Description

[0001] Mounting System for a Hook Clamp, Especially for an Adapter of a Fuse Switch Disconnector, on a Busbar System

[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to a mounting system for a hook clamp, in particular for an adapter of a fuse switch disconnector, on a busbar system.

[0004] Prior Art

[0005] Fuse switch disconnectors are mounted onto a busbar system using hook clamps embedded in the disconnector base. The busbar systems to which fuse switch disconnectors are mounted typically have rails of two thicknesses: 5 mm and 10 mm. In the current state of the art various solutions exist for adapting hook clamps to different rail thicknesses of busbar systems. For example, from German patent description DE102009043174B4 is known a solution in which the clamp has a movable handle. Adapting the hook clamp to the appropriate rail thickness of busbar system is achieved by repositioning the movable handle.

[0006] Another known solution from European patent EP 2793332B1 involves a hook clamp assembly, that is the hook and pressure screw placed in a holder that slides transversely across the disconnector. Adjustment for different rail thicknesses is done by turning the pressure screw. Aim of the Invention

[0007] The invention provides a different solution to the existing technical problem of mounting a fuse switch disconnector onto a busbar system of varying thicknesses and orientations. The given solution aims to offer a simple-to-operate system that does not require additional tools to adjust the hook clamp's reach for different rail thicknesses.

[0008] Essence of the Invention

[0009] The essence of the mounting system for a hook clamp, especially for the adapter of a fuse switch disconnector on a busbar system, is that it contains at least one hook clamp detachably connected to the adapter. The hook clamp contains at least one hook and a hook holder. The mounting system for a hook clamp is characterized in that the hook holder of the hook clamp contains at least one wall ending with at least one latch, the shape of which is adapted to fit at least one first blocking wall in the adapter. Contact between the first blocking wall in the adapter and the latch on the hook holder limits the movement of the hook clamp and prevents it from being pulled out of the adapter. The hook holder also contains at least one beam adapted to fit at least one blocking recess in the adapter, thus the range of motion of the hook clamp is limited and prevented from being pushed further into the adapter.

[0010] It is advantageous if the hook holder of the hook clamp contains at least one stabilizing element, which helps position the hook clamp in the adapter by stabilizing it in either the first or second position. The shape of the stabilizing element is adapted, depending on the mounting system's position, accordingly to fit at least one first stabilizing recess or at least one second stabilizing recess. Advantages of the Invention

[0011] An advantageous effect of the invention is that in an easy-to-operate manner, i.e. by sliding the adapter in the base assembly, the hook clamp's reach can be adjusted to fit two rail thicknesses of the busbar system, namely 5 mm and 10 mm.

[0012] Description of Drawing

[0013] The subject of the invention in the embodiment example is showed in the drawing in which:

[0014] Fig. 1 shows the base assembly with the adapter in a perspective view.

[0015] Fig. 2 shows the adapter with hook clamps in a perspective view.

[0016] Fig. 3 shows the hook clamp in a perspective view.

[0017] Fig. 4 shows the hook clamp in a perspective view.

[0018] Fig. 5 shows a front view of the adapter with the cross-section line A-A indicated.

[0019] Fig. 6 shows a cross-sectional view of the adapter along line A-A.

[0020] Embodiment Examples

[0021] Example I

[0022] One hook clamp 3, consisting of two hooks 4 and a hook holder 5, is mounted on the adapter 2 of the base assembly 1 of the fuse switch disconnector. Two hooks 4 are inserted into two holes 13 of the adapter 2, while the hook holder 5, having two latches 7 on two of its walls, is inserted into the holes 13 of the adapter 2 and locked in place against pulling out by contact of the latches 7 with two first blocking walls 9.The hook holder 5 also has one beam 6, which fits into a blocking recess 10 of the adapter 2, limiting the movement of the hook clamp 3, preventing it from being pushed further into the adapter 2. Example II

[0023] A mounting system for hook clamps is made with a structure analogous to Example I, but applied to three hook clamps 3 on an adapter 2 with three pairs of holes 13. In each of the three systems, the hook holder 5 of the hook clamp 3 has two stabilizing elements 8 in the form of protrusions, which fit into corresponding first stabilizing recesses 11 or second stabilizing recesses 12, depending on the position selected for the mounting system.

[0024] The presented examples of the invention are illustrative only and do not limit the scope of the claimed invention.
