Generating a driver interface in a rail vehicle

Abstract

A computer-implemented method of generating a driver interface in a rail vehicle comprises receiving an input stream of images captured by an image capturing unit; recognising one or more objects using an object recognition model, where at least one object is a signal light; receiving a location of the rail vehicle from an on-board location system; correlating the received location with the at least one identified signal light to determine an identifier of the signal light; determining whether an output of the signal light is applicable to the rail vehicle, based on the determined identifier of the signal light; and generating a driver interface corresponding to the output of a signal light which is determined to be applicable to the rail vehicle.
