[0001] ELEVATOR CAR ARRANGEMENT

[0002] BACKGROUND

[0003] The invention relates to an elevator car arrangement , comprising an elevator car and a car sling .

[0004] Elevators having a low pit or low headroom or both, are more and more popular, since lowering the pit and the headroom lowers also capital expenditure of the elevator . However, various tasks , such as inspections , adj ustment works , maintenance or repairs , shortly "maintenance work" , are focused to the pit and the bottom of the elevator car or to the headroom or the roof of the elevator car . There are still needs for solutions providing safe , spacious and easy access from inside the car to the pit and the headroom .

[0006] Viewed from a first aspect , there can be provided an elevator car arrangement , comprising an elevator car, a car sling arranged at least partly outside the elevator car, the car sling comprising at least one of an upper framework and a lower framework, wherein the upper framework is arranged on the roof of the elevator car, the upper framework rimming an upper free surface lying in the middle section of said roof , and the lower framework arranged under the bottom of the elevator car, the lower framework rimming a lower free surface lying in the middle section of said bottom, the car sling further compri sing at least one upright , and two pulley arrangements attached to the car sling on opposite sides of the elevator car .

[0048] Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of an elevator car arrangement . The elevator car arrangement 100 comprises an elevator car 1 that is depicted by dashed lines in Figure 1 , and a car sling 2 arranged at least partly outside the elevator car 1 . The car sling is made of suitable metal material , for instance . In the embodiment shown in Figure 1 , the car sling 2 comprises an upper framework 3 that is arranged on the roof 4 of the elevator car, and a lower framework 6 that is arranged under the bottom 7 of the elevator car .

The upper free surface 5 is devoid of parts of the car sling and hoisting means . Claims

CLAIMS1. An elevator car arrangement (100) , comprising- an elevator car (1) ,- a car sling (2) arranged at least partly outside the elevator car, the car sling comprising at least one of an upper framework (3) and a lower framework (6) , wherein- the upper framework (3) is arranged on the roof (4) of the elevator car,- the upper framework (3) rimming an upper free surface (5) lying in the middle section of said roof, and- the lower framework (6) arranged under the bottom (7) of the elevator car,- the lower framework (6) rimming a lower free surface (8) lying in the middle section of said bottom, the car sling (2) further comprising- at least one upright (9) , and- two pulley arrangements (10) attached to the car sling (2) on opposite sides of the elevator car (1) .

2. The arrangement as claimed in claim 1, wherein- the upper framework (3) has a shape of quadrangle, wherein the shape follows the shape of the roof (4) .

3. The arrangement as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein- the upper framework (3) is arranged to create a framing around the upper free surface (5) .

4. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the lower framework (6) has a shape of quadrangle, wherein the shape follows the shape of the bottom (7) .

5. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the lower framework (6) is arranged to create a framing around the lower free surface (8) .

6. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, comprising- two uprights (9) arranged on the opposite sides of the elevator car (1) .

9. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) comprises one pulley (11) only .

13. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to a lower half of the height (H) of the car sling (2) .

14. The arrangement as claimed in claim 13, comprising- the lower framework (6) and wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to the lower framework ( 6 ) .

15. The arrangement as claimed in claim 14, wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to the lower framework (6) and the upright (9) .

16. The arrangement as claimed in any of claims 1 - 12, wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to an upper half or to a half-way of the height of the car sling (2) .

17. The arrangement as claimed in claim 16, comprising- the upper framework (3) , and wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to the upper framework (3) .

18. The arrangement as claimed in claim 17, wherein- the pulley arrangement (10) is attached to the upper framework (3) and the upright (9) .

19. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the two pulley arrangements (10) are arranged on the same height in relation to the height of the car sling (2) .

20. The arrangement as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein- the rotation axis (12) of the pulley is parallel with the width (W) or the length (L) of the elevator car (1) .
