Lacing and straps

[0001] The present invention relates to a string stopper and a strap that are attached to the end of a string.

[0002] Conventionally, straps having a string have utilized a string stopper attached to the end of the string. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a string stopper including a holding member that holds the end of the string and a housing member that houses the holding member. The holding member has a pair of legs that hold the end of the string, and the opposing inner surfaces of the pair of legs are provided with multiple protrusions that penetrate the end of the string.

Claims

1. A case member (3) having a side wall portion (31) extending along the axial direction and an opening (32) opening to one side in the axial direction; and a hanging member (4, 4A to 4C) on which a string end (2A, 2B) is hung and which is inserted into the case member (3) through the opening (32), wherein the hanging member (4, 4A to 4C) comprises: a head portion (41) exposed to the outside of the case member (3) through the opening (32); a body portion (42) extending from the head portion (41) along the axial direction within the case member (31); and a string insertion hole (43) passing through the body portion (42) in a first radial direction perpendicular to the axial direction, wherein the body portion (42) is disposed on the opposite side of the head portion (41) with respect to the string insertion hole (43), and has a first string support portion (47) and a second string support portion (48) facing opposite sides to each other in the first radial direction, A cord stopper, wherein each of the first cord support portion (47) and the second cord support portion (48) forms a cord space (S1, S2) between the first cord support portion (47) and the side wall portion (31) and in which the cord end portion (2A, 2B) is arranged.

2. A cord stopper as set forth in claim 1, wherein the case member (3) further comprises a bottom (33) disposed opposite the opening (32), and a cord outlet hole (34) passing through the bottom (33) in the axial direction, and the hanging member (4, 4A to 4C) has an opposing surface (451) facing the bottom (33) around the cord outlet hole (34), or a plurality of protrusions (456) protruding toward the bottom (33) and disposed with the cord outlet hole (34) as their center.

3. The cord stopper according to claim 2, wherein the cross-sectional shape of the cord outlet hole (34) perpendicular to the axial direction has a shape in which the central portion in the first radial direction is narrowed.

A cord stopper as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein each of the first cord support portion (47) and the second cord support portion (48) has a support surface (471, 481) facing the side wall portion (31) and at least one protrusion portion (472, 482) protruding from the support surface (471, 481).

5. A string stopper as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the hanging member (4, 4A, 4B) further comprises a pair of segments (401, 402) which together constitute the head (41) and the body (42) and have a slit (44) formed between them, and a base (45) which connects the pair of segments (401, 402), wherein the slit (44) divides the head (41) and the body (42) and communicates with the string insertion hole (43).

6. A string stopper as described in claim 5, wherein the hanging member (4, 4A, 4B) further comprises a through hole (46) that penetrates the body (42) in the first radial direction at a position adjacent to the base (45) and communicates with the slit (44) in the axial direction.

7. A cord stopper according to claim 5 or 6, wherein the pair of split pieces (401, 402) have split surfaces (411) that contact each other at the head (41).

8. A cord stopper as described in any one of claims 5 to 7, wherein the pair of split pieces (401, 402) have hole edge portions (432) that face each other through the cord insertion hole (43) in a second radial direction that is perpendicular to both the axial direction and the first radial direction.

9. A cord stopper as described in any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the axial dimension (H1) of each of the first cord support portion (47) and the second cord support portion (48) is equal to or greater than half of the axial dimension (H2) of the body portion (42).

10. A strap comprising: a cord stopper (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9; and a cord (2) having cord ends (2A, 2B) to which the cord stopper (1) is attached, wherein the cord (2) comprises a core (21) and one or more covering layers (22) covering the core (21).
