Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for predicting the effectiveness of cerebral aneurysm surgery. According to the present invention, the system for predicting the effectiveness of cerebral aneurysm surgery comprises: an input unit for receiving a blood vessel image including an aneurysm in a subject; a model generation unit for generating a pre-surgery 3D model and a post-surgery 3D model of blood vessels including the aneurysm; a simulation unit for performing a 3D blood flow computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for the same blood flow condition on the pre-surgery 3D model and the post-surgery 3D model of the blood vessels; and an index calculation unit for calculating hemodynamic improvement indices before and after surgery, including an inflation force reduction ratio (IFR), a shear force reduction ratio (SFR), and a pressure-drop reduction ratio (PDR), on the basis of simulation results of the pre-surgery 3D model and the post-surgery 3D model.
