Abstract

The present invention relates to a mannequin comprising a central piece (100) which reproduces a person's waist; a first rod (1) and a second rod (2) which reproduce contour lines of the legs; a third rod (3) which reproduces the perimeter of a body from the waist to the neck without the arms; a fourth rod (4) and a fifth rod (5) which reproduce a contour of the arms and which are joined to the third rod (3) in the area corresponding to the shoulders; and a sixth rod (6) and a seventh rod (7) which reproduce a contour of a person's abdomen, chest and shoulder. According to the invention, the first rod (1) and the second rod (2) are joined to the central piece (100) on one side of the central piece (100), and the third rod (3), the fourth rod (4) and the fifth rod (5) are joined to the central piece (100) on the other side.

[0004] The present invention relates to a mannequin comprising a plurality of metal rods such that said rods are positioned to provide support for garments placed on the mannequin, simulating the external shape of a body. The mannequin of the invention is applicable in the fashion industry.

[0005] Background of the invention

[0006] When selling clothing, it's important for a buyer to see the clothes on display and how they look before even trying them on. Mannequins, which reproduce a more or less idealized human figure, have long been used to display clothing, with garments placed on them so they are visible.

[0007] Mannequins used to display clothing are traditionally wooden or plastic figures that replicate the contours of the human body so that when clothes are placed on the mannequin, they sit the same way they would on a person. These mannequins have the problem of weight and the inconvenience of moving very large items, but there are no alternatives on the market for displaying life-size clothing.

[0008] Computer applications have been developed that digitally reproduce the garment and, by capturing a person's image, place the garment on the person so they can see how it looks.

[0009] However, the development of the computer application does not allow the garment to be displayed in a physical store to promote the sale of any type of garment or any specific brand.

[0032] The mannequin of the invention comprises a third rod (3) that reproduces the perimeter of a body from the waist to the neck without the arms, the third metal rod (3) being attached to the central piece (100). Attached to the third rod (2) in the area corresponding to one of the shoulders, the mannequin of the invention comprises a fourth rod (4) that reproduces the outline of an arm, and also attached to the third rod (3) in the area corresponding to another of the shoulders, the mannequin of the invention comprises a fifth rod (5) that reproduces the outline of another arm.

CLAIMS 1. Mannequin characterized in that it comprises: a central piece (100) that reproduces the waist of a person; a first rod (1) that reproduces a line of the outline of a first leg; a second rod (2) that reproduces a line of the outline of a second leg; a third rod (3) that reproduces the perimeter of a body from the waist to the neck without the arms; a fourth rod (4) that reproduces the outline of an arm also joined to the third rod (3) in the area corresponding to another of the shoulders; a fifth rod (5) that reproduces the outline of another arm also joined to the third rod (3) in the area corresponding to another of the shoulders; a sixth rod (6) that reproduces a first outline of the abdomen, chest and shoulder of a person; and a seventh rod (7) that reproduces a second outline of the abdomen, chest and shoulder of a person;where the first rod (1) and the second rod (2) are attached to the center piece (100) on one side of the center piece (100), and the third rod (3) is attached to the center piece (100) on a side opposite to the attachment of the first rod (1) and the second rod (2).; 2. Mannequin, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises an eighth rod (8) that reproduces the outline of a person's head, said eighth rod (8) being joined to the third rod (3) in a position between the sixth rod (6) and the seventh rod (7).

3. Mannequin, according to claim 1, characterized in that: the first rod (1) is metallic; the second rod (2) is metallic; the third rod (3) is metallic; the fourth rod (4) is metallic; the fifth rod (5) is metallic; the sixth rod (6) is metallic; and the seventh rod (7) is metallic.

4. Mannequin, according to claim 2, characterized in that the eighth rod (7) is metallic.

5. Mannequin, according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the central piece (100) is metallic.
