Abstract
Description
Support information providing method, construction site support system and terminal device
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a support information providing method, a construction site support system, and a terminal device.
[0002] A technology has been disclosed for calculating electrical work costs by extracting and accumulating the names and numbers of electrical appliances from building design drawings (see Patent Document 1).
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2020-181405
[0004] The present disclosure aims to provide a support information providing method, a construction site support system, and a terminal device that can reduce the time required to pick up building material symbols.
[0005] One aspect of the support information providing method according to the present disclosure is a support information providing method in a construction site support system that is connected to a terminal device via a network and stores a construction floor plan including building material symbols, the method comprising: receiving a first instruction from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed, designating a portion of the construction floor plan as a first rectangular closed section; receiving a second instruction from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed, designating a portion of the construction floor plan as a second rectangular closed section; determining whether the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is included within the area of the first rectangular closed section; and if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is completely included within the area of the first rectangular closed section, determining that the second instruction is valid; and if it is determined that the second instruction is valid, managing a specific building material symbol included in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section as being included in the second rectangular closed section rather than the first rectangular closed section in the terminal device.
[0006] The present disclosure can be realized not only as the support information providing method, but also as a program for causing a computer to execute the support information providing method, and further as a computer-readable recording medium storing the program.
[0007] The support information providing method, construction site support system, and terminal device according to the present disclosure can reduce the time required to pick up building material symbols.

[0009] (Embodiment) Conventionally, workers visually check and pick out the building material symbols representing the target equipment, such as automatic fire alarms and wiring devices, from a construction floor plan, tally up the building material symbols for each target equipment, and then create an estimate.
[0010] A construction plan contains a huge number of building material symbols, with the number exceeding 100. Furthermore, the size of each symbol is small, so it is extremely inefficient and time-consuming for workers to manually select each symbol. This increases the man-hours required to create an estimate.
[0011] Under these circumstances, there is a need to reduce the time required for the pick-up work.
[0012] In order to make the picking work more efficient, it is conceivable to designate a desired section in a construction plan and carry out the picking work within that section.
[0013] Here, rooms and the like shown on construction floor plans are generally rectangular in shape, so it is convenient to specify an area using a rectangular closed section.
[0014] On the other hand, for example, in an apartment complex, the costs of construction equipment used in areas exclusive to each resident may be borne by the individual resident, while the costs of construction equipment used in shared areas that can be used by all residents may be borne by the entire apartment complex.
[0015] In this case, it may be difficult to distinguish and designate areas that are exclusive to each resident and areas that can be used by all residents in common using only rectangular closed sections. For example, there may be cases where an area exclusive to each resident, cut out by a rectangular closed section, structurally contains a shared section that can be used by all residents in common, such as an elevator.
[0016] Patent Document 1 also discloses a business that calculates electrical work costs by extracting (picking out) the names and quantities of electrical appliances from building design drawings provided by a customer and accumulating these. Patent Document 1 also points out the problem that in electrical work cost calculations, the work of picking out electrical appliance symbols and text must essentially be done manually, resulting in very low work efficiency. Patent Document 1 discloses a technology that extracts symbols similar to multiple symbols defined in a legend from the actual design drawings in image data by shifting a rectangular dot pattern of multiple symbols by one dot in a specified rectangular area and comparing it with the design drawing to calculate a correlation coefficient. Symbols whose correlation coefficient function calculated for each symbol exceeds a predetermined threshold and whose neighboring symbols do not exceed the predetermined threshold are extracted as correct. However, Patent Document 1 only extracts electrical appliance symbols and text, and further improvement is needed.
[0017] According to this aspect, when it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is specified within the area of the first rectangular closed section, the second instruction is determined to be valid. A specific building material symbol included in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section is treated as being included in the second rectangular closed section, not the first rectangular closed section.
[0018] In other words, if the second rectangular closed section is within the area of the first rectangular closed section, it can be strongly inferred that the second rectangular closed section was intentionally designated in that way, and therefore priority was given to the judgment that a specific building material symbol included in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section is included in the second rectangular closed section.
[0019] This makes it possible to separate areas dedicated to individual residents from shared areas that can be used by all residents, even in complex structures, while maintaining the convenience of specifying areas using rectangular closed sections.
[0020] As a result, a desired section in a construction plan can be appropriately specified using the simple method of specifying a rectangular closed section, which makes the subsequent process of identifying specific building material symbols more efficient and reduces the time required for identifying building material symbols.
[0021] In other words, a support information providing method (Technology 1) according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a support information providing method in a construction site support system that is connected to a terminal device via a network and stores a construction floor plan including building material symbols, and the method includes: receiving a first instruction from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed, designating a portion of the construction floor plan as a first rectangular closed section; receiving a second instruction from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed, designating a portion of the construction floor plan as a second rectangular closed section; determining whether the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is included within the area of the first rectangular closed section; and if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is completely included within the area of the first rectangular closed section, determining the second instruction to be valid; and if it is determined that the second instruction is valid, managing a specific building material symbol included in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section as being included in the second rectangular closed section rather than the first rectangular closed section in the terminal device.
[0022] This support information providing method presents the results of building material symbol extraction for each rectangular closed section specified by the user. Furthermore, if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is specified so that it is completely contained within the area of the first rectangular closed section, a specific building material symbol contained in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section is managed in the terminal device as being contained in the second rectangular closed section rather than the first rectangular closed section. Therefore, if it can be strongly inferred that the user intentionally specified the second rectangular closed section in this way, that specification takes precedence. This allows the user to reduce the time required to extract building material symbols.
[0023] Technique 2 is a method of providing support information of Technique 1, in which the first instruction and the second instruction are judged to be invalid if it is determined that the outer edge of the second rectangular closed area partially intersects with the outer edge of the first rectangular closed area.
[0024] In this support information providing method, when the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section are in a partially intersecting relationship, the user's instruction to designate the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section is determined to be invalid. Therefore, when there is a high possibility that the user has designated an incorrect rectangular closed section, the designation is invalidated, and it is possible to prevent the user from designating an incorrect rectangular closed section.
[0025] Technology 3 is a support information provision method according to Technology 1 or 2, in which the first rectangular closed section is a section dedicated to an individual resident of an apartment building, and the second rectangular closed section is a shared section that can be used in common by the individual residents of the apartment building.
[0026] According to this method for providing support information, when a user specifies a rectangular closed section, the user also sets the attributes of the rectangular closed section, which allows the user to distinguish between private and common areas when extracting building material symbols.
[0027] Technique 4 is the support information providing method according to any one of techniques 1 to 3, wherein the specific building material symbol indicates an automatic fire alarm.
[0028] In this support information providing method, when the building material symbol indicates an automatic fire alarm, the building material symbol is extracted for each rectangular closed section specified by the user, thereby reducing the time required for the user to extract the building material symbol indicating the automatic fire alarm.
[0029] Technique 5 is the support information providing method according to any one of techniques 1 to 4, wherein the specific building material symbol indicates a wiring device.
[0030] In this support information providing method, when the building material symbol indicates a wiring device, the building material symbol is extracted for each rectangular closed section specified by the user, thereby reducing the time required for the user to extract the building material symbol indicating the wiring device.
[0031] Furthermore, a construction site support system (Technology 6) according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a construction site support system that is connected to a terminal device via a network and stores a construction floor plan including building material symbols, and receives from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed a first instruction to designate a portion of the construction floor plan as a first rectangular closed section, receives from the terminal device on which the construction floor plan is displayed a second instruction to designate a portion of the construction floor plan as a second rectangular closed section, determines whether the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is included within the area of the first rectangular closed section, and if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is designated in a state where it is completely included within the area of the first rectangular closed section, determines that the second instruction is valid, and if it is determined that the second instruction is valid, causes the terminal device to manage a specific building material symbol included in both the first rectangular closed section and the second rectangular closed section as being included in the second rectangular closed section rather than the first rectangular closed section.
[0032] This construction site support system presents the results of building material symbol extraction for each rectangular closed section specified by the user. Furthermore, if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section is specified so that it is completely contained within the area of the first rectangular closed section, the terminal device manages the specific building material symbols contained in both the first and second rectangular closed sections as being contained in the second rectangular closed section rather than the first rectangular closed section. Therefore, if it can be strongly inferred that the user intentionally specified the second rectangular closed section, that specification takes priority. This allows the user to reduce the time required to extract building material symbols.
[0033] Furthermore, a terminal device (Technology 7) according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a terminal device in the construction site support system of Technology 6, which obtains information from the construction site support system that the specific building material symbol is included in the second rectangular closed area, and manages the specific building material symbol as being included in the second rectangular closed area.
[0034] Such a terminal device presents the results of picking out building material symbols for each rectangular closed section specified by the user, allowing the user to check the results of picking out building material symbols for each rectangular closed section specified using the terminal device.
[0035] (Embodiments) Hereinafter, embodiments of a support information providing method, a construction site support system, and a terminal device according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10. Note that each of the embodiments described below represents a preferred specific example of the present invention. The numerical values, components, component placement and connection configurations, steps, and step order shown in the following embodiments are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present invention. Furthermore, among the components in the following embodiments, components not recited in independent claims will be described as optional components constituting a preferred embodiment.
[0036] It should be noted that the drawings are schematic diagrams and are not necessarily strict illustrations. In addition, in the drawings, substantially the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and overlapping descriptions may be omitted or simplified.
[0037] [Configuration] First, a description will be given of the configuration of a construction site support system 10 according to an embodiment. Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing the functional configuration of a construction site support system 10 according to an embodiment.
[0038] The construction site support system 10 is a system that extracts the number and positions of building material symbols for each building material symbol based on the design drawings of a building and information indicating the type of building material symbol included in the design drawings. The construction site support system 10 includes a terminal device 20 and a server 30.
[0039] The terminal device 20 is, for example, an information terminal device such as a smartphone, tablet terminal, or personal computer used by a user. [0049] The information processing unit 32 performs information processing to support the work of picking out building material symbols included in design drawings and the work of checking whether there are any errors in the user's picking out work. The information processing unit 32 is realized, for example, by a microcomputer, but may also be realized by a processor. The functions of the information processing unit 32 are realized, for example, by the microcomputer or processor constituting the information processing unit 32 executing a computer program stored in the storage unit 33. [0053] The output unit 324 transmits the results of picking out the building material symbols obtained by the detection unit 322 and the control unit 323 to the terminal device 20.
[0054] The storage unit 33 is a storage device that stores the drawing information 41 acquired by the acquisition unit 321, the picking result information of the building material symbol picking executed by the detection unit 322, the computer program executed by the information processing unit 32, etc. The storage unit 33 may also store building material symbol information 43. The computer programs stored in the storage unit 33 include a dedicated application program that causes the information processing unit 32 to present the positions and numbers of building material symbols included in the design drawing. The storage unit 33 is realized, for example, by a semiconductor memory.
[0055] The drawing information 41 is information used in the construction of a building. The drawing information 41 includes design drawings and legend symbol information.
[0056] A design drawing is a floor plan used in the construction of a building. Design drawings are created, for example, using a CAD system. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a design drawing 41a according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 2, the design drawing 41a is a floor plan showing the floor plan of a building, the types of building material symbols 60 in the building, and the locations of construction equipment corresponding to the building material symbols 60. Locations where the same building material symbol 60 is drawn indicate that the same construction equipment will be placed. In FIG. 2, building material symbols 60a to 60f are building material symbols indicating automatic fire alarms. Note that a design drawing has multiple pages, and FIG. 2 shows one page of the design drawing. In a design drawing, for example, one floor of a building is illustrated on one page. In other words, multiple pages show the floor plan of each floor of the building and the location of construction equipment.
[0057] Legend symbol information is information indicating the type of building material symbol 60 included in the design drawing. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing legend symbol information 41b in the design drawing according to the embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, legend symbol information 41b is a list of the types of building material symbols 60 included in the design drawing shown in FIG. 2. In FIG. 3, building material symbols 60a to 60f are building material symbols indicating automatic fire alarms. For example, building material symbol 60c, which has a square with the letter "S" inside and a rectangle with its width in the longitudinal direction adjacent to the upper side of the square and "Ex" written in the lower right corner, is a building material symbol representing the wiring device for an automatic fire alarm with a "photoelectric spot-type detector, type 3, non-accumulating head" and a "quick-connect detector base with confirmation light (without connector)." Therefore, in the design drawing 41a, the location where building material symbol 60c is drawn indicates that a set of automatic fire alarms, which are ``photoelectric spot type detector, three-type head, non-accumulation type,'' and wiring equipment for an automatic fire alarm, which is ``quick-connect detector base with confirmation light (no connector),'' will be installed.
[0058] In addition, the legend symbol information 41b may include some types of building material symbols 60 included in the design drawings, or may include types of building material symbols 60 that are not included in the design drawings.
[0059] The picking result information is information indicating the picking results of the number and positions of building material symbols 60 included in the design drawing by the server 30. The picking result information includes position information and shape information of the markers. The picking result information is detected by the detection unit 322 and then stored in the memory unit 33.
[0060] The rectangular closed section information is information that indicates the position and type of the rectangular closed section specified by the user. The rectangular closed section information is input to the terminal device 20 and then stored in the storage unit 33 by the control unit 323.
[0061] Figure 4 is a diagram showing display information 42 in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. Figure 4(a) is a diagram showing position information of markers and rectangular closed sections in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. Figure 4(b) is a diagram showing shape information of markers and attributes of rectangular closed sections in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment.
[0062] As shown in (a) of FIG. 4, the position information of the marker and the rectangular closed section is information in which a "number," "page number," coordinates, and "classification" are associated with the marker attached to the building material symbol picked up by the construction site support system 10 and the rectangular closed section specified by the user. Hereinafter, the marker and the rectangular closed section are referred to as display data. The "number" is a number assigned to each piece of display data. Each piece of display data is assigned a unique number. The "page number" is the page number of the design drawing containing the display data. Generally, the same floor plan is drawn on the same page of a design drawing. In other words, display data with the same "page number" is on the same floor. "x," "y," "w," and "h" are information indicating the coordinates of the display data. "x" is the x-coordinate of the center point of the marker on the design drawing, "y" is the y-coordinate of the center point of the marker on the design drawing, "w" is the width of the marker's circumscribing rectangle in the x-axis direction, and "h" is the width of the marker's circumscribing rectangle in the y-axis direction. Note that the way in which the coordinates of the display data are expressed is merely an example and is not limited here. "Classification" is information indicating whether the display data is a marker or a rectangular closed section. That is, "Classification" of "marker" indicates that the display data is information about a marker, and "Classification" of "square" indicates that the display data is information about a rectangular closed section.
[0063] For example, display data having a "number" of "1" is included in the design drawing of the page having a "page number" of "002", and is shown to be a marker with a center point coordinate of "(80, 66)" and a width of "10" and a height of "10". Also, for example, display data having a "number" of "2" is included in the design drawing of the page having a "page number" of "002", and is shown to be a rectangular closed section with a center point coordinate of "(60, 40)" and a width of "60" and a height of "60".
[0064] As shown in (b) of Figure 4, the shape information of the marker and the attributes of the rectangular closed section are information in which a "number" and a "type" are associated with the marker attached to the building material symbol 60 picked up by the construction site support system 10 and the rectangular closed section specified by the user. "Type" indicates the shape of the marker corresponding to the picked-up building material symbol 60 and the attributes of the rectangular closed section specified by the user. The shape of the marker is the shape of the marker determined when the construction site support system 10 picks up the building material symbol 60. The fact that multiple markers have the same shape indicates that the construction site support system 10 has picked up the building material symbols 60 as the same. The attributes of the rectangular closed section are information set by the user. When counting the number of building material symbols 60, the construction site support system 10 counts the total number of markers included in rectangular closed sections with the same attribute.
[0065] For example, display data with a "number" of "1" has a "type" of "□" and is therefore indicated to be a marker with a "□" shape. Also, display data with a "number" of "2" has a "type" of "first type" and is therefore indicated to be a rectangular closed section with an attribute of "first type."
[0066] The construction site support system 10 performs picking of building material symbols 60 based on the drawing information 41 and outputs picking result information. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing picking legend symbol information 70 in the construction site support system 10 according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5, the picking legend symbol information 70 is information indicating the shape of the marker 61 associated with each building material symbol 60 included in the legend symbol information 41b. In other words, the picking legend symbol information 70 indicates the correspondence between the building material symbols 60 and the shapes of the markers 61. For example, the "marker shape" of the marker 61a associated with the building material symbol 60a indicating "Do not handle" is a "pentagon." Furthermore, for example, the "marker shape" of the marker 61c associated with the building material symbol 60c indicating the automatic fire alarm "Photoelectric spot type detector, type 3, non-accumulating head" and the automatic fire alarm wiring device "Quick-connect detector base with check light (without connector)" is a "star-shaped octagon."
[0067] 6 is a schematic diagram of a pick-out design drawing 71 in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. As shown in FIG. 6, the pick-out design drawing 71 is a drawing showing how the building material symbols 60a to 60f included in the design drawing 41a have been picked out by the construction site support system 10 and markers 61a to 61f corresponding to the building material symbols 60a to 60f have been added.
[0068] The building material symbol information 43 is information that includes information that associates the building material symbol 60 with the price of the construction equipment indicated by the building material symbol 60. At this time, the building material symbol information 43 is referenced, and multiplied by the type and number of building material symbols 60 indicated by the picking result information to calculate the total cost of purchasing the construction equipment indicated by the building material symbol 60 included in the building. The building material symbol information 43 may also include information that associates the building material symbol 60 with the product number of the construction equipment indicated by the building material symbol 60. At this time, by referencing the building material symbol information 43, detailed information indicating the characteristics and performance of the construction equipment indicated by the building material symbol 60 is presented.
[0069] [Operation] Next, a description will be given of the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. The construction site support system 10 is a system that extracts the number and positions of each building material symbol 60 based on the design drawing 41a of the building and information indicating the type of building material symbol 60 included in the design drawing 41a, and executes the extraction work of the building material symbol 60 for each rectangular closed section specified by the user.
[0070] The operation of such a construction site support system 10 will be described. FIG. 7 is a sequence diagram showing the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment, that is, a flowchart corresponding to the sequence diagram of FIG. 7. (a) of FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the operation of the terminal device 20 in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment, that is, the operation of the terminal device 20 in the sequence diagram of FIG. 7. (b) of FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the operation of the server 30 in the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment, that is, the operation of the server 30 in the sequence diagram of FIG. 7. Note that in FIGS. 7, 8(a) and 8(b), similar steps are given the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations will not be given.
[0071] First, the acquisition unit 221 of the terminal device 20 acquires the user's building material symbol pick-up command accepted by the operation acceptance unit 24 (S101). Next, the control unit 222 of the terminal device 20 transmits the acquired building material symbol pick-up command to the server 30 via the communication unit 21, the public network 50, and the communication unit 31 (S102).
[0072] The building material symbol picking command is a command for executing picking up of building material symbols 60 included in design drawings of a building. The building material symbol picking command includes drawing information 41. Note that the server 30 may store the design drawings in advance in the storage unit 33, and in this case, the building material symbol picking command does not need to include the design drawings.
[0073] Next, the detection unit 322 of the server 30 executes picking up of the building material symbol 60 based on the acquired building material symbol picking up command (S103). The detection unit 322 determines the shapes of markers 61a to 61f corresponding to the building material symbols 60a to 60f as shown in Fig. 5 based on the design drawing shown in Fig. 2 and the legend symbol information shown in Fig. 3, and attaches a marker 61 of a shape corresponding to the building material symbol 60 included in the design drawing as shown in Fig. 6. The picking up result is stored in the storage unit 33 as picking up result information.
[0074] When the picking up of the building material symbols is completed, the output unit 324 transmits the picking up results to the terminal device 20 via the communication unit 31, the public network 50, and the communication unit 21 (S104). The picking up results are, specifically, information indicating the shape of the marker 61 and information indicating the coordinates of the marker 61.
[0075] When the acquisition unit 221 of the terminal device 20 acquires the picking result, the control unit 222 displays the marker 61 on the display unit 25 (S105). That is, the control unit 222 displays the marker 61 superimposed on the building material symbol 60 included in the design drawing based on the acquired picking result, and also displays the legend symbol information. The screen displayed on the display unit 25 displays, for example, the picking legend symbol information 70 and the picking design drawing 71 shown in Figs. 5 and 6 together.
[0076] Next, the acquisition unit 221 of the terminal device 20 acquires a rectangular closed section designation instruction from the user via the operation reception unit 24 (S106). The user designates the position of the rectangular closed section by, for example, clicking the mouse to indicate the coordinates of the vertices of the rectangular closed section. At this time, the user also designates the attributes of the rectangular closed section. The attributes of the rectangular closed section are, for example, "common area," "private area 1," or "private area 2." The attributes of the rectangular closed section may also be "first type," "second type," or "third type." Rectangular closed sections with the same attributes are summed up and presented when counting the number of building material symbols.
[0077] When the acquisition unit 221 acquires the user's rectangular closed section designation instruction, the control unit 222 transmits rectangular closed section information and a marker count instruction to the server 30 via the communication unit 21, the public network 50, and the communication unit 31 based on the acquired rectangular closed section designation instruction (S107). The rectangular closed section information includes information indicating the position of the rectangular closed section designated by the user and information indicating the type of the rectangular closed section. The marker count instruction is an instruction to count the number of markers 61 included in the designated rectangular closed section.
[0078] When the acquisition unit 321 of the server 30 acquires the rectangular closed section information and the marker count instruction, the control unit 323 updates the display information 42 based on the acquired rectangular closed section information (S108).
[0079] Next, the control unit 323 counts the number of markers 61 included in the rectangular closed compartment based on the updated display information 42 (S109). The control unit 323 counts the number of markers 61 included in each rectangular closed compartment based on the position information of the markers 61 and the rectangular closed compartment shown in (a) of Figure 4. For example, whether a marker 61 is included in a rectangular closed compartment is determined based on whether the coordinates ("x", "y") of the center point of the marker 61 are inside the rectangular closed compartment.
[0080] When counting the number of markers 61 included in a rectangular closed section, the control unit 323 performs an operation to change the range determined to be included in the rectangular closed section if multiple rectangular closed sections specified by the user are in a positional relationship where they are contained within the rectangular closed section or where their outer edges partially intersect. Figure 9 is a diagram showing the positional relationship of rectangular closed sections 62 during the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. Figure 9 (a) is a diagram showing an example of an appropriate positional relationship of rectangular closed sections 62 during the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. Figure 9 (b) is a diagram showing an inappropriate positional relationship of rectangular closed sections 62 during the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to the embodiment. Rectangular closed sections 621a, 622a, 621b, and 622b shown in Figure 9 are rectangular closed sections 62 set by the user, and markers 611, 612, and 613 are specific examples of markers 61 attached to building material symbols 60 picked up by the construction site support system 10.
[0081] 9A, when the first rectangular closed section 621a is positioned so as to encompass the second rectangular closed section 622a, the control unit 323 counts the number of markers 61 included in the first rectangular closed section 621a. However, at this time, the control unit 323 separately counts the markers 61 that are not inside the second rectangular closed section 622a and the markers 61 that are inside the second rectangular closed section 622a. In other words, the control unit 323 counts the markers 611 that are inside the first rectangular closed section 621a but not inside the second rectangular closed section 622a as the markers 61 included in the first rectangular closed section 621a, and counts the markers 612 that are inside the second rectangular closed section 622a as the markers 61 included in the second rectangular closed section 622a.
[0082] Here, after counting the number of markers 61 for each rectangular closed section 62, the attributes of the rectangular closed section 62 shown in (b) of Figure 4 are referenced, and if there are rectangular closed sections 62 with the same attributes, the marker count results of the rectangular closed sections 62 with the same attributes may be added together.
[0083] As shown in (b) of FIG. 9 , when the outer edge of the first rectangular closed section 621b and the outer edge of the second rectangular closed section 622b intersect, the control unit 323 cannot determine whether the marker 613 included in the overlapping portion of the first rectangular closed section 621b or the second rectangular closed section 622b is included in the first rectangular closed section 621b or the second rectangular closed section 622b. In other words, the control unit 323 cannot count the number of markers 61 included in the rectangular closed section 621b. In this case, the control unit 323 performs information processing to notify the user that the markers could not be counted. For example, the control unit 323 notifies the user that the markers could not be counted by displaying a tab indicating an error.
[0084] When the number of markers 61 included in the rectangular closed section 62 is counted, the output unit 324 transmits the marker count result to the terminal device 20 via the communication unit 31, the public network 50, and the communication unit 21 (S110). The marker count result includes the number and type of markers for each rectangular closed section 62 and pick-out legend symbol information 70.
[0085] When the acquisition unit 221 of the terminal device 20 acquires the marker count result, the control unit 222 displays the marker count result on the display unit 25 based on the acquired marker count result (S111). Fig. 10 is a diagram showing an example of a screen display during the operation of the construction site support system 10 according to an embodiment. As shown in Fig. 10, the display unit 25 displays the rectangular closed section specified by the user in step S106 superimposed on the picking-out design drawing 71. Here, a first rectangular closed section 621 and a second rectangular closed section 622 contained in the first rectangular closed section 621 are specified superimposed on the picking-out design drawing 71.
[0086] The display unit 25 displays marker count results 6211 and 6221 for each rectangular closed section. The marker count result 6211 for the first rectangular closed section 621 indicates the attribute of the first rectangular closed section 621 (here, "exclusive area") and the type and number of markers 61 counted as being included in the first rectangular closed section 621. In other words, it indicates the type and number of markers 61 that are present inside the first rectangular closed section 621 but not inside the second rectangular closed section 622. For example, there are three markers 61c inside the first rectangular closed section 621, but two of them are inside the second rectangular closed section 622, so it is displayed that only one marker 61c is counted as being included in the first rectangular closed section 621. The marker count result 6221 for the second rectangular closed section 622 indicates the attribute of the second rectangular closed section 622 (here, "shared area") and the type and number of markers 61 counted as being included in the second rectangular closed section 622. That is, it indicates the type and number of markers 61 present inside the second rectangular closed section 622. For example, since two markers 61c exist inside the second rectangular closed section 622, it is displayed that the number of markers 61c counted as being included in the second rectangular closed section 622 is two.
[0087] In steps S110 and S111, the control unit 222 presents the marker count results sent by the control unit 323 to the user by displaying them on the display unit 25, but the control unit 323 may also present the marker count results to the user by creating a file or the like indicating the marker count results and transmitting it to the terminal device 20. Also, the marker count results do not need to be displayed on the display unit 25 as long as they are presented to the user. There are no particular limitations on the method of presenting the marker count results to the user.
[0088] According to the above-described operation, the construction site support system 10 presents the results of the work of picking out the building material symbols 60 for each rectangular closed section 62 specified by the user. Furthermore, if it is determined that the second rectangular closed section 622 is specified so that it is completely contained within the area of the first rectangular closed section 621, the specific building material symbols 60 contained in both the first rectangular closed section 621 and the second rectangular closed section 622 are managed in the terminal device 20 as being contained in the second rectangular closed section 622 rather than the first rectangular closed section 621. In other words, if it can be strongly inferred that the user intentionally specified the second rectangular closed section 622 in that way, that specification takes priority. Therefore, the user can reduce the time required to pick out the building material symbols 60.
