[0037] Because they need to achieve both sealing functions and form a sliding connection, existing sealing strips have an overly complex configuration, which indirectly increases vehicle production costs and causes a complex matching structure between the door sheet metal parts and the side window glass of the flush door structure, making the side window glass difficult to install.
[0038] In view of this, the embodiments of the present application provide a flush door structure, a door assembly, and a vehicle. The embodiments of the present application are described in detail below.
[0039] Example 1.
[0040] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this embodiment provides a vehicle. The vehicle includes a door assembly located at the left front portion. The door assembly adopts a flush door structure and includes a door sheet metal 1, a B-pillar trim 2, a side window glass 3, and a clamping block 4. The clamping block 4 is fixed to the door sheet metal 1. The side window glass 3 includes a glass body 30 and a mating block 31 fixed to the surface of the glass body 30 facing the interior of the vehicle. The mating block 31 is provided with a slot 311 with an opening facing the door sheet metal 1. The clamping block 4 extends into the slot 311, thereby forming a clamping connection with the mating block 31 in the front-to-back and left-to-right directions, and is slidably connected to the mating block 31 in the up-down direction, so that the side window glass 3 can slide up and down relative to the door sheet metal 1.
[0041] As described above, there is a gap 5 between the side window glass 3 and the B-pillar trim 2. The B-pillar trim 2 includes an inner panel 21 and a first sealing strip 22 fixedly connected to the inner panel 21. A portion of the first sealing strip 22 extends to the side of the inner panel 21 close to the glass body 30 (for example, extends between the inner panel 21 and the side window glass 3), and this portion of the first sealing strip 22 abuts against the side window glass 3 and blocks the gap 5. In addition, the flush door structure also includes a second sealing strip 6, which is arranged on the side of the card block 4 away from the B-pillar trim 2 (for example, arranged in front of the card block 4 and the mating block 31). The second sealing strip 6 is fixedly connected to the door sheet metal 1 and abuts against the surface of the side window glass 3 facing the interior of the vehicle. The second sealing strip 6 also blocks the space between the door sheet metal 1 and the side window glass 3.
[0042] As can be seen from the above description, the flush-type door structure provided in this embodiment utilizes the mating block 31 and the latching block 4 to form a slidable connection between the side window glass 3 and the door sheet metal 1. Furthermore, given the design features of the latching slot 311 formed on the mating block 31 and opening toward the latching block 4, the first sealing strip 22 secured to the inner panel 21, the second sealing strip 6 secured to the door sheet metal 1, the first sealing strip 22 blocking the gap between the B-pillar trim 2 and the glass body 30, and the second sealing strip 6 blocking the gap between the door sheet metal 1 and the side window glass 3, it is readily apparent that when the flush-type door structure of this embodiment is assembled, the mating block 31 and the latching block 4 mate to simultaneously align the door sheet metal 1 and the second sealing strip 6 against the side window glass 3. Once the B-pillar trim 2 is installed, the first sealing strip 22 abuts the side window glass 3. Thus, in this embodiment, both the first sealing strip 22 and the second sealing strip 6 perform only sealing functions.
[0043] In summary, this embodiment utilizes two separate sealing strips (i.e., first sealing strip 22 and second sealing strip 6) and a clamping block 4 to achieve sealing and a slidable connection between the side window glass 3 and the door sheet metal component 1. Consequently, the flush door structure of this embodiment simplifies the design complexity of the sealing strips, indirectly reducing vehicle production costs. Furthermore, the door sheet metal component 1 and the side window glass 3 do not require an overly complex mating structure, making installation of the side window glass 3 easier.
[0044] For the above-mentioned vehicle, the following is a more detailed exemplary configuration.
[0045] Continuing with Figures 1 and 2 , the B-pillar trim 2 includes an exterior trim 23 and the aforementioned inner panel 21, arranged sequentially from the outside to the inside. The exterior trim 23 is secured to the outward-facing surface of the inner panel 21. When the side window glass 3 and the B-pillar trim 2 are assembled, the exterior trim 23 and the side window glass 3 appear flush. For example, in the left-right direction, the height difference (hereinafter referred to as "face difference") between the outer surface of the exterior trim 23 and the outer surface of the side window glass 3 is zero or nearly zero. Simultaneously, a portion of the first sealing strip 22 is sealed between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3, abutting both the exterior trim 23 and the side window glass 3.
[0046] More specifically, the first sealing strip 22 exemplarily comprises a connector 221 and a first lip 222. The connector 221 is L-shaped, with its opening facing rearward. It is integrally connected to the inward-facing surface of the inner panel 21 and wraps around the front end of the B-pillar trim 2. The connector 221 comprises a first portion extending in the front-to-back direction and a second portion extending in the left-to-right direction. The first portion is located on the right side of the inner panel 21. The second portion is integrally connected to the first portion and extends from the first portion to the front of the inner panel 21 and the exterior trim 23 (i.e., between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3). Mirroring the design of the connector 221, the first lip 222 is an arc-shaped body with its opening facing inward. The first lip 222 is located between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3 and is integrally connected to the second portion of the connector 221. The first lip 222 abuts against the glass body 30 at its front end and against the exterior trim 23 at its rear end, thereby blocking the space 5 between the B-pillar trim 2 and the glass body 30 .
[0047] Continuing with Figures 1 and 2 , the aforementioned second sealing strip 6 illustratively comprises a sealing body 61 and a second lip 62. The sealing body 61 is a shaped body that is fixedly attached to the outward-facing surface of the vehicle door sheet metal 1 by adhesive bonding. The sealing body 61 is provided with a slot 611 that opens away from the latch block 4 (e.g., faces forward). This slot 611 is designed to mate with (and thus provide a mounting point for) a door interior panel (not shown). In accordance with the design of the sealing body 61, two second lips 62 are provided in this embodiment. The two second lips 62 are spaced apart from each other on the outward-facing surface of the sealing body 61 and are formed by the sealing body 61 extending toward the vehicle exterior. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, when the flush door structure is assembled, the second lip 62 abuts against the surface of the side window glass 3 facing the interior of the vehicle, so that the second sealing strip 6 blocks the space between the side window glass 3 and the door sheet metal 1 in front of the clamping block 4 and the matching block 31, thereby achieving sealing.
[0048] It is understood that the connection method between the second sealing strip 6 and the door sheet metal 1 is not limited to the aforementioned bonding. In possible embodiments, the second sealing strip 6 and the door sheet metal 1 can be fixedly connected by means of snap-fitting, concave-convex fitting, interference fitting, etc.
[0049] Continuing with Figures 2 and 3, in a possible embodiment, the second sealing strip 6 is part of the door and window frame sealing strip. In addition to the second sealing strip 6, the door and window frame sealing strip also includes a solid body 7 for sealing the upper and front portions of the window. The solid body 7 is fixedly connected to the door sheet metal 1 through a snap-fit, a concave-convex fit, an interference fit, or other fastening methods. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the second sealing strip 6 is located at the rear end of the door and window frame sealing strip, extending downward from the rear end of the solid body 7.
[0050] Based on the above, in a possible embodiment, the assembly order of the vehicle door sheet metal 1, the clamping block 4 and the vehicle door window frame sealing strip can be: the clamping block 4 is first fixed to the vehicle door sheet metal 1, and then the vehicle door window frame sealing strip is fixedly connected to the vehicle door sheet metal 1.
[0051] Please return to refer to Figures 1 and 2. The matching block 31 exemplarily includes a block body 312 and an abutment arm 313. The block body 312 is roughly Y-shaped. The block body 312 is fixedly connected to the surface of the glass body 30 facing the interior of the vehicle by bonding. The block body 312 is provided with the aforementioned card slot 311, and a first protrusion 314 and a second protrusion 315 are respectively provided on the two inner walls on the opposite sides of the card slot 311. The first protrusion 314 and the second protrusion 315 are used to hook with different positions of the card block 4 on the opposite sides of the card block 4 to form a card connection between the card block 4 and the matching block 31 in the left and right directions, so that after the card block 4 is inserted into the card slot 311, it cannot be easily removed from the matching block 31 in the left and right directions. In addition, there are two ends separated from each other on the right side of the Y-shaped block body 312 to form the opening of the aforementioned card slot 311, and the two ends are respectively connected to the abutment arm 313 as a whole.
[0052] In this embodiment, the design of the abutting arm 313 is as follows.
[0053] The abutment arm 313 is located to the right of the first and second protrusions 314 and 315 and is a resilient, non-uniform body. One end of the abutment arm 313 is integrally connected to the block body 312, while the other end of the abutment arm 313 extends from this end toward the inside of the slot 311. In other words, the abutment arm 313 pivots from this end and extends toward the inside of the slot 311. The abutment arm 313 is designed to abut the block 4, applying a force toward the inside of the vehicle. This forces the block 4, once engaged in the slot 311, to engage with the first and second protrusions 314 and 315.
[0054] As shown in FIG4 , the abutting arm 313 includes a body portion 3131 and a head portion 3132, which are integrally connected. The body portion 3131 is integrally connected to the block body 312, and the end portion of the body portion 3131 integrally connected to the block body 312 is the thickest part of the body portion 3131. Except for the end portion integrally connected to the block body 312, the rest of the body portion 3131 is designed to be relatively thin. Correspondingly, the head portion 3132 is designed to be thicker than the rest of the body portion 3131.
[0055] Based on the aforementioned design of the body 3131 and the head 3132, it can be seen that as the abutting arm 313 is farther away from the connection point with the block body 312, the thickness of the abutting arm 313 has the characteristic of first becoming smaller and then becoming larger. This characteristic makes the abutting arm 313 have a shape that is thick at both ends and thin in the middle.
[0056] As mentioned above, in this embodiment, the end portion of the abutting arm 313 integrally connected to the block body 312 is thicker to ensure a secure connection between the abutting arm 313 and the block body 312. The middle portion of the abutting arm 313 is thinner to ensure that the abutting arm 313 can more easily undergo elastic deformation under the pressure of the clamping block 4. The head portion 3132 of the abutting arm 313 is thicker to ensure that, combined with the thicker end portion of the abutting arm 313 connecting to the block body 312, the abutting arm 313 has considerable elasticity, thereby ensuring that the abutting arm 313 can better apply force to the clamping block 4.
[0057] It is understood that, in a possible embodiment, the block body 312 and the abutting arm 313 are made of different materials and are connected as one piece by two-color injection molding. For example, the block body 312 can be a polyoxymethylene (POM) product, and the abutting arm 313 can be a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) product. To further illustrate that the abutting arm 313 and the block body 312 are made of different materials, the dividing line between the abutting arm 313 and the block body 312 is indicated by a solid line in FIG4 (see the arrow). It is also understood that, in a possible embodiment, the first sealing strip 22 can also be fixedly connected to the inner plate body 21 by bonding.
[0058] Continuing to refer to Figures 1 and 2, corresponding to the aforementioned block body 312 and abutting arm 313, the clamping block 4 illustratively includes a fixing body 41 and a hooking body 42. The fixing body 41 is T-shaped, and a fixing member 1, such as a bolt, penetrates through the fixing body 41 and the fixing body 41 to secure the clamping block 4 to the door sheet metal 1. The hooking body 42 is an elongated body extending leftward from the fixing body 41. The left end of the hooking body 42 mimics the shape of the left end of the clamping slot 311 and is provided with two grooves for respectively interlocking with the first protrusion 314 and the second protrusion 315. When the clamping block 4 is mated with the mating block 31, based on the mimicking relationship between the clamping slot 311 and the clamping block 4, and the interlocking relationship between the hooking body 42 and the first protrusion 314 and the second protrusion 315, the clamping block 4 and the mating block 31 are connected in the front-to-back and left-to-right directions, and are slidably connected in the up-down direction.
[0059] Continuing to refer to Figures 1 and 2, in addition to the aforementioned block body 312 and abutment arm 313, the mating block 31 also illustratively includes a functional tongue 316. The functional tongue 316 is strip-shaped and extends from the block body 312 toward the B-pillar trim 2. Specifically, the functional tongue 316 extends rearward from the rear surface of the block body 312. When the flush door structure is assembled, the functional tongue 316 passes over the gap 5 between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3, extending to the inner side (right side) of the B-pillar trim 2 and spaced apart from the B-pillar trim 2. The provision of the functional tongue 316 coordinates with the connection between the block body 312 and the latch 4 to limit the leftward movement of the side window glass 3. More specifically, when the vehicle is driving or the door is opened or closed, the side window glass 3 will experience slight left-right movement (or vibration, swing) due to the clearance between the side window glass 3 and surrounding parts. After the functional tongue 316 is provided, when the side window glass 3 moves to the left (i.e., toward the vehicle's exterior), the functional tongue 316 contacts the connector 221 of the B-pillar trim 2 and is blocked by the connector 221, thereby restricting its movement. Consequently, the leftward movement of the side window glass 3 is also restricted. Correspondingly, when the side window glass 3 moves to the right (i.e., toward the vehicle's interior), the engagement between the latch block 4 and the latch slot 311 restricts the rightward movement of the side window glass 3.
[0060] Based on the above, in a possible implementation manner, the assembly process of the flush door structure in this embodiment may include steps S1 to S5.
[0061] In step S1 , a clamping block 4 is fixed to the vehicle door sheet metal component 1 .
[0062] In step S2 , the door window frame sealing strip is installed on the door sheet metal component 1 .
[0063] In step S3 , the side window glass 3 is installed.
[0064] In step S4 , the B-pillar trim 2 is installed.
[0065] In step S5 , the door interior panel is installed.
[0066] Example 2.
[0067] This embodiment also provides a vehicle, which includes a door assembly located at the left front portion, the door assembly adopting a flush door structure, and the flush door structure basically adopts the structure and design as described in the first embodiment.
[0068] The difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is that, as shown in FIG5 , the flush-type door structure of this embodiment includes a third sealing strip 8 connected to the door sheet metal 1, and a protrusion 24 extending rightward from the right surface of the inner panel 21. The protrusion 24 is located on the same side as the mating block 31 and the first sealing strip 22, and is spaced apart from both the first sealing strip 22 and the mating block 31. Accordingly, the third sealing strip 8 is convex and located behind the retaining block 4 and the mating block 31. After the flush-type door structure is assembled, the B-pillar trim 2 is pressed against the third sealing strip 8. The larger end of the third sealing strip 8 is where it contacts (or is in close contact with) the door sheet metal 1, and a portion of the larger end of the third sealing strip 8 extends to the right of the functional tongue 316 and the protrusion 24, abutting against the right surface of the protrusion 24. At the same time, the smaller end of the third sealing strip 8 extends between the first sealing strip 22 and the protruding foot 24, and is against the part of the inner plate body 21 in front of the protruding foot 24, the protruding foot 24 and the first sealing strip 22, and is also spaced apart from the functional tongue 316.
[0069] In this embodiment, after the flush door structure is assembled, the third sealing strip 8 seals the space between the door sheet metal 1 and the B-pillar trim 2. Thus, the second sealing strip 6 and the third sealing strip 8 are respectively provided on the front and rear sides of the mating block 31 and the clamping block 4. The second sealing strip 6, the third sealing strip 8, and the first sealing strip 22 cooperate with each other and surround the mating block 31 and the clamping block 4, forming a nearly surrounding sealing structure.
[0070] It should be noted that the purpose of the aforementioned "forming a nearly enclosing sealing structure" is to prevent water from entering the vehicle's dry area when, under certain circumstances, external water enters the area between the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8. More specifically, during car washing, due to the use of a high-pressure water gun, a small amount of water from the gun may penetrate the first sealing strip 22 or other vehicle structures (e.g., the side panel bright strip, not shown) and enter between the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8. Thus, when the flush-type door structure of this embodiment utilizes an enclosing sealing structure, this sealing structure ensures that water intruding into the side window glass 3 and the inner side of the B-pillar trim 2 is confined between the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8, preventing water from entering the vehicle's dry area (including but not limited to the front of the second sealing strip 6 and the rear of the third sealing strip 8). For ease of understanding, the possible flow direction of water from the water gun is indicated by arrows in FIG. 5 .
[0071] It is understood that, given that the larger end of the third sealing strip 8 is in close contact with the door sheet metal 1, the third sealing strip 8 does not necessarily need to abut against the protruding foot 24, the first sealing strip 22, and the inner panel 21 as described above. The protruding foot 24 is not necessarily required, and a portion of the third sealing strip 8 does not necessarily need to be inserted between the protruding foot 24 and the first sealing strip 22. For example, the protruding foot 24 may be omitted, and the third sealing strip 8 may abut against the B-pillar trim 2 in a manner similar to that of the second sealing strip 6. For another example, given that the larger end of the third sealing strip 8 is in close contact with the door sheet metal 1, when the third sealing strip 8 abuts against at least one of the protruding foot 24, the first sealing strip 22, and the inner panel 21, the third sealing strip 8 can form a sealing surface with at least one of these, thereby fulfilling the sealing function of the third sealing strip 8. In general, in a possible embodiment, whether the third sealing strip 8 abuts against the protruding foot 24 , the first sealing strip 22 , and the inner plate 21 can be flexibly determined by those skilled in the art as needed.
[0072] Referring to Figures 5 and 6 , in a possible embodiment, the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 are both part of the door and window frame sealing strip. In addition to the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8, the door and window frame sealing strip also includes a solid body 7 for sealing the upper and front portions of the vehicle window. In this embodiment, the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 are integrally formed with the solid body 7. Both the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 are located at the rear end of the door and window frame sealing strip, extending downward from the rear end of the solid body 7 and spaced apart from each other from front to back. It will be understood that the space between the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 is the space reserved to avoid the blocking block 4. It will also be understood that, depending on the specific needs of those skilled in the art, at least one of the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 may be part of the door and window frame sealing strip.
[0073] Based on the above, it should also be noted that, in a possible embodiment, the relationship between the door and window frame sealing strip and the door sheet metal 1 can be configured as follows. Solid body 7 is fixed to door sheet metal 1. Second sealing strip 6 is fixed to door sheet metal 1 by bonding or snapping. Third sealing strip 8 is merely affixed to and in contact with door sheet metal 1, but does not have a direct connection with door sheet metal 1. In this embodiment, third sealing strip 8 is equivalent to being attached to door sheet metal 1 by virtue of its connection with solid body 7, after the other parts of the door and window frame sealing strip are fully mated with door sheet metal 1. The reason for such a design is that when the shilling block 4 is fixed on the vehicle door sheet metal 1, the vehicle door window frame sealing strip is then installed on the vehicle door sheet metal 1, the side window glass 3 is then installed, the B-pillar trim 2 is then installed, and finally the vehicle door interior trim panel is installed, during the installation of the side window glass 3, the third sealing strip 8 will not become a structure that cannot be moved and thus hinders the installation of the side window glass 3 (or increases the difficulty of installing the side window glass 3).
[0074] In other words, when the side window glass 3 needs to be installed on the door sheet metal 1 with the door window frame sealing strip, the worker only needs to align the card slot 311 with the card block 4 so that the two are engaged, and the assembly of the rear end of the side window glass 3 can be completed. At the same time, if during the assembly process, it is felt that the gap reserved between the third sealing strip 8 and the functional tongue 316 is too narrow and hinders the installation of the side window glass 3, the worker can simply slightly open the third sealing strip 8 and then install the side window glass 3. After the installation of the side window glass 3 is completed, the third sealing strip 8 can be moved back. It should be noted that since the B-pillar trim 2 needs to be installed later, and the B-pillar trim 2 needs to be more precisely positioned because it needs to cooperate with other parts of the vehicle (including but not limited to the door sheet metal 1), and the third sealing strip 8 is configured to extend between the protruding foot 24 and the first sealing strip 22, there is no need to worry about whether the aforementioned worker's action of moving the third sealing strip 8 back is in place. Once the B-pillar trim panel 2 is installed, the coordination between the B-pillar trim panel 2 and the third sealing strip 8 naturally positions the third sealing strip 8 in the intended design. Furthermore, due to the design that the B-pillar trim panel 2 is pressed against the third sealing strip 8, once the B-pillar trim panel 2 is installed, the third sealing strip 8 remains firmly in the intended design position.
[0075] Of course, according to the specific needs of those skilled in the art, the third sealing strip 8 can also be connected to the vehicle door sheet metal part 1 by gluing, similar to the second sealing strip 6 .
[0076] It should also be noted that the reason this embodiment employs a spacing between the third sealing strip 8 and the functional tongue 316 is to reduce resistance to the vertical movement of the side window glass 3. However, while spacing between the third sealing strip 8 and the functional tongue 316 is possible to reduce resistance to the vertical movement of the side window glass 3, in a possible embodiment, based on the specific needs of those skilled in the art, and to ensure the sealing performance of the third sealing strip 8, a design in which the third sealing strip 8 and the functional tongue 316 are in contact or slightly abutting may also be employed. Because the third sealing strip 8 is relatively flexible before assembly of the B-pillar trim 2, even if the third sealing strip 8 and the functional tongue 316 are in contact or slightly abutting, it will not significantly increase the difficulty of assembling the flush door structure.
[0077] It can also be understood that, based on the arrangement in this embodiment where the third sealing strip 8 partially extends to the right side of the functional tongue 316, when the side window glass 3 moves to the left or right, the functional tongue 316 can restrict the left and right movement of the side window glass 3 by contacting the first sealing strip 22 or the third sealing strip 8.
[0078] Example 3.
[0079] This embodiment also provides a vehicle. The vehicle includes a door assembly located on the left front portion thereof. This door assembly utilizes a flush door structure, and the flush door structure partially utilizes the structure and design described in Example 2. As shown in Figures 7 and 8 , the differences between Example 3 and Example 2 include: the shape of the functional tongue 316, the relationship between the functional tongue 316 and the B-pillar trim 2, the shape of the second sealing strip 6, the relationship between the second sealing strip 6 and the door sheet metal 1, and the shape of the third sealing strip 8, the relationship between the third sealing strip 8 and the door sheet metal 1. These differences are described in detail below.
[0080] As shown in Figures 7 and 8 , the functional tongue 316 in this embodiment is configured so that it extends beyond the space 5 between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3, reaches the inner side (right side) of the B-pillar trim 2, and contacts the connector 221. Furthermore, a protrusion is provided at the rear end of the functional tongue 316. This protrusion serves as the contact point between the functional tongue 316 and the connector 221, making the contact between the functional tongue 316 and the connector 221 approximately point contact. It can be understood that, compared to the design of the functional tongue 316 spaced from the B-pillar trim 2 in the first embodiment, the contact between the functional tongue 316 and the B-pillar trim 2 in this embodiment enhances the effect of restricting the left and right movement of the side window glass 3. Furthermore, the protrusion contacts the connector 221, rather than the larger area of the non-functional tongue 316 in contact with the connector 221, to minimize resistance to the vertical movement of the side window glass 3 and minimize the friction area between the functional tongue 316 and the connector 221 during vertical movement. Of course, according to the specific needs of those skilled in the art, the functional tongue 316 can also be configured to be spaced apart from the B-pillar trim 2 .
[0081] Continuing with Figures 7 and 8 , this embodiment differs slightly from the second embodiment in that the third sealing strip 8 is a special shape, with a portion extending behind the protruding foot 24 and a portion extending to the right of the functional tongue 316. Furthermore, the third sealing strip 8 is provided with a groove 81 opening toward the B-pillar trim 2. This U-shaped groove 81 mates with the protruding foot 24, sandwiching the portion of the third sealing strip 8 located in front of the groove 81 between the first sealing strip 22 and the protruding foot 24. In one embodiment, the groove 81 and the protruding foot 24 have an interference fit.
[0082] Based on the above, in a possible embodiment, to facilitate the deformation of the third sealing strip 8, holes 9 are provided on the front and rear sides of the groove 81 of the third sealing strip 8, extending vertically through the third sealing strip 8. The purpose of providing these holes 9 is to reduce the deformation resistance of the third sealing strip 8. It is understood that because the deformation resistance of the third sealing strip 8 is reduced, the design of the holes 9 also indirectly facilitates the fit between the B-pillar trim 2 and the third sealing strip 8, namely, workers can more easily insert the protruding feet 24 into the groove 81.
[0083] Based on the above, in a possible embodiment, after the protruding foot 24 is matched with the groove 81, the inner plate 21 can be configured to be pressed onto the third sealing strip 8. That is, at this time, at least a portion of the left surface of the third sealing strip 8 abuts against the inner plate 21.
[0084] In a possible embodiment, the door and window frame sealing strip includes a second sealing strip 6 and a third sealing strip 8, as described in Example 2. When the door sheet metal component 1 with the door and window frame sealing strip, the side window glass 3, and the B-pillar trim 2 are fully assembled, the connector 221 is configured to abut against the functional tongue 316. At this point, the functional tongue 316 is positioned between the connector 221 and the third sealing strip 8, spaced apart from the third sealing strip 8. It will be appreciated that in a possible embodiment, when the functional tongue 316 moves rightward with the side window glass 3, to reduce the force exerted on the functional tongue 316 by the third sealing strip 8 and the deformation resistance of the third sealing strip 8, a hole 9 is further provided in the third sealing strip 8 on the right side of the functional tongue 316 in this embodiment.
[0085] Continuing with Figures 7 and 8 , unlike the second embodiment, in which the third sealing strip 8 was merely attached to the door sheet metal 1, the flush-type door structure provided in this embodiment also includes a guide member 10 for cooperating with the third sealing strip 8. This guide member 10 is a special-shaped member and is fixed to the door sheet metal 1 (e.g., by integral molding, adhesive bonding, welding, or other fixing methods). The third sealing strip 8 has a space for accommodating the guide member 10. Within this space, the third sealing strip 8 has a hooking lip 82 that protrudes toward the guide member 10. This hooking lip 82 hooks into a recessed portion of the guide member 10, creating a left-right engagement between the third sealing strip 8 and the guide member 10.
[0086] It is understood that the mating relationship between the third sealing strip 8 and the guide 10 is easily releasable. Therefore, when the third sealing strip 8 is part of the door frame's weather stripping, the mating relationship between the guide 10 and the third sealing strip 8 prevents the third sealing strip 8 from easily moving. Furthermore, if a worker feels that the third sealing strip 8 is interfering with the installation of the side window glass 3, they can simply release the mating relationship between the guide 10 and the third sealing strip 8, thereby allowing for smooth installation of the side window glass 3. Afterwards, the worker can re-engage the guide 10 and the third sealing strip 8 to accurately reposition the third sealing strip 8.
[0087] Continuing with Figures 7 and 8 , the configuration of the second sealing strip 6 in this embodiment essentially follows that of the second sealing strip 6 in Example 2. One difference between the second sealing strip 6 in this embodiment and that in Example 2 is that the second sealing strip 6 in this embodiment is not secured to the door sheet metal 1 by gluing or other means. Instead, it is secured to the door sheet metal 1 in a manner similar to that between the third sealing strip 8 and the guide 10. The flush door structure provided in this embodiment also includes a guide 10 for engaging with the second sealing strip 6. Behind this guide 10, the second sealing strip 6 is hooked to the guide 10, forming a left-right engagement.
[0088] As mentioned above, the second difference between the second sealing strip 6 of this embodiment and the second sealing strip 6 of the second embodiment is that the sealing body 61 is provided with a third lip 63 that extends toward the door sheet metal 1. The third lip 63 is an arc-shaped portion that forms a portion of the slot 611. The third lip 63 abuts against the door sheet metal 1.
[0089] As mentioned above, the third lip 63 of this embodiment is also located in front of the guide member 10 that mates with the second sealing strip 6, forming a space on the second sealing strip 6 for accommodating the guide member 10. The space on the second sealing strip 6 for accommodating the guide member 10 is slightly larger than the volume of the guide member 10. As can be understood, the second sealing strip 6 and its mateable guide member 10 form a releasable connection with the door sheet metal 1. This connection also allows the position of the second sealing strip 6 on the door sheet metal 1 to be fine-tuned by adjusting the depth of engagement between the guide member 10 and the second sealing strip 6. This allows workers to fine-tune the position of the second sealing strip 6 as needed to address production or assembly errors in other vehicle components, such as the door interior panel (which mates with the second sealing strip 6).
[0090] It can be understood that after the second sealing strip 6 is hooked with the guide member 10, the design of the third lip 63 abutting against the door sheet metal 1 and the design of the second lip 62 abutting against the surface of the side window glass 3 facing the interior of the vehicle can ensure the sealing performance of the second sealing strip 6.
[0091] It is understood that, to facilitate the cooperation of the guide member 10 with the second sealing strip 6, a hole 9 is also provided on the rear side of the guide member 10, extending vertically through the second sealing strip 6. It is also understood that, to facilitate the cooperation of the guide member 10 corresponding to the third sealing strip 8, a hole (not shown) may also be provided at a similar position on the third sealing strip 8.
[0092] It is also understood that, in a possible embodiment, the aforementioned guide members 10 corresponding to the second sealing strip 6 and the guide members 10 corresponding to the third sealing strip 8 may also serve as positioning members for the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8, ensuring their accurate positioning on the vehicle door sheet metal 1. In such an embodiment, whether the third lip 63 is required, and whether the second and third sealing strips 6 and 8 require additional connections to the vehicle door sheet metal 1 (e.g., adhesive bonding) in addition to their respective connections to the guide members 10, are all matters that can be flexibly designed by those skilled in the art as needed.
[0093] To sum up, the present application uses sealing strips (first sealing strip 22, second sealing strip 6) and clamping blocks 4 to respectively achieve sealing and form a sliding connection between the door sheet metal 1 and the side window glass 3, which can simplify the configuration complexity of the sealing strip, indirectly reduce the vehicle production cost, and eliminate overly complex matching structures between the door sheet metal 1 and the side window glass 3, making the side window glass 3 easier to install.
[0094] Furthermore, when the first sealing strip 22 is integrally formed with the inner panel 21, the only components required to achieve a flush appearance are the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3. In other words, to achieve a flush appearance, it is only necessary to control the surface difference between the B-pillar trim 2 and the side window glass 3. It is understandable that, since the number of components that need to be controlled is relatively small, achieving a flush design between the side window glass 3 and the B-pillar trim 2 is relatively easy for this application.
[0095] The above description is merely a specific embodiment of the present application, but the scope of protection of the present application is not limited thereto. Any changes or substitutions that can be easily conceived by a person skilled in the art within the technical scope disclosed in this application should be included in the scope of protection of this application. Therefore, the scope of protection of this application should be based on the scope of protection of the claims.
