Description

COMPOSITION FOR CARING FOR AND / OR MAKING UP KERATIN MATERIALSTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition. In particular, the present invention relates to a composition for caring for and / or making up keratin materials. In addition, the present invention also relates to a non-therapeutic method for caring for and / or making up keratin materials.BACKGROUND ART

[0002] The development of formulations dedicated to caring for and / or making up the skin and / or lips, is permanent.

[0003] A matte aspect like cashmere of a cosmetic composition is preferable because it could provide more pleasant feeling to use.

[0004] It is desired a cosmetic composition has good texture such as a "cushion" feeling during application. The "cushion feeling" here means that the fingers feel the presence of the cosmetic composition, which could be felt as if a cushion were present between the fingers.

[0005] However, it is difficult for conventional cosmetic composition to satisfy the above requirements at the same time.

[0006] Thus, there is still a need to formulate a composition, preferably for caring for and / or making up keratin materials, especially the skin, which has a matte aspect and / or can deliver a cushion feeling.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The inventors have now discovered that it is possible to formulate such compositions having the desired properties as described above.

[0008] Specifically, the inventors have discovered that it is possible to formulate compositions for caring for and / or making up keratin materials, especially the skin, which have a matte aspect and / or can deliver a cushion feeling.

[0009] Accordingly, in a first aspect, the present invention relates to a composition, preferably for caring for and / or making up keratin materials, comprising the following components:

[0010] (i) at least 0.1 wt. %of at least one starch grafted with an acrylic polymer, relative to the total weight of the composition;

[0011] (ii) at least one hydroxyalkyl-modified starch; and

[0012] (iii) at least one alkyl polyglucoside.

[0013] The inventors have found that the composition according to the present invention has a matte aspect and / or deliver a cushion feeling.

[0014] In a second aspect, the present invention relates to a non-therapeutic method for caring for and / or making up keratin materials, comprising applying the composition according to the present invention to the keratin materials.

[0015] Other subjects and characteristics, aspects and advantages of the present invention will be set forth in the description that follows, and in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the present invention.DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0159] Matte aspect

[0160] Matte aspect was evaluated as follows. Each composition of invention examples 1-2 and comparative examples 1-6 was coated on a substrate to form a film with a thickness of 25μm. The substrate with the film was put into an oven at 37℃ for 10 minutes, and the film was then measured with a Hazemeter of haze-gard i_4775 from BYK.

[0161] The higher of the haze (%) , the higher matte of the tested composition. For the purpose of the present invention, the haze of more than 10%is acceptable. Cushion feeling

[0164] 1: means a very less cushion feeling,

[0165] 2: means a slight cushion feeling,

[0166] 3: means a moderate cushion feeling,

[0167] 4: means a moderate to strong cushion feeling,

[0168] 5: means a very strong cushion feeling.

[0169] During the test, dimethicone (and) polysilicone-11 was used as a standard sample and the cushion feeling delivered thereby was scored as 5.

[0170] For the purpose of the present invention, the higher of score value, the better of transforming feeling.

[0171] The results of the haze of each composition of invention examples 1-2 and comparative examples 1-6 and cushion feeling delivered thereby were summarized in Table 3.
