Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] MANIKIN

[0003] Field of invention

[0004] The present invention relates to a mannequin comprising a plurality of metal rods such that said rods are positioned to provide support for garments placed on the mannequin, simulating the external shape of a body. The mannequin of the invention is applicable in the fashion industry.

[0005] Background of the invention

[0006] When selling clothing, it's important for a buyer to see the clothes on display and how they look before even trying them on. Mannequins, which reproduce a more or less idealized human figure, have long been used to display clothing, with garments placed on them so they are visible.

[0007] Mannequins used to display clothing are traditionally wooden or plastic figures that replicate the contours of the human body so that when clothes are placed on the mannequin, they sit the same way they would on a person. These mannequins have the problem of weight and the inconvenience of moving very large items, but there are no alternatives on the market for displaying life-size clothing.

[0008] Computer applications have been developed that digitally reproduce the garment and, by capturing a person's image, place the garment on the person so they can see how it looks.

[0009] However, the development of the computer application does not allow the garment to be displayed in a physical store to promote the sale of any type of garment or any specific brand.

[0010] Description of the invention

[0011] The invention relates to a mannequin comprising a central piece that reproduces a person's waist; a first rod that reproduces a line of the outline of a first leg; a second rod that reproduces a line of the outline of a second leg; a third rod that reproduces the perimeter of a body from the waist to the neck without the arms; a fourth rod that reproduces the outline of an arm, also joined to the third rod in the area corresponding to another shoulder; a fifth rod that reproduces the outline of another arm, also joined to the third rod in the area corresponding to another shoulder; a sixth rod that reproduces a first outline of a person's abdomen, chest, and shoulder; and a seventh rod that reproduces a second outline of a person's abdomen, chest, and shoulder.where the first rod and the second rod are attached to the center piece on one side of the center piece, and the third rod is attached to the center piece on a side opposite to the attachment of the first rod and the second rod.;

[0012] In an embodiment of the mannequin that is the subject of the invention, the first rod is metallic, the second rod is metallic, the third rod is metallic, the fourth rod is metallic, the fifth rod is metallic, the sixth rod is metallic, and the seventh rod is metallic.

[0013] The mannequin that is the subject of the invention may also comprise an eighth rod that reproduces the outline of a person's head, said eighth rod being attached to the third rod in a position between the sixth rod and the seventh rod.

[0014] In the construction of the mannequin that has an eighth rod, said eighth rod can also be metallic.

[0015] In one embodiment of the mannequin that is the subject of the invention, the central piece is metallic.

[0016] The mannequin that is the subject of the invention has the advantage over mannequins of the prior art that the garment placed on the mannequin has the effect of a garment suspended in the air, which provides a feeling of elegance for the garment placed on the mannequin.

[0017] Brief description of the figures

[0018] To complement the description that follows and to help in a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied by a set of drawings based on which the innovations and advantages of the object of the invention will be more easily understood.

[0030] Preferred embodiment of the invention

[0031] The object of the invention is a mannequin comprising a central piece (100) that reproduces the waist of a person, a first rod (1) that reproduces a line of the outline of a first leg, a second rod (2) that reproduces a line of the outline of a second leg.

[0032] The mannequin of the invention comprises a third rod (3) that reproduces the perimeter of a body from the waist to the neck without the arms, the third metal rod (3) being attached to the central piece (100). Attached to the third rod (2) in the area corresponding to one of the shoulders, the mannequin of the invention comprises a fourth rod (4) that reproduces the outline of an arm, and also attached to the third rod (3) in the area corresponding to another of the shoulders, the mannequin of the invention comprises a fifth rod (5) that reproduces the outline of another arm.

[0033] The mannequin that is the subject of the invention also comprises a sixth rod (6) that reproduces a first outline of a person's abdomen, chest and shoulder and a seventh rod (7) that reproduces a second outline of a person's abdomen, chest and shoulder.

[0034] The first rod (1) and the second rod (2) represent a person's legs and, in the preferred embodiment, are positioned parallel to each other, with one leg positioned further forward than the other. The third rod (2) and the fourth rod (4) are attached to the third rod (2) so that they represent a person's arms in any desired position.

[0035] The mannequin that is the subject of the invention may comprise an eighth rod (8) that reproduces the outline of a person's head, attached to the third rod (3) in a position between the sixth rod (6) and the seventh rod (7).
