Abstract

According to the present disclosure, a method for providing information by an electronic device is disclosed. [0001] The present disclosure relates to a device for providing information and a method thereof. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to an electronic device and a method thereof, which determine whether one or more contents included in a video are inappropriate for providing to a target user, and, if there is first content inappropriate for providing to the target user, confirm that a relationship between a time point on a first video played by the target user and a time interval on the first video for the first content satisfies a set condition, and adjusts a viewing time of the first video for the target user so that a video from a time point after the time interval is provided.
