Abstract
Description
Support assembly
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of electronic device support, in particular to a support assembly.
[0002] The support assembly is an electronic device accessory, which is usually installed on the back of a portable electronic device (such as a mobile phone) and can protect, decorate or support the electronic device. The electronic device can be wirelessly charged by using the principle of electromagnetic induction. In the related art, in order to meet the strength of supporting the electronic device, at least part of the components of the support assembly are made of metal material. When the support assembly is in the electromagnetic induction area of the wireless charging, the distribution of the electromagnetic field will be changed, which will affect the electromagnetic induction between the wireless charging device and the electronic device. Some electronic devices have a wireless charging foreign object detection function, which may cause the electronic device to be disconnected. The support assembly cannot be adapted to these electronic devices, and the compatibility of the support assembly is poor.
[0003] The present application provides a support assembly, which can solve the problem of poor compatibility of the support assembly.
[0004] To solve the above technical problems, the support assembly provided by the present application includes a shell and a support piece. The support piece is made of metal material and is movably connected to one side of the shell. A first through hole is formed in the support piece. At least one first gap is formed in the outer periphery of the first through hole. The first gap is in communication with the first through hole. The first gap disconnects the support piece at the outer periphery of the first through hole, so as to reduce the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support piece along the circumference of the first through hole.
[0005] The support assembly provided by the present application has at least one first gap formed in the outer periphery of the first through hole. The first gap disconnects the support piece at the outer periphery of the first through hole. The first gap breaks the continuity of the continuous extension of the support piece along the circumference of the first through hole, reduces the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support piece along the circumference of the first through hole, and controls the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support piece within the limit of the foreign object detection size during the wireless charging of the electronic device. This prevents the electronic device from being disconnected. The support assembly can be adapted to the electronic device with the wireless charging foreign object detection function, thereby improving the compatibility of the support assembly.

For example, the processes, methods, systems, products or devices containing a series of steps or units are not limited to the listed steps or units, but can optionally include steps or units not listed, or can optionally include other steps or components inherent to these processes, methods, products or devices.
[0019] Reference herein to "an embodiment" means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment can be included in at least one embodiment of the application. The appearances of the phrase that the phrase in various places in the specification are not necessarily all referring to the same embodiment, nor are they necessarily mutually exclusive of other embodiments. It is explicitly and implicitly understood that the embodiments described herein can be combined with other embodiments.
[0020] The present application provides a support assembly. Referring to FIGS. 1-6, the support assembly 100 can include a shell 10 and a support 20. The shell 10 can be used to accommodate an electronic device. Exemplarily, the electronic device can be a mobile phone or a tablet computer. The shell 10 can be provided with holes corresponding to positions of components of the electronic device such as a camera, a key, and a data interface, so that the components such as the camera, the key, and the data interface are exposed to the shell 10. The shell 10 can be made of one or more of plastic, leather, silicone, ceramic, or glass. The shell 10 can not only decorate the electronic device to improve the appearance performance of the electronic device, but also protect the electronic device, having the functions of anti-falling, anti-scratching, waterproofing, and anti-vibration. The support 20 is used to support the electronic device, which can meet the support needs of the user when using the electronic device, and facilitate the user to watch the screen or operate the electronic device. The support 20 is made of metal. The metal has high strength and can bear a large load, so that the support 20 can provide stable support for the electronic device. The support 20 is movably connected to one side of the shell 10. Specifically, the support 20 can be connected to the other side of the shell 10 accommodating the electronic device, so as to facilitate supporting the electronic device. The support 20 can be directly connected to the shell 10, or indirectly connected to the shell 10 through other components. The support 20 and the shell 10 are movably connected, so that the support 20 and the shell 10 can move relatively, such as rotating or sliding, so as to change the support height or angle of the support 20 to the electronic device, to meet the individual needs of the user.
[0021] Referring to FIG. 3, the support 20 is provided with a first through hole 21. The first through hole 21 can be circular, elliptical, polygonal, or other shapes. The user's fingers can pass through the first through hole 21, and then hold the electronic device through the support 20. The support 20 is further provided with at least one first gap 22 at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21. The number of the first gaps 22 can be one, two, three, or more, which is not specifically limited here. The first gap 22 communicates with the first through hole 21, and the first gap 22 disconnects the support 20 at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21, so as to reduce the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21. By disconnecting the support 20 at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 through the first gap 22, the first gap 22 breaks the continuity of the support 20 extending along the circumference of the first through hole 21, reduces the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21, so that the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 can be controlled within the limit of the foreign object detection size when the electronic device is wirelessly charged, preventing the electronic device from being disconnected, and the support assembly 100 can be adapted to the electronic device with the function of foreign object detection when wirelessly charging, thereby improving the compatibility of the support assembly 100.
[0022] The first gap 22 can be arranged at the connection between the support 20 and the housing 10, or outside the connection between the support 20 and the housing 10. Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 6, in an embodiment, one of the first gaps 22 is arranged at the connection between the support 20 and the housing 10, and the two ends of the support 20 separated by the first gap 22 are connected to the housing 10 respectively. Arranging one of the first gaps 22 at the connection between the support 20 and the housing 10 allows the relatively independent segments of the support 20 separated by the first gap 22 to be connected to each other through the housing 10, thereby enhancing the integrity of the support 20.
[0023] As mentioned above, the support 20 can be directly connected to the housing 10, or indirectly connected to the housing 10 through other components. Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, in an embodiment, the support assembly 100 comprises a rotating member 40, and the support 20 is connected to the housing 10 through the rotating member 40. One of the first gaps 22 is arranged at the connection between the support 20 and the rotating member 40, and the two ends of the support 20 separated by the first gap 22 are connected to the rotating member 40 respectively. The housing 10 is provided with a circular mounting hole 11. The mounting hole 11 can be a through hole or a blind hole, i.e. the mounting hole 11 can penetrate through opposite sides of the housing 10, or only penetrate through the side of the housing 10 close to the support 20. The rotating member 40 can be substantially disc-shaped, and the area of the rotating member 40 is comparable to the opening area of the mounting hole 11. The rotating member 40 is rotatably connected to the mounting hole 11 of the housing 10, and the rotating member 40 can rotate in the plane of the mounting hole 11. The support 20 is rotatably connected to one side of the rotating member 40, and the support 20 can change the included angle between the support 20 and the housing 10 by rotating. Arranging the rotating member 40 rotatably connected to the mounting hole 11 of the housing 10, and the support 20 rotatably connected to one side of the rotating member 40 allows the support 20 to be connected to the housing 10 through the rotating member 40. The support 20 can change the included angle between the support 20 and the housing 10 by relatively rotating with the rotating member 40, so as to change the height of the supported electronic device. The support 20 can also rotate in the plane of the mounting hole 11 under the driving of the rotating member 40, so as to change the angle of the supported electronic device, thereby increasing the degree of freedom of rotation of the support 20, and providing different height and angle supports for the electronic device to meet the individual needs of users.
[0024] The support 20 can be directly rotationally connected with the rotating member 40. For example, the rotating member 40 is provided with a rotating shaft, and the support 20 is provided with a shaft sleeve. The shaft sleeve of the support 20 is sleeved on the rotating shaft of the rotating member 40, and the support 20 can change the included angle between the support 20 and the shell 10 when rotating around the rotating shaft. Generally, the rotating connection is usually formed by stamping, and the processing technology is relatively complex. In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the support assembly 100 includes a connecting assembly 50, and the support 20 is rotationally connected with the rotating member 40 through the connecting assembly 50. One first gap 22 is arranged at the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50, and the two ends of the support 20 disconnected by the first gap 22 are respectively connected to the connecting assembly 50. The support 20 is rotationally connected with the rotating member 40 through the connecting assembly 50, so that the connecting assembly 50 is relatively independent of the support 20 and the rotating member 40. The support 20 and the rotating member 40 do not need to be provided with components with complex processing technology, and the processing technology of the support 20 and the rotating member 40 can be simplified.
[0025] The connecting assembly 50 can be made of metal or non-metal. In an embodiment, the connecting assembly 50 is made of metal. Compared with non-metal, metal has higher strength, and the connecting assembly 50 made of metal can improve the reliability of the connection between the support 20 and the rotating member 40. The connecting assembly 50 made of metal is connected at the first gap 22 of the support 20, which will make the disconnected support 20 connected and conducted through the connecting assembly 50, thereby changing the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21, which may cause the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 to exceed the limit value of the foreign object detection size during wireless charging of the electronic device. To overcome the above problem, the connecting assembly 50 is provided with a second gap 55 at the position corresponding to the first gap 22 of the support 20, and the second gap 55 disconnects the connecting assembly 50. By disconnecting the connecting assembly 50 through the second gap 55, the disconnected support 20 can be prevented from being connected and conducted through the connecting assembly 50, thereby ensuring that the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 is within the limit value of the foreign object detection size during wireless charging of the electronic device.
[0026] As described above, the number of first gaps 22 can be one, two, three or more. Referring to FIG. 6, in an embodiment, the number of first gaps 22 is two. By setting the number of first gaps 22 to two, on the one hand, the two first gaps 22 can make the support 20 disconnected at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 to form two relatively independent sections, thereby reducing the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21; on the other hand, the number of first gaps 22 is relatively small, and the number of independent sections formed by the first gap 22 disconnecting the support 20 is correspondingly small, which is conducive to improving the integrity of the support 20.
[0027] A gap can be formed at the first gap 22 of the support 20 to break the continuity of the support 20 extending along the first through hole 21 in the circumferential direction. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 and FIG. 6, the first gap 22 is two, one of which is arranged at the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50, and the other is arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50, and the first gap 22 is provided with a separation piece 30 at the opening. The separation piece 30 is connected with the support 20, and the separation piece 30 is made of non-metal material. By arranging the separation piece 30 at the opening of the first gap 22, the separation piece 30 is connected with the support 20, so that the separation piece 30 fills the first gap 22 of the support 20, and the two relatively independent sections formed by the first gap 22 of the support 20 can be connected with each other through the separation piece 30, thereby enhancing the integrity of the support 20 and improving the strength of the support 20. The separation piece 30 is made of non-metal material, so that the separation piece 30 is not conductive, and the support 20 disconnected by the first gap 22 cannot be connected and conducted through the separation piece 30, so that the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 along the first through hole 21 in the circumferential direction cannot be changed, and the maximum size of the continuous extension of the support 20 can still be controlled within the limit of the foreign object detection size during wireless charging of the electronic device. Alternatively, the material of the separation piece 30 is one of plastic, silica gel, ceramic or glass.
[0028] The connection between the separation piece 30 and the support 20 can be adhesive, clamping or screwing. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 6, in an embodiment, the support 20 is provided with a plurality of connection holes 23 at the connection of the separation piece 30, the material of the separation piece 30 is plastic, and the separation piece 30 is at least partially embedded in the connection hole 23. The separation piece 30 can be formed by in-mold injection molding, so that the separation piece 30 is at least partially embedded in the connection hole 23. By arranging the connection hole 23 on the support 20, the separation piece 30 is at least partially embedded in the connection hole 23, so that the separation piece 30 and the support 20 form a mechanical bite, and the connection between the separation piece 30 and the support 20 is more reliable.
[0029] Two first gaps 22 are arranged at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 of the support 20, thereby disconnecting the support 20 at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 to form two relatively independent sections. The specific position of the first gap 22 arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50 can be determined according to the limit value of the foreign object detection size when the electronic device is wirelessly charged, so as to control the maximum size of the support 20 extending continuously along the circumference of the first through hole 21. In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, the first through hole 21 is circular, and the line connecting the centers of the two first gaps 22 passes through the center of the first through hole 21. In this way, the two first gaps 22 are approximately symmetric about the center of the first through hole 21, thereby disconnecting the support 20 at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 to form two sections with approximately equal sizes, which facilitates the processing of the support 20 and is conducive to improving the appearance of the support assembly 100.
[0030] When the electronic device does not need to be supported, the support 20 can be accommodated in the mounting hole 11 of the shell 10 to reduce the space occupied by the support 20 and facilitate the use of the electronic device. In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, a notch 24 is arranged on the side of the support 20 close to the rotating member 40 in the accommodated state, and the notch 24 can be used as a catch position for the user to operate the support 20. When the support 20 is accommodated in the mounting hole 11 of the shell 10, the distance between the support 20 and the rotating member 40 is small, and the notch 24 arranged on the side of the support 20 close to the rotating member 40 can increase the distance between the support 20 and the rotating member 40, so that the user's fingers can at least partially extend into the notch 24, thereby facilitating the rotating operation of the support 20. Alternatively, the notch 24 is arranged at one of the first gaps 22 of the support 20, i.e., the position of the notch 24 is the same as that of one of the first gaps 22 arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50, which can reduce the volume of the isolation member 30 at the first gap 22 and save the material usage of the isolation member 30.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 7, in an embodiment, the first gaps 22 are two, both of which are arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the shell 10, and both of which are provided with the isolation members 30. Optionally, the first through hole 21 is circular, and the line connecting the centers of the two first gaps 22 passes through the center of the first through hole 21. Arranging two first gaps 22 can make the support 20 discontinuous at the outer periphery of the first through hole 21 to form two relatively independent sections, thereby reducing the maximum size of the support 20 extending continuously along the circumference of the first through hole 21. In addition, both of the two first gaps 22 are arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the shell 10, so that the connection between the support 20 and the shell 10 does not need to be provided with a gap, which can simplify the processing of the connection between the support 20 and the shell 10. For example, when the support 20 is rotationally connected to the rotating member 40 through the connecting assembly 50, the connecting assembly 50 does not need to be provided with the second gap 55, and the connecting assembly 50 has better integrity, which can ensure the strength of the connecting assembly 50 and simplify the processing technology of the connecting assembly 50. Both of the two first gaps 22 are provided with the isolation members 30, so that the two relatively independent sections of the support 20 formed by the first gaps 22 can be connected to each other through the isolation members 30, thereby enhancing the integrity of the support 20.
[0032] The size of the first gap 22 along the circumference of the first through hole 21 can be relatively small. For example, the size of the first gap 22 along the circumference of the first through hole 21 can be much smaller than the size of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21. Illustratively, the ratio of the size of the first gap 22 along the circumference of the first through hole 21 to the total size of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21 (when the support 20 is divided into multiple sections by the first gap 22, the total size is the sum of the sizes of the sections) is less than 0.1, so that the size of the first gap 22 along the circumference of the first through hole 21 is relatively small, which can reduce the influence of the first gap 22 on the integrity of the support 20.
[0033] The first gap 22 can also have a relatively large circumferential dimension along the first through hole 21. Referring to FIG. 8, in an embodiment, the first gap 22 is one, and the first gap 22 is arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50. Since there is only one first gap 22, and the first gap 22 is arranged outside the connection between the support 20 and the connecting assembly 50, the connecting assembly 50 does not need to be provided with a second gap 55, the connecting assembly 50 has better integrity, can ensure the strength of the connecting assembly 50, and can simplify the processing process of the connecting assembly 50. The first gap 22 is provided with a partition 30 extending along the circumference of the first through hole 21, and the circumferential dimension of the partition 30 along the first through hole 21 is greater than or equal to the continuous extension dimension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21. The partition 30 can be a section of a circular ring to fill the first gap 22 of the support 20. The circumferential dimension of the partition 30 along the first through hole 21 is greater than or equal to the continuous extension dimension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21, so that the partition 30 has a relatively large circumferential dimension along the first through hole 21, and accordingly, the first gap 22 has a large opening, which can reduce the maximum continuous extension dimension of the support 20 along the circumference of the first through hole 21, and is beneficial to control the maximum continuous extension dimension of the support 20 within the limit of the foreign object detection size during wireless charging of the electronic device.
[0034] In an embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9, the connecting assembly 50 includes a movable part 51, a fixed part 52, and a connecting shaft 53. One end of the movable part 51 is connected to the support 20, the other end of the movable part 51 is sleeved on the connecting shaft 53, one end of the fixed part 52 is sleeved on the connecting shaft 53, and the other end of the fixed part 52 is connected to the rotating part 40. The movable part 51 can rotate around the connecting shaft 53 under the driving of the support 20 to change the included angle between the support 20 and the rotating part 40. The support 20 is arranged to be rotatably connected to the rotating part 40 through the movable part 51, the fixed part 52, and the connecting shaft 53, so that the connecting assembly 50 is relatively independent of the support 20 and the rotating part 40, which can simplify the processing process of the support 20 and the rotating part 40. When the connecting assembly 50 is provided with the second gap 55, the second gap 55 disconnects the movable part 51, the fixed part 52, and the connecting shaft 53, respectively, i.e., the movable part 51, the fixed part 52, and the connecting shaft 53 are all provided with the second gap 55, which can avoid the disconnected support 20 from being connected and conducted through the connecting assembly 50.
[0035] The movable part 51 and the fixed part 52 are usually formed by stamping, and the thickness of the material is limited. The movable part 51 is connected with the support 20, which is made of metal, and the support 20 can reinforce the movable part 51 to ensure the strength of the movable part 51. The fixed part 52 is connected with the rotating part 40, which is usually made of plastic, and the strength of the fixed part 52 may be insufficient, thereby affecting the reliability of the rotating connection between the support 20 and the rotating part 40. Referring to FIG. 9, in an embodiment, the connecting assembly 50 further comprises a reinforcing part 54 made of metal, which is attached to one side of the fixed part 52 and clamps the fixed part 52 between the reinforcing part 54 and the rotating part 40. By attaching the reinforcing part 54 to one side of the fixed part 52, the reinforcing part 54 reinforces the thickness of the fixed part 52, thereby ensuring the strength of the fixed part 52. When the connecting assembly 50 is provided with the second gap 55, the second gap 55 disconnects the reinforcing part 54, that is, the reinforcing part 54 is provided with the second gap 55, which can avoid the disconnected support 20 being connected and conducted through the connecting assembly 50.
[0036] The rotating part 40 and the shell 10 can be connected in an interference fit. For example, a groove is formed in the outer periphery of the rotating part 40, and the shell 10 is interference-fitted in the groove. When the rotating part 40 rotates in the plane of the mounting hole 11, friction is generated between the rotating part 40 and the shell 10, which can improve the feel when rotating the rotating part 40. In an embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2-5, the support assembly 100 comprises an elastic part 60 connected to the rotating part 40. One side of the shell 10 is provided with a plurality of positioning grooves 12 spaced apart along the outer periphery of the mounting hole 11, and the elastic part 60 abuts against the side of the shell 10 provided with the positioning grooves 12. The plurality of positioning grooves 12 are spaced apart on the shell 10, so that one side of the shell 10 can form a wavy curved surface structure. When the rotating part 40 rotates, the rotating part 40 drives the elastic part 60 to rotate, and the elastic part 60 slides on the curved surface structure. The elastic deformation of the elastic part 60 changes periodically, and the damping between the rotating part 40 and the shell 10 also changes periodically, which can improve the feel when rotating the rotating part 40. In addition, the periodically changing damping between the rotating part 40 and the shell 10 can also produce a "click-click" rotating sound between the rotating part 40 and the shell 10, which is conducive to the user's perception of the rotating operation of the rotating part 40. When the rotating part 40 rotates to a predetermined position, the elastic part 60 is at least partially fitted in one of the positioning grooves 12 to limit further rotation of the rotating part 40. The elastic part 60 is fitted in the positioning groove 12 after the rotating part 40 is rotated to the position, so that the groove wall of the positioning groove 12 can hinder the relative movement between the elastic part 60 and the shell 10, thereby limiting further rotation of the rotating part 40. The rotating part 40 and the shell 10 are in a relatively stable position, which is convenient for the support 20 to provide stable support for the electronic device.
[0037] The elastic member 60 can be a spring needle. For example, one end of the spring needle is connected to the rotating member 40, and the other end of the spring needle abuts against one side of the housing 10 where the positioning groove 12 is formed. This can not only make the damping between the rotating member 40 and the housing 10 change periodically when the rotating member 40 rotates, but also limit the further rotation of the rotating member 40 after the rotating member 40 is rotated to the position. Alternatively, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 10, the elastic member 60 is a spring sheet. The elastic member 60 is provided in the form of a sheet, so that the elastic member 60 has a relatively large cross-sectional area, and the service life of the elastic member 60 can be prolonged. The elastic member 60 includes an abutting portion 61 and elastic portions 62 connected to opposite ends of the abutting portion 61. The elastic portions 62 are in the form of a bent sheet, so that the resilience of the elastic member 60 can be adjusted by changing the length of the elastic portions 62, and thus the hand feeling when the rotating member 40 is rotated can be adjusted.
