Claims

SIL0I01WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1. A treatment device, comprising: an elongated body extending between a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the elongated body includes a first portion adjacent to the proximal end extending along a first longitudinal axis and a second portion adjacent to the distal end having a curved profile; a first handle selectively adjustable along a length of the elongated body; a receiver attached to a distal end of the elongated body; a head assembly selectively attachable to the receiver, wherein the head assembly includes an engagement portion in communication with a driver in the head assembly; and an actuator configured to actuate the driver in the head assembly.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the head assembly includes a fluid dispensing assembly.

3. The device of claim 2. wherein the fluid dispensing assembly includes a cartridge holder at least partially defining a chamber with the chamber configured to accept a fluid cartridge.

4. The device of claim 3, wherein the actuator is in communication with the driver for selectively applying pressure to the fluid cartridge to dispense a fluid.

5. The device of claim 4, wherein the fluid dispensing assembly includes a plunger and the driver includes an electric drive motor configured to move the plunger in the fluid dispensing assembly between a plurality of different longitudinal positions.

6. The device of claim 4, wherein the fluid dispensing assembly includes a plunger and the actuator includes a manually driven mechanical driver configured to move the plunger between a plurality of different longitudinal positions.

7. The device of claim 6, wherein the chamber is pivotably attached relative to the head assembly between a first position allowing access into the chamber and a second position enclosing the chamber.SIL01018. The device of claim 7, including a chamber release assembly configured to retain the chamber in the second position when a plunger in the fluid dispensing assembly is in an extended position.

The device of claim 3, wherein the engagement portion includes a spherical applicator in fluid communication with the cartridge holder and the spherical applicator is configured to roll relative to a body of the engagement portion for transferring a fluid onto a surface of the spherical applicator.

10. The device of claim 9, wherein the engagement portion is selectively attachable to the fluid dispensing assembly.

11. The device of claim 1 , wherein the elongated body includes telescoping segments adjacent to the proximal end.

12. The device of claim 1, including a selectively adjustable handle attached to the proximal end, wherein the selectively adjustable handle is movable between one of a plurality of rotational positions relative to the proximal end of the elongated body.

13. The device of claim 1, wherein the receiver is selectively adjustable between one of a plurality of rotational positions relative to the distal end of the elongated body.

14. The device of claim 1, wherein the receiver includes one of a keyed mating projection or a keyed mating recess that engages the other of the keyed mating projection or the keyed mating recess on the head assembly.

15. The device of claim 14, including a retainer assembly having a spring loaded pin configured to retain the receiver relative to the head assembly when the pin is in a first position and release the receiver to the head assembly when the pin is in a second position.

16. The device of claim 1, wherein the engagement portion includes one of a reciprocating massager or an electric shaver.SIL010117. The device of claim 1, including a cam having an arm and the driver includes an electric motor configured to rotate the cam having the arm to engage a fluid cartridge.

The device of claim 2, wherein the engagement portion includes a roller applicator in fluid communication with a cartridge holder on the fluid dispensing assembly with the roller applicator including a cylindrical roller configured to spin around an axis of rotation relative to the fluid dispensing assembly for transferring a fluid onto the roller applicator.

19. A method of operating a treatment device, the method comprising: positioning a treatment device relative to a desired area of treatment, wherein the treatment device includes: an elongated body extending between a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the elongated body includes a first portion adjacent the proximal end extending along a first longitudinal axis and a second portion adjacent to the distal end having a curved profile; a first handle selectively adjustable along a length of the elongated body; a receiver attached to a distal end of the elongated body; a head assembly selectively attachable to the receiver, wherein the head assembly includes an engagement portion in communication with a driver in the head assembly; and an actuator configured to actuate the driver in the head assembly; and engaging the actuator on the treatment device to activate the driver in the head assembly.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein the head assembly includes a fluid dispensing assembly with the driver configured to move a plunger between a plurality of longitudinal positions.
