Abstract
Description
Motor assembly, planer handle and surgical power unit
[0001] Related applications
[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application filed on September 2, 2024, application number 2024112215120, entitled "Motor Assembly and Planing Handle", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0003] This application relates to the field of minimally invasive surgical equipment technology, and in particular to a motor assembly and a surgical power device for a planer handle. Background Technology
[0004] The planer handle and the appropriate planer tool are assembled into a surgical power unit capable of planing and removing tissue.
[0005] In existing planing handles, the suction channel is located next to the axis of the motor used to drive the cutting tool, and the axis of the suction channel or the motor is coaxial with the planer tool mounting channel. If the planer tool mounting channel in the handle is coaxial with the motor, the suction channel is offset from the planer tool mounting channel. If the suction channel in the handle is coaxial with the planer tool mounting channel, the axis of the motor is offset relative to the planer tool mounting channel. These two types of planing handles may result in a larger handle size and a more complex structure.
[0006] If a motor with an integrated hollow channel is used, the internal channel of the motor can be used as a suction channel to reduce the size of the handle. However, when using this method, the motor is rotating, so the problem of how to discharge the fluid and tissue in the internal channel of the motor to the handle without leakage must be solved. Any changes or adjustments to these relative relationships, without substantially altering the technical content, shall also be considered as part of the scope of this application.
[0046] Please refer to Figures 1 to 9. One embodiment of this application provides a motor assembly, including a motor 1, an output pipe 5, and a sealing ring 4. The motor 1 includes an inner tube 2 rotatably disposed within a housing assembly 3. In actual implementation, the motor 1 typically includes a matching stator and rotor disposed within the housing assembly 3. The stator is fixed within the housing assembly 3, and the rotor is rotatably disposed within the housing assembly 3. The inner tube 2 is coaxially disposed within the rotor and can rotate with the rotor; this motor 1 can be a micro motor.
[0047] As shown in Figures 1-4, in one embodiment, the rear end of the inner tube 2 protrudes through the shell assembly 3, thus exposing the rear end of the inner tube 2 outside the shell assembly 3. The front end of the output tube 5 is connected to the shell assembly 3 and is inserted into and communicates with the rear end of the inner tube 2. Referring to Figure 7, there is a connection gap 7 between the inner tube 2 and the output tube 5, and a rotation gap 6 between the outer wall of the rear end of the inner tube 2 and the shell assembly 3 in the radial direction of the rotor, allowing the inner tube 2 to rotate flexibly relative to the shell assembly 3 and the output tube 5, avoiding interference. The insertion and communication between the front end of the output tube 5 and the rear end of the inner tube 2 allows liquids and tissues to directly enter the output tube 5 from the inner tube 2, which helps reduce the possibility of blockage inside the tube, and the transport of tissues does not require any components outside the inner tube 2 and the output tube 5, resulting in a simple structure. The sealing ring 4 is inserted into the inner tube 2, simultaneously sealing the rotation gap 6 and the connection gap 7, preventing liquids and tissues flowing from the inner tube 2 to the output tube 5 from flowing out through the connection gap, and also preventing liquids outside the motor 1 from flowing into the motor 1 through the rotation gap 6, thus preventing damage to the motor 1.
[0048] Specifically, as shown in Figures 1 to 5, in one embodiment, the front end of the output tube 5 has a plug-in section, and the rear end of the inner tube 2 is inserted into the plug-in section and can rotate within it. That is, the front end of the output tube 5 has a portion for inserting the inner tube 2. In one embodiment, the inner cavity of the plug-in section is a rotating hole 50 for inserting the rear end of the inner tube 2. The inner diameter of the rotating hole 50 is larger than the inner diameter of the output tube 5 at the rear of the plug-in section, so that the rotating hole 50 has sufficient size to allow the inner tube 2 to rotate within it. In one embodiment, the connection gap 7 includes the gap between the outer wall of the inner tube 2 and the inner wall of the plug-in section. After the inner tube 2 is inserted into the plug-in section, it can also rotate flexibly within the plug-in section, avoiding interference with the inner wall of the plug-in section.
[0049] Meanwhile, referring to Figure 4, a mounting hole 35 is provided on the end face of the shell assembly 3 near the output pipe 5 along the axis of the rotor. The rear end of the inner pipe 2 passes through the mounting hole 35. Referring to Figure 3, at least part of the front end of the output pipe 5 is provided in the mounting hole 35. The inner wall of the insertion section, the hole wall of the mounting hole 35, and the outer wall of the inner pipe 2 form a sealing cavity 8. The sealing cavity 8 communicates with the rotation gap 6 and the connection gap 7, respectively. Referring to Figure 2, the sealing ring 4 is provided in the sealing cavity 8, and the sealing ring 4 makes sealing contact with the inner wall of the insertion section, the hole wall of the mounting hole 35, and the outer wall of the inner pipe 2, thereby sealing the connection gap 7 and the sealing gap.
[0050] As shown in Figure 7, in one embodiment, the sealing cavity 8 includes a main sealing cavity 81 and a secondary sealing cavity 82, which are arranged radially from the inside to the outside. As shown in Figures 6 and 8, the sealing ring 4 includes a first sealing part 43 and a second sealing part 44. The second sealing part 44 is located in the secondary sealing cavity 82 and is pressed between the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section. The first sealing part 43 is disposed in the main sealing cavity 81 and is radially disposed between the second sealing part 44 and the outer wall of the inner tube 2, and the first sealing part 43 is in sealing contact with the outer wall of the inner tube 2. In one embodiment, the first sealing part 43 and the second sealing part 44 are connected as one piece, and there are no holes or gaps between the first sealing part 43 and the second sealing part 44 to prevent liquid from passing through between the first sealing part 43 and the second sealing part 44. The first sealing part 43 is in sealing contact with the outer wall of the inner tube 2, blocking liquids, tissues, and other substances waiting to be discharged outside the sealing ring 4, and preventing liquid from entering the motor 1 along the outer wall of the inner tube 2. The second sealing part 44 is located within the secondary sealing cavity 82 and is pressed between the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section. That is, the second sealing part 44 makes sealing contact with both the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section. The second sealing part 44 acts as a barrier between the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section, preventing liquids, tissues, and other substances outside the sealing ring 4 from flowing through the second sealing part 44 and entering the motor 1. The first sealing part 43 and the second sealing part 44 provide multiple seals, resulting in a good sealing effect. The pressure of the second sealing part 44 between the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section limits the movement of the sealing ring 4, reducing its displacement during the rotation of the inner tube 2 and helping to maintain the sealing effect of the sealing ring 4.
[0051] In one embodiment, the inner wall of the mounting hole 35 is provided with an internal thread, and the outer wall of the front end of the output pipe 5 is provided with an external thread. The front end of the output pipe 5 is threadedly connected to the mounting hole 35. The threaded pair between the output pipe 5 and the mounting hole 35 is provided along the extension direction of the inner pipe 2. The relative position between the output pipe 5 and the mounting hole 35 can be adjusted by the threaded pair, thereby adjusting the pressing effect of the bottom of the mounting hole 35 and the end face of the insertion section on the second sealing part 44.
[0052] Specifically, as shown in Figure 8, in one embodiment, the first sealing portion 43 has a first sealing lip 41 and a second sealing lip 42. The first sealing lip 41 and the second sealing lip 42 extend circumferentially along the sealing ring 4 to form annular sealing lips. The first sealing lip 41 makes sealing contact with the outer wall of the inner tube 2, and the second sealing lip 42 makes sealing contact with the inner wall of the insertion section. The sealing lips are relatively soft and make good contact with the part to be sealed, which helps to increase the sealing effect of the first sealing portion 43. The first sealing lip 41 and the second sealing lip 42 are both arranged around the rotation axis of the sealing ring 4 to completely seal the gap between the sealing ring 4 and the inner wall of the insertion section.
[0053] Referring again to Figure 8, specifically, in one embodiment, an annular groove 40 with an opening facing the connection gap 7 is formed between the first sealing lip 41 and the second sealing lip 42 of the first sealing part 43. On the one hand, if the structural strength of the first sealing part 43 is too high and the deformation is insufficient, the fit between it and the part to be sealed will be poor, affecting the sealing effect. If the structural strength of the first sealing part 43 is too low and the radial support force is insufficient, it will also affect the fit between the first sealing part 43 and the part to be sealed. The annular groove 40 can reduce the structural strength of the first sealing part 43. By adjusting the size and position of the annular groove 40, the structural strength of the first sealing part 43 can be adjusted to ensure the deformation of the first sealing part 43, thereby ensuring the sealing effect of the first sealing part 43. On the other hand, if tissue fluid or waste fluid enters the sealing cavity 8 at the connection gap 7 between the inner tube 2 and the output tube 5, because the opening of the annular groove 40 faces the connection gap 7, the tissue fluid or waste fluid can enter the annular groove through the opening, reducing the accumulation of these liquids on the outer wall of the inner tube 2, resulting in a better sealing effect.
[0054] Optionally, an elastic support 45 is provided within the annular groove 40. The elastic support 45 provides additional radial support to ensure the fit between the first sealing part 43 and the part to be sealed. The elastic support 45 can be a metal spring, or a protective layer such as silicone can be wrapped around the metal spring to improve the service life of the metal spring and the sealing ring 4.
[0055] As shown in Figures 1 to 4, in one embodiment, the shell assembly 3 includes a shell body and a detachable mounting member for the rear end of the shell body, with a mounting hole 35 formed on the mounting member. In some embodiments, the mounting member is integrally formed, and the mounting hole 35 is directly formed on the mounting member. Specifically, referring to Figure 4, in one embodiment, the mounting member includes a connecting sleeve 30 and a mounting sleeve 31 arranged sequentially from front to back. The mounting sleeve 31 is connected to the shell body through the connecting sleeve 30. An inner boss 32 protrudes from the connecting sleeve 30 and the mounting sleeve 31 toward the inner tube 2 at the connection position. The inner boss 32 surrounds the inner tube 2 in a continuous circumference, and the wall surface of the inner boss 32 and the inner wall of the mounting sleeve 31 together form the mounting hole 35. During the formation of the inner boss 32, a through hole is left for the inner tube 2 to pass through. The gap between the top surface of the inner boss 32 and the outer wall of the inner tube 2 is the rotation gap 6.
[0056] In one embodiment, the output pipe 5 and the inner pipe 2 are coaxially arranged. The output pipe 5 also includes a main body section disposed at the rear end of the insertion section. The main body section is located after the insertion section, and its inner diameter is greater than or equal to the inner diameter of the inner pipe 2. When the liquid or tissue in the inner pipe 2 is discharged from the inner pipe 2, it flows into the internal cavity of the main body section. The fact that the inner diameter of the main body section is greater than or equal to the inner diameter of the inner pipe 2 facilitates the flow of liquid or tissue, reduces obstruction to the liquid or tissue, and lowers the probability of blockage of the output pipe 5.
[0057] As shown in Figure 5, in one embodiment, an anti-detachment barb 51 is provided on the rear end of the main body section, that is, the rear end of the output pipe 5. The rear end of the output pipe 5 is used to connect with an external pipeline, which is usually a flexible hose. The anti-detachment barb 51 can increase the connection effect between the output pipe 5 and the flexible hose and reduce the probability of the flexible hose accidentally falling off.
[0058] As shown in Figures 1 to 9, this embodiment also provides a planing handle, including a handle housing and a motor assembly as described in any of the preceding embodiments. The housing has a mounting cavity, and the motor assembly is fixedly disposed within the mounting cavity. The rear end of the output pipe 5 extends out of the handle housing. The handle housing is used by the operator for gripping and also serves to protect and secure the motor assembly.
[0059] Referring to Figure 2, specifically, the handle housing includes a handle shell, a rear cover 33, and a threaded sleeve 34. A mounting cavity is formed within the handle shell, and the motor assembly is fixedly installed within the mounting cavity. The rear cover 33 covers the rear end of the handle shell and has an opening for the output tube 5 to pass through. The rear cover 33 is removable for easy installation and removal of the motor assembly. The threaded sleeve 34 is threaded onto the output tube 5, located behind the rear cover 33 and abutting against its rear end. The threaded sleeve 34 limits the rear cover 33's position, preventing accidental detachment.
[0060] Referring to Figure 5, specifically, in one embodiment, the outer contour of the output tube 5 includes a limiting step 52 facing away from the motor assembly, and a rear cover 33 is disposed between the limiting step 52 and the screw sleeve 34. The limiting step 52 limits the rear cover 33 and cooperates with the screw sleeve 34 to fix the rear cover 33.
[0061] As shown in Figure 9, one embodiment of this application also provides a surgical power device, including the handle as described above and a blade assembly 10 adapted to the handle. The blade assembly 10 typically includes an outer blade tube 9 and an inner blade tube 11 sleeved inside the outer blade tube 9. The front end of the inner blade tube 11 is provided with a cutting edge for cutting lesion tissue, etc. The rear end of the inner blade tube 11 is driven and communicated with the inner tube 2. The inner tube 2 drives the inner blade tube 11 to rotate, providing cutting power to the inner blade tube 11. At the same time, liquids and tissues aspirated from the inner blade tube 11 can be discharged into the inner tube 2, and discharged into the output tube 5 through the inner conduit, and discharged outside the motor 1 through the output tube 5.
[0062] In summary, the motor assembly, planing handle, and surgical power device provided in one embodiment of this application, due to the presence of an output pipe 5, with its front end connected to the housing assembly 3 and directly communicating with the rear end of the inner tube 2, allows liquids and tissues in the inner tube 2 to flow into and out of the output pipe 5. Simultaneously, because of the connection gap 7 between the inner tube 2 and the output pipe 5, the inner tube 2 can rotate relative to the output pipe 5 to output power. The sealing ring 4 seals the rotation gap 6 and the connection gap 7, preventing liquids and tissues in the inner tube 2 from leaking from the connection between the inner tube 2 and the output pipe 5 and entering the motor 1, thus ensuring product reliability.
