Abstract
Description
[0001] SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF RAISED FLOORS
[0002] Specification
[0003] The present invention relates, in general, to a support structure of raised floors which allows to arrange the support for raised floors in a quick and practical manner. More particularly, it concerns a support structure that allows to join together support plates for raised floors.
[0004] As is known, for the construction of raised floors, support structures are used on which to place the tiles intended to form the visible portion of the flooring.
[0005] These support structures may consist solely of feet on which the tiles are placed, or may comprise support plates suitable for forming a regular base on which to place the tiles.
[0006] In the case where support plates are used, they must be connected to each other so as to make the surface on which the tiles are placed homogeneous and continuous.
[0007] Usually, the function of connecting the support plates is carried out by means of support feet on which the plates are supported.
[0008] In particular, the known technique provides that the feet are arranged at the comers of the plates, usually of quadrangular shape.
[0009] However, this support system has the significant limitation of requiring the use of specific feet, which serve the purpose of joining the plates together.
[0010] Moreover, according to this configuration, the operator is obliged to use the feet even in cases where the height of the flooring from the ground must be minimal.
[0011] The object and function of the present invention is to provide a support structure of raised floors that allows to join support plates together in a practical and quick manner.
[0012] Another object of the invention is to offer a support structure of raised floors that can be realised independently of the use and configuration of support feet.
[0013] A further object of the invention is to provide a support structure of raised floors that is easily assembled and disassembled.
[0014] These and other objects are achieved by a support structure of raised floors according to the appended claims.
[0015] Further features and details of the invention may be better understood from the following description, given by way of non-limiting example, as well as from the attached drawing sheets, in which:

[0019] - figure 4 is a view of a detail of the plate of figure 3;
[0020] - figures 5 and 6 are respectively the top and bottom axonometric views of a bushing used for the realisation of the support structure of figure 1 ;
[0021] - figure 7 is a top axonometric view of the support structure, according to the invention, during the initial assembly stage;
[0022] - figure 8 is a view of a detail of the support structure of figure 7;
[0023] - figures 9, 10, 12, and 13 are views of a detail of the support structure during assembly;
[0024] - figure 11 is an axonometric view of two bushings stacked one on top of the other similarly to figure 10.
[0025] With reference to the attached figures, in particular to figure 1 , the reference 10 denotes, as a whole, a support structure of raised floors comprising:
[0026] - four support plates 12, 14, 16, 18;
[0027] - a bushing 20;
[0028] - feet 22, 24, 26, 28.
[0029] As shown in figure 2, four feet 22, 24, 26, 28 support the plate 12.
[0030] Foot 26, hidden in figure 1 , supports the four plates 12, 14, 16, 18.
[0031] As shown in figure 3, plate 12 comprises four angular portions, one of which, indicated by reference 30, is illustrated in figure 4.
[0032] The angular portion 30, like all four angular portions of plate 12, comprises a vertical arched portion 32 and a flat portion 34 in which an opening 36 is formed.
[0033] In the vertical arched portion 32, within the opening 36, a seat 38 is provided.
[0034] From the vertical arched portion 32 protrudes a protrusion 40 arranged at the same height as the flat portion 34. This protrusion 40 extends for one half of the same vertical arched portion 32.
[0035] The bushing 20, shown individually in figures 5 and 6, comprises superiorly a circular portion 42 in whose perimeter profile four recesses 44, 46, 48, 50 are formed so as to divide the same circular portion 42 into four angular bodies.
[0036] From each of these angular bodies a downwardly projecting body 52 protrudes.
[0037] From each projecting body 52 a notch 54 protrudes downwardly and a relief 56 protrudes laterally.
[0038] In figures 5 and 6, only one projecting body 52, one notch 54 and one relief 56 are indicated with their respective references.
[0039] The assembly stages of a support structure 10 of raised floors are described below, as illustrated in figures 7 to 13.
[0040] As shown in figure 1 , the four plates 12, 14, 16, 18 are arranged adjacent to each other so that the angular portions 30 of each plate 12, 14, 16, 18, arranged centrally, jointly form a circular seat.
[0041] As shown in figures 7 and 8, into this circular seat a bushing 20 is inserted, so that the four projecting bodies 52 of the bushing 20 are inserted into the openings 36 of the respective angular portions 30 of each plate 12, 14, 16, 18.
[0042] Subsequently, as shown in figure 9, a second bushing 20' is brought close to the bushing 20 already accommodated in the circular seat formed between the four plates 12, 14, 16, 18.
[0043] In particular, as shown in figures 10 and 11 , this second bushing 20' is made to cooperate with the bushing 20 so that each notch 54' of the second bushing 20' is inserted into a respective recess 44, 46 of the circular profile 42 of the bushing 20.
[0044] At this point, as shown in figure 12, the operator performs a clockwise rotation of the second bushing 20' so as to rotate the bushing 20 in the circular seat and achieve the positioning of the same as illustrated in figure 13.
[0045] In this way, the four reliefs 56 of the projecting bodies 52 are accommodated in the respective seats 38 formed in each of the four plates 12, 14, 16, 18.
[0046] Moreover, each protrusion 40 of each plate 12, 14, 16, 18 prevents the respective relief 56 from translating upward.
[0047] In this way, the bushing 20 is stably arranged in the circular seat formed between the four plates 12, 14, 16, 18, and its upward movement is prevented.
[0048] In case the support structure needs to be disassembled, the bushing 20 must be rotated counterclockwise using a screwdriver acting on one of the four recesses 44, 46, 48, 50. Variants are possible within the scope of protection; for example, the conformations of the projecting body 52, the notch 54, and the relief 56 may differ from those illustrated in the figures and previously described.
[0049] Moreover, a support structure according to the invention may comprise feet with a configuration different from that of feet 22, 24, 26, 28 previously illustrated and described, or it may even not include any feet at all, since the connection between the support plates is obtained and ensured by one or more bushings 20.
