Abstract
Description
Management device, extracorporeal circulation management device having management device, operation method of management device, and operation program of management device
[0001] The present invention relates to a management device that manages, for example, pulmonary circulation, which oxygenates a patient's blood outside the body and returns it to the body, an extracorporeal circulation management device that has a management device, an operating method of the management device, and an operating program of the management device.
[0002] Extracorporeal circulation devices have been used in the past, for example, to perform pulmonary circulation, which involves drawing a patient's blood outside the body, oxygenating it using an artificial lung, and then returning it to the body. Such extracorporeal circulation devices have a management device that manages the device, and the management device has a display (graphical user interface, etc.) that displays various data related to the extracorporeal circulation device (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Meanwhile, in recent years, in response to demands for miniaturization of extracorporeal circulation devices, the displays of the management devices have also been made smaller.
[0003] Special table number 2018-529503
[0004] However, even if the display is made smaller, the number of essential data that must be displayed simultaneously does not decrease, so this essential number of data ends up being displayed simultaneously on a small display. In this case, this data is displayed overlapping each other, which creates a problem in that it is difficult for doctors and MEs (medical engineers) using extracorporeal circulation devices to see the data displayed on the display.
[0005] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a management device having a display unit such as a display that is easy for users to see, an extracorporeal circulation device having a management device, an operating method of the management device, and a control program for the management device.
[0006] The above object is achieved in the present invention (1) by a management device for managing an extracorporeal circulation device having an artificial lung device, a pump unit, and an extracorporeal circulation circuit, the management device having a display unit for displaying various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device, and a control unit, the control unit groups the various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device into a plurality of groups based on preset association information, and the display unit has an aggregated display area for aggregating and arranging the various information belonging to each group.
[0007] According to the above configuration, the control unit groups various pieces of information (e.g., pressure values, etc.) related to the extracorporeal circulation device into multiple groups (e.g., arterial side information, etc.) based on pre-set correlation information, and the display unit aggregates and arranges each group (e.g., arterial side information, etc.) in its aggregated display area (e.g., tube pressure information display area, etc.), so that users such as doctors performing surgery can reliably and instantly see various pieces of information they need.
[0008] (2) The management device of (1) above is preferably characterized in that the relevance information is information on the degree to which blood is oxygenated during circulation in the extracorporeal circulation device.
[0009] According to the above configuration, the correlation information is information on the degree to which blood is oxygenated during circulation in the extracorporeal circulation device (e.g., information on pressure inside the tube, etc.), and since grouping is performed based on such correlation information, a medical professional such as a doctor can grasp the information of the required group just by looking at it once.
[0010] (3) The management device of (1) or (2) above is preferably characterized in that the relevance information is the purpose of blood measurement in the extracorporeal circulation device, and the groups are grouped based on the purpose of measurement.
[0011] According to the above configuration, the correlation information is the purpose of measuring blood in the extracorporeal circulation device (e.g., measurement of the intratube circulating pressure system, measurement purpose of the blood system, etc.), and groups (e.g., intratube circulating pressure group, circulating blood group, etc.) are grouped based on the measurement purpose, so that a user viewing the display unit can easily grasp the various displayed information according to the measurement purpose.
[0012] (4) The management device according to (1) to (3) above is preferably characterized in that the various types of information displayed in the consolidated display area are arranged in close proximity to one another.
[0013] According to the above configuration, the various pieces of information displayed in the aggregated display area are arranged close to each other, which makes the arrangement easier for the user to view.
[0014] (5) The management devices of (1) to (4) above are preferably characterized in that the various information within the same group is displayed in a similar color that is a different color from the other groups, and each of the various information within the same group is displayed in a different color from the others within the similar color range.
[0015] According to the above configuration, various pieces of information within the same group are displayed in a similar color scheme that is different from other groups, so that various pieces of information within the same group can be quickly distinguished from other groups and understood. Also, various pieces of information within the same group are displayed in a different color scheme that is different from other pieces of information within the same group, so that various pieces of information within the same group can be quickly distinguished from each other and understood.
[0016] (6) The management device of (5) above is preferably characterized in that when the groups are a blood removal group, which is the group in the direction of blood removal from the subject, and a blood transfer group, which is the group in the direction of blood transfer from the subject, the blood removal group is displayed in cool colors that make the user think of venous blood, and the blood transfer group is displayed in warm colors that make the user think of arterial blood.
[0017] According to the above configuration, the blood withdrawal group is displayed in cool colors that make the user think of venous blood, and the blood transfer group is displayed in warm colors that make the user think of arterial blood, so that the user can immediately tell whether the numerical value, etc. is a value for the "blood transfer group" or the "blood withdrawal group" just by looking at the displayed colors.
[0018] (7) The management device according to (1) to (6) above is preferably characterized in that the groups arranged in the aggregated display area are arranged so as to overlap each other.
[0019] According to the above configuration, the multiple groups arranged in the aggregated display area are arranged so as to overlap each other, so that various information required by users such as medical professionals as doctors is arranged in a more aggregated manner, making it easier for users to visually recognize the information of the multiple groups.
[0020] (8) The management device of (1) or (2) above is preferably characterized in that it displays the various related information in accordance with the flow of blood circulating in the extracorporeal circulation device, and the display direction is in the direction in which the user moves their gaze sideways.
[0021] According to this configuration, the various pieces of information (venous blood information, arterial blood information, etc.) related to the flow of blood circulating in the extracorporeal circulation device are displayed in a direction that allows the user to move their gaze sideways. Therefore, for example, a doctor or other person performing surgery can instantly grasp various pieces of information related to the blood flow simply by moving their gaze sideways, and since the information can be obtained by the user's natural gaze movement, it does not impose a significant burden on the user.
[0022] (9) The management device of (1) to (8) above is preferably characterized in that the various information displayed in the aggregated display area can be displayed in a different size from the other various information.
[0023] According to the above configuration, various pieces of information displayed in the aggregate display area can be displayed in a different size from other pieces of information, so that even for various pieces of information within the same group, the display size can be changed depending on the importance, etc.
[0024] (10) The management device of (1) to (9) above is characterized in that when the various information of the group displayed in the aggregate display area is to be hidden, the display area of the group to be hidden is made a darker color than the others.
[0025] According to the above configuration, the display area of the group that should be hidden is displayed in a darker color than the others, so that it is displayed in a color that is less noticeable to the user, and the user can easily prioritize grasping other important numerical values that are more noticeable.
[0026] The above object is achieved in the present invention (11) by an extracorporeal circulation device having an artificial lung device, a pump unit, an extracorporeal circulation circuit, and a management device, wherein the management device has a display unit that displays various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device, and a control unit, the control unit groups the various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device into a plurality of groups based on preset association information, and the display unit has an aggregated display area that aggregates and arranges the various information belonging to each group.
[0027] The above object is achieved in the present invention (12) by a control method for a management device that manages an extracorporeal circulation device having an artificial lung device, a pump unit, and an extracorporeal circulation circuit, and that has a display unit that displays various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device, and a control unit, characterized in that the control unit groups the various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device into a plurality of groups based on preset relevance information, and aggregates and arranges the various information belonging to each group in an aggregate display area of the display unit.
[0028] In the present invention (13), the above object is achieved by a control program for a management device that manages an extracorporeal circulation device having an artificial lung device, a pump unit, and an extracorporeal circulation circuit, and has a display unit that displays various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device, and a control unit, and that realizes a function by which the control unit groups various information related to the extracorporeal circulation device into multiple groups based on preset relevance information, and a function by which the control unit aggregates and arranges the various information belonging to each group in an aggregate display area of the display unit.
[0029] As described above, the present invention has the advantage of being able to provide a management device having a display unit such as a display that is easy for users to see, an extracorporeal circulation device having a management device, an operating method of the management device, and a control program for the management device.

[0031] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, etc. The embodiments described below are preferred specific examples of the present invention, and therefore various technically preferable limitations are applied, but the scope of the present invention is not limited to these embodiments unless otherwise specified in the following description to the effect that the present invention is limited.
[0032] (Main Configuration of Extracorporeal Circulation Apparatus 1) Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the main configuration of an extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Fig. 1, the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 is an apparatus for extracorporeally circulating blood of a subject, for example, a patient P. When using the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1, the patient P may have an abnormal heart function, or may have a normal heart function but an abnormal lung function. The extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 according to this embodiment shown in Fig. 1 may be used, for example, when performing cardiac surgery on the patient P or for subsequent treatment in an ICU (intensive care unit).
[0033] Specifically, a pump unit such as a centrifugal pump 3 is operated via a drive motor 4 of the extracorporeal circulation device 1, blood is drawn from the vein (vena cava) of the patient P, and the blood is oxygenated by gas exchange using an artificial lung device such as an artificial lung 2, and then this blood is returned to the artery (aorta) of the patient P, thereby performing "artificial lung extracorporeal blood circulation." In other words, the extracorporeal circulation device 1 acts as a substitute for the heart and lungs.
[0034] The extracorporeal circulation device 1 has the following configuration: That is, as shown in Fig. 1, the extracorporeal circulation device 1 has an extracorporeal circulation circuit for circulating blood, for example, a "circulation circuit 1R," and the circulation circuit 1R has an "oxygenator 2," a "centrifugal pump 3," a "drive motor 4," a "venous catheter (blood removal catheter) 5," an "arterial catheter (blood delivery catheter) 6," and a management device, for example, a controller 10. The centrifugal pump 3 is also called a blood pump, and pumps other than centrifugal pumps may also be used.
[0035] 1 is inserted into the femoral vein via a connector 8, and the tip of the venous catheter 5 is placed in the right atrium. The arterial catheter 6 is inserted into the femoral artery via a connector 9.
[0036] The venous catheter 5 is connected to the centrifugal pump 3 via a connector 8 and a blood removal tube 11. This blood removal tube 11 is a conduit for sending blood. When the drive motor 4 operates the centrifugal pump 3 in response to a command from the controller 10, the centrifugal pump 3 returns the blood removed from the blood removal tube 11 and passed through the oxygenator 2 to the patient P via a blood return tube 12.
[0037] The oxygenator 2 is disposed between the centrifugal pump 3 and the blood transfer tube 12. As shown in FIG. 1 , the oxygenator 2 introduces oxygen gas and performs gas exchange (oxygenation and / or carbon dioxide removal) on the blood. The oxygenator 2 is, for example, a membrane oxygenator, but a hollow fiber membrane oxygenator is particularly preferred. The blood transfer tube 12 is a conduit connecting the oxygenator 2 to the arterial catheter 6. The blood removal tube 11 and the blood transfer tube 12 are conduits made of a highly transparent and flexible synthetic resin, such as polyvinyl chloride resin or silicone rubber. Furthermore, blood flows in a V direction within the blood removal tube 11, while blood flows in a W direction within the blood transfer tube 12. The extracorporeal circulation device 1 also includes a shunt 13 that connects the blood removal tube 11 and the blood transfer tube 12 just before the oxygenator 2. This shunt 13 is used when a large amount of blood needs to be circulated outside the body.
[0038] 1, the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 is provided with a main flow rate sensor 7a and an optional flow rate sensor 7b (described later) in its blood transfer tube 12, which measure various information related to the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1 of the patient P, such as the flow rate of blood in the blood transfer tube 12. The blood removal tube 11 is provided with a first pressure sensor P1 (removal pressure) for measuring various information related to the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1, such as pressure values, a second pressure sensor P2 (artificial lung pressure) is provided between the centrifugal pump 3 and the oxygenator 2, and a third pressure sensor P3 (removal pressure) is provided in the blood transfer tube 12.
[0039] The main flow rate sensor 7a and the optional flow rate sensor 7b are disposed on either side of the shunt section 13. In this embodiment, the main flow rate sensor 7a is designated as the "main" and the optional flow rate sensor 7b is designated as the "optional," but the present invention is not limited to this. The optional flow rate sensor 7b may be designated as the "main" and the main flow rate sensor 7a as the "optional." Furthermore, a first oxygen sensor 21a and a second oxygen sensor 21b are disposed near the first pressure sensor P1 and the third pressure sensor P3, respectively, for measuring various information related to the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1, such as oxygen saturation.
[0040] 1 is also connected to a hematocrit sensor 22, a blood temperature sensor 23, and a hemoglobin level meter 24, which measure various types of information about the extracorporeal circulation device 1 of the patient P, such as the hematocrit (HTC) value, blood temperature, and hemoglobin (Hgb) value, respectively (see FIG. 2).
[0041] As shown in FIG. 1, the controller 10 also has a display 113, which is a small display unit that displays in color using a color liquid crystal display, organic EL display, or the like. The size of the display 113 is, for example, 7 inches wide, with a width (w) of 91 mm and a height (t) of 152 mm, which is smaller than the conventional width (w) of 114 mm and height (t) of 152 mm.
[0042] The controller 10 of the extracorporeal circulation device 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes a computer, which includes a CPU (Central Processing Unit), RAM (Random Access Memory), ROM (Read Only Memory), and the like (not shown), which are connected via a bus.
[0043] Fig. 2 is a schematic block diagram showing the main components of the controller 10 etc. of Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the controller 10 has a "controller 111", which controls a "communication device 112" for communication by the controller 10, the display 113 described above, a "various information input device 114", a "clock 115" that generates time information such as time information, etc.
[0044] 2, the control unit 111 also controls an "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117," a "various information storage unit 118," an "FI information generation unit (program)" 119, an "association information storage unit 120," and an "association information display unit (program) 121," which store various information related to the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1. Specific details of these will be described later.
[0045] (Information stored in the extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117) First, information on the pressure values of the "first pressure sensor P1," "second pressure sensor P2," and "third pressure sensor P3" shown in Figures 1 and 2 is stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in Figure 2 in association with the time information of the clock 115. In addition, the flow rate values of the "main flow rate sensor 7a" and "optional flow rate sensor 7b" in Figures 1 and 2 are stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock.
[0046] 1 is stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock 115. The oxygen saturation (%) values of the "first oxygen sensor 21a" and the "second oxygen sensor 21b" shown in FIG. 2 are also stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock 115.
[0047] The body temperature value (°C) of the "blood temperature sensor 23" shown in Fig. 2 is also stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock 115. The value of the "hematocrit sensor 22" in Fig. 2 (the volume ratio (%) of red blood cells in whole blood) is also stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock 115.
[0048] The value of the "hemoglobin amount measuring device 24" (the amount of hemoglobin in whole blood (g / dL)) is also stored in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117" in association with the time information of the clock 115. Regarding the FI value, the "FI information generating unit 119" in FIG. 2 operates to correct and convert the blood circulation volume based on the patient's physical difference (per body surface area) to generate an "FI value (L / min / m2)", which is stored in association with the time information of the clock 115 in the "extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117".
[0049] (Extracorporeal circulation information displayed on the display 113) A screen is displayed on the display 113 shown in Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a schematic explanatory diagram showing an example of the screen, for example, "screen 200." As shown in Fig. 3, the example screen 200 has a first display area, for example, an upper display 201, and a second display area, for example, a lower display 210.
[0050] (Upper display 201) The upper display 201 has, for example, four frames for displaying information, specifically a large frame, a medium frame, and two small frames, as shown in Fig. 3. The upper display 201 also displays fixed information that is particularly important to the extracorporeal circulation device 1, such as the "flow rate value," "centrifugal pump rotation speed," and "FI value."
[0051] This large frame is a "flow rate frame 202" that displays, for example, numerical information on the flow rate (blood flow rate (L / min) / body surface area (m2)). The flow rate value is displayed in the "flow rate frame 202" by referencing the value of the main flow rate sensor 7a in the extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117, and the current value, for example, "3.79 (an example of numerical information)" is displayed in the "flow rate frame 202." The flow rate is an important indicator for understanding the amount of blood circulation, so it is displayed in the "large frame." Specifically, medical personnel and the like confirm that the flow rate is a constant value as an indicator of circulation, and a low flow rate indicates insufficient blood circulation.
[0052] 3, the flow rate frame 202 simultaneously displays the letters "LPM" indicating the flow rate unit and a "flow rate icon L1" along with numerical information. The medium frame is a "centrifugal pump frame 203" that displays numerical information, such as the rotation speed of the centrifugal pump 3 (revolutions per minute of the centrifugal pump). The rotation speed of the centrifugal pump is determined by referring to the value of the centrifugal pump 3 stored in the extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117, and in the case of FIG. 3, the current value "2365" is displayed.
[0053] The rotation speed of the centrifugal pump 3 is displayed because it is related to the flow rate and is an important indicator to be viewed together with the flow rate in the event of a problem. In addition, as shown in Fig. 3, the centrifugal pump frame 203 simultaneously displays the letters "RPM" indicating the rotation speed unit of the centrifugal pump 3 and a "centrifugal pump icon R" together with the numerical information.
[0054] In addition, a small frame on the right side of the figure is an "FI frame 204" that displays, for example, numerical information on FI (flow index: L / min / m2). The "FI value (L / min / m2)" refers to the FI value stored in the extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117, and the "FI value (L / min / m2)" refers to the FI value stored in the extracorporeal circulation information storage unit 117, and the current value "2.3" is displayed. FI is similar to cardiac index (CI), but differs in that CI indicates the circulatory state within the patient's body, while FI calculates the blood volume within the extracorporeal circulation device 1.
[0055] Specifically, FI is an index for understanding hemodynamics, and is an index obtained by correcting and converting the blood circulation volume based on the patient's physical differences (per body surface area). In other words, FI is one of the indexes for confirming the appropriate state of blood circulation volume. In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, the "FI frame 204" simultaneously displays an "FI icon F" along with the numerical information of FI.
[0056] In addition, in the small frame on the left side of the figure, an "optional flow rate frame 205" is displayed, which displays, for example, the flow rate value (e.g., 2.85) of the optional flow rate sensor 7b. The "optional flow rate frame 205" is displayed smaller than the "flow rate frame 202" which displays the flow rate value of the main flow rate sensor 7a.
[0057] Therefore, the configuration can prevent the user from having difficulty visually recognizing the flow rate value of the main flow rate sensor 7a due to the presence of the "optional flow rate frame 205".
[0058] In the optional flow rate frame 205, the letters "LPM" indicating the flow rate unit of the optional flow rate sensor 7b and an "optional flow rate icon L2" are displayed together with numerical information (2.85, etc.).
[0059] (Lower display 210) In this embodiment, the "lower display 210" displays non-fixed information related to fixed information such as the flow rate value, the rotation speed of the centrifugal pump, and the FI value displayed on the upper display 201. This non-fixed information includes, for example, the pressure values of the first pressure sensor P1 (delivery pressure), the second pressure sensor P2 (artificial lung pressure), and the third pressure sensor P3 (delivery pressure), the oxygen saturation values of the first oxygen sensor 21a and the second oxygen sensor 21b, the blood temperature value of the blood temperature sensor 23, the value of the hematocrit sensor 22, and the value of the hemoglobin meter 24. The non-fixed information is grouped into multiple groups based on "relevance information," and various pieces of information belonging to each group are aggregated and displayed in an "aggregated display area," as described below.
[0060] (Relationship Information Storage Unit 120) The "relationship information storage unit 120" in Fig. 2 stores "relationship information" for various information related to the extracorporeal circulation apparatus 1. This "relationship information" is "information on the degree of blood oxygenation," and is stored for each group based on this information. This allows a medical professional, such as a doctor, to grasp the information of the required group with just one glance.
[0061] Specifically, the groups are as follows: First, there are, for example, an "intratube circulation pressure information group" and a "circulating blood information group" as groups for measuring blood in the extracorporeal circulation device 1. 1) The "intratube circulation pressure information group" is a group related to information about the pressure in the circulation circuit IR of the extracorporeal circulation device 1, and specifically, the pressure values of the first pressure sensor P1, the second pressure sensor P2, the third pressure sensor P3, and the second pressure sensor, the difference between the first pressure sensor, and the difference between the second pressure sensor and the third pressure sensor, are stored as "relevance information."
[0062] 2) The "circulating blood information group" is a group related to information about the blood in the tubes of the extracorporeal circulation device 1, and specifically, the oxygen saturation values of the first oxygen sensor 21a and the second oxygen sensor 21b, the value of the blood temperature sensor 23, and the value of the hematocrit sensor 22 or the hemoglobin meter 24 are stored as "relevance information."
[0063] In addition, there are, for example, a "venous blood side information group" which is a blood withdrawal group for the patient, and an "arterial blood side information group" which is a blood repatriation group for the patient. 3) The "venous blood side information group" is a group related to the blood from the patient P to the oxygenator 2 in the extracorporeal circulation device 1, and specifically, the pressure values of the first pressure sensor P1 and the second pressure sensor P2, the difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the first pressure sensor P1, the value of the first oxygen sensor 21a, and the value of the hematocrit sensor 22 or the hemoglobin amount meter 24 are stored as "relevance information."
[0064] 4) The "arterial blood side information group" is a group related to blood from the artificial lung 2 to the patient P in the extracorporeal circulation device 1, and specifically, the value of the third pressure sensor P3, the difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the third pressure sensor P3, the value of the second oxygen sensor 21b, and the value of the blood temperature sensor 23 are stored as "relevance information."
[0065] There is also a pumping power group for the centrifugal pump 3 and a lung performance group for the oxygenator 2. 5) The "pumping power group" is a group related to the pumping power of the centrifugal pump 3 of the extracorporeal circulation device 1, and specifically, the pressure values of the first pressure sensor P1 and the second pressure sensor P2, and the differential information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the first pressure sensor P1 are stored as "relevance information."
[0066] 6) In the "lung performance group," the values of the second pressure sensor P2 and the third pressure sensor P3, and the difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the third pressure sensor P3 are stored as "relevance information."
[0067] In this embodiment, the "relevance information display unit (program) 121" in FIG. 2 operates, refers to the "relevance information storage unit 120" in FIG. 2, and arranges various pieces of information from the same group close together as an "aggregated display area" on the lower display 210 in FIG. 3.
[0068] (Aggregated Display Area) Figure 4 is a schematic diagram showing, for example, an "intratube circulation pressure information group" and a "circulating blood information group," which are the "aggregated display area" on the lower display 210 of Figure 3. In Figure 4, the area surrounded by a solid line indicates the "intratube circulation pressure information group display area 2110," and the area surrounded by a dashed line indicates the "circulating blood information group display area 2120." Therefore, by grouping the information into an "intratube circulation pressure information group" and a "circulating blood information group" based on the measurement purpose, users such as doctors can easily grasp the various displayed information by measurement purpose.
[0069] Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram showing, for example, a "venous blood side information group" and an "arterial blood side information group" which are the "aggregated display area" on the lower display 210 in Fig. 3. In Fig. 5, the area surrounded by a solid line indicates the "venous blood side information group display area 2210," and the area indicated by a dashed line indicates the "arterial blood side information group display area 2220."
[0070] 6 is a schematic diagram showing, for example, "pump power group" and "lung performance group" as "aggregated display areas" in the lower display 210 of FIG. 3 . In FIG. 6 , the area surrounded by a solid line indicates the "pump power group display area 2310," and the area indicated by a dashed line indicates the "lung performance group display area 2320." In FIG. 6 , "difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the first pressure sensor P1," which are calculated values of pump power and lung performance, and "difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the third pressure sensor P3," are arranged together. In this way, both groups include the value of the same second pressure sensor P2 in their areas, which is an example of an "overlapping arrangement."
[0071] As a result, users such as doctors undergoing surgery can instantly and reliably view various information they need on a group basis.
[0072] Furthermore, various types of information about the extracorporeal circulation device 1 are displayed in the same group in the same consolidated display area, and various types of information belonging to the same group are arranged close to each other, allowing for a compact arrangement that is easy for users such as doctors to see.
[0073] 4 and 5, in this embodiment, the values of hematocrit sensor 22 and hemoglobin meter 24 are selected and only one is displayed. This reduces the amount of data displayed on lower display 210, making it easier for doctors and other users to see. Furthermore, the values of hematocrit sensor 22 and hemoglobin meter 24 indicate similar data, so doctors and other users can understand the condition of patient P by visually checking either one of the values.
[0074] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the "intratube circulating pressure information display area 2110" is placed on the upper side and the "circulating blood information display area 2120" is placed on the lower side, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the "intratube circulating pressure information display area 2110" may be placed on the lower side and the "circulating blood information display area 2120" on the upper side.
[0075] (Arrangement of the venous blood side information display area 2210 and the arterial blood side display area 2220) In this embodiment, the venous blood side information group and the arterial blood side information group are arranged from left to right in the diagram of the lower display 210, as shown in Fig. 5, in accordance with the flow of blood in the extracorporeal circulation device 1. That is, the "venous blood side information display area 2210" in Fig. 5 is arranged on the left side and the "arterial blood side display area 2220" on the right side, and the display direction is horizontal.
[0076] On the other hand, the lower display 210 allows a user such as a doctor to naturally and effortlessly move their gaze sideways. Therefore, for example, a doctor during surgery can instantly grasp various pieces of information related to blood flow in the venous blood information group and the arterial blood information group simply by moving their gaze sideways. Furthermore, because the necessary information can be obtained by a natural gaze movement of the user such as a doctor, it is possible for the doctor to easily grasp which part of the body the pressure information is referring to without placing a significant burden on the doctor.
[0077] (Display size of various information) In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 4, the sizes of the displayed characters etc. are different when displaying the values of the first pressure sensor P1, the second pressure sensor P2, and the third pressure sensor P3, and when displaying the difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the first pressure sensor P1 and the difference information between the second pressure sensor P2 and the third pressure sensor P3, with the values of pressure sensor P1 etc. being displayed larger.
[0078] In this way, in this embodiment, important data can be emphasized by changing the display size of various information depending on its importance. Furthermore, in the present invention, the size of characters displayed for each group, such as the venous blood side information group, may be changed, and unnecessary data may be temporarily erased.
[0079] (Color display of various information) In this embodiment, in groups such as the "intratube circulation pressure information group," "circulating blood information group," "venous blood side information group," "arterial blood side information group," "pump power group," and "lung performance group," various information within the same group is given a similar color (an example of a similar color).
[0080] Here, "similar colors" includes not only "color scheme" but also "hue," "saturation," "brightness," etc., and also includes displaying different colors based on these differences. However, it is required that each type of information does not use the same color.
[0081] "Color schemes" include cool colors, warm colors, and neutral colors. Cool colors are colors that give a cold feeling, such as blue, and evoke the image of venous blood, while warm colors are colors that give a warm feeling, such as red, and evoke the image of arterial blood. Neutral colors include green and achromatic colors that do not give a cold or warm feeling.
[0082] Furthermore, "hue" refers to differences in color tone, such as red, blue, and yellow, and "saturation" refers to the degree of "vividness" of a color, that is, the strength of the hue. Colors with saturation are "chromatic colors," while those without saturation are "achromatic colors." Colors such as white, gray, and black are achromatic colors.
[0083] "Lightness" refers to the degree of lightness or "brightness" of a color, with maximum lightness (100%) being white and minimum lightness (0%) being black.
[0084] In this embodiment, for example, the "venous blood side information group" is primarily colored in cool colors such as blue, and the "arterial blood side information group" is primarily colored in warm colors such as red. Note that the color of each group in this embodiment may be different from the colors of the other groups. This allows users such as doctors to easily distinguish and understand each group from the other groups.
[0085] In this manner, in this embodiment, by using cool colors such as blue for the various information in the venous blood side information group, the user can easily recognize that the data is from the venous side. Also, by using warm colors such as red for the various information in the arterial blood side information group, the user can easily recognize that the data is from the arterial side.
[0086] As described above, in this embodiment, by selecting a different color scheme for each group, the user can easily understand that the data is different from other groups, while by using the same color scheme for data in the same group, the user can easily understand that the data are related.
[0087] 4 to 6, when the numerical display of the group shown in Figures 4 to 6 is not displayed, it may be configured to be displayed in a darker color than the colors used for the other groups. This makes the hidden parts less noticeable, making it easier for users such as doctors to prioritize and grasp other important numerical values that are more noticeable.
[0088] (Overlapping of aggregated display areas) In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 4 to 6, the displayed groups in the "intratube circulating pressure information display area 2110", "circulating blood information display area 2120", "venous blood side information display area 2210", "arterial blood side display area 2220", etc. are displayed overlapping each other.
[0089] In this way, by displaying multiple groups so that they overlap, the groups can be consolidated and arranged in a smaller area, making it easier for the user to instantly grasp the data.
[0090] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as described above, the colors of groups such as the "venous blood side information display area 2210" and the "arterial blood side display area 2220" are different, so even if the groups overlap, it is easy to understand which group the data belongs to.
[0091] In the above-described embodiment, an example has been given in which the invention is realized as a device, but the invention is not limited to this, and the invention may be distributed as a program that can be executed by a computer, stored on a storage medium such as a magnetic disk (a floppy (registered trademark) disk, a hard disk, etc.), an optical disk (a CD-ROM, a DVD, etc.), a magneto-optical disk (MO), or a semiconductor memory.
[0092] The storage medium may be any medium that can store the program and is readable by a computer, and the storage format of the storage medium is not particularly limited.
[0093] In addition, an OS (operating system), database management software, network software, or other MW (middleware) running on a computer may execute some of the processes required to realize this embodiment based on instructions from a program installed on the computer from a storage medium.
[0094] Furthermore, the storage medium in the present invention is not limited to a medium independent of a computer, but also includes a storage medium that stores or temporarily stores a program downloaded via a LAN, the Internet, or the like.
[0095] Furthermore, the computer in the present invention only needs to execute each process in this embodiment based on a program stored in a storage medium, and may be a device consisting of a single personal computer, or a system in which multiple devices are connected to a network.
[0096] Furthermore, the term "computer" in this invention is not limited to a personal computer, but also includes an arithmetic processing unit included in information processing equipment, a microcomputer, and an artificial lung, and is a general term for equipment and devices that can realize the functions of this invention using a program.
[0097] The above describes the embodiments of the present invention. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the claims. The configurations of the above embodiments can be partially omitted or arbitrarily combined in a different manner from the above.
