[0003] Utility Model Registration No. 3240450
[0004] In Patent Document 1, the parts that come out of the bath additives are used simply as mascot toys, and there are issues with the entertainment value of the bath additives themselves and the way the toys are enjoyed.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a highly interesting solid bath additive.
[0006] One embodiment of the solid bath additive of the present invention is a solid bath additive comprising a water-soluble main body and a water-insoluble secondary body, the secondary body including a first secondary body selected from a first type of secondary body that floats on water and a second type of secondary body that sinks in water, the main body being configured to contain the first secondary body before dissolution and to allow the first secondary body to be visible after dissolution.

[0009] (First Aspect) Hereinafter, a first aspect of the solid bath additive representing one aspect of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the solid bath additive 1. Fig. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing an example of the interior of the solid bath additive 1.
[0010] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the solid bath additive 1 comprises a water-soluble, spherical main body 10 and a water-insoluble secondary body 20 inside the main body 10. The main body 10 covers the secondary body 20 of the toy so that it cannot be seen until the solid bath additive 1 is dissolved in water or hot water. The secondary body 20 may be housed in either a form in which multiple secondary bodies 20 are buried within the main body 10, as shown in Figure 2, or a form in which a storage space is formed inside the main body 10 and the secondary bodies 20 are housed within the storage space.
[0011] The spherical main body 10 has an opaque color and its outer surface 10s has, for example, small rough irregularities. This rough irregularity increases the surface area, making it more soluble. The main body 10 is made of a water-soluble material whose color dissolves in the surrounding water or hot water. A parting line 10j is formed around the outer periphery of the outer surface 10s. This is the configuration when the main body 10 is formed by injection molding, for example. However, in the case of molding two hemispheres with internal storage spaces joined together, this parting line 10j serves as the connecting portion of the hemispheres.
[0012] The secondary body 20 includes, for example, a first secondary body 21 resembling a character doll and a barrel-shaped second secondary body 22. The first secondary body 21 is composed of either a first type of secondary body that floats on water or a second type of secondary body that sinks in water, but in this embodiment, the first secondary body 21 is composed of polyvinyl chloride, a material that sinks in water. On the other hand, the second secondary body 22 is always composed of a material that floats on water, and is composed of the same material as the first type of secondary body, for example, thermoplastic rubber.
[0013] In this embodiment, the first secondary body 21 is configured as a secondary body of the second type that sinks in water, but as will be described later, it may also be configured as a secondary body of the first type that floats in water. In other words, whether the first secondary body 21 floats in water is determined appropriately depending on the character that the first secondary body 21 imitates, and whether it floats or sinks can only be determined once the main body 10 dissolves.
[0014] The first secondary body 21 and the second secondary body 22 are connected by a string-like connecting part 40. As will be described later, a plate-like third secondary body 23 is provided which can be connected to the second secondary body 22. As the main body 10 is spherical as described above, it can be rolled around for play.
[0015] Figure 3 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of the solid bath additive 1 shown in Figure 1 being poured into bathwater 50. In the solid bath additive 1, the main body 10 is constructed so as to be heavy enough to sink in water. For example, even if the secondary body 20 contained within the main body 10 is constructed so as to float in water, when the solid bath additive 1 is poured into bathwater 50, it sinks together with the secondary body 20, which is constructed so as to float in water, as shown in Figure 3. Therefore, when the solid bath additive 1 is initially poured into bathwater 50, the weight of the main body 10 causes the secondary body 20 to sink so that it also reaches the bottom 52 of the bathtub.
[0016] Figure 4 is an explanatory diagram showing the state in which the first secondary body 21 is covered by the dissolving main body, and the second secondary body 22 is in the process of floating up. A solid bath additive 1 is dropped into bathwater 50, and the main body 10 dissolves over time. Then, for example, the second secondary body 22 and connecting portion 40, which are contained near the outer surface 10s of the main body 10, begin to float up due to their buoyancy as the surrounding main body 10 dissolves, as shown in Figure 4. Then, the second secondary body 22 floats above the liquid surface 51 when the connecting portion 40 is released from the main body 10. Furthermore, the third secondary body 23, which is made of a buoyant material, also floats above the liquid surface 51 when released from the main body 10.
[0017] On the other hand, when the main body 10 remains around the first secondary body 21, the character of the main body 10 cannot be seen at all. Also, when the main body 10 has dissolved, the bath water 50 turns a predetermined color, making it difficult to identify the character from above the liquid surface 51.
[0018] FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of the state of the secondary body 20 after the main body 10 has dissolved. After being placed in the bathwater 50, the main body 10 dissolves over time, gradually increasing the visible portion of the character. As shown in FIG. 5, the character's true form gradually becomes clear, but it may be difficult to distinguish. That is, because the character is viewed only from above the liquid surface 51, the shape of the first secondary body 21 cannot be clearly seen depending on the shape of the character. In this state, the second secondary body 22 floats on the liquid surface 51 and is connected to the first secondary body 21 by the connecting part 40. Therefore, the first secondary body 21 can be seen by holding the second secondary body 22 with the hand 35 and pulling up the first secondary body 21. The third secondary body 23 also floats on the liquid surface 51. Furthermore, when the surface 23a of the third secondary body 23 is floating facing upward, it may be possible to determine which character it is by looking at the message section 23f written on the surface 23a, without having to pull the first secondary body 21 out of the bath water 50.
[0019] Figure 6 is a perspective view showing the structure of the secondary body 20. As shown in Figure 6, the first secondary body 21, second secondary body 22, and third secondary body 23 of the secondary body 20 are connected by a string-like connecting part 40 between the doll's head of the first secondary body 21 and the lower end 22c of the second secondary body 22. A cylindrical connecting recess 21d, for example, is provided at the lower end of the torso 21c of the first secondary body 21. Meanwhile, a cylindrical pin 22d that can fit into the connecting recess 21d is protruded from the upper end of the second secondary body 22.
[0020] The third sub-body 23 has a message section 23f (see FIG. 8) on its front side that displays the character's name and other relevant text, and a connecting pin 23p on its back side 23b. The third sub-body 23 is attached to the second sub-body 22 by fitting the connecting pin 23p into an attachment hole 22h provided on the side of the second sub-body 22.
[0021] Figure 7 is an exploded perspective view of the main parts of the secondary body 20. As shown in Figure 7, the first secondary body 21 is configured so that the hair portion of the head can be separated into a rear portion 21a and a front portion 21b. The rear portion 21a has a first housing recess 21i that opens upward and forward and receives one end 42 of the connecting portion 40. A pair of head connecting recesses 21e are provided on both the left and right sides of the first housing recess 21i. Meanwhile, the front portion 21b has a pair of head connecting protrusions 21g that protrude so as to be able to fit into the head connecting recesses 21e. The front portion 21b also has a hook portion 21f that can be fitted into the first housing recess 21i and that can clamp the string portion 41 of the connecting portion 40. That is, when assembling the rear portion 21a and the front portion 21b, the hook portion 21f is pushed in so as to pinch the string portion 41 of the connecting portion 40, and the hook portion 21f locks the large-diameter end portion 42 of the connecting portion 40 so that it does not come loose.
[0022] The second sub-body 22 is configured such that the vertically divided half-body portions 22a and 22b are detachably attached by, for example, an interlocking structure of interlocking locking portions 22g and 22j. The second sub-body 22 is provided with a second housing portion 22e on the lower end portion 22c side that houses the other end 43 of the connecting portion 40. A space S adjacent to the second housing portion 22e and larger than the second housing portion 22e is formed above the second housing portion 22e.
[0023] The other end 43 includes, for example, a sleeve-shaped sleeve main body 43a through which the string portion 41 passes, and an adjustment operation portion 43b that is movable in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the string portion 41 that passes through the sleeve main body 43a and can lock the string portion 41. An end 41e of the string portion 41 is pulled out so as to be accommodated in the space S. Therefore, the length of the exposed portion of the connecting portion 40 is adjustable by the length adjustment function of the other end 43.
[0024] FIG. 8 is a front view showing the assembled display state of the secondary body 20 in the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 8, the secondary body 20 can be displayed in an assembled state with the first secondary body 21, second secondary body 22, and third secondary body 23. For example, the second secondary body 22 can be directly connected to and supported by the first secondary body 21 at its upper portion, and placed on the mounting section 60 as a base for the first secondary body 21. Furthermore, the message section 23f of the third secondary body 23 in its displayed state is displayed on the front side of the side of the second secondary body 22, creating a decorative effect. The connecting section 40 may remain connected or may be detached. The detached connecting section 40 can be stored in the space S of the second secondary body 22 and the second storage section 22e.
[0025] (Second Aspect) The second aspect of the solid bath additive 1 will be described below with reference to Figures 9 to 12. Note that, with regard to the components of this aspect, the same components as those of the first aspect described above are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0026] Fig. 9 is a perspective view of the solid bath additive 1 in the second embodiment, showing its initial state after being placed in bathwater. Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view showing the interior of the main body 10 in the second embodiment. The solid bath additive 1 shown in Figs. 9 and 10 has a spherical main body 10, similar to the first embodiment, but the barrel-shaped second sub-body 22 is not enclosed within the main body 10 but protrudes outward, connected to the first sub-body 21 within the main body 10 via a connecting portion 40. The main body 10 also contains a plate-shaped third sub-body 23, similar to the first embodiment. When the solid bath additive 1 is placed in bathwater 50, as shown in Fig. 9, the entire solid bath additive 1 is submerged.
[0027] Figure 11 is a schematic diagram showing the state after the main body 10 has dissolved in the second embodiment. The first secondary body 21 appears after a predetermined time has passed since the solid bath additive 1 was added to the bath water 50 and the main body 10 has dissolved. Here, the second secondary body 22 is configured to float on water, as in the first embodiment, but the first secondary body 21 is configured to float on water in accordance with its appearance as a secondary body of the first type. For example, the first secondary body 21 is configured to resemble a sailboat and is configured to float on water, as shown in Figure 11.
[0028] FIG. 12 is a front view showing the assembled display state of the secondary body 20 in the second embodiment. As shown in FIG. 12, the secondary body 20 in this embodiment can be displayed in the assembled state of the first secondary body 21, second secondary body 22, and third secondary body 23, as in the first embodiment. In this case, for example, the second secondary body 22 functions as a base for the first secondary body 21, as in the first embodiment. For example, the cylindrical pin 22d on the upper part of the second secondary body 22 is fitted into the connecting recess 21d (see FIG. 11) formed in the bottom portion of the first secondary body 21, thereby connecting and supporting the first secondary body 21 and placing it on the mounting portion 60. Furthermore, the message portion 23f of the third secondary body 23 in its display state is displayed and decorated to correspond to the character of the first secondary body 21.
[0029] As described above, in the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, it is not possible to know whether the water-insoluble secondary body contained in the solid bath additive 1 will float or sink in water, which makes it possible to present an unpredictable toy shape after the main body 10 of the solid bath additive 1 dissolves.
[0030] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the secondary body 20 is provided with a first secondary body 21 whose floating or sinking is unpredictable, and a second secondary body 22 that is designed to always float. This allows the use of, for example, a product that floats entirely and a product that only sinks, and makes it possible to diversify the toy shapes by taking advantage of this floating and sinking property.
[0031] In addition, in the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the first sub-body 21 and the second sub-body 22 are connected by the connecting part 40, so that the toy can be provided in a variety of forms, for example, with both of them floating, or with one floating and the other sinking. In particular, by determining whether the form is a sinking form or a floating form depending on the character, the characteristics of the character can be effectively portrayed.
[0032] Furthermore, in the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the connecting portion 40 is contained within the main body portion 10, so that the fact that multiple components are connected by the connecting portion 40 is not visible, providing an unexpected shape.
[0033] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the first secondary body 21 and the second secondary body 22 are connected by the connecting part 40, but they can also be directly connected at other locations without the connecting part 40. This direct connection allows the toy to take on other shapes. Furthermore, the second secondary body 22 functions as a base supporting the first secondary body 21, making it easier to display the toy in a directly connected state.
[0034] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the connecting part 40 is a string-like member and the connecting length is adjustable, so that the connecting length can be set to correspond to the relationship between the characters of the first secondary body 21 and the second secondary body 22. Furthermore, because the connecting length can be adjusted by the user, it is possible to play with different lengths of the connecting part 40. Furthermore, because the connecting part 40 is string-like, even in an embodiment in which one of the connected first secondary body 21 and second secondary body 22 is not enclosed within the main body 10, the solid bath additive 1 can be provided as a single unit connected by a string.
[0035] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the floating or sinking of the secondary body 20 is determined by the material, so that the floating or sinking of the toy can be easily set.
[0036] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the secondary body 20 is configured to have a space S formed inside, so that the floating structure can be set regardless of the material. This makes it possible to achieve a difference in floating or sinking even when the entire secondary body 20 is made of a material that sinks in water. As a result, different functions can be achieved using the same material, which is advantageous in terms of manufacturing costs.
[0037] In the solid bath additive 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is spherical, so that the main body 10 can be rolled around and played with.
[0038] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, in the above embodiment, the shape of the main body 10 is spherical, but this is not limited to this configuration and may also be, for example, a polyhedral configuration.
