Patent application JP 2007 / 289631 A describes a kitchen washbasin piece of furniture provided with a containing space concealed by a panel and arranged behind the piece of furniture toward the supporting wall, in which the containing space contains a known and traditional type of connection pipe for sending water toward a draining system, in which the washbasin basin is shaped with a drainage, integral with the basin itself, in which the drainage constitutes an extension conduit between the basin drain and the containing space arranged at the back. In practice JP 2007 / 289631 A describes a piece of furniture provided with a panel for hiding drainage pipes of traditional type. JP 2007 / 289631 A does not provide for any fluid passage system in the form of an insert applicable in a seat of the worktop and provides that the worktop includes pipes obtained directly within the thickness of the worktop suitable for the flow of fluids, without the use of an insertion element provided with a head with a liquid collection mouth at a first end and a drainage coupling which is open outwardly which is placed at a second end opposite to the first end with respect to a longitudinal development of the insertion element.

[0017] The siphon, located under the basin, is mounted coaxially to the basin drainage hole itself and occupies a significant portion of the space under the basin.

[0018] This occupied volume involves three main problems:

[0019] • the siphon with its piping is often visible and has required several design and functionality studies to hide it or make it less evident, with the consequence that there is an increase in cost compared to the pure cost of the functional component itself;

[0020] • the presence of the siphon under the upper plane of the piece of furniture which supports the basin involves a partial occupation of the containing space of the piece of furniture, limiting the possibility of storing objects and causing the presence of constraints that affect, for example, positioning and shape;

[0021] • in the case in which the piece of furniture provides for the application of a drawer or shelves in the containing compartment under the upper plane of the piece of furniture which supports the basin, elaborate work on the drawer or shelf itself becomes necessary with the creation of a slit to avoid interference with the siphon and the pipes and the application of additional elements, called siphon-savers, becomes necessary, with further increase in costs and further reduction of the space available in the containing compartment.

[0022] Further problems relate to the fact that, the siphon and the drainage pipes being inside the containing compartment as well as the pipes for feeding water toward the tap, it happens that the user, during the phases of depositing or removing objects from the compartment itself, hits the siphon or the pipes, with the consequence that loosening of the connections and joints can occur with subsequent leaks that occur only when the sink is used the next time, without the user being able to notice it immediately since the leaks occur inside the compartment of the piece of furniture which is closed by the drawers or doors. In the long run, the occurrence of such leaks can also lead to deterioration of the piece of furniture itself, detachment of the surface finishing paints, swelling of the wooden panels which compose it. This type of damage is often not repairable and requires the entire piece of furniture to be replaced.

[0029] The fluid passage system realized according to the present invention allows to fully exploit the compartment of the piece of furniture which is present under the upper plane of the piece of furniture that supports the sink or, in the case of embodiments of the piece of furniture in the form of a wall cabinet unit, the compartment of the piece of furniture which is present within the wall cabinet unit itself, or, in the case of embodiments of the piece of furniture in the form of a shelf, the upper plane of the shelf. Furthermore, problems related to possible hitting with the siphon or the drainage pipes during the use of the piece of furniture are completely eliminated.

Claims

CLAIMS1. Fluid passage system (1) for a piece of furniture (10) provided with a tap (51) located on a hiding plane (11) comprising at least one seat (3, 3’, 3”) which is placed at least partially within a thickness (S) of the hiding plane (11), the fluid passage system (1 ) comprising an insertion element (2) for insertion into the at least one seat (3, 3’, 3”), in which the insertion element (2) is provided with a head (4) with at least one mouth (23) at a first end (47), a connection (5) provided with at least one conduit (22) connected to at least one coupling (6) which is open outwardly which is placed at a second end (48) opposite to the first end (47) with respect to a longitudinal development of the insertion element (2), the mouth (23) being in fluidcommunication with the conduit (22) in such a way as to define a continuous fluidic path between the coupling (6) and the mouth (23), characterised in that the fluid passage system (1) is configured as feeding system of the water toward the tap (51), the head (4) being configured to be located vertically below with respect to the tap (51) and in fluid connection with fluid inlets of the tap (51) for cold and / or hot water feed toward a mixer of the tap (51), the coupling (6) being composed of a first coupling (6') for hot water feeding and a second coupling (6") for cold water feeding, the mouth (23) being composed of a first mouth (23') for hot water feeding and a second mouth (23") for cold water feeding, the conduit (22) being composed of two pipes internally to the connection (5), a first internal pipe being in fluid connection with the first mouth (23') for hot water feeding and with the first coupling (6') for hot water feeding, a second internal pipe being in fluid connection with the second mouth (23") for cold water feeding and with the second coupling (6") for cold water feeding.

2. Fluid passage system (1) for a piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that the insertion element (2) further includes a fixing system (56, 57, 58, 59) of the tap (51 ) in which the fixing system of the tap (51 ) is integrated in the fluid passage system (1 ).

Fluid passage system (1) for a piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that the fixing system (56, 57, 58, 59) of the tap (51) includes an insertion tunnel (60) for theinsertion of a pushing element (56) in which the insertion tunnel (60) is obtained internally with respect to the insertion element (2) and it is placed between said first internal pipe and said second internal pipe in a parallel condition with respect to said first internal pipe and said second internal pipe, the insertion tunnel (60) being in connection with the exterior of the insertion element (2) by means of a first insertion passing-through cut-out placed between the first coupling (6') and the second coupling (6"), the insertion tunnel (60) being in connection with the exterior of the insertion element (2) by means of a second passing-through cut-out placed between the first mouth (23') and the second mouth (23"), the fixing system (56, 57, 58, 59) further comprising an adjustment screw (59) and a wedge (58) provided with a threaded hole (61) in which the wedge (58) is inserted inside the second cut-out with an inclined end of the pushing element (56) according to a configuration in which when the pushing element (56) is in inserted condition within the insertion tunnel (60) the inclined end of the pushing element (56) is in contact with a corresponding inclined counter-surface of the wedge (58), in such a way that following screwing of the screw (59) on a corresponding bolt (57), the screw (59) applies a pushing force on the pushing element (56) and on the respective inclined surface of the pushing element (56) with consequent traction of the wedge (58) inwardly with respect to the insertion tunnel (60) and corresponding fixing traction of the tap (51) which is fixed to the wedge (58) by means of a threaded bar (62) screwed on the threaded hole (61 ) of the wedge (58).

4. Fluid passage system (1 ) for a piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims characterised in that the coupling (6) is protruding with respect to the connection (5) for connection to a hydraulic network.

5. Fluid passage system (1 ) for a piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims characterised in that the connection (5) of the insertion element (2) has a height (H) which is smaller than or equal to a depth (Z) of the seat (3, 3’, 3”) in such a way that when the insertion element (2) is in an inserted condition inside the seat (3, 3’, 3”) the connection (5) is in hidden condition inside the seat (3, 3’, 3”).

6. Fluid passage system (1 ) for a piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims characterised in that the insertion element (2) of the fluid passage system (1) configured as feeding system of the water is provided with one or more inspection accesses (25, 27) and respective closing caps (26, 28) which are removable for the inspection of the inside of the insertion element (2).

7. Piece of furniture (10) provided with a tap (51), in which the piece of furniture (10) is provided with a body (7), the body (7) defining a compartment (15), the body (7) comprising a technical space (16) which is separate with respect to the compartment (15), the tap (51 ) being located on a hiding plane (11) comprising at least one seat (3, 3’, 3”) which is placed at least partially within a thickness (S) of the hiding plane (11), the piece of furniture (10) being provided with at least one fluid passage system (1) comprising an insertion element (2) for insertion into the at least one seat (3, 3’, 3”), the fluid passage system (1) defining a continuous fluidic path between a coupling (6) and a mouth (23) of the insertion element (2), characterised in that the fluid passage system (1) is made according to any of the previous claims for feeding of the water toward the tap (51), in which the insertion element (2) is in inserted condition inside the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and the connection (5) is in a hidden condition inside the seat (3, 3’, 3”), the fluid passage system (1) being located on the body (7) in such a way as not to even partially occupy the space (15).

8. Piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that the coupling (6) is located within the technical space (16).

9. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 8 characterised in that the piece of furniture (10) is a wall cabinet unit, the hiding plane (11) being coincident with a base plane (14) of the piece of furniture (10) in the form of wall cabinet unit.

10. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 8 characterised in that the piece of furniture (10) is a shelf, the containing compartment consisting of a support surface of the shelf itself, the technical space (16) being a connection space directly obtained on the back of the shelf, in correspondence with a terminal part of the seat (3).

11. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 10 characterised in thatit includes a separation-board (13) for separation of the technical space (16) with respect to the compartment (15), the separation-board (13) being placed in a position selected between:- position at a rear side (45) of the piece of furniture (10), the technical space (16) being placed rearward with respect to a quadrangular shape of the body (7) of the piece of furniture (10);- position at a side (12) of the body (7), the technical space (16) being placed sideways with respect to a quadrangular shape of the body (7) of the piece of furniture (10).

12. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 11 characterised in that the seat (3, 3’, 3”) is placed on the hiding plane (11) and it is directed toward the upper side (32) of the hiding plane (11), the seat (3, 3’, 3”) comprising a backing surface (46) which delimits the seat (3, 3’, 3”) on a lower side, the seat comprising a connection hole (17) between the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and the technical space (16) in such a way that, when the fluid passage system (1) is in mounted condition with the insertion element (2) placed in the seat (3, 3’, 3”), the coupling (6) is in inserted condition across the hole (17) and protrudes internally to the technical space (16).

13. Piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that it further includes a finishing coating (9) for application on the upper part to the hiding plane (11) for hiding the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and the insertion element (2) placed in the seat (3, 3’, 3”), the finishing coating (9) being selected between:- plane finishing coating (9) surface in which the seat (3, 3’, 3”) is entirely obtained within the thickness (S) of the hiding plane (11 );- finishing coating (9) provided with a portion of the seat (3, 3’, 3”) in which a first semi-seat (3') is obtained on the hiding plane (11) and a second semi-seat (3") is obtained on the finishing coating (9) in such a way that the first semi-seat (3') and the second semi-seat (3") are reciprocally coupled and placed on each other forming the seat (3) when the finishing coating (9) is positioned at the hiding plane (11), the depth (Z) of the seat (3) corresponding to the sum of the depth of the first semi-seat (3’) and the depth of the second semi-seat (3”), so that the insertion element (2) is positioned in an inserted condition inside the seat (3) composed of the assembly of the reciprocally coupled first semi-seat (3’) and second semi-seat (3”).

14. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 11 characterised in thatthe seat (3, 3’, 3”) is directed toward the lower side (33) of the hiding plane (11), the seat (3, 3’, 3”) being directly connected to the technical space (16) placed rearward with respect to the body (7) of the piece of furniture (10), the seat (3, 3’, 3”) comprising a backing surface which delimits the seat (3, 3’, 3”) on the upper part, the backing surface comprising a connecting duct (54), placed between the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and the upper side (32) of the hiding plane (11 ) of the body (7) of the piece of furniture (10), in such a way that, when the fluid passage system (1) is in mounted condition with the insertion element (2) placed inside the seat (3, 3’, 3”), the coupling (6) is in protruding condition internally to the technical space (16) and the head (4) is in inserted condition inside the duct (54) placed between the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and the upper side (32).

15. Piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that it includes a removable hiding plate (55), in which the plate (55) is applied on the lower side (33) of the hiding plane (11) for hiding the seat (3, 3’, 3”) and of the insertion element (2) inside the compartment (15).

16. Piece of furniture (10) according to any of the previous claims 7 to 15 characterised in that it further includes a fluid passage system (1) which is configured as a water drain system from the sink (8), the fluid passage system (1) defining a continuous fluidic path between the mouth (23) of the insertion element (2) in fluid connection with the first passage (18) for the drain of the sink (8) and the coupling (6) connected to the hydraulic network of water drainage, in which the coupling (6) for connection to the hydraulic network of water drainage is placed in the technical space (16) in hidden condition, the fluid passage system (1) being placed on the body (7) in such a way as not to even partially occupy the compartment (15).

17. Piece of furniture (10) according to the previous claim characterised in that the insertion element (2) of the fluid passage system (1) configured as a water drain system from the sink (8) is provided with one or more inspection accesses (25, 27) and respective closing caps (26, 28) which are removable for the inspection of the inside of the insertion element (2).
