Claims

1. A pillar garnish mounting structure comprising: an inner garnish extending vertically along a side outer, which is a pillar framework member of a vehicle body, and fixed along the outer surface of the side outer; and an outer garnish extending vertically along the inner garnish and positioned on the outer surface of the inner garnish in the vehicle width direction, wherein one of the inner garnish and the outer garnish has a convex portion that protrudes toward the other, and the other of the inner garnish and the outer garnish has a concave portion that is recessed along the convex portion, and the inner garnish and the outer garnish are fixed together by the convex portion fitting into the concave portion.

2. The pillar garnish mounting structure according to claim 1, wherein the protrusion is provided on the outer garnish, and the recess is provided on the inner garnish.

3. The pillar garnish mounting structure according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the side outer is a pillar frame member of a rear pillar.

4. A pillar garnish mounting structure according to claim 3, wherein the inner garnish is attached to the rear surface of the side outer and protrudes rearward from the side outer, and the outer garnish covers the outer side of the inner garnish in the vehicle width direction.

5. A pillar garnish mounting structure according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the outer garnish has an outer fixing portion that is fixed to the side outer.

A pillar garnish mounting structure as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the inner garnish is fixed to the side outer by a first fixing member inserted along the vehicle longitudinal direction, and the outer garnish is fixed to the inner garnish by a second fixing member inserted along the vehicle width direction.

A pillar garnish mounting structure as set forth in any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the tip ends of the inner garnish and the outer garnish, extending from the side outer to one side in the vehicle longitudinal direction, are engaged with each other by a locking piece arranged on one of the inner garnish and the outer garnish and a hook portion arranged on the other of the inner garnish and the outer garnish to which the locking piece is engaged.

8. The pillar garnish mounting structure according to claim 7, wherein a plurality of the locking pieces and hook portions are arranged in a line in the vertical direction along the inner garnish and the outer garnish.
