[0003] The present invention relates to a hair dyeing apparatus that enables the application of any kind of dye in one or different colors or tones to the hair for use in treatments such as "highlights," "balayage," "shading," and "bleaching," which are male or female hair dyeing treatments performed by the wrapping method in hairdressers and hair care establishments.

[0005] Hair dyeing is a common hair care, hairstyling and cosmetic treatment. This is a method of changing hair color. It is possible to obtain black hair, blonde hair, brown hair, auburn hair, red hair, blue hair and similar types by using different color dyes.

[0006] In the known case, some hair dyeing techniques are performed by dyeing one or more different parts of the hair, rather than the whole hair, with dyes of one or different colors or shades. For example, examples include highlights, balayage, shading and bleaching treatments. In this type of treatment, a part or parts of hair that need to be dyed are dyed with an appropriate dye and then covered with a foil, i.e. wrapped. This process is known as the wrapping technique during hair dyeing.

[0007] The wrapping process performed during hair dyeing is a very difficult and inconvenient process. The hairdresser who performs the hair dyeing process separates each part of hair that needs to be dyed, and then dyes and wraps it in a foil. After ensuring that the dye penetrates the hair, he completes the process by unwrapping the foil. The wrapping process described above has many disadvantages and challenges. The first one is that the hairdresser prepares the foil cut in certain sizes before the dyeing process or prepares the foil according to the size of the dyed hair by cutting it during the dyeing process. This both slows down the process and reduces the dyeing efficiency. Additional personnel may be required due to the difficulties of both hair dyeing and foil preparing. In fact, every hair type is different and dyes penetrate the hair in different time periods. Therefore, it is very important to determine the time the dye should be applied. The foil wrapped around the hair after the dyeing process is opaque, which makes it impossible to observe the hair. In this case, the hairdresser has to remove the foil occasionally in order to check the hair. This has a negative impact on the dyeing process and efficiency thereof. This negative effect is a result of the fact that once the foil has been opened, it cannot be re-wrapped in the desired form. This results in a problem known in the industry as "bleeding", where the dye or care product contained in the wrap leaks out thereof. Moreover, constant opening and checking of the foils requires additional workforce.

[0009] In the known art, aluminum foils are used in the wrapping process. Aluminum foil is not an easily biodegradable material, and it is obviously harmful to the environment as waste. According to ModernSalon.com, it is estimated that hair salons worldwide contribute an astonishing 196 million tons of foil waste per year. In hair dyeing treatment, it is undesirable to consume expensive underground resources such as aluminum and damage the environment. In the US patent document numbered US2004011370A1 , which was found during the literature review, an apparatus for applying a hair care product to hair to achieve highlight is described. [0042] In this detailed description, a wrapping apparatus (1) of the present invention is described by way of non-limiting examples in order to provide a better understanding of the subject-matter.

[0043] The wrapping apparatus (1 ) of the present invention allows wrapping of the relevant hair part during the application of a dye, chemical or hair care product to certain parts of the hair. All definitions herein are within the context of hair dye, and it should be understood that when a dye is mentioned in the description, it also includes a chemical or hair care product.

[0044] The wrapping apparatus (1 ) of the present invention is illustrated from various angles in Figures 1 , 2, and 3. Accordingly, the wrapping apparatus (1) comprises a plate-shaped body (10). The body (10) is made of a lightweight material and is intended to be transparent. Transparent material allows the film roll (11 ) within the roll chamber (12) to be observed, which ensures that the user can keep track of the amount of film available for use and the replacement time for the film roll (11 ). However, it is possible to produce non-transparent versions. In this case, the relevant part of the hair to be dyed is placed on the film strip (13), and after the dyeing process is completed, the film strip (13) is cut by means of the blade (16) on the body (10). In the present invention, the blade (16) is located in a channel (18) on a lower surface (19) or an upper surface (20) of the body (10), and can move in direction C or in an opposite direction. The blade (18) cuts the film strip (13) during this movement. The cut film strip (13) is wrapped around the dyed hair by the hairdresser and the wrapping process is completed. The same process is repeated for each part of the hair desired to be dyed. In the present invention, although the blade (16) can linearly move along the channel (18) in direction C and in the opposite direction, it is stopped by means of at least one stopper (17) to prevent it from separating the body (10). Here, the stopper (17) can be one on the right and one on the left of the channel (18), or only one on the right or only one on the left. The stopper (17) is designed in a removable manner to allow replacement of the blade (16) in the event that the blade (16) becomes blunt or somehow fails to perform its function.

[0047] In the present invention, the blade (16) moves inside the channel (18) via a guide (163) thereof, the user moves the blade (16) by contacting a contact surface (161 ) with their finger, and any cutting surfaces (162) of the blade (16) cut the film strip (13). The blade (16) is used by being pushed or pulled by the user. Therefore, the cutting surface (162) of the blade (16) must never come into contact with the user. In the present invention, the cutting surface (162) is kept closed within the channel (18), thus providing a safety precaution to prevent damage to the user. Furthermore, since the blade (16) of the present invention can move linearly and can be placed on the right or left side of the channel (18), it offers an ergonomic solution for hairdressers who use both right and left hand.

The function thereof in the present invention is to store the film roll (11 ) that supplies the film strip (13). It is necessary to replace the stored film roll (11 ) with a new one when it runs out. Therefore, a chamber lid (14) is used for the roll chamber (12) in the present invention. The chamber lid (14) is inserted into and removed from the roll chamber (12) by rotating it. It is also possible to alternatively use methods such as claw fitting or magnetic fastening between the roll chamber (12) and the chamber lid (14). In fact, the way in which the chamber lid (14) is inserted and removed has no significant effect on the invention. The important thing is that the invention comprises a chamber lid (14) that can be inserted and removed from the roll chamber (12) and allows the film roll (11 ) to be replaced.

[0049] In the present invention, another feature thereof is that the wrapping apparatus (1 ) can be hung by means of a hook (15) on the hairdresser's pocket, belt or otherwise clothing during the application. The said hook (15) also allows the wrapping apparatus (1) to be hung on a surface and stored in this manner when not in use.

[0050] Thanks to the wrapping apparatus (1 ) of the present invention, hairdressers can automatically cut the film strips (13) to the desired size according to the length and quantity of the hair during dyeing and complete the wrapping process. The wrapping apparatus (1 ) offers the hairdressers speed and convenience advantages during the wrapping process performed in treatments such as "highlights," "balayage," "shading," "bleaching," etc.

Claims

CLAIMS1. The present invention is a wrapping apparatus (1 ) to be used in a wapping process in a hair dyeing treatment characterized in that it comprises:• at least one plate-shaped body (10),• at least one roll chamber (12) on the lower surface (19) of the said body (10),• at least one film roll (11 ) in the said roll chamber (12),• at least one film strip (13) extended from the said film roll (11 ) and used for wrapping dyed hair sections.

2. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises at least one blade (16) positioned on the body (10) and used for cutting the said film strip (13).

3. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said blade (16) comprises at least one guide (163) which allows it to be mounted in such a way that it can move linearly in the channel (18).

4. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said blade (16) comprises at least one cutting surface (162) which is located in the channel (18) and cuts the film strip (13).

5. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said blade (16) comprises a contact surface (161 ) on the upper surface which allows the user to perform pushing and pulling movement through a contact with their finger.

6. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said blade (16) comprises at least one channel(18) through which it can move linearly in direction C and in the opposite direction.

7. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blade (16) comprises at least one stopper (17) which prevents it from detaching from the said channel (18).

8. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said roll chamber (12) comprises at least one chamber lid (14) which can be opened and closed or inserted and removed in order to replace the film roll (11 ) therein.

9. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said roll chamber (12) comprises at least one opening which allows the film strip (13) to extend and exit from the film roll (11 ) therein.

10. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the body (10) comprises, in any part thereof, at least one hook (15) which allows the wrapping apparatus (1 ) to be hung on a surface during use or storage.

A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the body (10) or the roll chamber (12) is made of a transparent material so that the film roll (11 ) in the roll chamber (12) can be observed, and the user can keep track of the amount of film available for use and the replacement time for the film roll (11 ).

12. A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the film strip (13) is made of a transparent material so that the process for the hair dyed and wrapped can be observed.

A wrapping apparatus (1 ) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the film strip (13) is aluminum foil.14.The present invention relates to a method for using a wrapping apparatus (1 ) for use in a wrapping process in a hair dyeing treatment, comprising:• at least one plate-shaped body (10),• at least one roll chamber (12) on the lower surface (19) of the said body (10),• at least one film roll (11 ) in the said roll chamber (12),• at least one film strip (13) extended from the said film roll (11 ) and used for wrapping dyed hair sections,• at least one blade (16) which cuts the said film strip (13) characterized in that■ moving the film strip (13) in the film roll (11) contained in the roll chamber (12) in the direction B by extending it through an opening,■ laying the said film strip (13) on the upper surface (20) of the body (10) by extending it in direction A,■ taking and dyeing the part of the hair to be dyed on the film strip (13) laid on the upper surface (20) of the body (10),■ cutting the film strip (13) by moving the blade (16) when the dyeing process is completed,■ wrapping the dyed hair part with the cut film strip (13).

15. A method according to claim 1 characterized in that said blade (16) is moved linearly in the direction C and in the opposite direction to cut the film strip (13).
