon; at least one application (3) which is configured to be run on the electronic device (2); to enable the information on the environment in which the pets live and the animals they come into contact with to be entered; and to enable the offered insurance premiums and offers to be displayed; at least one database (4) which is configured to keep a record of the data of the pet, the location of the house where the pet lives, the diseases that the pet has, the stray animals in the vicinity of the house where the pet lives and the diseases that the stray animals have had therein; and characterized by at least one server (5) which is configured to establish connection with the electronic device (2) by using any communication protocol and to establish communication with the application (3) run on the electronic device (2) through this established connection; to perform insurance risk calculation and to generate insurance premiums with artificial intelligence algorithms over the information on the environment in which the pets live and the animals they come into contact with that it accesses through the database (4).

A system (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is a device in the form of a cell phone, tablet computer, desktop computer and / or portable computer; and is configured to exchange data byusing any remote communication protocol and to run at least one application thereon.
3. A system (1) according to Claim 1 or 2; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is configured to run the application (3) thereon.
4. A system (1) according to Claim 3; characterized by the electronic device (2) which is configured to establish connection with the server (5) by using any remote communication protocol.
5. A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to be run on the electronic device (2).

A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to enable users to enter, at least on an interface, the location information of the house where their pet is located, information on whether the house has a yard or not, information on what floor the house is located on, information on the furniture in the house or whether any other pets live in the house or not, information on the size of the living space in the house, information on how long the pet owner has been looking after the pet, information on whether there is another pet living in the house or not, information on whether the pet goes outside or not, and information on the contact with other animals living around / outside the house.
7. A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the application (3) which is configured to enable users to view the offered insurance premium and offers on at least one interface.
8. A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the database (4) which is configured to establish connection with the server (5).

A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the database (4) which is configured to keep a record of the data of the user, the data of the pet of the user, the location of the house where the pet of the user lives, the diseases that the pet of the user has, the stray animals near the house where the pet of the user lives and the diseases that the stray animals have had therein.

A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to establish connection with the electronic device (2) by using any communication protocol and to establish communication with the application (3) run on the electronic device (2) through this established connection.
11. A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to access data on the database (4) and to save data on the database (4).

A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to access the location information of the house where the pet is located, information on whether the house has a yard or not, information on what floor the house is located on, information on the furniture in the house or whether any other pets live in the house or not, information on the size of the living space in the house, information on how long the pet owner has been looking after the pet, information on whether there is another pet living in the house or not, information on whether the pet goes outside or not, and information on the contact with other animals living around / outside the house through the database (4) andto perform insurance risk calculation and to generate insurance premiums with artificial intelligence algorithms through this information.

A system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the server (5) which is configured to enable the monitoring of the diseases, if any, and the calculation of the transmission rates of the determined animals according to whether the pet of the person who will take out insurance lives with other animals at home or not, and if so, according to the species and number of pets they live with, and to include this rate in the insurance risk calculation.
