[0018] In order to better understand the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present disclosure, not all the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art should belong to the scope protected by the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0019] Before the method for transferring tasks in the embodiments of the present disclosure is described, the application scenarios of the method for transferring tasks are briefly described to facilitate understanding.

[0020] FIG. 1 is an example system architecture diagram in which at least one embodiment of the present disclosure can be applied. The system framework can include a terminal device and a head-mounted display device. The terminal device includes but is not limited to a handheld or laptop device, a network personal computer, etc., such as a mobile phone. The terminal device can have a computing unit and can run an application to implement a corresponding task. The head-mounted display device can include but is not limited to an augmented reality (AR) glasses. The head-mounted display device and the terminal device can be connected in various ways, such as a wired, wireless communication link or an optical cable, etc., which are not specifically limited here. As an example, the head-mounted display device and the terminal device can be connected through a USB interface. The USB (Universal Serial Bus) is an external bus standard, which is used to standardize the connection and communication of the terminal device and the head-mounted display device. The USB interface supports the plug-and-play and hot-plug functions of the device.

[0021] The terminal device can support the running of an application, and can also support the communication connection and disconnection with the head-mounted display device. For example, by connecting the head-mounted display device with the terminal device, a preset application program can be started, and the foreground and / or background applications on the terminal device can be processed, so that the application tasks on the terminal device can be rendered into a virtual image stream and displayed on the head-mounted display device.

[0022] It should be noted that the method for transferring tasks provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can be executed by the terminal device, and accordingly, the device for transferring tasks is generally provided in the terminal device. It can be understood that the number of terminal devices and head-mounted display devices in FIG. 1 is only exemplary. According to the needs of implementation, there can be any number of terminal devices and head-mounted display devices.

[0023] Referring to FIG. 2, a flowchart of steps of a method for transferring a task is shown according to an example embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown, the present embodiment mainly includes the following steps:

[0024] S202, in response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, starting a preset application and cutting a foreground application currently running into the background.

[0025] For example, when the terminal device detects that the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, the preset application in the terminal device is started. The preset application can be used to start the head-mounted display device, which can be integrated with the operating system of the terminal device. Alternatively, the preset application can be understood as an application that drives the head-mounted display device to run. Moreover, when the preset application is started, the preset application can run to cut the foreground application currently running on the main screen of the terminal device into the background.

[0026] S204, running the preset application to create a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device.

[0027] For example, when the preset application is run, a creation program for creating a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device in the terminal device can be started, and the creation program can be used to create a display screen displayed by the head-mounted display device. Alternatively, the preset application can create a secondary screen of the terminal device and determine the secondary screen as the virtual screen of the head-mounted display device, so that the content of the secondary screen can be displayed by the head-mounted display device. The virtual display screen can display the running interface of an application in the terminal device, and the virtual display screen can display the running interface of one application or simultaneously display the running interfaces of multiple applications, which is not limited in the present embodiment.

[0028] S206, controlling the preset application to determine a first target background application from a background application task list.

[0029] For example, after the preset application is started, the background application task list of the terminal device can be queried, wherein the background application task list can include at least one background application. For example, the background application task list can include the foreground application that is cut into the background from the foreground when the preset application is started, or the background application task list can also include the application that is switched from the foreground to the background in a preset time period of the terminal device, and the like. For example, the terminal device can be a mobile phone, and the background application list of the mobile phone can include the application that is cut into the background from the foreground when the preset application is started, and all the applications in the background of the mobile phone before that. Then, the first target background application can be selected from the background application task list in various ways. For example, any one or more background applications in the background application list can be determined as the first target background application.

[0030] In some optional embodiments, determining the first target background application from the background application task list can include: obtaining historical use records of each background application in the background application task list; and determining the first target background application from the background application task list based on the historical use records.

[0031] Exemplarily, after the background application task list is queried, the historical use records of each background application in the background application task list can be obtained, and the historical use records can include the historical total use time length, the single use time length, the historical use frequency, whether to be marked, etc. of each background application, which are not limited in the embodiment. Then, one or more background applications are selected from the background application task list according to the historical use records, for example, one background application with the longest historical total use time length, or one background application with the longest single use time length, or one background application with the highest historical use frequency, or at least two of the above three background applications (assuming that the above three background applications do not coincide), or a marked background application, etc. are selected, and the selected one or more background applications are determined as the first target background application. In the embodiment, when the first target background application is determined from the background application list, the historical use records of each background application in the background application task list can be obtained; and the first target background application is determined from the background application task list based on the historical use records, so that the application frequently used by the user or the application marked and collected, etc. in the background application list can be displayed in the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device, making the user use more convenient and improving the user experience.

[0032] S208, pulling up the first target background application, and displaying the first target background application on the virtual display screen.

[0033] Exemplarily, after the first target background application is determined from the background application task list, the determined first target background application can be pulled up from the background application task list to run, and the running interface of the first target background application is displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device.

[0034] In some optional embodiments, the execution subject running the preset application program can pull up the first target background application. Image data when the first target background application runs is obtained, and then the obtained image data is rendered into a virtual image by a unity3D or other image rendering engine, and the rendered virtual image is sent to the virtual display screen, so as to display the image of the first target background application through the head-mounted display device.

[0035] In some optional embodiments, after the preset application program is started to cut the currently running foreground application of the terminal device into the background, the preset application program can also render a two-dimensional control panel or other image to be displayed on the main screen of the terminal device, so as to control the head-mounted display device by taking the terminal device as a controller of the head-mounted display device.

[0036] In this embodiment, when the head-mounted display device accesses the terminal device, the foreground application running on the terminal device is cut into the background through the preset application, the virtual display screen in the head-mounted display device is started, the first target background application is determined from the background application list and pulled up, and displayed on the virtual display screen. After the head-mounted display device accesses the terminal device, the application in the terminal device can be automatically displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device, without the need for the user to operate the application on the terminal device, thereby reducing the user operation and improving the user experience.

[0037] In some optional embodiments, in response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, a preset application is started, a foreground application currently running is cut into the background, the preset application is run to create a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device, the preset application is controlled to determine a first target background application from a background application task list, the background application task list includes at least one background application, the first target background application is pulled up, and the first target background application is displayed on the virtual display screen. In some optional embodiments, in response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, a preset application is started, a foreground application currently running is cut into the background, the preset application is run to create a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device, the preset application is controlled to pull up a first target background application from a background application task list, image data when the first target background application is running is obtained, the obtained image data is rendered into a virtual image, and the virtual image is sent to the virtual display screen for display.

[0038] In some optional embodiments, the background application task list can include a foreground application cut into the background when the preset application is started; determining the first target background application from the background application task list includes determining the foreground application cut into the background from the background application task list, and determining the determined foreground application as the first target background application.

[0039] For example, when the preset application is started, the foreground application currently running on the terminal device can be cut into the background, therefore, the foreground application can be included in the background application task list, and when the first target background application is determined from the background application task list, the foreground application can be selected as the first target background application, so that the foreground application can be pulled up and displayed on the virtual display screen. For example, the terminal device is a mobile phone, the head-mounted display device is detected to be connected to the mobile phone, and the preset application is started to cut the application program A displayed on the mobile phone into the background. In this case, the application program A can be included in the background application task list, the application program A is determined as the first target background application, the application program A is pulled up to run, and the application program A can be displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device.

[0040] In this embodiment, by determining the foreground application cut into the background from the background application task list as the first target background application, and pulling up the first target background application to display on the virtual display screen, it is realized that after the head-mounted display device accesses the terminal device, the application running in the terminal device when the head-mounted display device accesses can be automatically displayed on the virtual display screen. The application running in the terminal device when the head-mounted display device accesses can not be changed because of the access of the head-mounted display device, and the user experience is improved. In some optional embodiments, before the currently running foreground application is cut into the background, the method for transferring tasks can further include: determining the running state of the first target background application when it is cut into the background, and obtaining the state information of the first target background application. Pulling up the first target background application and displaying the first target background application on the virtual display screen include: based on the obtained state information, running the pulled-up first target background application, and displaying the running interface of the first target background application on the virtual display screen.

[0041] For example, when starting the preset application program, the foreground application cut from the foreground into the background can be a video playing application B, and the running state of the video playing application B when it is cut into the background can include a target video playing progress. Therefore, the state information of the video playing application B, i.e., the target video playing progress, can be obtained. Thus, when pulling up the video playing application B from the background application list, based on the obtained state information, i.e., the target video playing progress, the pulled-up foreground application can be run, and the running interface of the video playing application B, i.e., the foreground application, can be displayed on the virtual display screen according to the target video playing progress.

[0042] In some optional embodiments, in response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is connected with the terminal device, starting the preset application program can cut the currently running foreground application of the terminal device into the background, and the foreground application can be added to the background application list. Running the preset application program can create a secondary screen of the terminal device, and determine the secondary screen as the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device. Running the preset application program can determine the above-mentioned foreground application cut into the background as the first target background application from the background application list, pull up the first target background application, and obtain the image data corresponding to the state information of the first target background application cut into the background. The image data obtained is processed by a virtual image rendering engine such as unity3D to obtain a corresponding virtual image, and the virtual image is displayed on the virtual display screen, so as to realize seamless transfer of the application task running in the terminal device to the head-mounted display device for display.

[0043] In some optional embodiments, a secondary screen of the terminal device is created by running a preset application; and the created secondary screen is determined as a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device.

[0044] In some optional embodiments, image data corresponding to the state information of the first target background application that is cut into the background is acquired; the acquired image data is rendered by a virtual image rendering engine to obtain a corresponding virtual image; and the obtained virtual image is displayed on the virtual display screen.

[0045] In the embodiment, when the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, starting the application can cut a currently running foreground application into the background, and the running state information of the foreground application can be recorded. Thus, when the foreground application is determined as the first target background application and is pulled up to run, the running state of the foreground application can be used as a basis for running, and the corresponding running interface can be realized on the virtual display screen. This embodiment realizes that, after the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, the application that is running in the terminal device when the head-mounted display device is connected can be automatically displayed on the virtual display screen, and the running state of the application can be seamlessly connected, so that the application running in the terminal device is not interrupted due to the connection of the head-mounted display device, and the convenience and efficiency of the user when using the head-mounted display device are improved. The scheme disclosed in the embodiment also ensures the continuity and consistency of the application, greatly improves the user experience, and provides a seamless switching environment for the user, so that the user can enjoy a smooth and uninterrupted operation experience between the head-mounted display device and the terminal device.

[0046] In some optional embodiments, the method of the embodiment further includes: in response to determining that the main screen of the terminal device displays a plurality of applications, cutting the plurality of applications into the background. Determining the first target background application from the background application task list includes: determining at least one application in the plurality of applications as the first target background application from the background application task list.

[0047] Exemplarily, taking a computer as the terminal device, before the head-mounted display device is connected to the computer, a plurality of applications can be running on the main screen of the computer. When the head-mounted display device is connected to the computer, the plurality of applications running on the computer can be cut into the background, so that the plurality of applications can be included in the background application task list. After the head-mounted display device is connected to the computer, running the preset application to query the background application list, one or more applications in the plurality of applications cut into the background can be selected as the first target background application, the determined first target background application is pulled up, and the running first target background application is displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device.

[0048] In the embodiment, when the terminal device displays a plurality of application programs, each application program displayed by the terminal device can be switched from the foreground to the background after the head-mounted display device accesses the terminal device, so as to determine at least one application program as the first target background application from the plurality of application programs through the background application task list, run the preset application program to pull up each first target background application, and thus at least one application displayed by the terminal device can be automatically displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device without the user reoperating the application on the terminal device, thereby improving the user experience. As an example, the first target background application selected by the embodiment can be an application program that is being interactively executed when the plurality of application programs are switched to the background, or can be all application programs, which is not uniquely limited here.

[0049] In some optional embodiments, after the currently running foreground application is switched to the background, the method of the present disclosure can further include displaying a control interface of the preset application program in the home screen of the terminal device to control the virtual display screen through the control interface.

[0050] By way of example, starting the preset application program not only switches the currently running foreground application to the background, but also renders the control interface and displays the control interface on the home screen of the terminal device. Here, the terminal device can control the display of the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device through the control interface.

[0051] For example, taking a mobile phone as the terminal device, starting the preset application program can render the control interface and display the rendered touch control interface on the screen of the mobile phone, and the user can control the virtual display screen through the control interface on the terminal device. For example, the operation point displayed on the virtual display screen can be adjusted through the control interface, so as to realize page switching, closing, opening, and the like to change the display content of the virtual display screen. In this case, the terminal device can be used as a controller of the head-mounted display device, which facilitates the user to operate the head-mounted display device.

[0052] With reference back to FIG. 3, FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario of the method for transferring a task according to the present embodiment. In the application scenario of FIG. 3, the terminal device can be a mobile phone. In response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is connected to the mobile phone, a preset application program can be started, a foreground application currently running can be cut into the background, and the foreground application can be application program A. After running the preset application program, a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device can be created, as shown in FIG. 3. Then, the preset application program is controlled to determine the above-mentioned application program A from a background application task list, and to obtain running state information of the application program A when the application program A is cut into the background; the application program A is pulled up according to the obtained running state information, and the application program A is displayed on the virtual display screen, so that seamless transfer of the application program A from the mobile phone to the head-mounted display device can be achieved. Alternatively, when the preset application program is started, a control interface as shown in FIG. 3 can also be rendered, so that the user can control the display of the virtual screen through the control interface. For example, a ray can be rendered according to a direction indicated by the mobile phone, and an intersection of the ray and the virtual screen can be selected by the user by moving the ray, and the user can execute corresponding instructions such as closing the webpage on the operation point by clicking the touch area.

[0053] With reference to FIG. 4, a step flowchart of a method for transferring a task according to another example embodiment of the present disclosure is shown. As shown in the figure, the present embodiment mainly includes the following steps:

[0054] S402, in response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, a current display application displayed on a virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device is cut into the background through a running preset application program.

[0055] For example, when the terminal device detects that the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the preset application program running on the terminal device can cut the current display application displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device into the background of the terminal device. Alternatively, one or more applications can be displayed on the virtual display screen.

[0056] S404, the preset application program is controlled to determine a second target background application from a background application task list.

[0057] For example, the subject executing the preset application program can query a background application task list of the terminal device, wherein the background application task list can include at least one background application. For example, the background application task list can include a current display application displayed on the virtual display screen when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, or the background application task list can include an application displayed on the virtual display screen within a preset time period, and the like. The preset application program can select one or more background applications from the background application task list, and determine the one or more background applications as the second target background application.

[0058] S406, pull up the second target background application, and display the second target background application on the main screen of the terminal device.

[0059] Exemplarily, after determining the second target background application from the background application task list, the second target background application can be pulled up from the background application task list to run in the foreground, and the running interface of the second target background application is displayed on the main screen of the terminal device.

[0060] In this embodiment, when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the preset application program running on the terminal device can cut the current display application on the head-mounted display device into the background of the terminal device, and determine the second target background application from the background application list to pull up and display on the main screen of the terminal device. The scheme disclosed in this embodiment realizes that after the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the application in the background application list of the terminal device is automatically displayed on the main screen of the terminal device, without the need for the user to operate the application on the terminal device, thereby reducing user operation and improving user experience.

[0061] It can be understood that before the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the preset application program runs on the terminal device, so that the head-mounted display device can display at least one application. When the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the preset application program running on the terminal device can cut the current display application on the head-mounted display device into the background. Therefore, the background application list can include each application displayed by the head-mounted display device when disconnected and then cut into the background. Then, the preset application program running on the terminal device can determine and pull up the second target background application, and at this time, the preset application program also runs in the foreground of the terminal device. Finally, the terminal device can directly close the preset application program (or cut the preset application program into the background, which is not limited to the preset application program), and display the second target background application in the foreground of the terminal device.

[0062] In some optional embodiments, the background application task list can include a current display application displayed on the virtual display screen; determining the second target background application from the background application task list includes: determining the current display application cut into the background from the background application list; and determining the determined current display application as the second target background application.

[0063] Exemplarily, when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the current display application displayed on the virtual display screen is cut into the background, and therefore, the current display application can be included in the background application task list. When determining the second target background application from the background application task list, the current display application can be selected as the second target background application, so that the current display application can be pulled up and displayed on the main screen of the terminal device.

[0064] Compared with the above embodiment, the scheme disclosed in the embodiment determines the current display application as the second target background application by determining the current display application cut into the background from the background application task list, and displays the second target background application on the home screen of the terminal device, so that the head-mounted display device can automatically display the application being displayed or operated in the head-mounted display device when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device on the home screen of the terminal device after the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, and the application being used by the user will not change due to the disconnection of the head-mounted display device, thereby improving the user experience.

[0065] In some optional embodiments, before the current display application displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device is cut into the background, the method for transferring tasks further includes: determining the running state of the second target background application when it is cut into the background, and obtaining state information of the second target background application; and raising the second target background application, and displaying the second target background application on the home screen of the terminal device, including: based on the obtained state information, running the raised second target background application, and displaying the running interface of the second target background application on the home screen of the terminal device.

[0066] Exemplarily, before the current display application displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device is cut into the background, the running state of the current display application when it is cut into the background can be determined. For example, the current display application is a video playing application, and the running state of the current display application when it is cut into the background can include a target video playing progress, and the running state information of the current display application determined here can include the target video playing progress. Thus, when the current display application is raised from the background application list, based on the obtained state information, i.e., the target video playing progress, the raised current display application is run, and the running interface of the current display application is displayed on the home screen of the terminal device, i.e., the current display application continues to run on the home screen of the terminal device in accordance with the playing progress of the target video on the head-mounted display device.

[0067] In some optional embodiments, if the foreground of the terminal device can support multiple applications running, when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, all applications displayed by the head-mounted display device can be run and displayed in the foreground of the terminal device.

[0068] The scheme disclosed in the embodiment enables the head-mounted display device to automatically display the application being displayed in the virtual display screen when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, and the running state of the application can be seamlessly connected, so that the application being displayed in the virtual display screen is not interrupted due to the disconnection of the head-mounted display device, the convenience and efficiency of the user in using the head-mounted display device are improved, the continuity and consistency of the application program are ensured, the user experience is greatly improved, a seamless switching environment is provided for the user, and smooth and uninterrupted operation experience can be enjoyed between the head-mounted display device and the terminal device.

[0069] In some optional embodiments, if the number of the current display applications displayed on the virtual display screen is multiple, the determined current display application is determined as the second target background application, including: querying the operation record of each current display application when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device; and determining the current display application with the closest final operation time to the current time as the second target background application based on the final operation time of each current display application in the operation record.

[0070] For example, when the head-mounted display device is connected to the terminal device, multiple applications can be displayed on the virtual display screen simultaneously. When the number of the current display applications displayed on the virtual display screen is multiple, the terminal device can query the operation record of each current display application when the head-mounted display device is disconnected, and the operation record can include the historical operation time of the current display application. The terminal device can query the final operation time of each current display application in the operation record, where the final operation time of each current display application refers to the last operation time of each current display application when the head-mounted display device is disconnected. The current display application with the closest final operation time to the current time is determined as the second target background application. That is, the current display application that is last operated before the head-mounted display device is disconnected is determined as the second target background application. The scheme disclosed in the embodiment can be applied to a scenario in which multiple applications can be displayed on the virtual display screen simultaneously, and only one application running interface can be displayed on the main screen of the terminal device. The scheme can select the current display application that is last operated from the multiple current display applications displayed on the virtual display screen when the head-mounted display device is disconnected, and display the current display application on the main screen of the terminal device, so that the user can continue the operation before the head-mounted display device is disconnected without additional operation on the terminal device, thereby further improving the user experience.

[0071] In some optional embodiments, if the front desk of the terminal device can support multiple applications to run simultaneously, each application displayed by the head-mounted display device can be determined as the second target background application when the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, and each second target background application can be displayed and run on the front desk of the terminal device.

[0072] In some optional embodiments, before determining the second target background application from the background application task list, the method further comprises: stopping, by the preset application program, the running of the creation program for creating the virtual display screen in the terminal device.

[0073] Exemplarily, after the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the terminal device, the creation program for creating the virtual display screen in the terminal device is still running, which occupies the system resources of the terminal device. Alternatively, before determining the second target background application from the background application task list, the creation program for creating the virtual display screen in the terminal device can be closed by the preset application program, so as to release the system resources of the terminal device and make the application programs in the terminal device run more smoothly. Alternatively, the virtual display screen can also be closed by terminating the preset application program after the second target background application is pulled up, and there is no unique limitation on the specific time for closing the virtual display screen.

[0074] In one application scenario of the method for transferring tasks according to the present embodiment, the terminal device can be, for example, a mobile phone or the like. In response to detecting that the head-mounted display device is disconnected from the mobile phone, the current display application C displayed on the virtual display screen of the head-mounted display device can be cut into the background by the preset application program running on the mobile phone. Then, the preset application program determines the application C as the second target background application from the background application task list and acquires the running state information of the application C when the application C is cut into the background. The terminal device pulls up the application C from the background to the foreground according to the acquired running state information, and displays the application C on the main screen of the mobile phone, so as to realize seamless transfer of the application C from the head-mounted display device to the mobile phone.

[0075] Referring to FIG. 5, a structural block diagram of an apparatus for transferring tasks according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure is shown.
