Description

A quayside container crane unloading system

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202411181772.X, filed on August 27, 2024, entitled "A Shoreside Container Crane Dismantling System", the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0002] This invention relates to the field of quay crane dismantling technology, and more specifically to a quay container crane dismantling system. Background Technology

[0003] When the equipment on the quay crane needs to be upgraded, or when the quay crane structure reaches the end of its service life or exceeds its service limit, the quay crane needs to be dismantled.

[0004] Currently, the commonly used dismantling methods are pull-down dismantling and floating crane lifting dismantling. Pull-down dismantling involves using external force to pull the quay crane to the ground before further dismantling. This method requires high site bearing capacity and has poor safety; for example, it can easily cause varying degrees of damage to the wharf's pile foundations. Furthermore, inaccurate structural cut calculations or unclear structural conditions at the traction point can lead to major safety accidents such as deviations in the tilting path. Many wharves prohibit this method. Floating crane lifting dismantling uses a floating crane to lift various components of the quay crane to the ground from top to bottom. This method involves high floating crane rental costs, is easily restricted by the construction area and schedule, and is difficult to meet operational needs. High-altitude lifting of large components is highly dangerous; if the old structure is severely corroded, the structural strength at locations such as the lifting lugs is difficult to guarantee, increasing dismantling risks. If the original data of the quay crane (such as electronic drawings, calculation sheets, center of gravity, weight, etc.) is missing, implementation is difficult, construction safety cannot be guaranteed, and construction costs are high. Summary of the Invention

[0005] In view of this, the present invention provides a quay crane dismantling system that enables safe, convenient, and low-cost dismantling of the superstructure of the quay crane.

[0053] To make the objectives, technical solutions, and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some, not all, of the embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the described embodiments of the present invention are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

Terms such as "upper," "lower," "left," and "right" are used only to indicate relative positional relationships; when the absolute position of the described object changes, the relative positional relationship also changes accordingly.

[0055] First, the crane of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to Figures 1, 3 and 5.

[0056] As shown in Figures 1, 3 and 5, the crane includes a gantry leg 10, a main beam 20, a trapezoidal frame 30 and a pair of trapezoidal frame diagonal braces 31. A pair of upper crossbeams 11 are connected between the top two sides of the gantry leg 10, and the main beam 20 passes through the two sides of the gantry leg 10 and is connected to the bottom of the pair of upper crossbeams 11.

[0057] The middle section of the pair of upper crossbeams 11 is detachably connected to the ends of the top two sides of the door leg 10. In other words, the middle section of the upper crossbeam 11 is detachably connected to the two ends, so that after the middle section of the upper crossbeam 11 is disassembled, it can be directly hoisted to the ground through the top of the door leg 10 and through the interior of the door leg 10 without interfering with the door leg 10.

[0058] The bottom of the diagonal bracing tubes on both sides of the trapezoidal frame 30 are respectively connected to the two ends of an upper crossbeam 11. One end of a pair of trapezoidal frame diagonal bracing rods 31 is connected to the top of the trapezoidal frame 30, and the other end is connected to the main beam 20 near another upper crossbeam 11.

[0059] The following describes a quay container crane dismantling system according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figures 1, 3 and 5, which may include: an installation assembly 100 and a suspension system 200.

[0060] The mounting component 100 is detachably mounted on both ends of a pair of upper crossbeams 11 at the bottom of the corresponding trapezoidal frame 30.

[0061] The suspension system 200 is mounted on the mounting assembly 100. The suspension system 200 is used to suspend the middle section of a pair of upper crossbeams 11 to disassemble the trapezoidal frame 30, the trapezoidal frame diagonal brace 31, and the main beam 20 from the top of the door leg 10 through the interior between the two sides of the door leg 10 to the ground.

[0062] In other words, according to the quayside container crane dismantling system of the present invention, an installation assembly 100 is provided at both ends of a pair of upper crossbeams 11, and a suspension system 200 is provided on the installation assembly 100 to dismantle the trapezoidal frame 30, the trapezoidal frame diagonal brace 31, and the main beam 20 from the upper crossbeam 11 at the top of the portal leg 10, and then directly hoist them to the ground through the interior between the two sides of the portal leg 10.

[0063] Specifically, during on-site dismantling operations, before installing the dismantling system, the quay crane components that interfere with it are pre-cut and reinforced. As shown in Figure 3, the lower half of the diagonal bracing tube of the trapezoidal frame 30 at the upper crossbeam 11 on the sea side is cut off, thus disconnecting it from the end of the upper crossbeam 11 and eliminating interference between the trapezoidal frame 30 and the gantry 10 during dismantling and descent. Finally, a reinforcing tube assembly 40 is installed at the bottom of the cut trapezoidal frame 30 to place the trapezoidal frame 30 on the upper crossbeam 11 on the sea side. Next, the quay crane dismantling system of this embodiment is installed, and the suspension system 200 is driven to lift the middle sections of a pair of upper crossbeams 11 to dismantle the trapezoidal frame 30, trapezoidal frame diagonal bracing rods 31, and main beam 20 from the upper crossbeam 11 at the top of the gantry 10, and then hoist them through the interior of the gantry 10 to the ground for replacement and maintenance. Therefore, the quay crane dismantling system according to the present invention can safely, conveniently, and cost-effectively dismantle the superstructure of the quay crane to the ground, and can adapt to the dismantling needs of most quay crane models, with a wide range of applications, facilitating safer, more economical and efficient on-site operations.

[0064] In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 1-5, the mounting assembly 100 may include four supports 110, which are respectively disposed at both ends of a pair of upper crossbeams 11.

[0065] Therefore, by setting supports 110 at the ends of a pair of upper crossbeams 11, that is, at the bottom of the diagonal bracing tubes on both sides of the trapezoidal frame 30 and at one side of the bottom of the trapezoidal frame 30 respectively, the suspension system 200 can be installed, thereby adapting to the position of the overall center of gravity of the quay crane superstructure for hoisting, and enabling stable and reliable disassembly and hoisting of the quay crane superstructure.

[0066] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG4, four connecting lugs 12 are provided on a pair of upper crossbeams 11 corresponding to four supports 110, and the four connecting lugs 12 are respectively provided at the ends of the upper surfaces of the pair of upper crossbeams 11.

[0067] As shown in Figures 4, 6 and 7, the support 110 includes a support body. One end of the support body has a connecting part 111, which is hinged to the ear plate 12. The bottom of the other end of the support body is provided with a support leg 112, and the bottom of the support leg 112 is located on the side of the upper surface of the upper beam 11 away from the connecting ear plate 12.

[0068] Therefore, one end of each support 110 is hinged to the end of the upper surface of the upper beam 11 via a connecting part 111, and the other end is supported by a support leg 112 on the side of the upper surface of the upper beam 11 away from the end. This facilitates disassembly and ensures that the end of the support 110 near the inside of the door leg 10 will not shift or tip over when bearing suspended weights, resulting in a more stable structure. In addition, a rubber pad can be laid at the bottom of the support leg 112 of each support 110 to compensate for the height difference caused by the unevenness of the upper surface of the upper beam 11 and increase the effective contact area.

[0069] The connecting part 111 of the support 110 is connected to the connecting lug 12 pre-installed on the upper crossbeam 11 by a pin.

[0070] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG7, a notch 113 is formed at one end of the support 110 near the support leg 112, and a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion are formed on both sides of the notch 113 along the axis of symmetry.

[0071] As shown in Figures 1, 2, and 5, the suspension system 200 includes four sets of rope systems 210, which are respectively installed on four supports 110. Each set of rope systems 210 includes two rope systems 210, which are respectively installed on the first mounting part and the second mounting part of the support 110. The two rope systems 210 on each support 110 are used to suspend the ends of the middle sections of a pair of upper crossbeams 11.

[0072] In other words, a notch 113 is provided at one end of the support 110 facing the inside of the gate leg 10 (i.e., the end of the support 110 near the support leg 112). A first mounting part and a second mounting part are respectively formed on both sides of the notch 113 for mounting a pair of rope systems 210 on the support 110. The rope systems 210 on the first mounting part and the second mounting part are used to jointly suspend the ends of the middle sections of a pair of upper crossbeams 11, thereby realizing the stable disassembly and hoisting of the superstructure of the opposite bank bridge.

[0073] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG7, the support 110 may include two symmetrical half-supports that are detachably connected.

[0074] In other words, the support 110 can be assembled from two half-supports cut along the axis of the notch 113, which facilitates the disassembly and relocation of the support 110.

[0075] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG7, the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion are respectively formed with through holes 114 extending vertically.

[0076] As shown in Figures 2 and 9, each rope system 210 may include: a drive cylinder 211, a cable guide frame 212, and a steel strand 213.

[0077] Among them, the drive cylinder 211 is installed on the through hole 114;

[0078] The cable guide 212 is installed on the side of the through hole 114 on the first mounting part / second mounting part away from the notch 113.

[0079] The steel strand 213 hangs on the cable guide frame 212. The side of the steel strand 213 near the notch 113 passes through the drive cylinder 211 and the through hole 114 from top to bottom. The bottom end of the side of the steel strand 213 near the notch 113 is used to suspend the end of the middle section of a pair of upper crossbeams 11.

[0080] Among them, the driving cylinder 211 drives the steel strand 213 to rise and fall on the side near the notch 113.

[0081] In other words, the rope system 210 uses a drive cylinder 211 to pull the steel strand 213 passing through the through hole 114 to suspend the middle section of a pair of upper crossbeams 11. The cable guide frame 212 has an inverted U-shaped groove structure, and the steel strand 213 hangs down to both sides along the inverted U-shaped groove structure of the cable guide frame 212 to realize the installation and guidance of the steel strand 213 and improve the stability of the steel strand 213 during suspension. The steel strand 213 can be a high-strength, low-relaxation prestressed strand.

[0082] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG9, the drive cylinder 211 may include a main cylinder 2111, an upper anchor assembly 2112, a lower anchor assembly 2113, and a cylinder bracket 2114. The cylinder bracket 2114 can be mounted on the support 110 of the mounting assembly 100. The main cylinder 2111 and the upper anchor assembly 2112 are disposed on the cylinder bracket 2114. The piston rod of the main cylinder 2111 extends and retracts upwards. The upper anchor assembly 2112 is located above the main cylinder 2111 and connected to the piston rod of the main cylinder 2111. The lower anchor assembly 2113 is located below the main cylinder 2111. The steel strand 213 passes sequentially through the lower anchor assembly 2113, the main cylinder 2111, and the upper anchor assembly 2112. The upper anchor assembly 2112 and the lower anchor assembly 2113 are used to lock or release the steel strand 213, respectively, so that the steel strand 213 moves in reverse and self-locks during lifting and lowering. The drive cylinder 211 also includes a cylinder valve block, which can be installed on the main cylinder 2111. The cylinder valve block is used to control the operation of the main cylinder 2111.

[0083] Taking the lifting of steel strand 213 as an example, there are three main states: initial state, lifting state, and hovering state. Referring to Figure 10, in the initial state, both the upper and lower anchor components lock the steel strand, and the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder is in the retracted state. In the lifting state, the upper anchor component remains locked, the lower anchor component releases the steel strand, and the upper anchor component extends along with the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder, performing one lifting operation on the steel strand. In the hovering state, after the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder extends to its position, the lower anchor component locks the steel strand, then the upper anchor component releases the steel strand, the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder retracts to its initial state, and the upper anchor component moves along with the piston rod of the main hydraulic cylinder, returning to its initial position, and then performing the next lifting operation. This process is repeated to achieve the lifting operation. The cooperation between the lower and upper anchor components allows the steel strand to move in the opposite direction and self-lock, ensuring safe and stable lifting of the steel strand. Similarly, lowering the steel strand can also be achieved, which will not be detailed here. This allows for the synchronous, stepless, continuous, and one-time lowering of the superstructure of the quay crane to meet the dismantling requirements of quay cranes at different lifting heights.

[0084] Furthermore, the upper anchor assembly and the lower anchor assembly have essentially the same structure. The upper anchor assembly may include an upper anchor and an anchor cylinder, with the steel strand passing through the upper anchor and the anchor cylinder connected to it. The anchor cylinder drives the upper anchor to open or close, thereby locking or releasing the steel strand. The upper anchor assembly may also include an anchor valve block, which controls the operation of the anchor cylinder.

[0085] In addition, the rope system 210 also includes an electromechanical-hydraulic integrated system (not shown), in which a hydraulic pump station provides hydraulic pressure to the drive cylinder. The steel strand length is configured for a lifting height of approximately 50m, which can meet the dismantling requirements of most quay cranes. Through the control of the electromechanical-hydraulic integrated system, the lifting and lowering of the steel strand 213 can be finely adjusted at the millimeter level, playing a role in precise positioning and compensating for deviations.

[0086] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG2, the rope system 210 may further include a support beam 214.

[0087] The two ends of the support beam 214 are respectively connected to the bottom ends of the two steel strands 213 on the side near the notch 113 on the corresponding support 110.

[0088] In other words, a pair of rope systems 210 on each support 110 are jointly suspended by a support beam 214. The support beam 214 is used to drag the ends of the middle sections of a pair of upper crossbeams 11, so that the force is balanced and stable during the suspension, and stable suspension and disassembly are achieved.

[0089] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG8, the support beam 214 includes a support beam body 2141 and connecting plates 2142 that are vertically connected to both ends of the support beam body 2141.

[0090] Among them, a pair of connecting plates 2142 are respectively connected to the bottom end of the two steel strands 213 on each support 110 near the notch 113.

[0091] As an example, the supporting beam body 2141 is a box-shaped structure, and the connecting plates 2142 at both ends are detachably connected to the supporting beam body 2141. The connecting plates 2142 at both ends are hoisted by steel strands 213 to lift the supporting beam body 2141, so that the supporting beam body 2141 supports the two ends of the structural component to be lowered, thereby driving the entire superstructure of the quay bridge to descend together.

[0092] The opening distance of the connecting plates 2142 at both ends is consistent with the opening distance of the pair of drive cylinders 211 on the support 110, thereby ensuring the verticality of the steel strand 213. In addition, the interior of the beam body 2141 is provided with a pair of reinforcing ribs spaced 1.25m apart (corresponding to dimension F) and a pair spaced 1.5m apart (corresponding to dimension G) on both sides of the central axis, so as to accommodate the upper crossbeam 11 with different beam widths at the same time.

[0093] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG2, each rope system 210 may further include a connecting bracket 215.

[0094] The top of the connecting bracket 215 is connected to the bottom end of the steel strand 213 near the notch 113, and the bottom end of the connecting bracket 215 is hinged to the connecting plate 2142.

[0095] In other words, the connecting plate 2142 of the support beam 214 and the steel strand 213 are connected by a connecting bracket 215. The steel strand 213 is fastened to the upper end of the connecting bracket 215, and the lower end of the connecting bracket 215 is hinged to the connecting plate 2142 by a pin. Therefore, the pin connection effectively releases the bending moment generated by the deformation along the travel direction of the gantry leg 10 during descent, thereby ensuring the straightness of the drive cylinder 211 and the steel strand 213 and preventing local bending damage to the steel strand 213.

[0096] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG3, the quayside container crane unloading system may also include auxiliary devices 300.

[0097] The auxiliary device 300 includes a pair of cables for connecting and fixing both sides of the door leg 10 to the ground. The line connecting the two connection points of the cable to each side of the door leg is perpendicular to the length of the main beam 20. The auxiliary device 300 may also include a hand-operated hoist, a ground counterweight box, etc., making operation more convenient and improving safety and reliability.

[0098] Specifically, by installing cables on both sides of the trolley travel direction of the gantry leg 10 (perpendicular to the length direction of the main beam 20) to fix the gantry leg 10 to the ground, the overall stability of the gantry leg 10 is ensured during the disassembly and hoisting of the trapezoidal frame 30, the additional bending moment and deformation generated during the disassembly process are offset, structural interference is prevented, and the system is made safer and more reliable.

[0099] The following describes in detail the operation process of the quayside container crane dismantling system according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0100] Preparation phase: During on-site operations, before disassembling and installing the system, adjust the angle of the main beam 20 to ensure that the pressure of each gate leg 10 is consistent; cut off and reinforce the quay crane components that interfere with it (as shown in Figure 3, cut off the lower half of the diagonal bracing tube of the trapezoidal frame at the upper crossbeam 11 on the sea side to disconnect it from the upper crossbeam 11 and eliminate interference, and install the reinforcing tube assembly 40 to place the trapezoidal frame 30 on the upper crossbeam 11 on the sea side; and disassemble part of the machine room, etc.), and pre-fabricate the connecting lugs 12 at the corresponding positions on the upper crossbeam 11. Installation Phase: Install and tighten the cables on both sides of the gantry 10 in the direction of travel; connect the left and right half-supports with bolts on the ground to assemble the installation assembly 100; use a truck crane to hoist the installation assembly 100 into place; connect the tail of the support 110 to the connecting ear plate 12 with a pin; after the drive cylinder 211 and cable guide frame 212 are installed, thread the steel strand 213 through the drive cylinder 211 and through hole 114, and connect it in series with the support beam 214. Lowering and Dismantling Phase: Check if the support beam 214 is tightly attached to the bottom of the upper crossbeam 11, and level it if necessary; check the stress on the installation assembly 100 to ensure stable stress; after the electromechanical-hydraulic integrated system is debugged, perform the lowering and dismantling operation, hoisting the middle section of the upper crossbeam 11 relative to its two ends and lowering it to the ground (as shown in Figures 11 and 12), then disassemble the components according to transportation requirements and transport them out of the site. The quay container crane dismantling system of this embodiment of the invention can meet the following requirements:

[0101] (1) The weight that can be lowered is 1600T, and each corner can bear 400T (total of four corners);

[0102] (2) It can meet the placement and dismantling tooling of quay cranes with different structural dimensions (such as different leg widths, trolley gauges, lifting heights, etc.), and is also suitable for multiple scenarios such as the front and back of the wharf, reducing the impact on the daily loading and unloading operations of the wharf, and has a wide range of applications.

[0103] (3) The suspension system 200 can synchronously, infinitely, continuously and in one go lower the superstructure of the quay bridge to meet the dismantling requirements of quay bridges with different lifting heights.

[0104] (4) It has a compact structure, requires few tools, and does not occupy space;

[0105] (5) Modular loading and unloading to minimize on-site welding and cutting work;

[0106] (6) All components can be placed in containers for transportation, which facilitates transportation and installation;

[0107] (7) Reducing the rental of large external equipment lowers costs;

[0108] (8) Reusable;

[0109] (9) The construction workload is small and the cycle is short;

[0110] (10) No additional requirements for the wharf's load-bearing capacity; highly versatile.

[0111] (11) The auxiliary device 300 can offset the additional bending moment and deformation generated during the disassembly process, prevent structural interference, and make it safer and more reliable.

[0112] The quay crane dismantling system of this invention features a compact structure with minimal tooling, confined to the length and width of the quay crane. All components are modularly designed for loading and unloading, allowing for container transport. Aside from preliminary preparations such as cutting and reinforcing interference points on the quay crane and pre-fabricating connecting lugs, the entire system installation requires no open flame, reducing environmental pollution from smoke, grinding, and painting. Only a single 220T truck crane is needed on-site for system installation, and no large external equipment is required for lowering operations. All components are reusable, minimizing on-site construction work, shortening the construction period, and ensuring safety and reliability.

[0113] Furthermore, stress analysis was performed on the supports and girders of the quayside container crane dismantling system in this embodiment of the invention.

[0114] Figures 13 and 14 respectively illustrate the stress levels of the supports and beams in this dismantling system under the maximum operational stress state during structural analysis. Based on a total descent weight of 1600T, converted to 200T per drive cylinder and 30T per cable guide frame, the maximum stress of the supports is calculated to be 263.2MPa and the maximum stress of the beams to be 246.3MPa. Both the supports and beams are made of Q355B material with a yield stress of 355MPa. With a safety factor of 1.33, the allowable stress is 267MPa. The above calculation results are within the safe range.

[0115] The above description represents the preferred embodiments of the present invention. It should be noted that those skilled in the art can make various improvements and modifications without departing from the principles of the present invention, and these improvements and modifications should also be considered within the scope of protection of the present invention.
