Description

Collapsible support for a frame, frame and stroller TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of baby carriers, and in particular to a collapsible support for a frame, a frame having the collapsible support and a stroller. BACKGROUND

[0002] Most of the stroller frame structures on the market only have one fixed structure, and the stability of the stroller frame structure is insufficient, thereby resulting in poor stability of the stroller using such a stroller frame structure. In addition, the stroller using such a stroller frame structure has a single function, and can only be used for children to ride. However, children generally do not want to ride a stroller or cannot ride a stroller due to their size when they grow up to be more than 3 years old. The service life of a stroller product is often longer than 3 years, which will result in the stroller being idle and wasted before reaching the product life. SUMMARY

[0003] The present disclosure proposes a stroller, a frame of the stroller and a collapsible support for the frame, which can at least solve one of the above technical problems.

[0004] The collapsible support for a frame according to the present disclosure comprises: a handle assembly; a rear leg assembly; a chassis assembly; and a folding assembly movably coupled between the handle assembly and the rear leg assembly and between the rear leg assembly and the chassis assembly, so that the collapsible support and the frame therefrom are in a fully unfolded stroller state with the handle assembly relative to the chassis assembly, a semi-folded trailer state with the handle assembly relative to the chassis assembly, and a fully folded storage state with the handle assembly relative to the chassis assembly.

[0005] According to an embodiment, the folding assembly comprises: a first joint assembly pivoting the handle assembly and the rear leg assembly; a second joint assembly pivoting the rear leg assembly and the chassis assembly; an upper support, both ends of the upper support are movably connected with the handle assembly and the rear leg assembly at positions spaced apart from the first joint assembly; and a lower support, both ends of the lower support are movably connected with the rear leg assembly and the chassis assembly at positions spaced apart from the second joint assembly.

[0006] According to an embodiment, the collapsible support further comprises a release operation assembly provided on the handle assembly, which can slide along the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly and releasably engage and lock with the folding assembly, so as to lock the collapsible support in the stroller state or the trailer state. When the release operation assembly is unlocked with the folding assembly, the handle assembly can be pivoted relative to the rear leg assembly, and can further drive the rear leg assembly to pivot relative to the chassis assembly.

[0007] According to an embodiment, the release operation assembly comprises a sliding sleeve mounted on the handle assembly and slidable along the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly, a pull rod arranged in the handle assembly and extending along the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly, one end of the pull rod being fixedly connected with the sliding sleeve and the other end of the pull rod being connected with the folding assembly, and a safety lock arranged on the sliding sleeve for releasably locking the sliding sleeve on the handle assembly, wherein when the safety lock is released, the sliding sleeve is slidable along the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly, thereby driving the pull rod to slide towards or away from the folding assembly.

[0008] According to an embodiment, the first joint assembly of the folding assembly comprises a first locking portion fixedly connected with the end of the rear leg assembly adjacent to the first locking portion and pivotally connected with the end of the handle assembly adjacent to the first locking portion about a first folding axis extending transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly, and a first locking member having one end connected with the pull rod and the other end releasably locked with the first locking portion under a constant elastic biasing force.

[0009] According to an embodiment, the second joint assembly of the folding assembly comprises a second locking portion fixedly connected with the chassis assembly and pivotally connected with the rear leg assembly about a second folding axis extending transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the chassis assembly, and a second locking member having one end slidably connected with the first locking portion and the other end releasably locked with the second locking portion.

[0010] According to an embodiment, the lower support member comprises a third support member and a fourth support member, the first end of the third support member being pivotally connected with the rear leg assembly, the second end of the third support member being pivotally connected with the first end of the fourth support member, and the second end of the fourth support member being pivotally connected with the chassis assembly.

[0011] According to an embodiment, the first end of the third support member is pivotally connected with the second end of the upper support member at the same pivot point of the rear leg assembly, and an arc-shaped slot extending around the pivot point is arranged at the lower part of the second end of the upper support member and below the pivot point, a rivet fixedly arranged at the corresponding position of the third support member being slidably arranged in the arc-shaped slot and slidable along the arc-shaped slot.

[0012] A vehicle frame according to the present disclosure comprises a foldable support according to the present disclosure, a seat support assembly and a handle assembly fixedly connected with the handle assembly so as to be synchronously rotatable with the handle assembly, wherein wheels are respectively arranged on the rear leg assembly and the chassis assembly.

[0013] A baby carriage according to the present disclosure comprises a vehicle frame according to the present disclosure. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0069] SUMMARY

[0070] FIGS. 1-36 schematically illustrate several embodiments and variations of the present disclosure, but they are only used to illustrate the technical concept of the present disclosure, and do not limit the protection scope of the present disclosure.

[0071] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, there are shown perspective views of a stroller frame of an embodiment of the present disclosure, which presents a fully unfolded stroller state. FIGS. 3A to 3G show several configurations of the stroller frame from the fully unfolded stroller state, via the semi-folded trailer state, to the fully folded storage state.

[0072] Generally, the stroller frame 10 of the present disclosure can include a foldable chassis, a seat support assembly 600, and an armrest assembly 700.

[0073] The foldable chassis can include a handle assembly 100, a rear leg assembly 200 mounted with a wheel 20 (e.g., a rear wheel), a chassis assembly 300 mounted with a wheel 20 (e.g., a front wheel), and a folding assembly 500 straddling and coupled between the handle assembly 100, the rear leg assembly 200, and the chassis assembly 300. Specifically, the folding assembly 500 is movably coupled between the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 on each side of the foldable chassis, and movably coupled between the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 on each side of the foldable chassis, such that the handle assembly 100 is pivotally coupled to the rear leg assembly 200 on each side and rotatable relative to the rear leg assembly 200, and the rear leg assembly 200 is pivotally coupled to the chassis assembly 300 on each side and rotatable relative to the chassis assembly 300. In this way, by means of the folding assembly 500, the handle assembly 100 is pivotable relative to the chassis assembly 300 by the rear leg assembly 200 and causes the foldable chassis and the stroller frame 10 having the foldable chassis to present different states or configurations, i.e., the handle assembly 100 is in a fully unfolded stroller state relative to the chassis assembly 300 (as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 3A), the handle assembly 100 is in a semi-folded trailer state relative to the chassis assembly 300 (as shown in FIG. 3C), and the handle assembly 100 and the seat support assembly 600 are in a fully folded storage state relative to the chassis assembly 300 (as shown in FIG. 3G).

[0074] Specifically, in the stroller state (as shown in FIG. 3A), the longitudinal directions of the handle assembly 100, the rear leg assembly 200, and the chassis assembly 300 can be angularly arranged relative to each other.

[0075] In the trailer state (as shown in FIG. 3C), the longitudinal directions of the handle assembly 100 and the chassis assembly 300 are arranged approximately in parallel, but both are angularly arranged relative to the longitudinal direction of the rear leg assembly 200.

[0076] In the storage state (as shown in FIG. 3G), the longitudinal directions of the handle assembly 100, the rear leg assembly 200, and the chassis assembly 300 present a minimum included angle, and can be said to be approximately parallel, thereby achieving a minimum space occupation for storage.

[0077] Figures 3B, 3D, 3E, 3F show the intermediate folding state in addition to the stroller state, the trailer state and the storage state, respectively.

[0078] The seat support assembly 600 and the armrest assembly 700 can be fixedly connected, and the seat support assembly 600 can be fixedly connected with the handle assembly 100. To this end, when the handle assembly 100 is folded relative to the rear leg assembly 200 or the chassis assembly 300, the seat support assembly 600 will drive the armrest assembly 700 to rotate synchronously with the rotation of the handle assembly 100. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and according to the specific design requirements, the seat support assembly 600 can also not be fixedly connected with the handle assembly 100, or the armrest assembly 700 can be fixedly connected with the handle assembly 100.

[0079]

Frame

[0080] As shown in Figures 1-2, the chassis assembly 300 is generally a rectangular frame and is disposed substantially horizontally at the bottom of the frame. A front wheel is disposed below each of the two front end corners of the rectangular frame of the chassis assembly 300. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and it is conceivable that a front wheel is disposed below the middle of the front crossbeam of the rectangular frame.

[0081] The rear leg assembly 200 can be pivotally connected to the rear of the rectangular frame of the chassis assembly 300 in a manner that two rods are obliquely disposed outside the chassis assembly 300, and a rear wheel is disposed at the lower end of each rod of the rear leg assembly 200.

[0082] The handle assembly 100 is a U-shaped frame, as shown in Figure 2, having an inverted U-shaped handle portion 150 and a support rod portion 160 connected with the handle portion 150, the support rod portion 160 having two support rods respectively connected with the two ends of the handle portion 150. For the purpose of being foldable and occupying less space after being folded, the handle portion 150 and the support rod portion 160 can be designed to be pivotable relative to each other, so as to be switchable between a flat unfolded state and a folded state. The ends of the two support rods of the support rod portion 160 respectively have a joint end portion 170 (as shown in Figure 4F) for being pivotally connected with the upper end of each rod of the rear leg assembly 200, so that the handle assembly 100 and the seat support assembly 600, the armrest assembly 700, etc. fixedly connected therewith can be used together with the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 to construct the frame 10 for a baby carrier (also referred to as a stroller herein).

[0083] In addition to the handle assembly 100, the rear leg assembly 200, the chassis assembly 300, the folding assembly 500, the seat support assembly 600, and the armrest assembly 700 as described above, the frame 10 can further include a release operation assembly 400 for operating the foldable support and a pivotable canopy support 800 mounted on the seat support assembly 600.

[0084] Further, the frame 10 can also be used in further cooperation with other accessories including a tow bar assembly 30 (as shown in FIGS. 10-14), a tray 40 (as shown in FIGS. 32, 33A, and 34A-34B), a basket 50 (as shown in FIG. 35), etc. The frame 10 can provide more functionality to the baby carrier in the trailer state and can enhance the convenience and the operation experience.

[0085] For stability and other considerations, rear leg connectors 210 can be provided between the rear leg assemblies 200, particularly near the wheels 20. The rear leg connectors 210 can be straight rods or curved rods with a certain curvature, for example. Similarly, one or more undercarriage connectors 320 can be provided inside the rectangular frame of the undercarriage assembly 300. For example, two undercarriage connectors 320 can be provided (as shown in FIG. 2), one at the front and one at the rear of the rectangular frame. The undercarriage connectors 320 can also be straight rods or curved rods with a certain curvature, for example. The middle portion of the front crossbar of the undercarriage assembly 300 can be provided with a tow bar mounting hole 310 (as shown in FIG. 1) for mounting the tow bar assembly 30, which will be described in detail below.

[0086] The seat support assembly 600 includes a first seat support 610 that is U-shaped and located above, and a second seat support 620 that is also U-shaped and located below. The first seat support 610 and the second seat support 620 abut each other to form a rectangular frame configuration. The seat support assembly 600 is fixedly connected with the handle assembly 100 and is located in the same plane, and is spaced apart from the undercarriage assembly 300 by a certain distance at least, as shown in FIGS. 3A-3G, regardless of the state of the frame. In addition, the first seat support 610 and the second seat support 620 can be fixedly abutted or connected through a lockable and releasable pivoting structure, so that the second seat support 620 can be folded relative to the first seat support 610 (as shown in FIG. 3G).

[0087] The armrest assembly 700 can be a U-shaped frame and is fixedly connected to the middle portion of the seat support assembly 600 through two legs of the U-shaped frame, so as to move together with the seat support assembly 600. The two legs of the U-shaped frame of the armrest assembly 700 can be fixed to the inner sides of the first seat support 610, respectively. The plane in which the armrest assembly 700 is located can be substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the seat support assembly 600, more specifically the first seat support 610, is located.

[0088] The canopy support 800 includes a first canopy support 810 and a second canopy support 820 for supporting the canopy fabric in an unfolded and folded state. The canopy support 800 is mounted on the seat support assembly 600 and can move with the seat support assembly 600. One of the first canopy support 810 and the second canopy support 820 can be fixedly mounted to the seat support assembly 600, and the other one can be pivotally mounted to the seat support assembly 600, or both can be pivotally mounted to the seat support assembly 600, so that both the first canopy support 810 and the second canopy support 820 can be pivoted relative to each other to achieve the unfolding and folding of the canopy. Alternatively, the canopy support 800 as a whole can be rotated relative to the seat support assembly 600 through a lockable pivoting structure, and the first canopy support 810 and the second canopy support 820 are also arranged to be pivotable relative to each other.

[0089]

Folding assembly

[0090] FIGS. 4A, 4B and 4C are side view schematic diagrams of the frame 10 shown in FIG. 1 in different operating states, mainly showing the internal structure of the first joint assembly 510 and its related components. FIGS. 4D and 4E are enlarged schematic diagrams of the release operation assembly 400 of the frame 10 shown in FIG. 1 in different operating states. FIG. 4F is a schematic diagram of the handle assembly 100 of the frame 10. The structure of the folding assembly 500 will be described in detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments.

[0091] According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the folding assembly 500 can include a first joint assembly 510, a second joint assembly 520, an upper support 530 and a lower support 540.

[0092] Main structure of the first joint assembly and the second joint assembly

[0093] As shown in FIGS. 4A-4C, the first joint assembly 510 is connected between the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200. In an embodiment, the first joint assembly 510 is connected to the handle assembly 100 at the joint end 170 and fixedly connected to the rear leg assembly 200, so that the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 can be pivoted relative to each other about a first folding axis S (as shown in FIG. 2) extending in the transverse direction of the stroller (i.e., extending transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the handle assembly 100).

[0094] For example, as shown in FIGS. 4A-4C, the first joint assembly 510 includes a first locking portion 512, which is fixedly connected to the end of the rear leg assembly 200 adjacent to the first locking portion 512 (i.e., the upper end of the rear leg assembly 200), and connected to the end of the handle assembly 100 adjacent to the first locking portion 512 (i.e., the joint end 170) in a pivotable manner about the first folding axis S.

[0095] In particular, the first locking member 512 includes a main body portion 5124 substantially in the shape of a disc, with a first folding axis S (as shown in Fig. 2) passing through the rotation center of the main body portion 5124, and a mounting rod 5125 tangentially extending outwardly from the periphery of the main body portion 5124 for being fixed to the rear leg assembly 200. The coupling end portion 170 of the handlebar assembly 100 is also substantially in the shape of a disc, and is formed with a receiving space complementary to the shape of the main body portion 5124 for receiving the main body portion 5124 therein, so that the main body portion 5124 is relatively rotatable within the receiving space. Similarly, as shown in Fig. 4F, the two struts of the strut portion 160 are arranged to tangentially extend from the periphery of the coupling end portion 170 to the handle portion 150 (not shown).

[0096] The first joint assembly 510 further includes a first locking member 511 movably arranged between the upper end of the main body portion 5124 and the end of the strut portion 160. One end of the first locking member 511 is fixedly connected to the pull rod 430 of the release operating assembly 400 (to be described in detail later) arranged within the strut. A first spring 5111 acts on the first locking member 511 between the first locking member 511 and the end of the strut portion 160. Under the elastic bias of the first spring 5111, the other end of the first locking member 511 is always pressed against the periphery of the main body portion 5124. It is easily understood that the first spring 5111 can be replaced by other elastic members such as an elastic contact strip.

[0097] The second joint assembly 520 is pivotally connected between the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300. In an embodiment, the second joint assembly 520 is pivotally connected to the rear leg assembly 200 on one hand, and is fixedly connected to the chassis assembly 300 on the other hand, so that both the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 can be pivoted about a second folding axis T (as shown in Fig. 2) parallel to the first folding axis S by means of the second joint assembly 520.

[0098] Fig. 5 is another partial sectional view of the frame 10 shown in Fig. 1, mainly showing the internal structure and associated mechanism of the first joint assembly 510 and the second joint assembly 520 and their related components, Figs. 6-7 are partial exploded perspective views of the second joint assembly 520 and its related components of the frame 10 shown in Fig. 5, and Fig. 8 is a partial enlarged sectional view taken along line A-A of Fig. 7, Fig. 9 is a corresponding perspective view of the second joint assembly 520 and its related components of the frame 10 shown in Fig. 7 after being assembled.

[0099] As shown in FIGS. 5-7, the second joint assembly 520 includes a second locking member 521 and a second locking portion 522. The second locking member 521 is disposed in the rear leg assembly 200 and includes a pull wire 5211 and a pull wire fixing member 5212. The second locking portion 522 is fixed to the chassis assembly 300 and pivotally connected with the rear leg assembly 200 about a second folding axis T (extending transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the chassis assembly 300).

[0100] The pull wire 5211 extends along the longitudinal direction of the rear leg assembly 200. One end of the pull wire 5211 is slidably connected to the first locking portion 512 of the first joint assembly 510. Specifically, the one end of the pull wire 5211 is provided with a first pull wire head 52111 which is movably engaged in a corresponding guide slot provided on the main body portion 5124 of the first joint assembly 510 and moves along the guide slot relative to the main body portion 5124 as the main body portion 5124 rotates. In an embodiment, the corresponding guide slot on the main body portion 5124 of the first joint assembly 510 is an elongated slot 5123 extending radially on the disc surface thereof, preferably an elongated straight slot, as shown in FIGS. 4A-4B, wherein the first pull wire head 52111 is accommodated in the elongated slot 5123.

[0101] The pull wire fixing member 5212 is slidably mounted in the rear leg assembly 200 along the longitudinal direction thereof. The other end of the pull wire 5211, i.e., a second pull wire head 52112, is provided on the pull wire fixing member 5212, such that the pull wire 5211 can drive the pull wire fixing member 5212 to slide in the rear leg assembly 200 as the first locking portion 512 rotates. A second spring 5225 is provided between the pull wire fixing member 5212 and a pivot shaft 5224 extending along the second folding axis T, which exerts a continuous tension spring force on the pull wire fixing member 5212 to bias the pull wire fixing member 5212 downward along the rear leg assembly 200, so that the pull wire 5211 is always subjected to the elastic force of the tension spring. It is readily understood that the second spring 5225 can be replaced by other elastic members such as an elastic contact strip.

[0102] In an embodiment, the periphery of the main body portion 5124 of the first joint assembly 510 is provided with a first locking hole 5121 and a second locking hole 5122 along the circumference, for the other end of the first locking member 511 to be inserted into one of them to achieve positioning and engagement of the frame 10 in different states.

[0103] Specifically, the positions of the first locking hole 5121 and the second locking hole 5122 on the circumference are designed such that:

[0104] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first locking portion 512 to a position where the first locking member 511 is inserted into the first locking hole 5121, the frame 10 is locked in the stroller state (as shown in Fig. 4A) ;

[0105] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first locking portion 512 to a position where the first locking member 511 is inserted into the second locking hole 5122, the frame 10 is locked in the trailer state (as shown in Fig. 4C) ;

[0106] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first locking portion 512 to a position where the first locking member 511 is inserted into the second locking hole 5122, the frame 10 is locked in the trailer state (as shown in Fig. 4C) ;

[0107] For the sake of operational smoothness, optionally, a chamfer or a round can be provided at the opening of the first locking hole 5121 and the second locking hole 5122 to facilitate the insertion of the first locking member 511, and / or a chamfer or a round can be provided at the end of the first locking member 511 to facilitate the insertion of the first locking member 511 into the opening of the first locking hole 5121 and the second locking hole 5122.

[0108] In an embodiment, a spiral groove 171 is provided on the disc surface of the joint end portion 170 of the rider assembly 100, which includes a circumferential section 1711 extending along the circumferential direction of the disc surface of the joint end portion 170 and a non-circumferential section 1712 extending towards the central region of the disc surface of the joint end portion 170, as shown in Fig. 5. The first pull cord head 52111 is accommodated in the elongated groove 5123, and as the main body portion 5124 rotates, the first pull cord head 52111 slides in the elongated groove 5123 and protrudes laterally outward from the elongated groove 5123 to slide in the spiral groove 171. Thus, when the rider assembly 100 rotates, the first pull cord head 52111 slides in the circumferential section 1711 or the non-circumferential section 1712 of the spiral groove 171 accordingly, thereby causing the second pull cord head 52112 of the pull cord 5211 to move. The second pull cord head 52112 is connected and fixed with the pull cord fixing member 5212. Through the pulling action of the pull cord 5211, the pull cord fixing member 5212 can be caused to slide, thereby causing the locking and releasing of the second joint assembly 520, so as to realize the locking and releasing of the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300.

[0109] In one embodiment, another configuration of the helical groove 171 is provided on the disc surface of the joint end 170 of the handle assembly 100, which includes a circumferential segment 1711 extending along the circumferential direction of the disc surface of the joint end 170 and a non-circumferential segment 1712 extending towards the central region of the disc surface of the joint end 170, as shown in FIG. 27A. The first pull wire head 52111 slides within the helical groove 171 as the body portion 5124 rotates. Thus, the pull wire 5211 drives the locking and unlocking of the second joint assembly 520.

[0110] The configuration of the elongated groove and the corresponding helical groove as described above is mainly designed according to the folding action of the support and is not limited to the various embodiments shown herein.

[0111] In one embodiment, the second locking member 521 further includes a locking block 5213. The locking block 5213 is provided on both the pull wire fixing member 5212 and the chassis assembly 300. The locking block 5213 is fixedly connected with the pull wire fixing member 5212. As the pull wire fixing member 5212 slides, the locking block 5213 slides along and achieves disengagement or engagement with the chassis assembly 300. Specifically, the locking block 5213 can be designed to laterally extend from the rear leg assembly 200 into the second locking portion 522 fixed to the chassis assembly 300, so as to lock both the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300.

[0112] The second locking portion 522 can further include a clamping seat 5221 and a fixing seat 5222. The clamping seat 5221 is fixedly connected to the longitudinal outer side of the chassis assembly 300 and is provided between the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300. The clamping seat 5221 is provided with a radially outwardly opening first clamping portion 5226 on the surface facing the rear leg assembly 200. The fixing seat 5222 is provided between the clamping seat 5221 and the rear leg assembly 200 and is fixed to the rear leg assembly 200, and is pivotably connected with the clamping seat 5221 through a pivot shaft 5224 fixed to the clamping seat 5221. The fixing seat 5222 has a second clamping portion 5227 corresponding to the first clamping portion 5226 on the clamping seat 5221. The locking block 5213 releasably clamps the first clamping portion 5226 and the second clamping portion 5227.

[0113] As shown in FIGS. 8-9, when the locking block 5213 clamps both the first clamping portion 5226 and the second clamping portion 5227, the clamping seat 5221 and the fixing seat 5222 are locked, and thus the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 are locked. If the locking block 5213 disengages from the first clamping portion 5226 and the second clamping portion 5227, the clamping seat 5221 and the fixing seat 5222 can be relatively pivoted about the pivot shaft 5224, and thus the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 are unlocked and can be relatively pivoted.

[0114] Optionally, the second locking part 522 can further comprise a reinforcing piece 5223 fixed on the side of the fixed seat 5222 facing the clamping seat 5221, which also has a clamping part corresponding to the first clamping part 5226, for clamping with the locking block 5213. The reinforcing piece 5223 can enhance the locking stability of the second locking part 522 with the locking block 5213. In addition, the reinforcing piece 5223 can also ensure that a proper pivoting gap is maintained between the clamping seat 5221 and the fixed seat 5222. Optionally, the reinforcing piece 5223 can be fixed on the side of the fixed seat 5222 facing the pull wire fixing part 5212.

[0115] In an embodiment shown in FIGS. 23A-24C, instead of the locking and unlocking manner by means of the locking block, another configuration manner of the second joint assembly 520 is proposed.

[0116] The second locking part 521 can comprise a pull wire 5211, a pull wire fixing part 5212, and a clamping pin 5214. The pull wire 5211 and the pull wire fixing part 5212 are arranged in the same manner as in the previous embodiments, which will not be described here again.

[0117] At least one guide slot 5228 is arranged on the outer side of the clamping seat 5221 of the second joint assembly 520 facing the fixed seat 5222. For example, two guide slots 5228 are shown in FIGS. 23A and 24B, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center of the pivoting shaft 5224. The guide slot 5228 has a radial section and a circumferential section. A clamping pin 5214 corresponding to the guide slot 5228 and capable of being inserted therein is arranged on the fixed seat 5222 of the second joint assembly 520. The clamping pin 5214 is fixed on the pull wire fixing part 5212, so as to be capable of moving with the movement of the pull wire. The clamping pin 5214 sliding together with the sliding of the pull wire fixing part 5212 can move along the radial section of the guide slot 5228 and the sliding slot 5229, and then move along the circumferential section of the guide slot 5228, so as to make the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 switch from the locked state to the unlocked state. In other words, when the clamping pin 5214 is located in the radial section of the guide slot 5228, the clamping seat 5221 and the fixed seat 5222 are locked with each other and cannot rotate relative to each other, and when the clamping pin 5214 is located in the circumferential section of the guide slot 5228, the clamping seat 5221 and the fixed seat 5222 are unlocked with each other and can rotate relative to each other.

[0118] Figure 23B shows a partial enlarged sectional view taken along line B-B of Figure 23A, and Figures 24A and 24C show partial structures of the second joint assembly 520 of the frame 10 shown in Figure 16, in which the arrangement of the snap pin 5214 on the fixing seat 5222 is shown. In this embodiment, the fixing seat 5222 is provided with a guide groove 5229 extending in the radial direction, so that the snap pin 5214 is guided and limited in direction and stroke by the guide groove 5229 while moving with the pulling wire fixing member 5212.

[0119] Main configuration of the upper support and the lower support

[0120] According to the present disclosure, the lower end of the upper support 530 and the upper end of the lower support 540 are movably connected to the rear leg assembly 200, and are located between the first locking portion 512 of the first joint assembly 510 and the second locking portion 522 of the second joint assembly 520. The upper end of the upper support 530 is movably connected to the handlebar assembly 100, and the lower end of the lower support 540 is movably connected to the chassis assembly 300. Thus, the upper support 530 and the lower support 540, together with the first joint assembly 510 and the second joint assembly 520, form a folding assembly 500 arranged between the handlebar assembly 100, the rear leg assembly 200, and the chassis assembly 300, to achieve the desired state of the frame 10.

[0121] As shown in Figures 1-11, one configuration mode of the upper support and the lower support is shown.

[0122] Specifically, the upper support 530 includes a first support 531 and a second support 532, and the upper support 530 is movably connected to the handlebar assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 at a distance from the first locking portion 512 of the first joint assembly 510. Specifically, the first end of the first support 531 is pivotally connected to the handlebar assembly 100, the second end of the first support 531 is pivotally connected to the first end of the second support 532, and the second end of the second support 532 is pivotally connected to the rear leg assembly 200. The first support 531, the second support 532, the handlebar assembly 100, and the rear leg assembly 200 form a four-bar linkage structure.

[0123] The lower support 540 includes a third support 541 and a fourth support 542, and the lower support 540 is pivotally connected to the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 at a distance from the second locking portion 522 of the second joint assembly 520. Specifically, the first end of the third support 541 is pivotally connected to the rear leg assembly 200, the second end of the third support 541 is pivotally connected to the first end of the fourth support 542, and the second end of the fourth support 542 is pivotally connected to the chassis assembly 300. The third support 541, the fourth support 542, the rear leg assembly 200, and the chassis assembly 300 form another four-bar linkage structure.

[0124] In an embodiment, the first end of the third support 541 is closer to the first locking portion 512 of the first joint assembly 510 than the second end of the second support 532.

[0125] As shown in FIGS. 3A-3G, the frame 10 can be in a stroller state, a first folding state, a trailer state, a second folding state, a third folding state, and a storage state, respectively. The frame 10 can switch the states in a sequential order or in a reverse order between the stroller state, the first folding state, the trailer state, the second folding state, the third folding state, and the storage state.

[0126] In FIG. 3A, the frame 10 is in the stroller state, i.e., the frame 10 is used as a frame of a stroller for a baby to sit on. When the frame 10 is in the stroller state, the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are fixed by the first joint assembly 510 and the upper support 530, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 are fixed by the second joint assembly 520 and the lower support 540. At this time, the first support 531 and the second support 532 of the upper support 530 are connected to extend in the vertical direction, the third support 541 and the fourth support 542 of the lower support 540 are connected to extend in the vertical direction, and the upper support 530 and the lower support 540 are parallel to each other.

[0127] In FIG. 3B, the frame 10 is in the first folding state. The angle between the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 is smaller than the angle between the two when the frame 10 is in the stroller state, and the angle between the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 remains unchanged. At this time, the handle assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are unlocked and can freely pivot, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300 remain fixed. The first support 531 and the second support 532 of the upper support 530 are connected to have an angle, and the third support 541 and the fourth support 542 of the lower support 540 are still connected to extend in the vertical direction.

[0128] In FIG. 3C, the vehicle frame 10 is in a trailer state. At this time, the rider assembly 100 is rotated to a substantially horizontal position, and the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are in a locked position. The rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are fixed by the first joint assembly 510 and the upper support 530, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 are fixed by the second joint assembly 520 and the lower support 540. The included angle between the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 is smaller than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the first folding state, and the included angle between the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 remains unchanged. At this time, the first support 531 and the second support 532 of the upper support 530 are connected to have an angle, and the third support 541 and the fourth support 542 of the lower support 540 are still connected to extend in the vertical direction.

[0129] In FIG. 3D, the vehicle frame 10 is in a second folding state. The rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are unlocked and can be freely pivoted, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 remain fixed. At this time, the included angle between the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 is smaller than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the trailer state, and the included angle between the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 remains unchanged. The included angle between the first support 531 and the second support 532 of the upper support 530 is also correspondingly smaller than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the trailer state, and the third support 541 and the fourth support 542 of the lower support 540 are still connected to extend in the vertical direction.

[0130] In FIG. 3E, the vehicle frame 10 is in a third folding state. The rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 are in an unlocked state, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 are also in an unlocked state. At this time, the included angle between the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 is greater than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the second folding state, and the included angle between the rear leg assembly 200 and the base frame assembly 300 is smaller than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the second folding state. The included angle between the first support 531 and the second support 532 of the upper support 530 is also correspondingly greater than the included angle therebetween when the vehicle frame 10 is in the second folding state, and the third support 541 and the fourth support 542 of the lower support 540 are connected to have an angle.

[0131] In FIGS. 3F and 3G, the frame 10 is in the stowed state, in which the frame 10 can be stowed by means of a strap or a bag. The rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base assembly 300, are in the unlocked state. At this time, the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base assembly 300 are substantially parallel to each other, and the rear leg assembly 200 and the base assembly 300 can partially overlap in the longitudinal direction of the frame 10. Referring to FIG. 3G, the rider assembly 100 can continue to be folded toward the upper left direction of the frame 10, and the seat support assembly 600 can continue to be folded toward the lower left direction of the frame 10.

[0132] FIGS. 15-23A show another configuration mode of the upper support and the lower support. For the purpose of simplicity, the same as the foregoing configuration mode of the upper support and the lower support will be omitted or briefly described hereinafter.

[0133] As shown in FIGS. 15-23A, the upper support 530 includes a first support 531 and a second support 532, and the lower support 540 includes a third support 541 and a fourth support 542. The second end of the second support 532 and the first end of the third support 541 are pivoted to the rear leg assembly 200 at the same pivot point 560. Specifically, the first end of the first support 531 is pivoted to the rider assembly 100, the second end of the first support 531 is pivoted to the first end of the second support 532, the second end of the second support 532 is pivoted to the first end of the third support 541 at the same pivot point 560 of the rear leg assembly 200, the second end of the third support 541 is pivoted to the first end of the fourth support 542, and the second end of the fourth support 542 is pivoted to the base assembly 300.

[0134] An arc-shaped slot 533 extending around the pivot point 560 is arranged below the pivot point of the second end of the second support 532. A rivet 543 is arranged on the third support 541, which corresponds to the arc-shaped slot 533 and is slidably inserted into the arc-shaped slot 533. The rivet 543 is optionally a T-shaped rivet. When the second support 532 rotates around the pivot point 560, the rivet 543 correspondingly slides in the arc-shaped slot 533, thereby driving the third support 541 to move correspondingly, so that the upper support 530 and the lower support 540 have a better linkage effect. The remaining structures of the upper support 530 and the lower support 540 are similar to the related structures in the foregoing embodiments, and will not be described here again.

[0135] In particular, as shown in FIG. 17, when the frame 10 is in the stroller state, the rivet 543 is at the left end of the arcuate slot 533, the arcuate slot 533 exerts no force on the rivet 543, or exerts a force on the rivet 543 to the right side with a proper magnitude so that the support effect of the lower support 540 is more stable. As shown in FIG. 18, when the frame 10 is in the trailer state, the rivet 543 is at the middle of the arcuate slot 533, the arcuate slot 533 exerts no force on the rivet 543. As shown in FIG. 19, when the frame 10 is in the second folding state, the handlebar assembly 100 is further rotated, and when the frame 10 is about to be converted from the second folding state to the third folding state, the rivet 543 is at the right end of the arcuate slot 533, the arcuate slot 533 exerts a force on the rivet 543 to drive the third support 541 to pivot, thereby helping the second joint assembly 520 to be unlocked and pivoted. As shown in FIGS. 20-22, when the frame 10 is in the storage state, the rivet 543 is at the middle of the arcuate slot 533, the arcuate slot 533 exerts no force on the rivet 543. FIGS. 17-22 show that when the frame 10 is converted from the stroller state to the storage state, the interaction between the rivet 543 and the arcuate slot 533 helps the frame 10 to be folded. Conversely, when the frame 10 is converted from the storage state to the stroller state, the interaction between the rivet 543 and the arcuate slot 533 also helps the frame 10 to be unfolded, which will not be described herein.

[0136] FIGS. 25A-30 show another configuration mode of the upper support and the lower support. For the purpose of simplicity, the same content as the aforementioned configuration mode of the upper support and the lower support will be omitted or briefly described hereinafter.

[0137] FIGS. 25A-25B show perspective views of the frame 10 according to an embodiment, wherein the frame 10 is in the stroller state, FIG. 25C is a perspective view of the frame 10 in the trailer state, and FIG. 26 is a side view of the frame 10 in the stroller state. FIGS. 27A-27B are partial cross-sectional views of the first joint assembly 510, the second joint assembly 520, and the related components thereof of the frame 10, FIG. 28 is an exploded perspective view of the first joint assembly 510 and the related components thereof of the frame 10, FIG. 29 is a cross-sectional view of the first joint assembly 510 and the related components thereof of the frame 10 after being assembled, FIG. 30 is another partial cross-sectional view of the first joint assembly 510 and the related components thereof of the frame 10, and FIG. 31 is a side view of an embodiment of the trailer assembly 30 installed on the frame 10 in the trailer state.

[0139] Lock release operation assembly

[0140] The lock release operation assembly 400 is an operation component for controlling the locking and releasing of the vehicle frame 10. The structure of the lock release operation assembly 400 and its operation mechanism will be described in detail below.

[0141] The lock release operation assembly 400 is arranged on the rider assembly 100 and can slide along the rider assembly 100. As shown in FIG. 1, the lock release operation assembly 400 can be arranged on one of the strut portions 160 of the rider assembly 100, for example, at the middle portion of the left strut portion 160 of the rider assembly 100, so as to facilitate the operation of a user.

[0142] FIGS. 4A, 4B and 4C respectively show the internal structure of the lock release operation assembly 400 of the vehicle frame 10 in different operation states. FIGS. 4D and 4E are respectively sectional enlarged views of the lock release operation assembly 400 of the vehicle frame 10 in different operation states.

[0143] The lock release operation assembly 400 includes a safety lock 410, a sliding sleeve 420, a pull rod 430, a sliding groove 440 and a limiting member 450.

[0144] The sliding sleeve 420 is arranged on the rider assembly 100. The rider assembly 100 is provided with a sliding sleeve slot 110. A portion of the sliding sleeve 420 is arranged inside the rider assembly 100 through the sliding sleeve slot 110, and is fixedly connected to one end of the pull rod 430. The other end of the pull rod 430 is fixedly connected to the first locking member 511 of the first joint assembly 510. The sliding sleeve 420 can slide along the rider assembly 100, and the sliding stroke of the sliding sleeve 420 is limited by the sliding sleeve slot 110.

[0145] The safety lock 410 is pivotally arranged on the sliding sleeve 420 outside the handle assembly 100 about a fulcrum for user operation. The safety lock 410 includes a button 411, a locking pin 412 and a locking spring 413. The button 411 and the locking spring 413 are respectively arranged on both sides of the fulcrum (as shown in FIG. 4D), or the locking pin 412 and the locking spring 413 are respectively arranged on both sides of the fulcrum (as shown in FIG. 4E). The locking spring 413 is disposed between the button 411 and the sliding sleeve 420, one end of the locking pin 412 is connected to the button 411, and the other end is engaged with the handle assembly 100. The locking spring 413 exerts a constant elastic force on the button 411 to keep the locking pin 412 in engagement with the handle assembly 100. Pressing the button 411 downward against the elastic force of the locking spring 413 can disengage the locking pin 412 from the handle assembly 100.

[0146] In FIGS. 4A-4E, the sliding groove 440 is arranged on the pull rod 430, and a limiting piece 450 is fixed on the handle assembly 100 to pass through the sliding groove 440 to guide and limit the movement position of the pull rod 430. The limiting piece 450 can be a cylinder protruding from the tubular inner surface of the handle assembly 100, or a pin passing through the handle assembly 100, without limitation. The sliding groove 440 includes a first sliding groove 441 and a second sliding groove 442. However, the number of sliding grooves and limiting pieces is not limited. Correspondingly, the limiting piece 450 can include a first limiting piece 451 and a second limiting piece 452. By pressing the button 411 to unlock the sliding sleeve 420, the sliding sleeve 420 can be moved away from the first joint assembly 510, and the pull rod 430 moves together and carries the first locking piece 511 of the first joint assembly 510, wherein the first limiting piece 451 slides in the first sliding groove 441, and the second limiting piece 452 slides in the second sliding groove 442. In other embodiments, the sliding groove 440 can be arranged on the inner surface of the handle assembly 100, and the limiting piece 450 slidingly engaged with the sliding groove 440 is arranged on the pull rod 430.

[0147] Regarding the release operation assembly 400, in combination with the specific configuration modes of the upper support and the lower support shown in FIGS. 25A-30, the present disclosure proposes a variant embodiment as follows. For the purpose of simplicity, the same configuration modes of the aforementioned release operation assembly 400 will be omitted or briefly described below.

[0148] Referring to Figs. 28-30, unlike the previous embodiments, in this embodiment, the release operation assembly 400 has a third limiting member 453 and a fourth limiting member 454 in addition to the first limiting member 451 and the second limiting member 452. The pull rod 430 has a first inclined slot 443 and a second inclined slot 444 in addition to the first sliding slot 441 and the second sliding slot 442. As mentioned above, the first sliding slot 441 and the second sliding slot 442 extend along the longitudinal direction of the rider assembly 100, while the first inclined slot 443 and the second inclined slot 444 extend along a direction inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the rider assembly 100.

[0149] The first limiting member 451, the second limiting member 452, the third limiting member 453, and the fourth limiting member 454 are respectively arranged in the first sliding slot 441, the second sliding slot 442, the first inclined slot 443, and the second inclined slot 444, and can slide therein. The first engaging member 461 and the second engaging member 462 are arranged on the pull rod 430, and are fixedly connected with the third limiting member 453 and the fourth limiting member 454 respectively, and can move together with the third limiting member 453 and the fourth limiting member 454. As mentioned above, the release safety lock 410 pulls the sliding sleeve 420, thereby driving the pull rod 430 to slide, the first limiting member 451 and the second limiting member 452 move along the first sliding slot 441 and the second sliding slot 442 respectively, the third limiting member 453 and the fourth limiting member 454 move along the first inclined slot 443 and the second inclined slot 444 respectively, thereby driving the engaging member 460 to extend or retract in the transverse direction of the rider assembly 100 (see Fig. 29), so as to releasably engage and lock with the corresponding recess on the sliding member 534 (see Fig. 30).

[0150] Referring to Fig. 30, the sliding member 534 has inclined surfaces at both ends thereof along the open pipe slot 120, and can push the first engaging member 461 and the second engaging member 462 when sliding along the open pipe slot 120, without the need to pull the pull rod.

[0151] Continuing to refer to Figs. 29-30, the pull rod spring 470 is arranged between the first engaging member 461 and the second engaging member 462, so that the first engaging member 461 and the second engaging member 462 can not extend or retract at the same time, thereby reducing the force required to pull the pull rod 430. In addition, when the sliding member 534 is engaged with the second engaging member 462, it is only necessary to pull the pull rod 430 away from the first joint assembly 510 to release the sliding member 534 from the second engaging member 462, without the need to simultaneously make the first engaging member 461 perform extension and retraction movement, so as to reduce the wear of the pull rod 430.

[0152] In an embodiment, the first engaging member 461 and the second engaging member 462 arranged on the side of the pull rod 430 facing the open pipe slot 120 are used to achieve positioning and engagement of the frame 10 in different states by engaging with the sliding member 534.

[0153] Specifically, the setting positions of the first and second engaging members 461 and 462 on the pull rod 430 are designed such that:

[0154] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first joint assembly 510 to the position where the first engaging member 461 is inserted into the sliding member 534, the frame 10 is locked in the stroller state (as shown in Fig. 26);

[0155] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first joint assembly 510 to the position where the second engaging member 462 is inserted into the sliding member 534, the frame 10 is locked in the trailer state (as shown in Fig. 31);

[0156] When the rider assembly 100 is pivoted relative to the first joint assembly 510 to the position where the sliding member 534 of the upper support 530 is located outside the first and second engaging members 461 and 462 of the pull rod 430, the frame 10 is in the unlocked intermediate state.

[0157]

Folding operation of the frame

[0158] Based on the above description, the folding operation method of the frame 10 will be briefly described below by taking the case where the frame 10 is initially in the stroller state as an example.

[0159] When the frame 10 is in the stroller state, the release operation assembly 400 locks the frame 10 in this state. When it is necessary to fold the frame 10 into the trailer state or the storage state, the following operations can be performed:

[0160] First, the locked state of the frame 10 is converted to the unlocked state by the release operation assembly 400.

[0161] For example, by pressing the safety lock 410 of the release operation assembly 400, the locking pin 412 of the safety lock 410 is disengaged from the engagement with the rider assembly 100 (specifically, the support rod portion 160 of the rider assembly 100), so that the sliding sleeve 420 can be released and slid upward along the rider assembly 100.

[0162] Then, by pushing the sliding sleeve 420 upward, the pull rod 430 is driven to move upward, at the same time driving the first locking member 511 of the folding assembly 500 to disengage from the engagement with the first joint assembly 510 (as shown in the embodiment of Figs. 1-23A) or driving the sliding member 534 to disengage from the engagement with the engaging member 460 that can be retracted in the transverse direction of the rider assembly 100 (as shown in the embodiment of Figs. 25A-31), so that under the configuration of the four-bar linkage structure formed by the first joint assembly 510 and the upper support 530 and the rider assembly 100 and the rear leg assembly 200, the rider assembly 100 can be pivoted and approached toward the rear leg assembly 200, switching the frame 10 to the trailer state.

[0163] Then, the rider assembly 100 continues to pivot and approach the rear foot assembly 200, at this time, the pull wire 5211 connecting the first joint assembly 510 and the second joint assembly 520 plays a role to release the lock of the second joint assembly 520 connecting the rear foot assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300, so that under the configuration of the four-bar linkage structure of the second joint assembly 520 and the lower support 530 and the rear foot assembly 200 and the chassis assembly 300, combined with the relevant action of the four-bar linkage structure of the first joint assembly 510, the rear foot assembly 200 can pivot and approach the chassis assembly 300, switching the frame 10 to the storage state.

[0164] Based on the folding operation of the frame 10, other related components or accessories connected to the frame 10 also have folding functions or additional installation and removal functions, which can be performed in time according to the folding process of the frame 10, as long as they do not interfere with each other.

[0165] Obviously, the above process can be reversed without departing from the scope of the present disclosure.

[0166]

Other accessories: towbar assembly, tray, seat cushion, basket, etc.

[0167] The towbar assembly 30 and its cooperation with the frame 10 will be described below.

[0168] Fig. 10 is a schematic view of the frame 10 with the towbar assembly 30 installed, Fig. 11 is a side view of the frame 10 with the towbar assembly 30 installed in a trailer state, Fig. 12 is a schematic view of another embodiment of the frame 10 with the towbar assembly 30 installed, Fig. 13 is a perspective view of the towbar assembly, and Fig. 14 is a partial cross-sectional view of a part of the frame 10, in which the towbar assembly 30 is shown in an exploded manner.

The towbar mounting hole 310 can be arranged at the middle position of the longitudinal front side of the chassis assembly 300. The fixing pin 31 of the towbar assembly 30 can be fixedly installed to the towbar mounting hole 310.

[0171] Referring to FIGS. 10-14, and in particular to FIG. 14, a quick release handle 311 can be provided at the tow bar mounting hole 310. The quick release handle 311 can be located at the lower surface of the chassis assembly 300. The quick release handle 311 can act as a locking member to disengageably engage the locking recess on the securing pin 31 of the tow bar assembly 30, such that the tow bar assembly 30 can be detached from the vehicle frame by pulling the quick release handle 311 to disengage the locking recess on the securing pin 31 of the tow bar assembly 30.

[0172] The quick release handle 311 is biased towards the upper surface of the chassis assembly 300 by a resilient member, such that the quick release handle 311 is always in engagement with the securing pin 31 of the tow bar assembly 30.
